Was looking for a fast place to have something quick to eat. This place hit the spot. Its a small well decorated place to enjoy. The service was great on my 2 occasions there. The tacos were delicious and the tostadas too! The guacamole is the best so delicious. The portion sizes for the price is reasonable as well. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing food every time!! My favorite is the tostados but everything is amazing. Such an authentic vibe. I do miss the days when I could order the tostados 3 different ways but I could see how that could be a logistical nightmare. The quesadilla is amazing and different, loaded with vegetables and awesome flavors. The queso fundido dip could feed a small army. The huerchos are fabulous, and similar to the tostados but served on a soft shell. I love the taste of the pink colored hot sauce they serve on the side. It's so tasty. Nice solid heat you can add to the dish without burning your tastebuds off. Love this place!
The food was so fresh and delicious. Authentic Mexican flavor is so hard to find on the island, usually have to drive to Queens. We stumbled upon this place looking for a quick dinner, a little later than usual. The staff is very kind and efficient, the food was absolutely DELISH. We had Tacos and Tostadas. the beef was flavored to perfection and was tender, the avocado was creamy and fresh. House made guacamole and salsa were absolutely delicious. overall great experience.
Nice Mexican culture cuisine experience with my family. The Loco Mariachi plate was delicious. Amazing Jalapeno mango margarita and to close a unique desert show.

We came for a light dinner on a Tuesday night, right before thanksgiving. The place was quite but we felt very comfortable. Good music and not too loud. We shared tacos and enchiladas suizas and had margaritas. Everything was super delicious! Our server was very welcoming and extremely nice! We found out later that she was also the one who cooked our food. We would definitely come back any chance we get,
Authentic Mexican food, freshly made and reasonably priced. Been going there for many years and very consistent. Not fancy, always good.
Best Mexican restaurant in the Hamptons! Great food, service and staff.
We are regulars. Carnitas hit, margs are good, my veg wife eats well. Sopa azteca always hits. We love this place
This is our go to place! Always great
I was pleasantly surprised. This little place was way above my expectations. The chips were as good as any I've had. I was with 4 people, all had different entrees and we were all very excited to find this place. Will be going back. I'll even go there for take-out.

I really enjoyed eating here. My friend and I were looking for a local place in Hampton Bays and we ended up finding El Mariachi. The atmosphere brings out a relatively modern and slightly festive Latin-American feel. We felt comfortable in our booth. We first ordered the Queso Fundido, which was super creamy and flavorful, and had the perfect chip-to-dip ratio. However, after that, things started to go slightly sour. We had to wait a full half hour for our entrees to come. The restaurant was probably slammed due to online orders on a busy weekend, even though the restaurant itself wasn't full. There were 3 different types of enchilada dishes, all with the same ingredients except the sauce (poblano, rojas, zuisas). Our waitress suggested the zuisas. It was delicious and wholesome but was begging for a wedge or two of lime on the side to brighten it. I also got an unwanted bite of chicken cartilage, which almost ruined this dish for me. Otherwise, it would've been a home run. The waitresses were courteous and very helpful (aside from forgetting to refill our water upon request on one occasion). We still wish we had gotten our entrees faster, but it's understandable given the circumstances. Overall, I believe this place deserves a second chance and I would go back, but probably when it's less busy.
Decent place for dinner. I got a veggie burrito. The tortilla, veggies, sauces and everything was great. So were the margaritas! Service was acceptable, but nothing special. Some of the items on the menu were a little pricey. I would definitely return, but not in a big rush.

The nachos were good and that was about it. The food for the most part was bland and needed a good pinch of salt. My steak was cooked a little more than I like it which would have been fine if it just had a little more flavoring. I will say it was the fist restaurant that I have been to that has cactus leaves which were interesting. They were well seasoned and cooked enough not to be moosh and still had a slight snap to them.
Visited twice on my visit to my friend's house. Service was good and attentive. Had fish tacos first visit and shrimp tacos on second visit. We also shared chips and guacamole first visit and avocado salad the second visit. The food overall was average, but I live in Colorado and have access to many great Mexican restaurants. The guacamole was the Most disappointing, it was like whipped avocado rather than a nice chunky guacamole and the chips while fresh were greasy. The margaritas were good. The fish tacos had fried fish and not much in terms of toppings, but Tons of onions and chopped cilantro and were overwhelmed by these 2 toppings. The shrimp tacos had bay shrimp and the same 2 toppings. The bay shrimp had no flavor, so I wouldn't recommend these. The fish tacos would be okay with less onion and cilantro. The avocado salad was our best choice here, a good salad with fresh lettuce, tomato, and sliced avocado with a citrusy dressing. Prices were reasonable.
They over charged for a pitcher of Sangria. just about $60.00 That certainly put a damper on our whole meal. Unbelievable that they didn't tell us or advertise the price. Other that that, the food was good. But certainly the drinks were not worth THAT price... Highway robbery
The guac was amazing but the rest of the food was just decent. Server was very polite but slow to wait on us. It took way too long for our food to come out, maybe around a half hour. Maybe your experience will be better, who knows! I'd hate to have a small business get less business because of a review but I would like them to try better. So El Mariachi, be better.

Went here tonight looking for a quick bite. We arrived around 5:30, we asked for a high chair when we walked in, the waitress didn't bring it to the table for almost 10 minutes. We ordered the guacamole and chips, it came out pretty quickly and was very good, although very small portion for the price. We ordered our entrees not long after and it took almost 40 minutes to come out, way too long for us let alone our 19M old. I had the fajitas, they were decent, chicken and steak were overcooked. My husband had the burrito, he said it was good. The waitress was not very attentive especially for how dead the restaurant was at that time. Overall just eh.

Bad service, the food took a long time to arrive at the table, when we arrived they practically forced us to sit together and when paying we were never asked if we wanted separate accounts and we had a problem paying because of that. The staff who serve the public still have a lot to learn, I worked as a waiter for 4 years and never in my life have I served customers the way they did with us. And all that without talking about the faces they made when we walked in, just because we had work clothes on. Bad, all bad.
The service staff are very rude. Hung on me multiple times when I tried to adjust an order from UberEats. I’ve asked for 1 extra cup of salsa before and the woman at the front who answers the phone with a bland “mariachi” gives me the most disgusted look like it’s really not that serious. I doubt one extra cup of sauce for two people would run up their overhead costs. High prices for mid food. Go to La Hacienda in Southampton instead 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
My recent visit to this restaurant was an absolute nightmare that left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment until I finally managed to leave, everything went wrong, primarily due to the abysmal service and the waitress who seemed completely oblivious to the needs of her customers. We desperately tried to grab the attention of our absent-minded waitress. It was as if she had completely forgotten about our table and was intentionally ignoring us. The lack of attentiveness was utterly disheartening and ruined what could have been a decent dining experience. I have dined at numerous restaurants, and I must say that this was by far the worst service I have ever encountered. The waitress's incompetence and lack of professionalism were astonishing. It is truly disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. In conclusion, I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. The terrible service, combined with the apathetic attitude of the waitress, turned what should have been an enjoyable evening into a disaster. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration and find a restaurant where the staff actually cares about their customers' experience. Attention was awful, worst attention I ever had in my life, waitress took so long, they were mean and rude, not helpful at all. Such a bad attitude. I never had such a bad service before in my life I needed to leave the restaurant. Worst experience ever.
Sign out front says OPEN. Website/Google Maps says OPEN. It's actually closed Mondays.
