It was good. You can eat inside. There were many cars in the drive through so it did take a while for our food to come but given the circumstances it was fine overall. Would eat there again.

Awesome place to go eat on Sunday after church went in today 9/3/23 and got the wing lovers special and it tasted awesome 👌 the young man in the front Gabriel was super nice and fast the cook David gave me some really tasty wings 100 percent recommended!!!

Excellent food. The 3 star rating is due to getting only 4, I repeat 4 small chips in the bag... drink was full of ice, very little coke. Not OK.

The workers were very helpful as well as kind. There was very little wait time for the food to be ready which was suprising considering we were a large group. Definitely makes me want to go back again.

This is the best el pollo loco in the HD, well in my opinion atleast. 90% of the time customer service great. And cant beat the coupon deals! (Ask for some at counter) $20= 12 piece leg n thigh and 3 large sides! Enough for 4-5 people.

God, they have some good food. I mostly go for the chicken bowl cause that's my favorite food there. I say it has some good wifi, the seats are comfortable, a little crowded though. Still a good place though

Wow! Hope the same workers are there when we return again. It's been over 5 years I stopped going to Pollo Loco. The flavor was just never like I remember the first 10 years. This place took me back to when the chicken at Pollo Loco was so tasty and crispy. Even the salad was yummy. We even used a coupon that made it all even tastier. 😁👍

Out of all the chicken restaurant I have been to this is by far the best one! The chicken is fresh and was seasoned well! Also they were so precise with my ordered that by the time I got to the window they repeated my whole order and was correct. I was in an out of the drive thru in 5 mins the shorts time ever. The assistant manager was very nice as well she deserves a raise!!!!! The restaurant is nice and cool during the summer so it’s a great place to be!

I love el pollo loco but every time I go there they could never get my order right. I asked for 4 salsas and 4 avocado salsa when I checked I only got 4 containers. Don't order the salad with the quesadilla it was really bad. The tortilla was hard and cold not good at all. I will not order that again. The service is good I just wished they would listen when you order.

Best pollo loco in town. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Every time I go, the food is warm and taste fresh! I love how they have healthier options and Xóchitl always accommodate any request I have. She is always friendly and professional. Thankfully I live super close to this location but I would most certainly drive across town to go here.

I love that they have a kids menu with healthy options for my kiddo. My kiddo loves the chicken legs and it's great how they have such a large drink for a kids menu. We frequent here often for food. Great for family meals!

Food was OK. Ordered double chicken bowl. Some of the chicken was dry, but for the most part, the food was good. Service was extremely fast. Most of the tables needed to be cleaned.

I haven't been to a Pollo Loco in years but I had a coupon so, I decided to try this one in Hesperia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My order was fast and they especially got it right. Chicken was fresh and overall very good. I will go back to this particular Pollo Loco.

Crowded or not. Uriel at the front was the GOAT, I got my food in 3 minutes and he was very patient. I had to verify and call my family for some to-go family meal, and he waited until I gave a direct answer for the order. Very good customer service, and you could tell they work putting in some work 🫡

The food is not expensive. The food is 50% healthy and 50% severely unhealthy (enriched flour/ fried/ heavily processed) That's good or bad depending on how you look at it. I have manipulated this menu many times to make my options healthier with great success! CHECK NUTRITION FACTS!

Good food, quick service. Just make sure your entire order is in place. If you get family packs it can't be alot of food to keep track of and some items might be missing. But besides the fact. Good service overall

Enjoyed the family meal for Mother’s Day. Hadn’t had it in a couple of months, was good. Rice was a bit undercooked, otherwise everything else was good as was our lunch.

First time visiting this particular site. The associate was very polite and friendly got the order correct. But my thing is that for the first time in over 10 years this site had very good tasting meals the other sites that I've been to usually burnt and dry (been told that's the it is to be cooked). If I have to get El Pollo again this site is the one that I will come to period.

Picked up a catering order for 110 people. Was a bit puzzled by the packaging - all of the sides were in multiple individual containers. I had to find a larger container and dump them all into for serving. Food was good, though.

I normally don't eat fast food, but I hadn't had breakfast or lunch and needed to get something in my stomach. This place was close by. Corner location at a busy intersection. Easy to get into the parking lot as it is shared with a major brand grocery chain. The drive through was busy, but the inside dining was not crowded. No waiting to order. Food was ready quickly. The Ranchero burrito was huge. The meal came with some chips. There was a salsa bar off to the side where you help yourself to hot sauces and salsa. The place was clean. A good dining experience.

