Modern. Italian. Warm. Fun. I’d say those are my first 4 that come to mind. Food is the best Italian I’d say I the Pocono’s but this location is outside. Just go. Thank me later.

If I could give this place a higher review I would. The atmosphere doesn't match the area (in a good way). It's like you are away at an elegant spot. My fiance and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. This will be our new go to spot for celebrating anything or a special go out treat. You have to make a reservation to get in which stinks but its understandable because the food is just that amazing. The service was the best by far, the food quality (best Italian in the area), and the portions match or even sometimes surpass the price. 😋🥰

Little long of a wait for the food. ……… but well WELL worth it. Portions are huge and absolutely delicious. Best to make reservations and bring an appetite.

Amazing service, amazing food and amazing atmosphere! Our server was awesome, honest and did not disappoint one bit! I got the zuppe di pesce marechiari and it was filling! My wife got the ridge surf and turf and she had to save half for the next day! A++++

It was worth taking the chance on a table without reservations. It paid off. The very kind hostess shared she could seat us with a short wait. I had the Linguini Mare Mondo and my wife, the Eggplant Rollitini. The food itself was incredibly tasty. Started with a salad that came with the entree. The Caesar salad was amazing! The entries, excellent. The portions were truly beyond fair given our recent experiences going out for meals recently. It was a beautiful night in Hawley and such a positive experience, I’d go out of my way to come back to Hawley when visiting family in the area! Thank you!

We are visiting the weekend. We went here per suggestion of people who live out here. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing and Duffy our server is/was the greatest. He made us feel like family and every food suggestion he gave was on point. Great place, and great food!

The Ridge never disappoints. Every time we come, the food is amazing and the staff is on point. No need to get into much detail on this one. If you want a guaranteed great dinner with exceptional service and reasonable prices, look no further than The Ridge.

In my opinion the best Italian food in Lords Valley and Hawley! Never disappointed from excellent food to excellent service. Shout out to hard working Brianna who waited on us. Can't wait to go back!

The food here is absolutely delicious!! The staff is very friendly as well as extremely attentive. My husband said this was the best linguine and clam sauce he has ever had. I had the shrimp with pene in a basil cream sauce. All I can say is WOW! If you are in Hawley then eating dinner at The Ridge is an absolute must!! I would give this place ten stars!

Great service, food and atmosphere!! From the apps to the dessert everything was delicious! Big portions, everyone took home leftovers. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

The wait staff at the Ridge provided attentive service. The portion sizes are huge and very filling. Entrees also come with a house salad that can be upgraded to a Caesar salad along with a basket of bread and roasted garlic. I was very pleased with my eggplant parmigiana.

I am visiting friends in Lakeville, and they took me to the Ridge for dinner. I was very impressed with the food! I ordered the Beef Spiedini special, and found it to be a culinary accomplishment: the rich flavor of a slow-cooked relation but with the texture of a perfect steak. I make a dish like this at home and have no idea how they manage this combination, but I love it! The Ridge made an excellent Negroni as well.

This is our go to restaurant. Take out is just as delicious as dining in, however you absolutely miss out on the experience if you do not dine in. Food, service and the atmosphere is repeatedly wonderful. But the roasted garlic is out of this world!!! My boyfriend ordered tiramisu , that again is perfect every single time, it is his favorite. Absolutely the best dinner in Hawley! Photos are from a dinner date in winter of 2022.

We didn’t have a reservation and these guys still welcomed us while the Ravyn and Robyn turned us away . The food was absolutely delicious , generous portion and the wait staff 2nd to none . Highly recommend!

To say this place is amazingly delicious is an understatement. For starters, the restaurant felt like home, if it weren't because I personally knew I had never been there before I would have thought that I had been there a million times before and was loved like family. The staff themselves are chef kiss, such beautiful and respectful people. It was refreshing to go into a place where everyone cared about the restaurant and its hospitality. Now the food, is a gift from God himself. There was not one dish I tried that wasn't worth eating. My husband and I ate so much and didn't want to stop. We had left overs and felt obligated to take it with us, because there is no way food that delicious should be dumped. Our drinks were as delicious as the meals. If you haven't been, find a reason to go. We are not from P.A. but we will be back, specifically, to visit and dine at The Ridge Restaurant. Thank you for the beautiful service, and delicious meals.

So very pleasantly surprised! Service was terrific and atmosphere was beyond expectations and very charming. Food was phenomenal! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and make a reservation!

Second vist here and both times had terrific food. Service was very good, not a pushy place to turn over the table quickly they take time to cater to you and let you relax and enjoy your time and meal. Down side is you have to make reservations or sit at the bar if there is room.

Wow! What a little gem for the most delicious gluten free food! First time eating here and it was incredible! They have a large gluten free selection which was amazing - I got the gf chicken franchese with a side of gf pasta with alla vodka sauce. The food was fresh and delicious, waiter was super attentive and friendly! Can’t wait to return!

We made reservations, as I suggest you also do. Good house wine, and great food. Do not pass this up if you are in the area. Mine was the grouper (the one surrounded by large mussels). The other was the Veal. For what one gets is very reasonably priced. 3 of us cost $101 with three glasses of wine.

Had dinner with family and the service from Brianna was Outstanding. She was pleasant, attentive with a great personality. We had apps of eggplant rollatini and burrata both excellent. The lamb rack was also very good. Desert of pistachio cake was the best.

Excellent dining experience. This is our third time coming here and each time we have had a wonderful time. Great food, service and atmosphere! And if you get a chance to catch some live singing at the bar, you are in for a special added surprise. Love it here!

