This place is great. Food is so fresh and delicious. Tried the brisket burrito and let me tell you every bite was just perfect. All the ingredients are fresh and homemade. From Otis in the kitchen to Mz. Deedee at the register make the experience feel like home. Super special. Oh yeah the 66 sauce is so great I had to take one home.

Cabo Bob’s is on another level compared to Chipotle or Cava. The tortillas are made fresh right in front of you, the ingredients are super fresh and flavorful, and the portions are perfect. Everything tastes clean and homemade, not processed. The staff is always friendly and the vibe is way more relaxed than the rushed assembly-line feel at other spots. Once you eat here, Chipotle and Cava just don’t compare — Cabo Bob’s sets the standard.

Cabo Bob's catered my son's graduation party, and it was an absolute hit! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Jeremiah, in particular, went above and beyond to accommodate our group, ensuring every detail was perfect. His dedication and attention to detail truly made the difference for us! The food was nothing short of spectacular. Everyone at the party couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was; the quality was top-notch. Plus our guests went on and on about my personal favorite…the chips!! Cabo Bob's made our celebration memorable, and we couldn't have asked for a better catering service. Highly recommend for your next event. They provide everything and it’s packed extremely well.

I like the place and I like their menu better than Chipotle's. My only problem is that the tortillas cannot wrap all the burrito stuffing I ask for.

Will absolutely be back! The store had a different feel which was amazing the staff had smiles the store was clean! The sweet tea mint i didnt think was going to work but blew my mind. The fish being fresh and dropped when order absolutely amazing still very crispy when i got home!

Do not listen to any of the bad reviews on this location because it was spectacular!!!!All I can say is I wish I could give this Cabo Bob's 100 out of 100 stars. We did not dine in but we chose to take our food to go and the service was absolutely incredible top tier!!!! The food is absolutely satisfying and filling without being overly heavy and they're ingredients and they're tortillas are amazing and the whole experience was absolutely perfect!!!! We will be going back quite often if not weekly! Great thanks to the management of this location because you are killin it! Thank you for the great experience the great food! The only thing I might be able to add is that napkins are quite necessary for some selections LOL. So happy and thanks again!!!!

So much better than Chipotle! I got fish in my burrito and it was so delicious! The family got the #5 and two varieties of fish tacos. I got a customized burrito and it was giant and nicely filled unlike Chipotle and Salata. The tortillas are fresh pressed and the fish is freshly fried. I got the Cherry Limeade soda and it was tasty. The team worked hard to make our food. The manager went around and asked us how our food was at each table. The quality and quality for the value was fantastic and reasonably priced. We equally enjoyed ours and will be coming back.

Order through DoorDash, took a little while but it was all worth it. I got three fish tacos and let me tell you … that fish was so crispy and delicious. Nothing was over salted and it was the quickest I’ve ever eaten 3 tacos 😂

By far, the best fast service TexMex restaurant we've ever been to! Clean facility. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. I've never had a bad meal here. My normal go-to is custom to order chicken bowl. Absolutely delicious! This business is by far better freshness & value wise than Chipotle. Freebirds has now moved to my second favorite spot. And I haven't even mentioned how much better Cobo Bob's ceso & chips are. Mmm! This is a must eat at TexMex fast service restaurant! Highly recommended! Just keeps getting better!

Love their burritos. The homemade tortilla definitely puts them above Chipotle burrito. The meat to rice ratio is perfect, I get some carnitas in every bite. Sucks that their drive thru is closed down and only used for Uber eats. Ordering inside is tough with 2 small kids when I want to get my grub on.

I got the beef burrito but in a bowl. The meat tender and had a lot of flavor. The beans and rice were excellent with the cilantro all together in the bowl. I will definitely be back for this flavor full dish.

Absolutely recommend!! I pick my burrito, #6, from the board and it did not disappoint. The queso is very good and the brisket had good flavor. I add the ancho chili and it added great flavor without the spice. My husband got the #7 and loved it. I liked the drink options, Cherry lemonade was a hit. I will definitely be back to try other items.