The menu offered and the food at El Pollo Loco is good and healthy. This particular restaurant is a good environment. It is usually clean and well maintained. The value of the food is good for having a menu with many healthy options. The food is served fresh and a nice condiments bar can compliment most meals.

Telling the drive through worker thank you a few times and they don’t even say anything back is definitely Rude. Cooking the food would be a better position. ?

Usually our chicken is good. It was either overcooked or was sitting for a while. It was very dry. They forgot to give us salad dressing which is one of our favorite things at El Pollo.

Service line needs organization. I was there for mobile order pick up and the store clerks allowed two other mobile order pickups to skip ahead of me they need separate lines and they need to go in order but instead they're allowing anyone to walk up to the counter with a cell phone in their hand that's not good organization and very disarray

Second time I go in before I go to work and ask for a salad with NO DAIRY and they keep forgetting. I don’t think they understand how much of an inconvenience it is to be lactose Intolerant and get dairy on your food on your way to work... I can not believe the unprofessional attitude here.

My food was cold and soggy. The customer service worker was rude and seemed bothered to help me. I don't know why I gave it another chance. This happens way to often at this location. So last visit for me. Pollo Brothers down the street is friendly and always gets your order correct.

Good food, and usually good service. However, this visit, they kept messing up the orders and waited there for about 20 minutes for 2 BRC burritos. Update: Came back and they took an hour to fill another order and had only new people in there with no idea of how to use the mobile app.

My husband and I both had the four piece meal as we had missed lunch and so were very hungry. It did have four pieces but included a wing and a drumstick. We usually share one breast of chicken at home and I think we each have more meat than we did at El Pollo Loco. Not the feast we were expecting. At at nearly $30 for the two of us, it definitely wasn't good value.

When it's good it's good, but a little too often I end up with a bowl full of burnt ends or dry rubbery chunks of chicken that were on the stovetop too long. The burnt chunks especially suck because they're practically inedible *and* a carcinogen. I love this place but I really wish they'd be a little more judicious about cutting out the burnt/overcooked bits of chicken.

Did not get the dipping sauce for the berria taco that was ordered and the gal at the drive thru was not very polite. This usually is a good place to go but recently it has gone down in service and consistancy for the food.. hope it improves..

Lady taking my order didn't know how to work the register. I'm second in line and they start my order but finish it almost 20 minutes later after 3 customers behind come and go . My burrito was 70 percent rice , 15 percent chicken and 15 percent beans . I know its fast food and shouldn't expect much, especially with restaurants struggling to find workers, but this place was awful!

Went last night spent 68.57. Then i get a bank alert they charged my card a 2nd time for 68.57 . Called up as soon as i seen it . Manager told me to go in the morning and speak to manager . Manager told me its not them its the system that charges double on bigger purchases to make sure the first one gets paid... DOES THIS SOUND RIGHT ??? What if i only had 68. Bucks to feed my family so i would either have to pay for an overdraft fee or would it have declined cause it charges twice the total . They just stole 68 bucks from me without me knowing but if it was me i would be in jail for fraud.

Every single time I come to this location I ask for lemon and onions in the drive thru. Its not difficult. They say ok when I ask for it so I don't get whats so hard about putting it in the bag. Am I even being listened to when I ask? Next time I'm going to sit in the drive thru I don't care how long it takes i don't care about the time I will not move my car until I see what I asked for in my bag. This is getting very ridiculous now im home with plain tacos and no flavor.

I got the double chicken avocado salad and the lettuce is just bad, old I think, it has a funky taste and the chicken is so so so very dry. If you have the word chicken in your name, it doesn't matter what language it is, it should be perfect or damn close to it. This was just gross. I normally get better food from here but it has been slipping for a while now and I am not sure if I will be back.

8:45PM on a Saturday, and NO CHICKEN! Seriously NO CHICKEN. Stater Brothers had chicken, hot and freshly cooked. But the last thing I wanted to do was park, and get out the truck to go into Staters for a broiled chicken on a Crowded, Busy, 2 Checker Saturday night after working the entire day on my normal 1st day off, then fighting the freeway.

I was disappointed to see no tortillas included in my meal. I called and all she could say is sorry. Not helping my meal. . Becareful when you pick up your food. Too far to go back for tortillas and to add no utensils, no napkins. Nothing. No attention to the order.. its like she just threw food at me.

