O que dizem os clientes de Jeffery's
Jeffery's is a well-regarded local bar and grill known for its friendly service and tasty food. The steak tip sandwich and prime rib night (Wednesday) are popular. Some find the exterior deceiving, as the interior is surprisingly nice. Occasional inconsistencies in food preparation are noted.

Great service. Food is always delicious. Great place to watch football
This place is outstanding. The food took a little longer but it was worth it. Definitely not "bar food." I got the italian sausage hoagie and it was excellent, and a very good size for the price too. The french fries were crispy and well seasoned. I'm definitely coming back to have more of the menu.
Went here the other day for a little get-together. We went in the afternoon on a saturday and it was pretty empty. Im sure it gets busier during dinner time. It was a small but nice place once you walk in. The service was quite good and attentive but not overbearing. There nachos were a good size and a decent price. They had a good amount of toppings on it to satisfy just about anyone looking to get a good fill. The flavors were good and satisfying. I ordered the 3 pigs and the big bad wolf sandwich. It was Pulled pork, bacon and ham on a toasted garlic butter roll. I asked for a side of potato chips. The meat was pretty plentiful but not so much that it was just falling out of the sandwich with every bit. The buttery goodness gave it a little extra savory taste in your mouth. The chips were also pretty good and well seasoned. My little gripe was that I could tell the oil was getting used a lot by how brown the chips were. But overall, my food was very good and I enjoyed it. I felt the service was very good here and the food and drinks were enjoyed by everyone that was there with me. Its a little place away from the chaos of Jefferson road in Henrietta but definitely a place to check out and enjoy. Its good to stray off the beaten path to try something new once in a while :)
Well this is my first time here with my girlfriend Maritza and first thing I noticed and liked was the bar tender/ waiter "Sean" he unlike many waiters took the time and answered our questions and wasn't in a rush or rushed us as he explained the menu and what's popular. Even giving us his opinions on the menu. Just got the food and its absolutely great. I got the chicken fingers tossed in mild buffalo and my girlfriend got chicken quesadilla and they both were awesome. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back after my first visit make sure to ask for Sean.
If you don’t know about this place you definitely should. Great food, great beer selection and great staff. Haven’t had a bad meal yet off their menu.
Stopped here on our way to Adk from Buffalo. Just a little off our path but was worth it. We had our dog and we were able to sit outside. The service was top notch. Courtney our server was great especially with our son and her suggestions on the menu with him. The food was excellent. I had the French onion soup and crab cake salad and my partner got the kung-fu chickens fingers... Super good. Will be back if we are in the area again and we highly recommend.
Last night was our club's third time to gather there. Food and service were excellent as always. We had a group of 6 and we all received excellent food! Our server was friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful night out
Great with allergies. I've eaten there multiple times and the staff is always super helpful at answering questions and I've had stuff made from scratch for me there including marinades and salad dressings without me even asking. They have cider and omission beer on the regular menu. Also dog friendly which is a nice perk. I've never had a bad experience.
Great menu, with a lot of fun flare of different flavors. We had stopped going here for a time after they were unable to offer us any solution for an inedible sandwich (bad cut of meat). Which was disappointing. But we gave it another shot and were once again blown away by the food, portions, and flavors. The wait staff is always very friendly.
Have driven by this place a trillion times and finally decided to check it out a cpl weeks ago,was so good we went back last Friday to try the fish frys. Both the pizza and the fish frys were one of the best we've ever had and will be frequenting it more often. Love that the patio is pup friendly, even having their own choices on the menu. Can't wait for warmer weather. SN: the brusheta was to die for. Next time we go I'm getting an order of that to go. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.
Had prime rib. The wheat beer was great. The price was nice and had homemade potato chips.
Love this gem of a restaurant the staff are friendly welcoming and attentive. The food is delicious ...the specials are above average and unique....the pumpkin wing sauce made on sight is a must try....and the fact I have the opportunity to dine with my dog if I so choose is the highlight of my dinning experience. If you haven't tried it...you really should ....
All four of us had different meals and we were all very pleased with the food and service.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Super friendly service. Definitely worth a visit. Great sandwiches, burgers, appetizers and more. You won't be disappointed. Two thumbs up.