When I say I loved loved it... The food would get a 10 star rating if I could. We have been 3 times in a week, each time I got something different. They are better than freebird and Chipotle. The options are fresh even up till close. That rootbeer and Sweet Mint Tea is to die for as well... Chick-fil-A employees has a run for the money.... The employees here are just a sweet, kind, and willing to serve....

First time trying Cabo Bob's not sure what I was expecting. At first glance I thought it was much like Chipotle but they have a few different things that just make the overall quality better! Chicken burrito bowl was so tasty and flavorful. Fish fried tacos were crispy. Burrito was very loaded and had a lot of flavors. Worth the extra dollars versus other fast burrito chain places.

I love their chicken bowls with cabbage, white rice, black beans & avocado. My favorite every time I come here. Service is fast and most employees are courteous. Always a line when I come though. But the food is worth it. Also try their hot sauce. Always bring my refill cup so save the plastic cups from there.

I came here for the first time with my two sons. We loved it!! Definitely coming back. We got the deluxe fish tacos, the brisket burrito, and steak burrito. Flavors were fabulous, you could taste the freshness of the food. Steve, the GM, is awesome!

Its really good. Its like Chipotle, build your own burrito, or the fish tacos are excellent . I get brisket. But for 10$ for a big burrito it's worth it.

Best fish tacos ever. They fry the fish right when you order it. They make the tortillas (3 flavors to choose) from a fresh dough ball while you watch on a press and cook top. Then make your burrito or tacos or bowl to order from fresh ingredients -like a Subway. Unique options are their delicious grilled zuccini, mango salsa, cabbage, and special sauces. It has a carribean feel to the food and decor. I eat there often as I can. Fish tacos (fried fish) every time.

Great food but service is fairly slow. Portion size and quality is great for price point.

Humongous burritos… I was truly craving a burrito and my last few experiences at chains like free birds and chipotle had been terribly underwhelming and I found this on Google maps and was not disappointed. A really good flavor, filling ratio, freshness (thankfully). My wife and I both got the crispy fish and it was exactly what we both wanted in a fresh limy, tomatoey burrito.

Need little build your own burrito / taco / nacho place. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. The manager came by to check on us. The ingredients are fresh. The food tasted good. I will definitely come back. On a sidenote, it’s a shame that James Coney Island could not make this location work.

Cabo Bob’s is my go to burrito place. The food always tastes fresh and the seasoning is perfect. The service is always great and it is always clean. The manager, Jeremiah, is very nice and walks around to check on the customers. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good burrito place.

Best burritos in town, I like chipotle but I love Cabo Bob's. I came and ate here with my family and they all agree 👍 it's the best place in town. Mrs. Dee is the best customer service person I have ever met. Super nice and friendly and her attitude is amazing.

Stopped by here for lunch. Had best steak burrito, baja fish tacos and chips & guac. Everything was good and the portions were generous. Nice selection of toppings and flour tortillas. The ancho chipotle flour tortilla was good but the corn tortillas were thicker than I like so they were not my favorite. Good atmosphere and good service. Glad we came here.

My top borrito place used to be freebirds, but this has blows their lid right off. They even do supermonster borritos if asked! Thanks to Chloe for stepping in and showing everyone how it's done!

We love Cabo Bob's! The food is great. Burritos are big enough to split with a friend or take half home for later. I like that you can also choose a bowl, tacos, or nachos. I also love their selection of sodas. My only complaint is I wish they used recyclable cups. Their cups are a #5 plastic that my recycling center doesn't take. Since most didn't recycle, paper cups would be best to keep more plastic from the landfill.

