Great clean rooms with hot water showers!! Friendly staff was super helpful! Review edit: 5th stay here was sub par! Two girls working the desk during the day shift were rude, shifty and unreasonable. The room was freezing and the rented blanket did not help. The toilet was SMELLY. Totally uncomfortable! So sorry to see the decline because this use to be one of my favorite stops on the way down the Baja.

It is a walled parking lot so I felt my car and things were safe. The reception was too far for me to go and claim my TV remote not working. Location is perfect to go on with your journey as soon as possible.

Loved it! Very clean! Plus they have a guard all night outside in the parking lot. So you can sleep fweling safe for yourself and your car. The bathrooms and showers are clean and overall the room is clean and the A.C. works perfect and the room has a ceiling fan as well. ALSO the hotel has a restaurant and the food is delicious! I will definitely be staying here again during our next road trip.

This is a great clean place to stay. The rooms are big, have air conditioning and allow dogs if you travel with one. The food is good too. It’s perfect right off the highway and there is a Pemex gas station right down the road with a quickie mart, just don’t eat the ice from the gas station you will regret it.

Habitación limpia, espaciosa y a buen precio, agua caliente al momento. Los puntos malos fueron el Wifi que nunca conectó y la persona de recepción que no fue amable.

Es un hotel sencillo, pero limpio, de muy fácil acceso y con muchas habitaciones. Realmente es un hotel de pasada para descansar y seguir tu viaje, sin embargo tiene internet y una regadera limpia con agua caliente. Tengo entendido que es el mas nuevo de Guerrero Negro y además tiene cargadores para vehículos eléctricos... eso esta muy bien.

El costo beneficio está bien. Esta limpio pero la habitaciin que me tocó olía a tabaco. La televisión solo agarra dos canales y son de deportes. No hay cable. Todo el personal es muy amable, no respetaron la reservación que tenía en planta baja, me dieron otra habitación igual pero en planta alta. A pesar de todo es un buen hotel en Guerrero Negro, no hay mucho de dónde elegir.

Well, it is 4 stars given the nature of the place - you shouldn’t expect a luxury stay in such an area. So TerraSal has nothing outstanding about it but it does the job - rooms are spacious, with hot water. Large parking inside. A decent breakfast. I would rather call it a motel, though

Convenient location right off the highway. Restaurant was food and decently priced. Little playground for the kids. Great price, towels and sheets a little threadbare.

4 stars for the room since they no longer provide a coffee maker, microwave or fridge. Also the mini-split (heat and air conditioning system) does not produce heat. Being a cool, damp and breezy area overnight warmth can be welcome. 1200 pesos for 2 people, 2 queen size bed room.

Very satisfied with the staff, room, security, hot water, price, food….. they do require a cash deposit of $5 USD or 100 pesos. I read complaints of crinkly pillows, I just took the crinkly part off and put it back on in the morning. It’s a typical of other hotels in Mexico with a split unit a/c and tile surfaces. Staff friendly, restaurant was good…they even have 2 plugins for electric vehicles!!! I will definitely stay here again!!

Nice hotel just on the way into town. It is laid out like a compound with one way in/out. Though not gated, the property feels very secure and there are nice grounds for walking yourself and your dog. Rooms are clean and spacious, shower is big, though hot water was limited. A little sparse on the towels. But generally we felt safe and comfortable here.

Nice hotel! Good restaurant. Big rooms , parking in front of your room or in a private car port. Beds are a bit hard, shower a bit difficult to mix, wifi in the back of the hotel area is difficult to connect to but if you are closer to the reception building or in the restaurant it is very fast.

Very clean, spacious and affordable. Free wifi but the signal is really poor in most areas otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Secured parking is great when you're hauling a trailer. In house restaurant is also nice. I think we paid around $800 MX for 2 people. Two queen beds per room. Quiet area. We always stay here. Recommend a reservation during the busy season especially if you're arriving late at night.