We were driving through the South Henrietta area and ready for some tasty food, so a quick Google search brought up the Fireside Grill & Sports Bar with top ratings, so we stopped in. The restaurant immediately gave us a positive vibe with friendly accommodating staff. We sat at a high top table in the bar area where the gang who were belly up to the bar were having fun together. The main restaurant is large and also nicely decorated. We ordered two of the many flavored options of wings, and they were large and perfectly cooked. We also ordered two different gluten-free cauliflower crust pizzas, each with delicious sauces and toppings. We will definitely return to further explore the menu options!
First time dining here. I cannot even begin to explain how pleased I was with the service and food. John was super attentive and the food was just so satisfying. I highly recommend.
First time taking the big dogs on a road trip. I found this on google and it said dog friendly. This was the best place to stop and eat, and stretch our legs. Every employee, came outside to visit the dogs. Their food was well prepared, hot, and we were all very happy. Wonderful server.
We wanted somewhere special to go after my sister's funeral and we knew she enjoyed fireside. We walked in and Dani was so sweet, so personal, so accommodating that I would go again, just to have her as a server. She took such good care of my Mom throughout dinner. Me and another person split the adult grilled cheese and the the turkey pesto wrap. The wrap was good and the grilled cheese was supurb!!! I just got chips with the meal, which worked out cause the table split an appetizer of chips and dip and there was dip left over to use. They gave a good portion. The person I shared with got Mac and Cheese and they said it was okay. I also got a cup of the chicken and rice and it was amazing!!! Unfortunately the soup was a special for the day. Overall, I will for sure be coming back and definitely asking for Dani.
A great spot for everyone. It has just about anything you want on the menu , with very good rotating specials daily. They have a decent draft list and cocktail menus. Service is outstanding. On previous visits the staff has been great. On the last visit our server was truly amazing and consistently went above and beyond for our group. Just a good time, everytime.
Met my uncle and cousins for lunch at a mutually convenient location (Auburn, Webster and Buffalo) and was impressed by the newness of the decor, the attentive, fast and friendly service, and the food was fantastic! Great menu, generous portions and solid prices. Highly recommend.
Came here on a Wednesday and experienced amazingly great food and ever changing specials! Bartender was more than just your average worker. She was friendly and personable.... and to be honest, she was PRETTY awesome! 😃🤌👍 I gotta say... today was a good day 😎🦹🏻♂️
Although short-staffed, our waitress on Saturday night was attentive and quick. Nachos and wings were tasty. I wasn't a fan of the pizza but it's still good pizza (everyone else at my table enjoyed it). Great beer choices!
Burger awesomeness! Server super great!
Love this place! Just traveled through town after a big hiking expedition. Had a full menu of lots of options, a full bar, great service, an outdoor area. Thanks to our server for great interaction. Would love to come through again!
We have lived a mile away for years and finally gave it a try and boy were we missing out! This place is great, the food was delicious, portions are large and they have a nice variety of beers on tap. The bar tender from Texas is awesome! Will definitely be back
This is hands down one of the best restaurants and bars of the Rochester area, and the prices are surprisingly low. We came to Fireside on a recommendation and were blown away at the quality of the food, the very nice service (Thank you Regan and Betsy!) and by how lively with locals the bar is. The owner recommended that we order from the specials menu, and both of our plates were fantastic. On the second and third visit we ordered the Buffalo wings, and they didn't disappoint, I can't remember having better, and I judge a restaurant by their wings ;) We asked to meet the chef and he was kind enough to come out and meet us. Thank you Marty! You run a fantastic restaurant and have a great menu! We highly recommend Fireside for a nice meal out, it's bar for a drink, and it makes an excellent place for a date. We are very glad to have found it!
Better food than any other eateries in Rochester and surrounding towns. Food is fresh, made to order, perfectly cooked and decent portions. Great wait staff very friendly and accommodating. Prices are extremely reasonable. Love this place.
I have never had a bad experience here. The food is always delicious. I'm never disappointed. Employees are personable and knowledgeable. The ambiance is perfect. My only complaint? I live too far away, so I do not get to enjoy it as much as I would like.