I cannot see myself going to a chipotle or freebirds ever again. I was recommend this place and I've been to the Katy location and this location. I love both of them. The prices are very budget friendly and the amount of food is fulfilling. Sometimes I even get the kids burrito meal since it's a small burrito (enough to satisfy), chips & queso and a small drink for $6 dollars and some change. You cannot get a meal like that anywhere!! The employees are always helpful and friendly. 5 stars 🌟

I've been to Cabo Bob's several times, and it's similar to Chipotle but with is own unique flare. Like Chipotle, they offer salads, bowls, burritos, tacos, and quesadillas, plus sides like chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole. What really sets them apart is the variety, more options overall and a wider range of proteins. My go to is the fish. You get about six pieces of fried to order tilapia that keeps me coming back. Today I went with tacos and chose the green cilantro tortillas. The fish tacos were topped with cheese, lettuce, pico, and their Chipotle salsa. Honestly, it was chef's kiss perfection. 🤌🏽😍 Definitely a spot to try if you like fresh, flavorful Mexican style food with plenty of choices.

Too funny and cute! We order from here all the time. When I order for my daughter I always have to write in the comment area to omit the ingredients she is deathly allergic to. Thank you for carefully reading the instructions. Secondly, if you have Not tried their fish burritos, oh man! You are missing out! This burrito is filled with delicious and tasty fish. The tortillas that they wrap the burrito with is so tasty! I could just eat them by it. This restaurant is always clean when I visit. Dinner tonight was great!

The quality of the meats and ingredients is awesome and the customer service is typically very quick and courteous. My wife and I tried this place out today for Valentines and it blew us away! Food is so fresh and awesome, even watched them make the various flavors of tortillas right in front of us! I had the #2 Deluxe Fish Tacos and my wife had the vegetarian burrito and we had homemade chips and queso. Fish tacos were made with crispy fish and tons of fresh mango cilantro pico and cheese and more…so great! Staff were just great, all happy and wanting to make all the customers happy. Even met the managing partner and also met the corporate head of catering. They even have breakfast! Highly highly recommended!

First time at Cabo Bob’s. I’m not a big fan of the make your own burrito, yes this includes that one competitor store too. I do like the idea of seeing the food before I order. Chips and Queso were great. The burritos will grow on me (my teenagers love them) but the service is what I’m amazed at. 4 of the 5 line workers were absolutely friendly and nice. One was having a bad day but that’s in. We are human and all have bad days. Cashier lady was super friendly and funny. Had a convo with a guy in the line that was entertaining and the vibes in the dining lobby were chill. Nice cute spot. Pure cane sugar sodas were amazing!!!

Ordered the baja fish tacos & it was actually pretty good. The tortilla held up very well and the taco size was decent, only thing that I would complain about is that the fish flavor despite having 2 pieces of decently sized fish in each taco was that it was kinda hard to taste the actual fish which was a shame cause the fish I could taste was delicious. Everything else about it was great, veggies were fresh and flavorful salsa. I would rather a standard chicken burrito but I would definitely still order the fish. Their in house drinks are okay, all very sweet.

First timer. It was pretty darn good. I had the brisket queso burrito. There were a lot of options to build the burrito which I liked so I loaded it up pretty nicely.

I really liked this place, went twice already and planning my next trip. First time I went got the #2. And it was delicious. Second time I went I got the number #2 this time it hardly had any of the mango salsa that they had put on the first but nonetheless it was delicious, along with their steak burrito. Wow the meat tasted sooo good. Their avocado tasted so fresh! And I’m just so happy I found a place that has great food and so many items to choose from. I do want to point out that the second time I went the lady that was serving my toppings was somewhat rude talking to the person next to her about none related to my order. And she kept turning to talk to her coworker without finishing my order. I found that to be very rude.

My first time trying and I didn't know they closed at 9pm(I came in about 15 minutes before closing). Everyone still gave good customer service. This place is similar style to Chipotle except with better quality food and better service. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

Finally brought my son to try the burritos. We ordered the steak and brisket burritos. And we tasted each other's burritos. They are big and they are tasty not to fond of the Ancho rancho they use but still a good place to come eat.