We came for the whale watching. Day 1 was great. The hotel or the tour company screwed up our prepaid second day. We wasted a day of travel, and were not given a refund for the tour or the second nig…

We had a room upstairs with private garage below. Spacious, clean, king bed fairly comfortable but not great, large bathroom counter. Could use a bath mat & hangars or hooks. No coffeemaker.…

The WiFi in the rooms above the garages is terrible. The bed is hard. We were given two ratty, greying towels, one hand towel and no facecloth. There were no glasses in the room not even a pap…

La habitación es muy agradable, solo tuvimos mala experiencia en la regadera no había agua caliente al principio, una vez que lo reportamos enviaron a alguien a solucionarlo pero el agua no se podía regular a una temperatura soportable. También no se hiba el agua por la coladera porque estaba tapada. Como sugerencia de un cliente que le agrada el hotel por favor corrijan esos detalles 😊

Por la noche nos tocó tener vecinos ruidosos que salían a fumar al estacionamiento, el humo se metía por la ventila del baño, ojalá hubiera alguien que vigilará la paz del lugar, así como instruir a los visitantes para estacionarse correctamente ya que al parecer es bastante común que en vez de estacionarse en diagonal como lo indican los topes de cada espacio, la gente se estaciona en recta. Si pintarán las líneas , esa gente poco astuta tendría una pista para hacerlo correctamente. Valdría la pena en mejorar el internet que nunca funcionó, así como darle mantenimiento a los calentadores de las regaderas, los cuales fueron muy malos en las tres habitaciones que rentamos. La cafetería está bien.

Si eres de los que te gusta un buen baño caliente en un lugar frío no te recomiendo este hotel. Tiene una ubicación conveniente justo a la entrada de Guerrero Negro. Las habitaciones están bien: amplias, limpias, con Wifi decente y TV por cable. Estaba haciendo frío y aunque la calefacción no servía no nos hizo mucha falta. Lo que sí me hizo mucha falta fue el agua caliente para bañarse. Como mujer acepto que suelo tardar un poco más en bañarme pero ni mi marido ni mis hijos alcanzaron a darse un baño completo con agua caliente. A medio baño y enjabonados se acabó el agua caliente.

Es buena opción para llegar de pasada una noche, habitaciones y baño están bien, Pero el restaurante la comida es muy mala y precios muy elevados, para la madrugada a mi hija ya le dolía la panza y había vomitado.

Es un hotel que cumple con las expectativas, económico,limpio. El restaurante cuenta con un menú variado y está bueno.

Está justo en la intersección carretera - pueblo. Si solo queres llegar a dormir y seguir camino al dia siguiente es buena opción, ya que no te tienes que meter al pueblos. En ntra experiencia las regaderas pesimas, no hubo manera de regular el agua, o salia hirviendo o fria, asi que terminamos bañandonos con agua fria.

Este hotel, es más bien de paso. No tiene buena luz en el cuarto, y el baño no tiene buena regadera. Las toallas en los hoteles deben ser blancas. Ahí eran color café. Y no me gustó. Batallamos para poder abrir la puerta cuando llegamos. Y no fue nadie a ayudarnos.

Pros Big room good parking and safe. Cons Beds and pillows not so good. Was unable to connect to wifi due to low signal. Room was very cold a night with no extra blankets in the room. Small tv with about 8 channels.

Pretty basic. Convenient location. Good staff. Toilet ran in my room all night and shower looked like needed cleaning. They use a dark grout. As noted by pic they could use new sheets. The beds were pretty uncomfortable along with the pillows. I did the job as a drive through location travelling the Baja to get home.

You can park in front of your room or they have 2nd story rooms over your parking space. Small play area for the kids. The room was nice, and big, and seemed great. But it soon became apparent it smelled of sewage, and I saw where someone had stuffed toilet paper into a hole in the bathroom wall to try and mitigate it. It's fairly new (5 years) and looks great at first, but then you start to see the problems from poor upkeep. On the plus side they have pretty nice landscaping, big showers with super strong water pressure (at least my room did), and 2 spaces to charge electric cars!

Nos encontramos hospedados en el hotel TerraSal en Guerrero Negro. Al llegar, vimos varios carteles de excursiones ofrecidas por la compañía Terra Tours. Contratamos dos: una para avistamiento de ballenas y otra para visitar la salinera. La primera experiencia fue excelente, ya que efectivamente fue realizada por Terra Tours. Sin embargo, la segunda fue la peor que hemos tenido. Resultó que no fue Terra Tours quien brindó el servicio, sino un guía independiente, aunque se nos vendió bajo el nombre de la compañía. Al expresar nuestra inconformidad, nadie se hizo responsable. Creemos que pudo haber complicidad entre la recepción del hotel y el guía, ya que el pago se realizó en efectivo cuando regresamos. El guía se identificó como Jorge Cázares (Koke) Queremos alertar sobre esta situación y sugerir al hotel que ponga mayor atención en estos temas para evitar malentendidos con los visitantes.

