Such a great time here! Expensive but worth it for a treat. The 8oz filet was delicious - medium rare, tender, tasty. I added the gorgonzola sauce - pricey but amazing and so worth it for the added flavor if you like gorgonzola. Honestly one of the best steaks I've ever had - we will definitely be back. We visited for Valentine's, with a reservation - they were clearly very busy but we were seated immediately and never felt rushed or like service was too slow.

Took my mom out for birthday dinner. It was delicious. Apparently, this is the place to go for birthday dinner. Every table was celebrating. Desert comes with a sparkler thing. And the chocolate lava cake was amazing. Dinner was cooked perfect... Ribeye steak.... Will def be back.

Lovely place with a nice bar. Usually busy on the weekends but fairly accommodating. Steak was delicious and the red wine sauce blew my mind it was so good. Cocktails were fun spins on classics.

Love the steak and frites! Our party of 15 was served well. Everyone loved the food. Steak was very tender, tasty and juicy. Will definitely come back with my famiy.

Solid service and food always! I sat at the bar and enjoyed some appetizers and drinks. The bar staff were social and attentive. I didn't eat main meal this time, but have in the past and enjoyed the many options. Great atmosphere!

Arrived before 5pm without a reservation. Hostess was lovely seated us right away. Serving staff was awesome. Freshly made rolls. Entree came quickly. Meatloaf was out of this world! Can't wait to travel that way again. You will not be disappointed!

Redfire Grill continues to impress. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the ribeye and she really enjoyed it. We split the pesto Caesar salad which was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend it. That said, sitting outside was a mistake. The mosquitos were brutal and I left with over 15 bites. If you're dining in the late afternoon or evening, choose indoor seating. The food is worth it either way.

Fantastic food and service, waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. They ran out of the wine we ordered but offered a higher quality at the same cost to compensate us. Definitely would recommend for a night of fine dining.

Had my daughter's graduation dinner here. It was for 14 people. The food was great, and the service was outstanding. For those who like a quiet atmosphere, they had a live band, but they do have an indoor/outdoor patio. We love live bands so it was great for us.

Food was excellent, from appetizers to entrees and dessert all tasted very good, seasoned well, steak cooked to the right temperature. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and checked in at appropriately spaced times where it wasn't either too frequent or too infrequent, but just right. Will definitely be back for special occasions.

Came in a couple weeks ago for dinner with a friend and had a great time, our server Collin was so attentive, kind, and made great recommendations for both food and drinks. My friend and I had never been there before and he made the experience such a delight! The food was absolutely amazing, great atmosphere, and amazing service. We’ll definitely be back!

Drove by from PA. to Delaware. Best mushroom soup Ever! Burger was perfect and crabcake sandwich delicious. Great service and comfy place for mid-day meal. Everything was Hot and fresh. Water glass filled before we had to ask. Just the way a restaurant should be. Will definitely be back!

Wife and I both had surf n turf. Mine medium, hers medium well. Both cooked to perfection. Delicious! I had the mushroom soup and she had a sweet potato bisque. Both excellent. The apple cheesecake for desert was also very good. I was wary after reading some of the recent reviews, but overall we had a very good meal. Would recommend and dine here again. The only negatives are minor and nit picky. I thought my lobster was a little dry, and we didn't have a good rapport with our waiter. And I wouldn't sit near the door again.

Absolutely loved the Red Fire Grill. We were looking for a place for Easter dinner and thought we would try it. Our 1st time there and will be back soon, our Server Val was on her 1st shift as a waitress and did a really great job. I am not a fan of Brussels sprouts but theirs are great

First time here. We were greeted with a smile and immediately seated. Our server was right to our table for our drinks and app order. Our drinks came quickly followed by our Fried Calamari which was fresh and cooked perfectly with delicious sauces lightly plated. We ordered the Monday special, half price burgers. The Redfire burgers were very good. I ordered the soup of the day which was sweet potato vegetable. It was not for my taste. The manager, while asking how our meal was, noticed the full soup and offered to remove it from our bill. A very pleasant experience.

We gathered at Red Fire for a Birthday Happy Hour 1/8/26 and had excellent service from Lexi! Jen was bartending and is always efficient and friendly. There were 11 people and Lexi was great with drinks, we ordered all the appetizers, calamari and key lime pie - all delicious! We frequent burger night and I must say it's always a great time due to the high quality of food, the service and the atmosphere. No doubt why Red Fire is a Hockessin/Delaware favorite of many.