Alana was our server and she did an outstanding job! I made a few changes to my order, and the kitchen was more than accommodating. The food was delicious—huge compliments to the chef. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Since we're staying at the hotel upstairs, it was super convenient. We also grabbed the pistachio ricotta cake to go

WOW, what a meal. The one common denominator to this restaurant is everyone leaves with a "doggie bag" of great food. The bar tender knocked it out of the park with the drinks. We had the meatball appetizer, which was a meal in itself and really tasty. The meatballs were HUGE! We had the ravioli and meatball and the smoked salmon special. Both were very tasty and again HUGE portions that we will probably be eating for another two days. The atmosphere is relaxed and while the service is excellent it is relaxed and you're not rushed through your meals. The desserts looked very good too. We were too full and couldn't eat another bite. Definitely a place to eat if you're in the Hawley / Lake Wallenpaupack area. Make reservations and ask to be seated in the bar area.

Phenomenal dining experience. Earned every star. Service was delightful, food was impeccable and the atmosphere inside the historic building was phenomenal.

We ordered the eggplant solution, Cesar salad, mozzarella, penne Alla vodka and penne with sausage. You can taste the authenticity and these sauces go back a long time. Everything was phenomenal!!

We were visiting Hawley and stopped here on the spur of the moment for an early supper. So glad we did! I would give it more stars if I could. Our waitress was so sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fresh and delicious, with very generous portions. Serving the bread with roasted garlic cloves- amazing! We're very picky about our Caesar salad and this one, served family style, more than lived up to our standards. A satisfying, home-style, Italian dining experience. We can't wait to go back! (I didn't catch our waitresses name, she was really wonderful!)

A friend and I stumbled on this place on a Friday night during our yearly canoe trip in Narrowsburg NY. What an unexpected treat this was to venture out and find this. The food was excellent with great prices and to boot the bar tender and server sing...and sing good! (They sing only on Fridays I think). Make reservations and sit in the bar area. I had the surf and turf which was excellent. I only wish I didn't live 3 hours away....but I'll be back next year for sure. Thank you guys for a great experience!

First time eating there. The food was amazing. I requested that my eggplant be cooked very crispy and it was perfect. Duffy our server was amazing. It's been a long time since I've been impressed with a meal while eating out.I normally don't eat left overs or take food home but I did this time. You must try it. You will it be disappointed.

Truly a wonderful experience!! Inside the restaurant was decorated for the holidays, and it was a warm, cozy environment. All of the wait staff were professional, and very attentive. Our waiter was named Duffy, and he was fantastic! A true example of an employee that makes diners return for another wonderful experience. All of the food was delicious, and beautifully plated! Honestly…there was no room for complaint at all!! Highly recommend!!

The Ridge in Hawley is the best restaurant in the Poconos to me. My husband, Robert & I celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary on October 3rd this year at the Ridge. All of the waiters & waitresses went out of their way to accommodate & serve us. The food was and is always so delicious! We truly appreciated how the staff took their time in making sure that my husband's meal was salt free as per our request. I highly & gladly recommend dinning at the Ridge. I guarantee you'll not be disappointed!

I can not say enough good things about the Ridge. The food, the atmosphere, and service were all absolutely incredible! You really do feel like family when you go in. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! My fiancé and I make it a point to visit each time we’re in town and we’re so glad we do! Each experience has been amazing! I personally get the chicken franchise and it was delicious. It literally feeds me for two days! Highly recommend this spot.

It was a fun place. The food was good. They had a live band. Very good vibe. The penne vodka was a side portion. The stuffed mushrooms appetizer.

Food was delicious and service was great. The portions are very large. The lamb special had a very tasty sauce, a touch over salted but I still enjoyed it. The surf and turf cooked perfectly and the Caesar dressing was great. Their desserts didn’t really spark much interest from me but we tried the chocolate peanut butter cake and it was alright. Definitely a great place for dinner.

Although the hotel itself was a part of history the guest rooms should have reflected that. The walls had some resemblance but the furniture was straight out of 80’s . Updates are truly needed. You can keep a lot of the original but the interior but a lot of the interior needs to go. The bed was also a challenge. It was like a see saw. Staff was polite. The food we asked for a Cesar salad to the room and we got some lettuce huge pieces not chopped up 3 or 4 crotons and and one cup of dressing. Eggplant rollatini. Way too saucy. 2 paper plates that were way too thin. Would I go here again. It’s in a great location but I would like to try the other places in the vicinity lol

The ridge is definitely place you want to bring friends and family if you're looking to impress them at a local restaurant. Reservations are a must And you must stick to them. The cooks are amazing if you order what's on the menu but if you are looking for slight deviations from the menu they are not accommodating.

Made a reservation 3 weeks in advance. Got seated in the bar area ( my error didn’t know you had to specify dinning room) order 2 different drinks didn’t have it. Ordered lobster and crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer and the crab stuffed shrimp for dinner. When I received my appetizer, there was so much oil on the dish the mushroom so soggy the stuffing was mushy. You could not tell that there was any lobster or crab in it. It was so ground up. It was too late to cancel my dinner. My husband‘s dinner was very bland. He took his home. When my shrimp came out, I tried to take it off the dish and put it on a separate dash to get the oil out of it very wet. I ended up returning it. It was our anniversary and very disappointed. We didn’t even get Offered cake or dessert and nothing special for our anniversary will not go back again. Canceled our next reservation we had scheduled!!