We had a great time at this location. Menu was great and can be substituted with anything to your liking (allergy purposes). Food was delicious and the serving is massive. We had a group so service was great and the atmosphere was good too-

I was so happy to hear that we have Cabo Bob's in and near the Houston area! I'm not sure why, but the fish tacos didn't hit like they do in Austin. Either way, though, the food was delicious! And they always have the BEST chips!!! We also got loaded nachos which we won't do again. Not because of taste, but they were LOADED! 😁 You couldn't even see the chips! 😱 Staff was super friendly and helpful! 👍

Came in for lunch the other day for the first time after seeing them in a few spots around Houston. We got a bowl and a burrito, both were good. Very standard for the type of place it is, I still prefer freebirds over this and chipotle though. Was bland compared to the other places. The hot sauce was a weird sweet bbq tasting thing, not a huge fan. Overall good.

Food is awesome but the restaurant is always dirty and unsanitary. It’s not maintained like the one by fountainview.

I had high hopes! First of all, the food is good. The wait time, however, is the pits. I preordered at 7:55 and was told 10 minutes. I arrived at 8:05 at the drive through and gave my name. I was asked to park in a spot in the front and told that they would bring it out. No problem. I worked in the restaurant industry. I know that things are not exact. 1 fish taco and 1 pork burrito was delivered at 8:35… I was so disappointed. I might visit again to see if this is a one off…

The food was on point but I wouldn't order the nachos. They let you pick the toppings for the nachos but the way they put them together is a little rough. Aside from that the number 7 was on point.

For those of you who don’t know, this is set up similar to a Chipotle… the $11 burrito was packed and stacked like Chipotle used to make them but their questionable beef (they mistakenly call it steak) is more chewy than Bubble Yum Bubble Gum, it must be from a poor man cut of beef and by poor man’s, I mean the poorest of the poor men!!! Don’t get the steak is what I’m saying here, people!!! Other than my jaw line restructuring the other ingredients seemed to be of good quality and tasted fine. Get the chicken or go meatless people… the 🥩 will bite you back!!!!

Love the fact that the Tortillas are made to order. Staff is friendly. The Fish Tacos are delicious. I also got the Burrito 🌯 it was good. I wasn't over the moon from the flavor from the chicken and steak but it was good enough to return in the future. Chips & Queso along with the Chicken Quesadilla were also good.

Came here with my husband for dinner on a week night and while my husband enjoyed his burrito, I was left a little unimpressed by my tacos. When you go inside and look at the menu it is very similar to other places where you can build your own burrito, tacos, bowls or salad with their own little twist. I was excited to see fish tacos on the menu and decided to try the number 3. I think some of the staff is new as they guy getting my tortillas ready made the wrong tortillas but the other staff members jumped in to help fix his mistake. And overall all the staff was very friendly. My husband got a brisket burrito and really enjoyed it but said his tortilla did not taste like ancho chile. My fish tacos were very wet, not sure if it was from the salsa they put on or if the cabbage had something on it but the tortillas didn't hold together well. They also give you little fish nuggets wish taste alright but for the price I wish there was some more fish on the tacos.

Not sure how the sour cream got around the tortilla but sure. Fresh tortillas, light, additions and proteins were good, the brisket was soft, not much taste, and the burrito size of course is huge but not much of a wow factor overall. I was more impressed with the root beer than the food. That drink was stellar. Small location, nice vibes, lots of staff that were mostly chit chatting, paying no mind but, definitely something to revisit later and earlier.

The place looks good and all but the food is terrible my burrito used to be great and now it changed. My burrito fell apart all over the place and I had to clean it up and last time the burrito didn’t have the right ingredients. These workers need to learn how to make a burrito

The food is alright, but they got rid of their drive through. When I'm on my lunch break, I just want a quick burrito. Going inside and being asked about every single ingredient on your burrito is a bit of a hassle. Bob sure knows how to make things inconvenient and drive away customers.