This time I invited my family here on Mother's Day. Was a wonderful day!! All the other restaurants were full. We made reservations here, Everything was Soo fresh and Delicious 😋🤤🤤🤤.They have high, high chairs to reach counter top height with adults, as well as table height. Talk people and tell people will feel comfortable.... I had the street and turf on lettuce beds, since I'm GF and dairy Free. I live just around the corner, and I'm so proud to leave this restaurant here. Amanda and Her mom, Joyze, was a pleasure to have as our waitress'. They work so hard. They're daughter is the chef!!! Can't wait to meet the CHEF!! I had my 2 granddaughters there too. If you ask they can make anything for the kids too. An amazing Mac-n-cheeze!!!💜🌺🌺🌺🌺💜🤤😋
Food was delicious. Our server, Andy, was welcoming and attentive. Pizza was amazing. 6/21/2019 - Return visit for LAX tournament. Same great food and laid back atmosphere. Or server, Sandy, was amazing and so friendly. I wish I lived closer, I would be here all the time. Can't say enough about how welcoming they are and how good the food is.
Nice cozy restaurant and bar. We went with a large group for early Sunday lunch. Everyone's food was very good , large servings excellently presented and served. Waitress was friendly and very accommodating for us. We ordered pizza, wings, pasta, burgers and they were all satisfying. I had the flat iron steak special which was a magnificent chunk of beef cooked to rare perfection with a good char. Fresh vegetables sides also cooked perfectly ,served with garlicky mashed potatoes. Yum. Good craft beer selection and decent wine list. It was a cold grey day, I wish we had asked the fire place be turned on that would have made it perfect.
Very good selection waitress was awesome Food was awesome Will definitely go back
We were in there today, met some nice people an had lunch,so dahlish,Christine is great, she is very good at what she does,we will be back soon.🥰
Stopped in for Monday late lunch and am SO glad we tried this place out! The food was awesome, with big portions and obvious care in preparation. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in explaining the menu! Just an all around great experience. 😀 We will definitely be back soon to try their Fish Fry!
We met a friend for an early dinner who was visiting from out of town her pick. It was very good and our server was amazing!
A group of girls stopped for lunch and were very pleased! As well as happy and full bellies.
This place is amazing!! I highly recommend to anyone in the area. The food is absolutely amazing every time and Danny was our server on both occasions that we went. She’s incredible to say the least! Super friendly, helpful and just overall a fun server to have. We love it here!! Definitely go.
The wait staff really hustles and you get served quickly. The food was delicious and they offer a large selection of adult beverages. Definitely worth checking out! 👍👍
Great food. Friendly staff. Good bourbon selecting
Hello it’s your friendly neighborhood nurse here! I’ve been to Fireside twice now and each time came with a group of 6-7 people. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating of our group and provided good service throughout our visit. The two sandwiches I had here were great. Service was a bit slow overall but staff shortages will do that. I do like how the restaurant had daily specials and unique meals to offer. I recommend this place and will definitely return!
Was surprised by this place. Expected typical bar food and got upscale. Regular menu doesn’t tell the story here. Was planning on a burger until I was handled the specials. I had the oven roasted grouper with tomatoes and garlic with a lemon sauce over wild rice. It was delicious. Only advice would be there was too much wild rice. Could be cut in half. I also had the chips and dip which is house made chips and house made french onion dip. This stuff was amazing and cheap at $7 for about a cup of dip and equivalent to a full bag of chips. So this is a bar so expected typical bar cleanliness. Not here. This place was spotless and seemed that all employees were respected and cared to keep it that way. I highly recommend!
I have never had bad service or bad food at the Fireside. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is amazing. I highly recommend!
The food was very good, and arrived quicker than I would have anticipated. They were not Packed, but they had probably half or more of their available seats full. I had a very slight problem, but they were able to solve it quickly, and the server was actually the one who noticed it.
I’ve been coming here for almost two years now. No matter who our server/bartender is, it is always a pleasant experience. Food is great; we’ve done wings, pizza, any of the Asian options to the fire cracker burger. All is good! But with all that being said; Amanda 100% of the time always makes us feel so welcomed and gives us the best service. As someone in the industry business; it’s nice that this place is open when I get out of work and still severing food!
Excellent place to meet friends and enjoy a meal. Spinach Artichoke dip was amazing. Nice room for larger parties, too.
