Super delicious pizza!!! You need to try it....
Ordered Large Special 🍕 and the Sampler appetizers. 🍕 was awesome! Crispy tender crust and everything but anchovies and the kitchen sink! The Sampler appetizers, well, they lacked even portions of the included items. There were two of us and I just let her have the ones she wanted and I was able to get a couple of fried 🍄 which were 👌🏽! Oh and while I am here, you can get 🍕 by the slice!!!
An out in the open hidden gem in Dayton, TX. Went in to get a cup of coffee and stayed for the great pastry. I didn't have a meal there, but the menu looks great, and meal items look very nice. The ladies were very nice and the restaurant itself is extremely clean. I'll be back there for lunch or dinner soon.
Excellent service, delicious food, imported beers buy 5 get one free! I consider myself very picky I truly enjoyed my experience here. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and it was perfect. I have to say my 2 Philly friends were impressed even though it comes with provolone cheese. If you are looking for your fix this is the spot. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
I've always wanted to try this place for years finally did . I mean where else are you going to find drive through fett alfredo and single pizza slices. Garlic bread is so good .
Some of the best Italian food around. They have been in business for nearly 50 years with the same owner. Lasagne with a small salad and garlic loaf are to die for. The Meatball Subs are great too! The carry-out containers are wonderful. No spilling.
The pizza was fantastic! The service was great as well despite it seeming like they were short staffed at the moment. Everything was correct, and on time and had no issues. The location was also noteworthy. Small, comfortable, and cute. Your choice of indoor or outdoor seating
Small but been coming here for years. The food is delicious! And they will make. The pizza slices extra crispy for you if you ask :) it's a small place and the owner is friendly :D
We came to have lunch here and we after living in Houston my whole life I can't believe I never stopped here. The food came out quickly and it was really good. I had a chicken pasta and my husband had a chicken Alfredo. We were also able to sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze while we ate.. Both dishes were great we will definitely be back.
I was craving for a pizza, and Bambolino's is the BEST. When you bite into it, the crust crunches; it is cooked to perfection! ANd it was so cheesy, and meaty. I totally loved it. I also take out some Cannoli and Lasagna. It taste soooooo good. After I had it, I knew I had to share the experience, it is super YUM. I am definitely going back here!
The double slice pizzas are delicious. Wheather they are made from scratch or frozen, they taste fresh made everytime.
I dream about the crust when I'm not eating it. Even the cheese, sauce, and toppings used is leagues better than any chain pizza. When I'm in the area it's a must have. They used to be all over Houston but this is the only one left, sadly. This is probably the kind of pizza folks from other places speak about and I see what they mean. THIS IS SOME REAL PIZZA!!!!!
Had the House Pizza, which is basically their supreme. We loved it. Wouldn’t consider the wings “hot wings”. They were regular.. but the pizza is outstanding. Staff was polite. Place is pretty clean.
We love Mo and his restaurant! We eat here every chance that we get! He always remembers my favorite meal and takes the time to chat!
I visited my daughter in Houston, Texas and she took me here and when I tell you everything was delicious. Mr. Moe was very polite, professional and so friendly and explained things to us when we had questions. The pizza was delicious, the cake was delicious and the soup was delicious.
Are there last night on a date. We ordered the Hawaiian with bell pepper added. Crust was amazing. And so was the sauce. Really really good. The guy working the counter was really nice, and we loved sitting outside. I would go back.
One of the best pizza joint in town! It’s easy to miss, but once you discover it you will fall in love! You can tell they really care what goes into making their pizzas. The drive thru is so convenient! The food is definitely worth the wait! The ingredients taste fresh and the margarita pizza is to die for!