I have been going to this location since they opened and they have fallen off! Very disappointed that the chicken breast is now mixed with thighs. Not to mention most of the workers have an attitude and are not welcoming nor friendly! Will not be going back!

Although l use to frequently go to this location and in the past I've enjoyed it. My experience yesterday wasn't very pleasant. It appears to be under new management. The person who we initially encountered was fairly rude. His comments, and behaviors that I observed were completely unnecessary. They seemed to be intentionally said....like when l was placing my order l specifically asked for light on the rice and beans for my nachos....but the person who appeared to be the lead or manager mentioned to the guy preparing the order to watch portion control. Not to mention l went back to place a to go order upon getting a kids burrito mixed with two different flavors. l was asked if it was going two separate ones when l clearly said mixed. After he prepare it he slapped it onto the table to be prepared by the server....totally unnecessary attitude and behavior. Needless to say I can see why the place was pretty empty when l walked in.

Service significantly needs to be worked on!!! The lady’s at the drive through today were very rude with attitudes and kept saying “excuse me” after repeating things several times! I placed an online order that was no ready. I absolutely love this place, but after this probably won’t be back again. Please train the workers on customer services

I’ve been a customer of the Cabo Bob’s on 1960 since it first opened. When it originally launched, I appreciated not only the food but also the diversity of the staff—it felt welcoming and reflective of the community it serves. Over time, I’ve noticed a significant shift. The team now appears far less diverse than it once was, and one of the few long-standing Black employees is consistently placed in back-of-house or drive-through roles rather than customer-facing positions. As a customer, diversity and inclusion matter to me, and this change has impacted my experience. I hope leadership takes time to reflect on how staffing decisions are perceived and considers rebuilding a team that represents a broader range of backgrounds. A welcoming environment includes both food and people.

Me and my wife got the same stuff just different protein and one burrito was really small compared to the other one of course the one that is smaller is the more expensive.

Ordered a burrito 🌯 online and they decided to add all the meat in one half and all the veggies on the second half. That is NO WAY TO EAT A BURRITO. The staff weren't much helpful, always looked like they were busy with everything else. Won't be coming back here.

poor customer service, each time that I have visited this location, the guys that press the tortillas at the front are very rude. the line servers have bad attitudes also. one of the server guys basically rushed me to order & then angrily yelled at me to move up. he could have just stated, "the next server will assist you ahead."

This review is only based on drive through. Queso is pretty good. Chips are thick and hard, not to mention old, instead of light and flakey like most. Customer service lacks terribly. Female was very nonchalant and sort of rude. Hopefully they can give her a training class on how to operate when it comes to customers. She’s not just there to make money. I wouldn’t patronize this location again.

The wait times are ridiculous. First, they do not have a traditional drive thru, you have to order ahead and pick up. This takes 25-30 mins. Once, you get into the drive thru, there is an additional 20-30 minutes wait. What's the point of forcing us to order beforehand if the food is still not ready? Also, the workers are so rude. I will not be returning. Chipotle and Freebirds are less than 1 mile away.

Ordered this burrito online at 8:45pm 9/19/24. When I got home and took one bite immediately realized that something spicy was added to the burrito, I wrapped it up and put in the fridge because the placed was closed for the night. I came in today with the burrito in hand and ask to speak to the manager I explained the situation to her and told her that I would just like another burrito. I was told rudely NO! I asked her why and she told me that “ the staff wouldn’t mess up and how could she know it is something spicy on the burrito.” I was appalled who would bring in a full obviously uneaten burrito just to ask for another if something wasn’t really wrong with it! RIDICULOUS

Absolutely disgusting service. Placed online order for my daughter for pickup. Picked it up and got home and order was wrong. Sauce supposed to be on side and order was incorrect. So daughter had to drive back to return it and woman manager was terrible and basically said she was wrong and to make it clearer next time! What a way for manager to respond. No apologies at all and very rude! Will never go back here again!! Manafer should go next door to be trained by Chick fil a in customer service!