Had lunch with some co-workers here to celebrate the holidays. It was not crowded. After tasting the food that surprises me because my chili seared steak salad was excellent. And everyone else commented that their food was also very good. The steak was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh, crisp, and generous. The wait staff we had was efficient, courteous, and the food arrived correct for everyone in our group of nine. I would definitely go here again and likely will soon. 👍👍
We had the best lunch today! We met friends that we hadn't seen in 17 years and we were able to visit and catch up for over 2 hours and never once did we feel the need to hurry out. Our meals were really tasty and our server/manager - Eloise? - was a super spirited and fun person. Wish we lived in the area so we could come back, but we live in WA state. Thanks for a great meal and service!
Was greeted by 2 lovely hostesses as we entered this unpretentious building and immediately had a WOW moment! It was like walking thru a portal to a wonderous magical world!! The dinning area was completely upscale while the bar area was cozy and rustic in all the right ways. Lotsa flat-screens for the sport enthusiast and bartenders were efficient and friendly. Food was prepared with a flair and was delicious. This establishment would do well competing with any of those upper-end restaurants on East Ave. or Alexander St. yet it is located out in the rural farmland just south of the NY State thruway. A tucked away hidden gem with an obvious loyal clientele.
We had a party of 10 for my Moms birthday and I have to say EVERYTHING was fabulous!! Forgive me, I forgot the waitresses names but they were great, very accommodating and always checking on us. The food was delicious and everyone was very happy, especially the birthday girl. Thank you for making our day so perfect!!!
I'm from Syracuse, friend from Buffalo. We met here. Outside needs to be painted with a warmer, modern grey. We thought it was a dive until we entered. The dining room is gorgeous!! The bar cozy. The food & service excellent! Thankyou for a wonderful afternoon ❣️
Stopped on our way through the area and we’re so glad we did! Don’t let a full parking lot fool you- the place is huge. We were seated immediately and service was attentive throughout. The food was excellent and portion sizes were generous. We had pretzel bites appetizer-recommend if you like pretzels. We had fish fry and hot beef sandwich. Both were excellent meals!
Loved our sandwiches. Stopped in for lunch. My hot chicken sandwich was wonderful, the chicken breast was perfect - juicy & hot, not overcooked like chicken breast can be. Love the homemade pickles! The ciabatta roll is soft and perfect for a sandwich. Partner had a chicken parm sub and it was generous, he also thought the roll was very fresh and tasty.
Went here for dinner with some friends and the food was good. We went here on a Saturday night and didn’t even have a wait which was nice. The food was good too. I ordered a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and it was very good. The fries were crispy and chicken wrap was well prepared. I would definitely go back again.
We took advantage of the amazing weather and made an outdoor reservation for our group. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the patio was already full due to a mix-up on the restaurant's end. However, the manager handled the situation incredibly well. She apologized for the confusion and quickly made things right. After a short 10 mins wait and some arrangement, we were seated comfortably. Great job Manager and FIRESIDE! Our server was clearly busy and seemed a bit overwhelmed as there were multiple large groups but she still did an outstanding job. She handled everything with patience and efficiency - definitely deserves 5 stars for her service. We were very happy with our food - generous portions and everything tasted delicious. One of our friends accidently ordered her burger medium rare instead of medium well. Eventhough it was her mistake, the staff replaced it without hesitation and with a smile. Excellent good, GREAT service and a team that truly cares about the customer experience. Highly recommend!
The best steak tip sandwich anywhere. The steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. Every bite went right through with no effort. The peppers were perfect thickness and not mushy. The roll had the perfect chew. House chips were crispy and not over salted. The chix buffalo wrap was also tasty, lots of chic. Good size servings and not over priced. Great selection of beers on tap. The mango wheat beer was excellent. Service was pleasant and quick, thanks Amber. Go and try the steak sandwich you'll be back, I know I will. And I did go back - same great steak sandwich.
1st time at Fireside Grill! Met 5 other family members. We had a great experience. Our waitress, Lily, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Another waitress, Joyce also helped out quite a bit and was extremely friendly, making the whole visit even better. The food was delicious, fresh, and came out hot, just the way it should. This is definitely the kind of place where you can laugh out loud, relax, enjoy great service, and share a meal with family or friends. Whether you’re looking for a spot to catch up with loved ones or just hang out for a while, Fireside Grill is the perfect choice. :)
Just a great local neighborhood bar & grill. I can't say I've sat in the restaurant portion, but the bar portion is always nice. Service is great, small but great draft beer selection, and the food is always stellar. I always love to look at the specials because there's some really good stuff in there. Regardless I highly recommend fireside, definitely worth the drive!