Llegue 3 am a a dormir después de manejar desde los angeles, dormí bien hasta las 9 am, pues las camaristas se ponen a limpiar las habitaciones con música y se oye bastante. Así que de las 9 horas que mense dormir aquí solo pude 6. No volvería a quedarme aquí. El wifi tambien es malo.

NOT recommended. The hot water lasts only a short time and the internet is terrible. I asked about both these when I arrived. Unfortunately they lied. The reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 star is that the decor of the rooms is fairly pleasant. No es recomendable. El aqua caliente dura corto tiempo y el internet es pésimo. Pregunté sobre estes cuando llegué. Lamentablemente la recepcionista no dijo la verdad. El razón para 2 estrellas en lugar de 1 estrella es que la decoración de las habitaciones es mas o menos agradable.

Habitaciones grandes y cómodas, aunque les faltan algunas amenidades básicas como bote de basura, frigobar y cafetera. El servicio fue muy bueno; el personal de recepción y del restaurante es muy amable. La ubicación es excelente y de fácil acceso, ideal si vas de paso. Además, es un lugar seguro, dormimos tranquilos y sin ningún problema.

This place is going down hill. I've stayed twice in the last few weeks. First time I learned there was no heat and they wanted extra deposit for blankets. Second time, no hot water. I went to the restaurant/kitchen to buy ice, and the two workers were sitting at a table drinking beers. In their defense, it was slow with no customers and probably only 4 rooms occupied....on a Saturday night.

The room was pretty spacious but there was no hot water to shower with and only one side of the faucet worked. In the room, there were no flies like the others said, but when we arrived it looked like the toilet was used before us and the beds had hairs/dust everywhere. In general the room is very dusty and dirty. It seems as if they only bother to clean the floors. The room doesn’t have a fridge or coffee machine, so there is no way to warm up food, unless you go and buy it. I don’t recommend that you stay here at all, but if you have to, just stay the night.

Booked a two bed room, the room has a rustic look and feel, it was clean and relatively spacious. You can park your car right in front of the room and the place was safe because it’s gated at night. The shower had hot water and it worked fine. We didn’t like the TV because it only had a limited set of channels and the remote didn’t work well. Also, the WiFi wasn’t working, we couldn’t even YouTube things let alone watch a movie.

Desafortunadamente se robaron unos artículos de mi habitación yo me percaté antes de eso que una de las de limpieza llevaba a su hijo y el niño pasaba mucho por la habitación mirando hacia dentro cuando salí unas 2hrs regresé y ya no estaban los artículos cuando pregunté se querían reír de mí los de recepción muy mala experiencia y muy buen coraje

Por fuera parecía Tener una apariencia decente, sin embargo el interior es muy decepcionante. Cuartos sucios y descuidados con un olor extraño, encontramos lo que parecía ser un short en uno de los cajones, probablemente del huésped anterior, lo que demuestra que no realizan una buena limpieza, además llegue a ver una cucaracha. El baño sucio y desagradable, el sink tenía una gotera, ensuciando el piso.

Falla del bolir (agua fría)y todo se escucha (las ventanas con vidrio sencillo ) Posiblemente ya estén mucho mejor

Very Disappointing Experience at TerraSal Hotel My boyfriend and I have been road-tripping through the Baja and yesterday we made a reservation at TerraSal Hotel. While booking, I specifically mentioned that we were traveling with a service dog. Immediately, they changed the rate and added a 450 peso “PET fee.” I explained that this is not a pet, but a service animal that is essential for my boyfriend’s emotional stability. They didn’t care. They told me we would be given the most basic room available, and that regardless of the fact that it’s a service dog with proper documentation, we still had to pay the pet fee. I asked to speak with the manager to clarify the situation, and she refused to take the call. This is not only wrong, it’s also against regulations — you cannot legally charge extra fees for service animals. We chose not to stay there because of how poorly this was handled. It was a very unfortunate and disappointing experience.

I made a phone reservation the day of arrival. This was a last minute reservation as we were making great time on the road and decided to go on past San Felipe. They said, you're in luck only 2 rooms left. I booked one. No credit card needed as is often the custom in baja, just a phone number. Upon checking in, around dusk, alas, there is no record of my request. No more rooms, amigo. We are full. And not apologetic at all. At this time 2 couples arrived from Halfway hotel saying that they were directed here because halfway was full. ( they had prepaid reservations there.) Same owners have both hotels, apparently. They were disappointed as well, but at least they got a room. I believe they got our room. Super uncool. We were lucky to find a room down the road at El Morro. Review on their google site to follow. But so far, they have been very accommodating to help us park the boat securely, and the room is clean. (el morro)