My family and I have been Cabo Bob's regulars for about a year, but lately, things have gone downhill. It seems like things changed after the manager switched a couple of months ago. Let me give you a few examples: Three months ago, my daughter kids' quesadilla came with only FIVE chips! Seriously, five! We've always gotten a huge pile before – enough to almost hide the quesadilla. The cashier said that's how it's *always* been, but that's just not true. Then, two months ago, we ordered a kids' quesadilla and some adult meals. We got our food, but after two other customers who ordered *after* us. And guess what? The quesadilla was burnt! The manager (I didn't catch her name) insisted that's how they *always* make them. Burnt tortillas? Really?! She finally agreed to remake it, but only if we waited in line again during the dinner rush – no way! She just rolled her eyes and said we'd get it "soon," which took another 10 minutes. Today, I saw the same manager making the tortillas! I hoped she wouldn't remember us, but.... We ordered nachos and a kids' quesadilla. Still, we waited ages for the quesadilla – even after several people who ordered after us got their food. Guess what?! the tortilla was burnt. I'm a big believer in giving places three chances, but unfortunately, Cabo Bob's has lost a loyal customer. It's a real shame, because we really loved it before. Maybe things will improve, but for now, we're going to try somewhere else.

I was kept waiting in the store for exactly 50 minutes. I placed my order online using the QR code and the instructions that said it would speed up the process. I asked the staff several times how long it would take. Each time, they said they didn't know. I received a message saying my order was ready. Even though I showed them the message, they still said my order wasn't ready. Finally, they gave me the order, but I couldn't believe my eyes. The bag that had been sitting at the order counter for so long was mine. They never checked. My food was ice cold. When I got home, the tortilla for the kids' tacos was stuck to the aluminum foil, and all the ingredients were scattered everywhere. My son went hungry. It was a terrible experience.

Second visit—and unfortunately, it was worse than the first. From the moment I stepped up to order, I felt rushed and unheard. I asked for three tacos, specifying two on corn tortillas and one on flour. Apparently, that wasn’t clear enough. When I clarified by saying “2 corn, 1 flour,” I was repeatedly asked if I “didn’t want this order.” A fellow customer even had to step in to help clarify. The staff seemed irritated, speaking under their breath and making me feel like a burden rather than a guest. Then came the protein order—1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 pork—but I was given 1 chicken and 2 pork instead. When I corrected it, the staff member threw the pork taco away and just replaced the meat. No apology, no acknowledgment, just more rushed behavior. Bottom line: Slow down. Greet your customers. Listen. Repeat the order back to avoid mistakes. I’ve been going here for lunch for the last six months, and the service has usually been good. However, the last couple of times I’ve gone through the drive-thru, the woman working there has been very rude. The customer service was disappointing. She didn’t tell me the total for my order—she just extended her hand for payment without saying anything. It felt unprofessional and unfriendly. I hope management addresses this because I’ve otherwise enjoyed coming here.

If you have a question about something on the menu, you may as well forget it because employees do not know. The food is mediocre at best and the employees seem to hate being there. Disappointed as we had heard good things about this place. The dining area is nice but who cares about that if the food and service isn't any good? I believe that everyone deserves a second chance so we may try it again but definitely not anytime soon.

I placed an online order for fish tacos and clearly requested the sauce on the side. Not only was the sauce missing, but the tacos came with mango and pico de gallo that I did not select. My mother picked up the order, and when I saw the mistake, I had to drive back myself to correct it. When I addressed the issue, the woman server/manager was extremely rude. She insisted the tacos “come with mango pico de gallo” even though there was no option for that online, and told me to “be more clear next time.” That is not how you speak to a paying customer who spent $15 and had to make an extra trip because of the restaurant’s mistake. The bag was handed back to me wrinkled and the entire interaction left me angry and disgusted. I expect better professionalism and respect when dining here.