I've been coming here for over 10 years... the quality has been the same. The cashier has been the same guy which is the owner! I love their pizza & they also have really good, priced deals on food & drinks. The only con about this place is that it's always hot inside but as a business owner I get it. This place is a must try if your in the area! one love
I highly recommend stopping by to get their double slice of pizza, any way you like it! The ingredients are fresh, the wait is short, and the service is friendly and helpful. I even planned a study group there for y HVAC class and they were extremely accommodating to everyone's special orders and needs.
This place is nostalgic and charming. So many fond memories here. The pizza still tastes just like it always has. I always get the cheese slices because it's what I've always gotten since I was a little girl. It's not the best pizza in town but you won't taste it anywhere else and you will find yourself craving it if you ever move from Houston like I did. Their lemonade is great too.
Always chill, BEST PIZZA IN TOWN.... Breakfast tacos, top notch.. these guys are dedicated and absolutely fabulous... pizza crust is always crispy, which is my favorite 😍 ... ♡♡♡
I love how the pizza itself is crunchy and soft, everything I've ordered here was been consistent and great. I usually get the Margherita and the house pizza it's delicious.
Today I was able to bring my 5 year old son to a restaurant that I used to love when I was his age. I haven’t lived in Houston for over 25 years so it’s been a while since I’ve been able to eat here, but let me tell you, the pizza is still good! The sauce tastes the same and the bread part of the pizza under the cheese and sauce still has that same diamond pattern. The slices were smaller today but times have changed. I’m so happy this wonderful restaurant is still around and hope it continues to be for a long time. Thank you for a wonderful, and very special, lunch today. 😊
Had a great date night here. The pizza is awesome, so is their frozen lemonade. Great to sit outside as the weather cools down. Will definitely be back here.
I don't know why this place is not full all the time. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. My wife and I have been here three or four times. We live far away, if but we're in Houston, We're coming here.
They have the best meatball subs! Plus, the lemon ice was sooo good! I like the crispy crust of their pizza, too.
Awesome!! I had their breakfast tacos and the veggie one was soo good! Pizza is supreme!!! Basil in the sauce and the crust is brick oven crispyyyyyyy i love that they are open at 9am literally a lifesaver
The varied menu even has wedding soup and dessert. Picky eater approved. Cozy atmosphere, good prices, friendly service, very casual.
Best pizza crust I've had in a LONG time. And the cheese sticks were AMAZING!! Definitely coming back. Probably my new go to pizza place. Prices are super reasonable too.
Pretty low-key pizza spot with other options such as lasagna and dessert as well. You can get pizza whole or by the slice. Overall I was generally impressed by my visit. There's indoor/outdoor seating, and it appears to even have a drive though.
Food was good and cheap got their grilled chicken poboy, bread is all homemade. The service is good the owner is nice to talk to.
I've come here with my family multiple times and it has always been good. The food always taste fresh and hot. The owner is also really nice.
I remember my mom bringing me here when I was little. I loved this place so much & was always excited to go. I’m 46 now & I had the pleasure of taking my little girl she’s 5 & loved the pizza just like I did. We definitely will be back soon!
I’ve been going to Bambolino’s Pizza since I was 5 years old and I’m almost 40. I love this pizza because it’s unlike any other pizza, with its thicker crust around the edges and sweet tomato sauce. There aren’t many places in Houston where you can get pizza by the slice, and I don’t know of any other pizza joints on the planet with a drive-thru. Bambolino’s is a staple of the Houston restaurant scene and it’s the first place I eat after returning home to visit family. I hope Bambolino’s is around for another three decades.
I have been coming here for about 20years and they still have great pizza 🍕. My husband has benzene coming since he was a little boy and they had other locations. Food is great hot and fresh!
Still the best pizza in Houston. Fresh ingredients. Family run business with a homey small town feel in the big city. We have been coming here 8 years. Today we went to Menil museum, Rothko Chapel and then here for lunch, they're all within 3 minutes of each other. Dine in for a cozy experience, you can even watch the game while you eat. "Stop and smell the flowers" Dont miss the pink roses outside, they smell so beautiful.🌹Inside and outside seating are both very nice.