I love the restaurant and 5he food but the workers on the other are not too kind. And I felt like it was because I am a black. I was ignored about questions she should have stated in the very beginning. I felt a little bad because she didn't do the car in front of me that way. & then when I said something she then said it was because she couldn't hear what I said, well if she couldn't hear me then she would have not answered any of my questions instead of 1. I hate that the high desert is the way it is because it is a beautiful place to stay. Not happy about this..

Have you ever been so disappointed with the service till were you buy your food and don't want to eat it? I have, I bought a double chicken tostada bowl and asked for no source cream,I get to the window they tell me they have no chopped chicken but they can give me the breast on the side and I can cut it so I'm like ok I guess I'll do that, then I get have half way home and realize that they put sour cream So go back and tell them I asked for no sour cream and they didn't put any avocado. So the MANAGER does what she calls "fixing" it, which is scraping the sour cream off and breaking the peace of the shell the sour cream was touching, once I realized this I couldn't even eat my food because it was cold by the time I finished cutting up the chicken.

there online hours says they close at 11 on Saturday’s I went today around 10:30 and they said they closed already that they closed at 10 they had the music really loud , they couldn’t even hear me when I was speaking through the speaker. I went hungry and left starving. I got the Tostodo salad. I searched for the beans and rice. The lettuce was the uncomfortable part in the middle. The dressing looked skeptical. The bowls are significantly decreased but I don't think the price has. I will not return to this location.

Small portions for the price chicken was over cooked and the gravy was cold dont get me started on the tortillas salsa bar was a bit messy and they took for ever to give me my food ask to speak to the manager and when i finally got to talk to her she was. My wife and I went to this location to get 2 burritos and 1 quesadilla. After we put in our order, 2 women came in and ordered. I noticed that the long line at the drive through that was there when we walked in was quickly empty. So the drive through has priority over walk in. The 1 of the 2 women got her meals (about 3 of them) before us. My wife question the manager and told him we ordered before her. He said that because her order was quick, they made it right away. Soon after the second women got her order and she had 4 burritos. We finally got our order and I gave it back and asked for my money. I guess they had to catch and kill our chickens and that's why they took so long. I hate to mention it but the other two women were white. We will never stop here again.

I have tried to like this place over and over but no such luck. Everytime I go the chicken is so dry you need to take a drink just to swallow your bite. I have ordered the family meals and I have ordered the chicken taco salads no matter what I get the chicken is dry and disappointing. Why spend that much money to have to toss the food? I rather just go to stator bros in same parking lot and get a cooked chicken from the deli instead from now on! Sorry I tried

About 7:30 pm Tuesday my wife went in and a young man with a pierced nose ring Help her with the most suck attitude and disrespectful to my wife. she ordered a chicken burrito and he didn’t even wait to finish her order and walked away he came back and she told him I need a cup of beans. His whole attitude, suckling, Customer Service I highly recommend not to go there or management change this person in fact, a customer in front of my wife walked away without ordering because the presentation of his attitude. If this is the employees of Boyle local wants to help, they will lose business. It’s time for an attitude change and correct the problem. It’s a show how suck the attitude he had when he got the beans and hand it to my wife,my wife found out that the cup was crushed in the beans and spilled out in the bag. Wow what kind of customer service is that?

I hate to give them one star but unfortunately it was ridiculous. I went in at 9.30 waited 23min in drive thru watch all the employees not even cooking just cleaning ignoring the line of customers. I understand you want to go home but really. Not only did my food have 3 pieces of chicken 3 my soda tasted like sparkling water. Please up your customer service.

It's been 20 odd years since I've been to an El pollo loco and my wife has never been to one and this one really didn't impress. I tried the sweet tea which was not sweetened probably because someone forgot to add it which isn't the worst part. The food was lack luster and bland at best because no one working seemed to care. When they say it was citrus marinated, I as a customer would like to actually taste what the menu says it should taste like, instead of just plain flame broiled chicken. If anything on their wall decor is true it is this, that the cooks are specially trained to grill awful food. My wife and I will not go back again.

My family and I frequently order and come to this pollo loco. Today was possibly the worst experience we’ve ever had while dining in. The cashier, I believe his name was Rafael, who took our order was a sweetheart. He was so attentive, so kind, and was so patient while we ordered. He even went on to recommend some of his favorites, which we tried and they were great. On the other hand, The younger employee, I believe his name is Michael, was handing out the food had the rudest attitude. I’ve worked customer service all of my life and have never once given customers attitude or treated customers bad. At first everything was ok when we got our order, but after we got our plates anything else we asked for seemed like a chore. Instead of doing the regular “any sauces or salsas?” My mom and I would have to ask for our things out loud. There was 2 people who were assembling the orders together and both would just look at us and look back at the order. Even a simple “we’ll be right with you.” Goes a long way. When we asked for jalapeños or a water cup, Michael would say “we don’t have any” When the customer before us had gotten the cups and the jalapeños. Working with customers is a pain I get it, but despite how bad a work day is or gets never let it get in the way of giving a customer good customer service.