A happy accident. We were trying to get to a wood fire pizza place but maps led us to you. This was hands down the best oops. Todd our waiter was amazing! They were friendly, didn't leave us thirsty, and made sure we had everything we needed right up to us leaving. Everything was made with love and it was delicious. The homemade chips and French onion dip appetizer were so well done we got more to go home. We also tried an extra cheese pizza and their bang bang shrimp wrap special with a small garden salad with ranch. All fantastic and we can't wait to go back to try even more of their food.
You would never know it from the outside, as it almost looks like an other country bar but the inside is very nice and roomy. The staff is super friendly and nice. The food was excellent and the menu has a great variety of food. Much better than your average bar. The beers on tab are decent with a good mix domestic and micro brews. The downside, the Parking lot is HORRIBLE. Huge pot holes all over
Had hamburger, tasted like it was from a steam table to keep it warm, not freshly fried / cooked. A fast food burger would have been juicier.
My first time here and i enjoyed it immensely as did my friends. Food was great! Service was excellent as well. I'll be back to explore more menu options
Very good local little hidden gem. Food is very good and the bartenders and servers are very friendly. Smaller place, so only ever a very few service staff working, so if it’s busy at all, service is obviously a little slower.
I didn't dine in, as I was working for a residential house. All but one ordered take out. Parking is good but nearly filled up on a Friday night, but I suppose one could park on the adjacent street. The service was great, prompt and courteous. Place looked visually pleasant and dining room lit well. The food was great!!! Absolutely the Black and Bleu burger was pink in the middle!!! The pizza with steak and Bleu cheese and had a balsamic glaze! Who else has that? Um, no one. If someone else does that let me know. Prices were very fair. But, I noticed a one dollar fee for take out. What? Never heard of that, it sent me scurrying for extra change!! Not cool. 😟 When people know from the menu the prices; they expect to know the final bill. Probably not coming for take out at this place, I might come for dinner. The parking into building is somewhat accessible, by that I mean there is not a button, you can easily get through the door easily as entry is all flat. I forgot to mention, with the selections you may make a menu item minus meat. Ask if an ingredient can be removed due to allergies, They might be able to do it.
We went there on a Friday night for a fish fry. The fish hangs off both sides of the plate. The beer batter is thick and crispy, the fish is tender and flaky. The french fries were hot and crisp, the cole slaw had just the right amount of spice. Our server was attentive to our needs, and pleasant. The prices are reasonable. The only reason it misses the 5 star rating is the noise level, as the room is all hard surfaces.
Food was good. They had a soup that had steak in it. I would call it creamy steak & cheese chowder. It was very good. The service was good, but a bit slow only because it was early New Year's Eve and they were very busy. The atmosphere was loud-again they were busy. I had left a hooded zip up sweatshirt there. Went back 3 days later barely started to ask about it and our Waitress from 3 days prior on New Year's Eve saw me, walked right over recognizing me and knew what I was there for. I would tend to call that somewhat of a personalized service. I would never expected for her to remember me in connection with my hoodie. Anyways...yes I would go back. Oddly enough we are from roughly 2 hours south of the Restaurant, but have been spending a lot of time in Rochester of late. I would return there if the opportunity presented itself.
Comfortable sports bar atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly.and attentive! We enjoyed our food too. I'd recommend!
Passing through New York, found the Fireside Grill & Sports Bar. What a great find. Easy access from I90. Cute decor friendly staff. Eclectic menu choices. Ordered Cuban sandwich, Blue Burger, Fireside Signature Bistro Tenderloin sandwich and side salad. This is a hidden gem in the making. House made chips & dressings. Definitely recommend seeking out this local eatery. 😃🤩👍
I haven't been there since the esteemed FDR restaurant occupied the place. Food was excellent but not cooked to how I ordered it. The wait staff was good but didn't return enough. I understand table turnover is important, but we were spending money. Their chips were fantastic as were the homemade deserts. It was very loud, difficult to hear others in my party, lots of echo. The bar was doing well. We made a reservation which was a good idea.
