We celebrated our wedding at MIA Oceanfront and it was truly a fantastic venue. The food was outstanding, the music and atmosphere were perfect, and the terrace where we held our ceremony left us absolutely speechless. The playroom for the kids was fantastic, especially for all my nieces and nephews. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were entertained and happy while the adults enjoyed the celebration. Everything had a very special energy that made our day unforgettable. A special thank you to Dayanara for her kindness, professionalism, and for being attentive to every detail we needed. We celebrated our daughters “Quinces” at Mia’s. The most epic event, the food was delicious, and the entertainment was amazing. They exceeded our expectations with the service. This spot has it all—great views and delicious food! If you're looking for a place with tasty dishes and a laid-back yet fancy beachfront vibe, this is it. The setting is beautiful, with live music, a kids' play area, and direct beach access for guests (non-guests can access the beach just a block away). Be sure to try their traditional bread—it's a must! We also loved the salmon steak, Greek salad, shrimp pasta, and the spinach and cheese pastry (kachapuri spinach). Everything was flavorful and well-prepared.

Update: now there’s live music and I just noticed as I was leaving there’s a playroom for kids! Will definitely be back!!!! This place is lovely… couldn’t have picked a better spot to eat dinner and watch the sunset! And they bring you a blanket when it gets chilly. Food and service was good but that view was everything. Wish they had crab legs! Also, getting here is weird if you’re walking because you need a key at the entrance, so you have to walk to the south entrance and walk up the car side “visitors” - there’s no sidewalk there though. Now that I know, I’ll definitely be back! Lovely!

⸻ I visited a restaurant in Miami called MIA Oceanfront for the first time today. I’d heard a lot of mixed reviews—some positive, some negative, and all sorts of stories about it—but honestly, none of that matters anymore. Today, we were there, and it was incredible. We ordered khinkali, beef shashlik that was absolutely divine—I haven’t had anything that delicious in about five years. It felt like I was transported to Armenia or Azerbaijan. We also had Philadelphia rolls, a sashimi appetizer platter, lamb chops, and cocktails—every single thing was out of this world. The service was impeccable, and the waiter with a beard (I didn’t catch his name) was just amazing. In short, if you’re reading reviews or hearing rumors, don’t overthink it. This is hands down the tastiest spot in Miami, from Sunny Isles to Miami Beach, Hallandale, Hollywood, and Aventura. I already want to come back tomorrow for breakfast and lunch. It was just divine. I highly recommend it to everyone!

As a guest visiting from Phoenix , I was absolutely impressed by Mia Ocean Front. Everything about this place feels elegant and elevated — from the stunning ocean view to the sophisticated atmosphere. The Spanish Octopus was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The lamb chops were equally outstanding — juicy, delicate, and full of rich taste. But what truly made my evening special was the exceptional service. Our waitress Alexandra was incredibly attentive, warm, and professional. She made the experience unforgettable. A truly remarkable restaurant that embodies class, flavor, and hospitality. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Florida.

Great spot for a date when you want to impress—romantic but still chill. They even have live music around 7 (I think), which adds to the whole atmosphere. Food was solid, drinks were on point. Just heads up: valet parking only. Overall, a classy spot I’d go back to.

What an experience. Really just did a google search and very highly reviewed. Made a reservation and there was a large party for a 50 year old bday, which took time away from our server but she was still great. A very interesting spot but the food was great.

This is a new location operating inside the hotel, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.

Location is great and the atmosphere is very nice. Staff speak both Russian and English. Food quality was good and food prices were reasonable. Alcohol and desserts were very expensive — overall, everything except the food costs significantly more. Average food pricing felt acceptable, but additional charges add up quickly. A 20% service charge was automatically added to the bill. This is not a tip, as the waitress explained that it goes toward staff paychecks. When you add the expected 15% tip on top of the service charge, the final bill becomes significantly higher than anticipated, making dinner much more expensive than expected. Information about the service charge is printed at the very bottom of the menu in extremely small, hard-to-read text, and customers are not verbally informed about it. Valet parking is available and reasonably priced at $8. Overall, this approach lacks transparency. I personally cannot tolerate this kind of practice and do not recommend this place. There are many similar restaurants in the area with reasonable prices and full transparency. PS. If you order alcohol, even not so expensive outside of restaurant, your bill easily can go up to $500 with the food for two. So when you’re ordering, try to minimize your alcohol to fit $100 per person bill