I'm in love with this place, it has become one of my favorite lunch spots since I randomly tried the place out. I've been having a po'boy sandwich and the bread is made in house. Perfectly soft inside and a nice crunch on the outside. I've tried a few and all have been great. I haven't partaken yet but they offer beers for a few bucks which would be a really nice bonus with a delicious sandwich or their pizza, which I'm sure will be great as well when I try it next time!
I was in the neighborhood and I wanted to try something that I’ve never experienced. This place has that mom and pop feel of places I used to eat at when I was a kid in Chicago. The pizza isn’t Chicago style though but I thoroughly enjoyed the cracker crust. I ordered fried mushrooms and a slice of veggie pizza. They have Topo Chico too! It was comfortable to sit by myself and enjoy a late lunch. Try it. I’m glad I did.
Very simple little pizza spot. A great place for a quick drive-thru pizza slice order, or stretch your legs and have a drink (beer & wine served) with your Italian food. Even a fresh crisp salad if you like. Fantastic frozen lemonade (large please). We’ve been coming here for 29 years and it’s consistently good.
I've been coming here since I was a kid, and now I bring my own kid here! The pizza is good and affordable and nothing beats their frozen lemonades! I love that they have a drive-through too - especially with a small child, it's nice to zip through and grab a lemonade whenever we want.
Great tasting pizza cooked to perfection. Fresh toppings and the crust is amazingly crunchy. Service is also great and the prices are on point. I highly recommend this location. Forgot to mention how delicious the cheese sticks are...highly recommend to try.
I always ask myself why don't I actually dine in. The drive thru has made it so easy to ignore the dine in option. This is shame bc the pizza is really good, I mean really good. This may come as a shock to many bc you never hear or see any buzz about this place. If the drive thru versions are delicious, can you imagine dine in?! I know what most of you would say, if I'm eating this after a night out of drinking of course it's good. On the contrary,I've never picked up any slices after a night out! The price point and quality really makes for your vest pizza option in the area!
First the parking is really cramped if you drive a truck good luck moving in and out of that parking lot. The atmosphere of the is mellow, nice for family eating or just relaxing with friends. Nothing loud. Now the pizza is pretty good and the breaded mushrooms are delicious 😋 👌.
I would’ve given 5 stars had the man behind the counter been nicer but I understand we came in at 8 and they close at 9 but still… jus felt like we weren’t welcomed but the Za was so good. My second fave spot in Houston now. Will deff be returning. This pic is the day after and I threw Za in oven to reheat :)
Solid pizza with a solid price point. It’s a classic dough that has more of a fluffy toasted bread consistency rather than New York thin crust or Detroit pan. It is a tad lacking in richness of flavors from the sauce and cheese, but if you enjoy freshness of the ingredients, this place tastes incredibly fresh! Overall, not anything mind blowing, but it is still delicious and made super fresh!
Pizza from a drive through! Great concept and idea for some pizza on the go. The pizza itself was quite good. Nice and hot with ample cheese and toppings. Not a ton of sauce but it was a good basic flavor. Bread had a great texture with a nice crunch on the bottom. The guy at the window was a little grumpy but was not rude at all. I would have no issues at all Going back but will not seek it out for a pizza craving
I really love the food here. However, my girlfriend and I got skipped by two different people in line: a man and an old lady. We just decided to go have lunch somewhere else.
The food is above average. The service is just okay and the parking is very limited. Restrooms are tiny, but clean. I wish they used actual plates and silverware, not paper plates and plastic ware. Also, the music playing, in my opinion should be Italian. I was listening to Whitney Houston over the speakers during my meal. Should have been Dean Martin and other traditional Italian music.
I got the "All the way" pizza and to be honest, it wasn't amazing. It wasn't bad, about average, fresh veggies, nice sausage, but just wasn't amazing. I can't speak for their other pizzas. I also came here sober, so maybe that played into it. It was also $25.