Horrible service. Went to the Hesperia, Ca location on Mothers day the drive thru young man was so rude and short tempered with my husband and myself. We are seniors and VERY nice seniors at that. We did not deserve his treatment and he even shorted us on our sides. My Double chicken and avocado salad had 6 (SIX) pieces of chicken and one slice of brown avocado with wilted lettuce. We spent over 40 bucks there and got ripped off big time. I contacted El Pollo Loco via Twitter and corporate and haven't heard one word from either. We are both non complaining people so you have to know the service and not giving us what we paid forWmust of been really bad for me to complain at all. We will Never go to el pollo loco again.

Very young guy and extremely rude at the drive thru. May 1st at 7pm. No other cars in drive thru. 64 cents now extra if you want Creamy cilantro dressing. No receipt. Just wow. I usually go to the one on bear Valley and amargosa. I won't ever be back here again.

Overpriced but good food for a quick healthy option. Update the customer service has gone down hill rude drive through worker levies got my order wrong twice now so I’ll no longer bring my business to this location I only stop to this one because it’s on the way home, but I’ll go out of my way now to the apple valley one instead. Food was dry the last time ordered a 3 piece meal for a drumstick the Mac and cheese was just cheese with literally 6 noodles in it.

I was looking forward to the birria and the consume but, the tacos barely had any meat or onion or cilantro in them I didn't get no consume I also ordered a family chicken meal and the chicken looked old as if it was just reheated it. I didn't get no cilantro dressing for my salad. I see other people's orders and the tacos look very good and appealing. they had meat cheese cilantro and onion, mine barely had any, not at this location... get it together Pollo loco on Main in Hesperia California.

Ordered a chicken bowl with extra rice instead of beans, and they gave me double beans. When they remade the order, the second bowl literally only had three pieces of chopped chicken lol. Sadly it’s not been the first time they’ve messed up or missed something in the order either, understanding everyone makes mistakes but this location seems to lack proper food service.

2 days ago I ordered the Mac n cheese and queso dip. Little did I know I was going to experience the worst food poisoning I ever experienced. Symptoms started 15 minutes after eating those items. Please be careful, restaurant needs to follow safety measures. Luckily it was me and not my kids.

The service was completely unacceptable. All employees appeared stressed, and there was chaos in the kitchen with yelling and confusion. The cashier likely gave my order to the wrong customer because I waited over half an hour for my food. When I asked the cashier about the delay and why my order was skipped, he rudely asked if I wanted a refund. I told him no; I just wanted my order. The manager then stepped in, apologized for his staff's poor behavior, and took responsibility for correcting the mistake. Employees definitely need proper training on handling such situations. While I understand that problems can occur, staff should be trained to treat customers with respect. The employee's rudeness was unacceptable, but the manager's attitude was commendable—they clearly handle these issues daily. Despite the poor service, the food was excellent.

Placed pick up order and wasn’t ready when I got there. They tried to give me someone else’s order after asking my name they gave me a different customers. Then proceeded to tell me that someone else picked up my order so I spoke to a manager and all she had to say was sorry after I told her her employees were not checking the tickets and gave out my order to the wrong person They then proceeded to remake my order, and I had to give back the bag twice because it was wrong with missing food. I’m very dissatisfied with the service and I honestly think it’s just lazy. They also were closed for cleaning at the time my order was scheduled to pick up 30 minutes before close.

This location has been the worse place in the H.D. I will never visit this location... I order a 16piece family meal of leg and thighs. I got 2 thighs and the rest were legs.. then I ordered a double chicken bowl with no rice and easy beans. They gave me a dish that looked like vomit.. and my loco salad looked as if my baby had made it herself. I called them to let know how upset I was, the woman who answered did not care really about my complaint and would not do anything about the mistakes they made... First I went to one El Pollo loco but they didn't have any tamales or avocado so I went to the second location & had to go across town. I ordered a taco & tamale. The taco had no meat just onions & cilantro. They kept messing my order up!!! So I won't go back there any more!!! I recommend to unwrap your food before you go home!!! Here is my meat less taco!!!