We went late on a Friday to the dining area. We got sat right away and our server was great. They had a good seasonal drink menu. We got nachos and spinach artichoke dip. We ate them before I remembered to take pics. The spinach artichoke dip was a blended consistency it did not have chunks of artichokes or spinach. The nachos were good but the home salsa was like a container of tomatoes and oil. My husband got the loaded pork chop special and said it was delish even though his mashed potatoes were cold. I got the chili seared steak salad which was good. The steak chunks were big and cooked perfectly. The tomato slices were the size of an apple slice but nothing the huge steak knife they gave me couldn’t fix. My friend got the quinoa salad with mani mahi mahi and said it was great! We like this local spot and will be back.
We came in around noon a Saturday ago and were seated by the door. The place was very busy. So after sitting for 10 minutes, I walked to the bar to get a couple of drinks. Even getting a couple of drinks at the bar was a long wait. After getting back to the table, I was told that the waitress left a couple of menus, apologized, and said she'd be back shortly. We looked at the menus, chose what we were going to eat, and eventually saw the waitress again. After ordering, and after another 10 minutes of not seeing the waitress, I made myself back to the bar. After waiting at the bar again for the drinks, for what seemed like a lifetime, I went back to the table to still find no food. Ugh. When the food showed, the waitress again apologized, and seemed semi annoyed that I had gotten the drinks at the bar. Our food was pretty good, nothing spectacular. I was generous with the 3 stars.
Grilled Buffalo wings were delicious, and they probably have some of the most perfect cole slaw I've eaten! Came around lunch, but it wasn't too crowded. Service was nice.
Would have given a better score but it took 40 minutes to get our lunch. Staff was pleasant and food was good, just to long of a wait.
Turkey Ruben was OK, would have been 10 times better if they had used real turkey or at least foil breast instead of very average deli sliced breast. Also the French onion soup was very bland with not much flavor. Service was good by Sabrina.
My first time there omg please if you go here don't go at lunch. Me and 2 others went for lunch foods great. The noise in there we couldn't even hear other talk. Our server was great. Between 11:00 & 1:00 is horrible if you want to have a conversation.
Usually love the food here and the quesadilla especially. It was not so great tonight unfortunately as my quesadilla was burnt on the outside. I didn’t say anything and while our server was friendly she never asked how it was. Maybe she was afraid to as it clearly looked burnt when it was delivered. The drink and dessert however were very good and my husband enjoyed his prime rib sandwich.
My family and I always enjoy stopping at the Fireside Grill & Sports Bar. The menu selections are wide-ranging—something for everyone! The food is always very good and servers are friendly and welcoming . On our last visit we were immediately greeted by a man for seating. I asked if it would be possible to sit in the back room and he swiftly and harshly replied ‘NO.’ We were quite taken aback by his attitude and a server standing nearby apparently was also quite stunned by his rudeness and she did her best to smooth it over. We said that was no problem and seating anywhere would be just fine. But then he went on with…there’s a reserved party in the back and they have paid for that room! Oh, my—we honestly needed no explanation. As senior citizens we have always felt The Fireside Grill was a welcoming environment. We wondered if his demeanor would have been different to a younger group or a larger group. It was just difficult for us to understand his ill-mannered behavior toward us. We had a wonderful server (did not catch her name but she had a lovely accent), who was very kind, pleasant and efficient. Perhaps in the future a more polite and very simple answer to our question would be, ‘I’m sorry the backroom is unavailable today.’ A little decorum goes a long way.