We parked there for a minute to set an appointment at the tattoo parlor nextdoor before eating. We were chased down immediately to move our car. We told the guy we were planning to eat there, while we waited for our appointment, but he angrily told us there is no shared parking. We came in to eat anyways, and he still angrily told us we could not park there. He did not seem to get that we were coming to eat, so I just put in an order for something random. The food was fine, but the service was definitely not.
7 months ago: This pizza was so good! We are originally from the midwest so we grew up on Godfathers and this place to me was so delicious! We ordered the large veggie pizza and a med chicken.. Definitely worth every penny! It will be our go to now since we have just moved to the area.. Update: I ordered a pepperoni and a cheese pizza for pickup and they were both not great.. sad to say, we will not be back!
Giving it two stars only because it’s quiet and I was able to finish the pizza. I thought I was getting a deal with the 2 Big DOUBLE slices but they’re just 4 small slices with thick bases and thrown together sloppily. Wouldn’t come back or recommend. Came hungry and I’m leaving hungry....
Unfortunately, my visit was very disappointing. The service was slow and unprofessional — staff seemed disinterested and unorganized. We came to celebrate a friend and the cashier wasn't welcoming. Food was served wet salad, plastic forks, ravioli frozen, and my friends spaghetti was undercooked. The tea was not drinkable either .Even worse, the restaurant itself appeared dirty, with noticeable moldy smells and signs of poor upkeep. It didn’t feel like a clean or safe place to eat. I won’t be coming back, and I can’t recommend it to others.
The pizza is a shell of it once was. They pre cook the bread and add stuff and quick cook it. When the toppings disconnect from the bread is because the bread was cooked separately. Even the sauce has changed over the years to plain sauce. The price goes up and the quality has shot down. They guy gave me a different price posted and said the prices change every day because of prices? If you want a semi ok slice of pizza, it will suffice.
Me: "Can I get this pizza with white sauce instead of red please" Cashier: "It doesn't come like that" Me: "ok, well do you have white sauce?" Cashier: "Yes, it goes on other pizzas" Me: "Right, so can I modify this pizza to have white sauce?" Cashier: "No"
I came in here expecting good pizza considering the 4.3 stars it has on google reviews. However, I was extremely disappointed. The crust is most definitely frozen and lacks any semblance of freshness.Truly you’re better off buying frozen pizza from H‑E‑B.
After a long day of shopping me and my mother decided to stop in for some beverages but before we could settle in my mother asked to use the restroom and the owner said we couldn’t because we weren’t paying customers after we purchased our beverages he was very rude and the whole experience was ruined before we could really have one if I could rate zero I would
Terrible pizza. Terrible service. We spent $75 there, then went next door to look at piercings and within 18 minutes, they call a tow company and got my car towed. We left the car for 18 minutes after we spent money in their establishment. There’s better pizza with better service all around Houston.
They were incredibly rude. I pulled into the parking lot and I went out to go get my friend but in the process an employee came out and said they would tow me. I tried explaining I was going to get my friend but they weren’t having any of it. He ended up going back inside and placing a phone call. I promptly left and ate somewhere else with my friend.
Before: With satisfying experiences in older style unique sit in pizza joints and an option for the 'big' slice thought I found a gem. couldn't wait... $3.99 seemed a bit steep but hey it's a ?big slice?! Add a stuffed sausage garlic bread. After: My 'big' slice was barely a normal slice cut in two pieces with a plentiful canvas of paper plate still showing. No flavor. Stuffed is two pieces of garlic bread with sausage topping in between. More of a slider sandwich (in fairness I guess that is stuffed- my bad) Final: disappointed. If the slice was 99 cents I'd get one only to make it to dinner but I will find another snack. I felt it was definitely overpriced for what I rcvd. For me ratings were misleading but it shows that everyone has different likes. The cashier wasn't excited, true, but I came because i was hungry for pizza.
