Let’s start here… the food is GREAT, and I mean beyond exceptional!! They are always packed (which is a good thing) business is booming but the wait is usually over an hour long… but today I came in and placed my order, it was ready in 15-20 minutes surprisingly! everything is good to me I’m glad they’ve stepped it up.

This place is located in the heart of my old neighborhood and the food is good. I have tried almost every potato they serve except one and I have no doubt I’m gonna like that one as well but my favorite is the pot roast potato. Everyone has their own taste to what is good but I will definitely say check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

OMG....I just ate my way to heaven😅 Watta-A-Potato was so freaking delicious I mean the potato was soft, I t was seasoned so well!!! I purchased the potato with the lamb chops and shrimp 😋 Mmmm the meat was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. The service was impeccable, quick I have only good things to say for this establishment. I couldn't wait to go because I heard so many comments about it and how good it was "All True" definitely will be back!!!🥰

I came in yesterday because my homie posted some snaps of the food from here. Mind you I’ve wanted to check them out for a bit so I finally got to see what was to it from a friend. Man I have to say the food was on point from start to finish i definitely enjoyed it and will be back and I highly recommend for those that haven’t tried yet!

Brenda was super kind apologized for my extended wait and provided me with some amazing lemonade (don’t skip out on it 😂). When I got home I realized I was handed the wrong order and was immediately disappointed as I was not driving 45min back to the restaurant. I called Brenda and she was super apologetic and offered to makeup for the mix up. I arrived for a new order today and she did not disappoint in making sure my order was correct and tasty! Brenda thank you for your great customer service ensuring I felt heard, respected and my food came out accurate. Go check out Watta potatoe and ask for Brenda, the food is delicious 🙂

Ok ok I ride pass here all the time taking my baby to school and I said one day imma try them , well that day came & baby I was totally blown back how good the chicken Philly was… I enjoyed the juicy chicken , creamy sauce and hot steamy potatoe …

I saw some of the reviews and was skeptical to order but my son convinced me to try them out. Glad I did because my meal was very good. Yes, the potatoes were a little overcooked but it didn’t take much away from the entire meal. I ordered the lamb chop, seafood, & side of wings. Regarding the prep time, well my son was familiar & knew to order an hour ahead so we were prepared for that aspect. I do not discount the reviews of others so Based upon their reviews & my experience it can be assumed that they are hit/miss so if you try keep that in mind.

First off we know the location is not the best but we're here to rate the food The food was good I got the smothered lamb chops but the only thing about that is I wish they were just season regularly, I would have prefer that over the jerk but I do like jerk food so, the jerk is good but I would like to taste them not being jerked ,second we got a chicken wing order The chicken was season well flavor was good but the wings were little tiny wings other than that it was good we got the chicken Philly potato really good and all the food was hot made to order didn't take as long as people said it did but overall the meal was good and I will go back oh and you have the choice of a baked potato or french fries we preferred fries

I just had to try this place out. Who doesn’t love a good loaded potato. They offer way more than bacon and sour cream. I tried the Surf-n-Turf with steak and shrimp. Really good and very filling. You get your moneys worth for sure. Give them a try if you’re ever in the area.

I just had to try this place out. Who doesn’t love a good loaded potato. They offer way more than bacon and sour cream. I tried the Surf-n-Turf with steak and shrimp. Really good and very filling. You get your moneys worth for sure. Give them a try if you’re ever in the area.

Potato is huge, well worth the price. It's seasoned well and extremely full, they don't skimp. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I do wish my Potato was softer, it felt like it needef another min or 2 of cooking. But otherwise really good. Also I would order ahead, parking is a little hard.

Everything was very very tasteful & delicious. The young lady at the front counter was extremely pleasant. Barely any wait time(called in my order). My only problem is the surrounding area. That's what took away from it being a 5Star

The food was so mid. I was so hype about this place and couldn’t wait to try. I was severely disappointed the food was so mid. I didn’t really enjoy it at all. I actually didn’t finish it I threw it away. Could be what I got on ma food but I didn’t really enjoy my potato.The lady at the front was sweet but I had to wait before I got help. I think you should give it still a try because my taste buds may be different than yours!

I tried it for the first time. We ordered it on Uber eats and they gave us a 45 minute wait time. We had to park a block away and to walk through a not the best of neighborhoods! When we arrived, an hour later we entered the store and there were at least 6 customers waiting and complaining about their wait time. We went to window gave them our name and we were not greeted or anything. We were told to go down to pickup window which is a closed wooden slotted door. After standing there another 15 minutes, I saw another customer knock on the slotted door, so once she asked about her food, I caught the window opened and asked about our order. We were told by the young lady just give her a minute. After about another 5 minutes later, she opened up the window and called our name. When we got home, we opened our food to eat and it was cold but overall the food was really good and lots of it. If we would have received better customer service and if our food wasn’t cold, the parking was better and staff a little more friendlier this place would be a 5 star. The sauce that put on the potato was really good and I needed just a tad bit more. The seafood was seasoned really good ! We also ordered the wings and fries and they were really good

Not sure if it was because it was Saturday and they were extremely busy but my potato definitely did not live up to the hype. Same for all the loaded fries that we ordered. I will not be visiting again. Keith Lee gave the Philly an 8 I give mines like a 5 and that is generous

Decided to try Watta Potato after a few friends told me about it. Also seen it on social media so I went and ordered the Chicken Philly. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, it was not loaded hardly any chicken compared to some of the pictures and videos I have seen. Not sure if it was because it was Saturday and they were extremely busy but my potato definitely did not live up to the hype. Same for all the loaded fries that we ordered. I will not be visiting again. Keith Lee gave the Philly an 8 I give mines like a 5 and that is generous

I order from Door dash I had the lamb chop one and it was the worst experience ever! 67$ went in the trash. Very flavorful but yall could have kept all that hair that was in my potato. Smh!!!

How does a restaurant that specializes in potatoes run completely out of the one thing that’s keeping them in business? Make it make sense! The doors are wide open, but only to tell customers, “We ain’t got no potatoes.” 🤯 Like seriously — shut it down! WATTA shame. To make matters worse, they never answer the phone, so you can’t even place an order ahead. And when you try DoorDash or Uber Eats? Both say they’re not accepting online orders. WATTA headache. WATTA mess. WATTA fool. The whole experience screams unorganized, careless, and unbothered. If this is how they run their business, it’s no wonder customers are disappearing faster than their potatoes. Do better — or do us all a favor and close the doors.

Went on there site to place my order. For some reason it’s connected to door dash. How ever I place my order and get to the restaurant and the rude lady say we didn’t accept any orders. I showed her the receipt and that they had charged my card. She proceeded telling me she shut her iPad off at 6pm. And door dash was responsible for taking my order. Then I ask if I could just place an order and dill wit door dash later, she said no. With that being said, I will never beg nobody to take my money.