I wish I remembered our servers name tonight (12/6/25). She was excellent. Was authentic, wasn't rushed to take our order, but was always right on time. Intuitive. And was informative. Probably one the best experiences I've had here UNTIL the floor manager came out. My husband and I were having a convo over the last bits of food on our plates and she came up mid-convo and said something along the lines of "can I box that up for you? It looks like you're done with that plate" or she was making a comment about my facial expression and how it looked like I was "over it" when really I was making a face relating to my convo with my husband. Anyway, I said yes box it up because in my head I was thinking obviously we're taking too long and she's trying to get us out even though I was working on some amazing bites of potato and steak juice (which were discarded). At one point she was just standing in an area with her hands behind her back staring out at the restaurant. Very unsettling. I appreciate when restaurants uphold standards and make changes as needed to meet their goals and make a better experience for us, but that kind of micromanaging is uncomfortable for the customer to experience. Our server was totally on our level and met our needs 100%. Didn't need a manager to help. I am grieving those last bites of potato :(

We came during lunch and had a wonderful time. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich and it was incredibly flavorful. Our server was Maximo and his service was great. He was knowledgable, considerate, and attentive to our needs. 5 stars all around, we will be back.

I went there last week with a friend who is a regular. She highly recommended them and I could see why. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and relaxed, can even be intimate for a date. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server, Kylar, was so nice. The fries that come with their burgers are absolute perfection. The only downside was the location is kinda hidden so navigating through the parking lot and shopping area can be a bit confusing but that isn't their fault.

We reserved the private dining room for a luncheon and Lizzie and Cindy were wonderful to work with in getting all the arrangements set up. We had a pre-selected menu and the food was delicious. The only thing I would change is title the Beef Tenderloin "Beef Tenderloin Sandwich" because it reads as if you were getting a piece of steak vs a sandwich. The Caesar salad was my favorite. The quality was all wonderful and our family loved the food. The service was great. Thanks again for making our family luncheon so memorable.

Yummy eats, a little pricey but the atmosphere and quality of food and service is top notch. Thank you to our server Shannon for being so helpful and accommodating. I got the wings and the wedge. Wasn't a big fan of the wings, they were good but very messy and I like messy wings but the sauce is a Thai sauce and a bit on the gelatinous side. They were good, don't get me wrong but on my next visit I would try something else. The wedge salad was yummy.

rock solid steaks and appetizers. my 12 oz ribeye was tender, full of juicy flavor and grilled to the perfect 150° medium temperature. came back for the Cobb and salmon. Still really good.

We came here for lunch with a work group. Little disappointed that a steakhouse doesn’t serve steak during lunch hours. And you can’t get a baked potato at 1pm either( most of us wanted a steak and baked potato). But we stayed and tried their lunch menu. The cheesesteak spring rolls were okay at best, (had the potential to be great), but the meat was tough and dry on the inside and had no cheese inside. 3/10 for the spring rolls. The tenderloin sandwich though was good! I liked it but wish I could’ve gotten it cooked a little more rarer, waitress said all the tenderloin meat is pre cooked to medium for the sandwich. Some co-workers got the RedFire burger and loved it. Mac and cheese was awesome as a side. Wish one of us could have tried a steak to give it a more complete review but overall a decent lunch experience if you minus the spring rolls.

My fiance and I go here every few months. The last few times, our waitress has been Erica and she's the best, very personable and always on top of everything before you can even think of it! We've always enjoy the food at Redfire whenever we go. We recently had the crab dip, wedge salad steak frites, crab cakes, bananas foster milkshake, and apple butter cheesecake. Everything was great! My only negative thing is that there's no area to wait in. The "wait area" overflows into the bar so while you're waiting for your table it feels like you're basically intruding on someone's meal because you're wedged in so close and you usually have to wait quite some time even with a reservation.

We on a Saturday night with my wife. The initial impression when we were greeted by the hostess was absolutely horrible. This unprofessional young woman made a point to tell us that we had to be out before 630pm because there was another reservation. We had a 5pm reservation arrived about 5 minutes early. There was no reason for her to tell us about the next reservation. The way she said it came across extremely improper and unacceptable for a restaurant like this. Once we sat, we had the best waiter. His name was Eric and I’d definitely recommend sitting in his section. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, attentive. The wife ordered the surf and turf while I ordered the crab cakes. Unfortunately there was an issue with the lobster tail. However, the manager on duty (Cindy) handled it with professionalism and even made the point to stop by a few extra times just to check on us. It’s because of Eric and Cindy that we will return. I just hope that that the hostess lady goes through some training.

12 minutes to get greeted. Our server made up for it with personality and attention to detail. Food is mediocre at this price point. Cocktails were great! Mushrooms, great! Calamari felt store bought. Barrel steak was tough. Gorgonzola cream was very nice though. NY strip was prepared perfectly but fell short in taste.

Our meal was just adequate. My cheeseburger bun was much bigger than the cheeseburger itself. Scallops over cream corn....bizarre. Overpriced for the quality of the fare. Won't be eating there again, sorry.

