This Pollo is pretty good. I've eaten here almost daily for the last year. They are even good at correcting any mistakes they've made. The worst part about this Pollo is the drive thru line. The cars are coming from two directions into one line... It only works when they put someone it there at night to conduct traffic, but without a worker present, it can be an utter mess trying to determine who was first and who goes next.

I will be totally honest, worst Pollo Tropical I've been to. Since I ordered my meal on the app, I cannot really review my order as it is taped up. That being said, this Pollo Tropical locked it's doors before closing, meaning I could not pick it up inside, but through the drive-thru. As there were other customers behind me, I could not check to make sure it was correct; therefore, I was forced to trust that my food was as ordered. Arriving home, my fears came true. They got my order wrong in so many ways that I don't think it counts as the same order. They did not give me the BBQ sauce I ordered, nor the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake I paid for; instead, they only gave me cilantro garlic, and Key Lime Pie (does not taste nice). The main platter itself was good, but they didn’t respond to my request to charge more for extra bread rolls. After coming off a near 11-hour shift at work, the least I expected was as much effort I would put in if I was in their position. I have never felt so inclined to write a negative review in my life. Do not order here at night.

Got it because I was sick only to find out once home, these guys must have actively picked out all the chicken or something because there is everything BUT the chicken. Only remedy? Pack it up and take it back to them for a replacement. I want my money back, not a replacement. Won't be coming to this location again.

I came to try the ropa vieja, and to my surprise, there was practically no ropa vieja at all. The amount they put in the Tropichops is ridiculous; I was offended. I went to ask, and the answer was that it's the portion. Here's reality versus false advertising. I wasn't expecting a full plate, but at least I expected some meat to be visible 🤬 I paid $9.99 for rice, beans, tomato, and corn.

I ordered the family meal chicken and pork through the drive through. I was told to park and they would bring it to me. I waited no more than 10 minutes. But as soon as I accepted the food bags, I smelled burnt chicken, which this Pollo Tropical is notorious for. And sure enough, a third of the chicken was burnt to a crisp, which meant it wasn't edible. It's unfortunate that this location doesn't take pride in the quality of their chicken. The pork, black beans, rice and bread was good.

Literally spent one hour in drive through. Couldn’t figure out what was taking so dam long. And then come to find out they were taking one car at a time. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at pollo. I live right down the street and I will never be back. This is just ridiculous. I ordered 1/2 chicken and an original family meal for an event at my church with Uber eats. They just brought me a pot with rice another one with beans yuca and plantain no meat at all.Everything went wrong that day. I ordered four meals and obviously I asked for the garlic sauce, it's the best thing about Tropical Chicken and the reason I chose it... but in this specific case, for four meals they only gave me three sauces saying they didn't have any more. I won't be coming back. Good luck to you.

Let's talk about this pollo tropical.smh omg this food was so nasty that I will not eat here again. Everything was pushed to one side. I did uber eats.. I got a large choppy chopped with chicken and lettuce white rice and black bean, I also got camalize onion and pepper and tomato.. you can see the picture it looks great right.smh nope they gave me a child plate little chuck of chicken and a small portion of everything else. My plantains was burnt my large fried yuca was wasn't cooked. Stop rushing food please and if you could service to people you need to be slapped or closed down because I know Polltropical have better standards then what you served me today... if I served this to you would you be happy if you say yes then your Expectation is low.. I paid 37 dollars that's including the tips for the driver and delivery fees. My Actual bills is 28 dollars.. for a food that is nothing more then white rice and little black bean and a small portion of chicken that they gave you when you order a regular choppy chopped.. they give more for the regular choppy chopped but less rice and blackbean.. I know because I ate their so many time I study their portion.smh.. yea im done eating this restaurant. Not wasting my money at this place I will cooked for myself.. if you want something done just do it yourelf..

Other reviews claim that this place is under new management and has gotten better. That’s a blatant lie. Consistently this place under delivers - missing items, flat out ignoring what is being ordered. Most recently, vegan (which includes beyond meat) is missing the key ingredient, yet they didn’t mind charging me for it. Pollo corporate doesn’t care - they know what’s happening in their stores, they ignore it and the staff continues to abuse this.

Let me give a little synopsis: I patiently waited in my car as I arrived early for my mobile order, and waited until a couple minutes passed my pick up time to go inside. No one acknowledged me as I did at the counter. The expediter whose name is Luis apparently, only acknowledged his female co worker who came up to the counter a few minutes after me to ask for a side of tomatoes. They chatted a little and he made sure to give her his undivided attention. When he stepped away from her, I spoke up requesting my order. He told me wait a minute and proceeded to get the employee her tomatoes and when she looked disappointed, he said "is that enough?" And continues chatting with her as little while I waited. A female manager glanced at me and at first was going to ignore me until she saw that I noticed her attention and she gave me my order which has been ready and waiting behind the counter. Luis made no attempt to interact with me even still... Oh and my order was wrong as usual.

I placed the order for my children, everything was fine up to that point. I waited for about 30 minutes because there was a line, but everything was fine, that's normal. During the wait, my son told me that he was thirsty and asked for a lemonade. When my turn came, I told Brandon, the man at the window, that PLEASE ADD A LEMONADE to my order. And with a horrible attitude, he said no. That the manager told him I couldn't add anything to the order. That if I wanted a lemonade, I should have asked for it when I placed the order. I told him, "Sir, I've been waiting for 30 minutes, my son got thirsty, and he told me to get in line again." Personally, I won't return to this place. Good luck to whoever goes, but no more to me.

Terrible every time I order, I get what I didn't order or I'm missing the service is very bad, I've had to go back several times. The other day I ordered chicken soup and they gave me broth with a bad face because they didn't have any food or meat. Now I ordered ribs and they didn't have them, they changed the entire menu. This is the last time I order.

Every single time I go there the lines are horrible. A few nights ago we waited over 40 minutes. We asked for a whole chicken family meal, and they didn't had any. I understand late at night but it was 6pm. Also for weeks now the tropi chiller is unavailable because the machine is broken. Plus the lady at the drive thru had an attitude. I think next time I would be driving further to another location.

The worst pollo tropical in Miami Dade county! The First time I went to this pollo tropical I waited in a long line to be told that they had no chicken available or anything fried. Practically 3/4 of the menu was unavailable so I had to drive to another pollo tropical 20 min away. Second time coming to this pollo tropical I did an online order for pickup and had a missing item that was never placed in the bag along with a Caesar salad that literally had no dressing nor croutons. Just plain lettuce. After attempting to call this place to get a refund for these 2 items no one answers the phone. I won’t be going to this location again. The worst!!!!!

I really like pollo tropical food since I was little in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and I can't believe how they damage the tradition of food wow. A arroz mogollado with cold and hard tostones well it is a total disaster and so happy and shouting at the top of the wind that pollo tropical is the best but I fixed it I told my friends that on my island it is real pollo tropical and the food is prepared just like at home! Well for those people who think that pollo tropical is the best in Miami, they are very wrong!

This location is the worst, I try to give the benefit of the doubt that one order will be right as I have ordered from here twice before, but there is always someone left without being able to eat, because of a mistake to the order. The disappointing part is that it is all printed on the receipt correctly but there is always something wrong or things missing. If I eat Pollo tropical again I will not be ordering from this location.