I ate here two nights in a row. The first night I was alone with my book and sat in the bar area. The food was top notch- I had the Beef Carpacio and Lobster Bisque and the Honey Cake- all excellent! Th service was slow but I was reading and wasn’t a big deal. I was the only person in the bar area and had to flag down a server anytime I needed anything vs. them checking in. The next evening I was with friends and I suggested we go back brace the food was so good and I wanted to enjoy dinner on their patio this time. The patio is perfectly situated close to the beach. We were seated right away. It took quite a bit of time to take our drink order and we ordered an appetizer right away with our drinks. Both drinks and appetizer arrived quickly. We each ordered dinner- one ordered a medium filet, one a sushi roll and I ordered the Sea Bass. The filet came out first but it look 15 minutes for the other two entrees to come out. After 10 minutes, we asked the server about it and he never returned. At 15 minutes of waiting, I flagged down the bus boy and asked for a manager and he asked what was wrong and we explained our food situation and he dashed inside and quickly returned with our food. Our drinks were continuously empty and we had to flag the server down for just water 3-4 times. I don’t mind spending money on a great meal and I don’t mind the automatic 20% gratuity. But if you have a mandatory gratuity, I expect decent service. This service was not even close to decent for this caliber of restaurant. With that being said, I’d go back because the food was excellent!

No mention of this when we made our reservation, which we made with the restaurant over the phone. Service was attentive and friendly, however very rushed. We asked for our appetizers and entrees to be staggered, however, entree came while we were still eating appetizers. Staff also seemed in a rush to clear tables. We had a 8pm reservation, by 9pm we felt they wanted us out. The food was subpar. Sushi rolls were terrible, do not recommend. Bland rice, no flavour and too much cream cheese. Not a place to order sushi. Atmosphere of this restaurant is more of a resistance banquet hall than a high end restaurant. Bathroom facility is similar to a dated high school washroom. Pricing is expensive and not worth the value. Go to Billy’s Stone Crab instead. Don’t waste your $$$$ and time.

They didn't tell us that, but it's fine. We were seated at 7:40 with one other couple on the patio. We ordered the cheese tray, salmon steak, and filet mignon. It took an hour to have the main courses brought out. When we finished, we waited 15 minutes for the server to walk past us and had to ask for the bill. Food was off the chart good. Service was terrible. The ambiance was ok.

Hostess was in no hurry to acknowledge us, food did not come out prepared as ordered, when the food was taken back to be cooked correctly our sides were not refreshed, drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) we’re never refilled, we had to ask for our bill several times, gratuity was automatically added. Overall, if the staff could get it together, the restaurant could be great as the location and quality of ingredients is good but staff seems to be the problem.

We went for dinner Sunday night with reservations. When we arrived they attempted to seat us in the middle of a wedding that was going on and then asked if we wanted to sit outside which really should have been obvious. We were asked to wait in the bar area while they cleaned some tables. It was clear they had forgotten about us so around 30 min later we finally got sat at our table. The service was exceptionally slow. The waiter was kind but overwhelmed, no refills, warm water, and so on. The food was delicious, although note they are small portions (which was not an issue). We ordered 2 milk shakes to go for dessert which for 14$ each I would expect at least to have ice cream. When the Milkshakes arrived in to go small coffee cups, they were essentially just chocolate milk and strawberry milk. I did not complain at the time because the waiter was already overwhelmed, and we were there far too long already. Lastly, it is important to note that gratuity is included in the bill even for a party of 3. The food was good minus the milkshakes, but the rest was not great at all.

This feels like exactly the kind of place that could benefit from a Gordon Ramsay-style reset. Not because it’s terrible — but because it’s completely misaligned with what it’s trying to be. The overall experience is casual-average, yet the pricing suggests upscale dining. Presentation was inconsistent, execution felt disorganized, and the menu lacks cohesion. It’s not offensive — it’s just cheap-average for the price point, which is worse. Steak was fine, filet arrived less than hot, salmon overcooked, and several dishes leaned heavily on sauces without real balance. Nothing disastrous — just not refined. Service was friendly but inexperienced, and the operation feels loosely managed. The restaurant itself could also use a deeper clean and tighter attention to detail. This is fundamentally a casual beachside spot pretending to be high-end. Prices should be at least 30% lower — and honestly, even then you’d still expect tighter execution. The ocean view is beautiful. That’s the strongest part of the experience. Verdict: Casual quality at upscale prices. Disorganized. Overvalued. Would not return.**