We had an amicable experience. Nothing wowed us but nothing was like oh this is amazing. If you are looking for slightly above average bar food and a cold beer it’s a good spot. Chicken Caesar Wrap: 3/5 - lettuce was soggy but chicken was good Italian Sausage Hoagie: 4/5 - solid Fries: 3/5 Onion Rings: 5/5
Multitasking isn't for everyone! I have been here a couple of times, but the bar tender on duty the last time I was there ( 6/1) needs improvement. I suspect there might have been a change of shift or some sort of handover, however, the guest experience I had left nothing to desire. There's always room for improvement. Feedback: 1. Bag your guests' takeout orders. If not sure, ask. Guests pay for quality service. Go above and beyond! 2. As a bar tender, stay calm and observe your guests. Possibly, ask if they needed anything especially when you see them with an empty glass. It shows you care, shows you are observant, shows you are aware and present, and it might just make them go for one more glass or two. That's increased revenue for the establishment, plus positive guest experience. This isn't to discount this establishment, rather to inspire employees to not get complacent while on duty. Peace and Love🙏🏿
Service was OK very nice server but a little slow in getting our drink order right and taking our order. She looked busy. The food the calamari was one of the worst ones I have ever had. The batter was OK but it was served with Kalamata olives with hot peppers in a very a watery soup mixture. This made an interesting taste but a very soggy crust that should be crunchy on calamari. There was more wet breading on my plate than anything. One of us ordered the chicken entree special. There was so much sauce on 2 types of starches potatoes and pasta. The sauce was a cheddar sauce that was topped with chicken. There was to much sauce to negate a good and appetizing chicken to sauce to starches ratio. The chips I had on my Cuban sandwich was good. The Cuban was good. I actually thought I was in an episode of Gordan Ramsey kitchen takeover. Very loud atmosphere. Would not really recommend or go back.
While waiting for food I ordered by phone, I had an uncomfortable experience. I was near a group of customers who were making racist comments about people who don't look like them or aren't from this country. This kind of behavior creates a hostile environment and made my visit unpleasant. Restaurants should be places where everyone feels welcome and respected. I hope management takes situations like seriously and work to ensure a respectful atmosphere for ALL guests. Be better.
Went for dinner on Sunday 12/12 with my wife. Very disappointed!!! I'll give the highlights. The waitress was great. We ordered two different beers. Both were sold out, so no beer. We ordered burgers medium rare. We waited 25 minutes for the burgers even though there were only two other couples in the whole place. The burgers were welldone(burnt) I had mac&cheese as a side. That was cold. I tried to eat the burger in between swatting away the fruit flies buzzing around. Asked to see the manager. His opening line to me was "What's your problem?" REALLY! Complained about the burgers being overcooked. Manager said "Oh, there's a little red in there." Complained about the mac&cheese being cold. Manager's answer "oh, I guess it wasn't in the oven long enough" Complained about the fruit flies. Manager's answer " Yeah well, we have a problem with them this time of year." This guy has no business being called a manager! I've had good meals here, before, but I will never, never go here on a Sunday.
Ordered a bowl of French onion for pick up. 12$ for a small cup of soup was the absolute worst soup. Extremely salty and sweet as if to cover up the iver salting(?),with a bread croutonthat took up the whole cup and was so chewy it was uneatable. Extremely disappointed ☹️
Pros: we were seated right away (perhaps because it was slow- a Tuesday night and 13°), the waitress was friendly, the place is clean and nice. The molten lava cake was good. Cons: * It’s called Fireside Grill, but it was chilly inside! The fire wasn’t lit, despite the fact it was c-c-c-cold outside! * The iced tea was weak, and tho they supposedly changed the mix or whatever, it still tasted watery. * The “roaster sized wings” were small; and instead of dipping the wings in sauce, the bbq ones just had the sauce spread on top. The extra hot ones were pretty much flavorless. * The other appetizer we got, nachos with meat, cheese, etc., had an odd flavor. * the 3 of us all got different burgers, which were not very flavorful. Burgers are served with a generous portion of homemade chips- which were ok- but not as good as if the burger came with fries. Those are $3 extra… they should be included at the price you pay for the burgers. All in all it cost $127 (ouch!) for the 3 of us to eat food we didn’t enjoy. Especially disappointing because this was a birthday celebration. We won’t be back. (I gave a one-star rating because, although the staff and atmosphere were pleasant, the whole reason you go out to eat is the food!)
Soon as me and my crew walked the waitress John started complaining that there was 9 of us. Mind you the dinning room was 80% empty and was not busy at all. Stayed very dead the whole time we were there. So Then I order my food. And didn’t even get it because John forgot to put it in and comes up to the table and said “what flavor wings did you get?” When I didn’t even order wings, I ordered Swiss burger. So i decided to deal with Amanda behind the bar and she was absolutely amazing and very helpful. I hope they figure something out with John.