Total Disappointment. Drove for an hour because someone recommended this place. Prices way different than online menu. Pizza tasted like a frozen pizza you by at a grocery store. Definitely not worth the drive and price.
Worst customer service the girl was talking so soft the manager or owner didn’t want to give an answer
Racially profiled in the parking lot. The owner literally came out to harass me before I could even make it in the restaurant. I literally had just parked and got out of the car. Never been to this place just always drove by and decided to try it today because I have seen it for years and never been. I did not immediately come into the restaurant because I was on the phone with my family because my mother had an asthma attack. When I came in still going to order food even after him coming to the parking lot like a weirdo. I asked about something on the menu because I never ate there before and he had the worst attitude and seemed annoyed to be asked a question. I ended up leaving and eating at one of hundreds of other restaurants on Montrose.
The WORST Italian food I've ever tasted. Stopped by here yesterday to grab something to eat while visiting the tattoo parlor next door. Ordered a Italian sausage po-boy, 2 slices of meat lovers pizza, a medium Italian lemon ice, and Italian sausage pasta. My other half hated the po-boy. She didn't like the taste of it, and the roll was also soggy. My autistic son loves pizza, but didn't want that pizza. He indicated he didn't like the taste, and struggled to finish one slice. The "Italian ice" turned out to be barely slushy lemonade. It actually appeared like the person taking the order turned the machine on just prior to serving. The pasta? It turned out to be spaghetti, with a dollop of sauce on it, small sausage crumbles that appeared to be bought-in, and a little mozzarella on top. The sausage tasted like it came out of a freezer bag. The sauce was overpowering with garlic, like it was trying to hide the taste of everything else. Probably for good reason, because the pasta had that sour, rancid taste that it has when it's going bad. It definitely wasn't cooked that day, that's for sure. I took one bite, nearly hurled, and threw the rest away. If it wasn't a long drive back I'd have gone to return everything. TBS, reading other recent reviews made me think they wouldn't care, as did the fact that they could serve something as rancid as the pasta in the first place. I'm a 1st and last time customer! 🤮
Tried to pay the minimum (icy Italian lemonade) to get access to their mysterious bathroom. Hostile body language man behind counter ask me to sit (order from the menu) to use bathroom. Short story, your attitude and lack empathy/sympathy is what earned this one star. -hot Italian lemonade connoisseur
So disappointing! I've visited before and the pizza was delicious. The service was poor but the pizza was delicious! This was my second visit, I drove a long way because I craved a good slice. Unfortunately the service was still poor but worse than that the ingredients on my pizza were undercooked, and it looked sloppy. Disgusting! The owner also didn't wear gloves. Never going back!!!
Stopped here to figure out how to park for the tattoo shop next door. A man came out and said I can't park here, I said I understand I'm just going to look to see where I can park at. He said he was going to close the gate on me and call the tow truck. Unnecessary. Just trying to figure out how I can park where I need to without backing up traffic.
My girlfriend and i came here for the first time today. The salad was bland, the ravioli she got didn’t taste fresh. She got food poisoning from her meal. I asked for one slice and he gave me two instead? The pizza tasted like the frozen pizza you would get at the grocery store. It was disappointing seeing the reviews, both my girlfriend and i were not satisfied. Instead of a full refund, he gave me a partial and was extremely rude about it. I was so nice and really didn’t want to be a bother but almost $30 for horrible food/service is crazy. Don’t eat here. Seriously
The pizza was not good so I gave it a 3 out of 10 due to the thickness of it meaning there was more bread than ingredients. I was told by the guy making it that it was thin. For delicious pizza try Pinks... hands down its delicious .Also, I ordered a Greek salad and the picture that I posted is nothing close to it. In addition, the minestrone soup was not from scratch as mentioned to us but probably a cheap government can one. We will never return to this place but the only reason that I gave it 1 star was because it was a quite place and could not go lower than 1...