I’ve been here a few times in the past and it was really good- huge portions. Tonight, not so much. $39.95 for a 6oz filet mignon & a sweet potato. Small portion on a large plate. It was sloppy and looked like the food was thrown together. There was no presentation. It was disappointing. I asked for my filet to be medium and it was well over medium well. My husband ordered a burger and fries for $17.95 and the portion was huge. I really wish I ordered a sandwich/burger. I can’t believe how big that portion was compared to a steak entree. He also ordered a beer and when it came there was something floating in it, which looked like food that was left in the glass/it may have not been cleaned. It was disgusting. The waitress was really nice and attentive. She brought back a fresh beer. Not sure if we will be back. But we spent around $85 plus tip, which came out to be over $100. We did get coffee and shared a sundae.. which was better than our entrees, overall. After everything, It wasn’t worth it.

GOOD FOOD, POOR SERVICE. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE. OVERLOOKED BY SERVER AND MANAGER. Our server was not attentive and it felt like she made herself unavailable for our dining experience. When seated we sat so long without an interaction that another server asked if we were seen which should have been a red flag. During our dinner we had to ask other servers for items because our server wasn’t available. Because the restaurant is high level casual dining good service is a customer expectation. We were not asked how our service was by the manager who we witnessed asking other customers/patrons in our dining area. THE LACK OF ATTENTIVENESS FELT INTENTIONAL RESULTING IN A FEELING OF BEING NOT WELCOMED. My wife (who has patronized the establishment numerous times) voiced her concerns to the manager, which only made things worse. I will not be back. It is what it is…

Went there with a small party for lunch, and was very disappointed in my ripoff of a Shrimp Caesar salad. The Caesar salad itself was $13, and to add Shrimp was an additional $8, for ONLY 3 shrimp!!! The salad itself was kind of weak, with shredded lettuce, light dressing, and overall nothing to write home about; I think I've had better Caesar Salad from a Wendy's for $4. The Shrimp were a decent size, and tasted good, but I cleared my plate and still left hungry. Our Server was good, the atmosphere was nice. However, I can't help feeling ripped off for paying $21 for a cafeteria-level salad with a handful of shrimp.

We’ll have to redact review from 4 years ago. Went tonight for my bday dinner. Looked forward to the mushroom soup, garlic bread with Gorgonzola and a nice black and blue ribeye. $240 later wish I had cooked myself. Let alone the crazy price hikes, it was a horrible experience from what was once a great place. Soup was good as always. But garlic bread changed from the logs to lackluster hoagie style bread. The steak was horrendous. Ordered the ribeye black and blue. Came out wet and medium rare. Sent it back and the new black and blue that came out was a joke. See pics. No sear, and refrigerator cold inside throughout. Place should not be called a steakhouse anymore. Wife is a vegetarian and the old chef, not like the line cooks they apparently have now, made her some wacky tomato fettuccine. But the kicker was the $31 price tag on veggie pasta. Charged us for the lobster ravioli. Complete horrible bday experience. Took the steak home to sear it myself. Do not recommend at all anymore. Way overpriced for what you get. Platinum dining should be ashamed for ruining a once great restaurant experience. Shame on the owners.

Placed an online order for our meal. Got there at the time the meal was to be ready. Had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. No apologies from management. In person is good but would seriously avoid take out.

I arrived shortly before 9 on half price burger night. I believe that I was the only one that was ordering food in the restaurant at this time. I ordered a Refire burger medium well. My first burger took a long time and was burned beyond recognition. I am very surprised that this left the kitchen. The second attempt took a while, but not as long and was cooked far too long. I just could not get the burned taste out of my mouth and left it there. I appreciate the manager not charging me for a burger that I couldn't eat, but that was my attempt at dinner. My impression is that the focus was on closing and my meal was left unattended. I would have rather had something edible and not spent most of an hour waiting.

We used to eat here a lot and loved it. We went last night and the food was mediocre and the service terrible. We didn’t get what we asked for and the portions were small and my crab cakes were flattened, overcooked, and tiny. I got a baked potato that I didn’t ask for. I wanted all veggies and ended up with four asparagus. We didn’t get our spinach and all the food came at the same time as the salad. There was more dressing on the salad than all the veggies combined. We had to ask them to take the entrees back. No drinks were volunteered we had to ask for drinks and I literally drank till there wasn’t even any ice left. I don’t know what happened Red Fire used to be top notch.. not worth the price. So disappointed! Our friends had never been there before and I’m sure they won’t be rushing back. Huge disappointment..

Burnt Steaks + Burgers, flavor less Mac&Cheese, watery Ceasars Salad and very inattentive staff that brings menus to then tell you your choice isn't on the menu anymore... The Key Lime Pie never seen any Lime either... Overall Bad Experience and sad about the money.
