Highly recommended place. Visited there for the first time this evening. Nice atmosphere. Really sweet waitress. Excellent.... Amazing food. Mariscada, Carne Asada and Chicken/cheese pupusa. Delicious!!
The food is always excellent quality and portions are generous. They make your food to order so it's always fresh and it can take a little longer than your average fast food place. Expecto to hear very loud Christian music and find many christian sings and motifs..
I’ve been coming here over a decade. I love the papusas , fruit salad drink and tamales. Customer service is always great.
This is a very casual spot that’s always busy on the weekends. My family and I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. We usually visit on a weekend because it’s about a 40 minute drive from where we stay. That alone should speak volumes towards how good the pupusas are. I’ve tried just about every dish they offer over the years but i usually order a classic breakfast dish that comes with egg, pupusa, rice beans and a tamale on the side if my apatite is bigger then usual. I would recommend visiting when you have time as sometimes the wait for your food can be upwards of 20+ minutes. The staff is friendly and if you find yourself not liking a dish they are willing to replace it for you. They also sell desserts and sweet bread which we often purchase to eat later at home with coffee.
The service was amazing and very friendly. We only ordered pupusas and they were huge and delicious. Will go again soon.
Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. This place is owned by proud Christians who play inspiring music over the loudspeakers and serve delicious and filling pupusas, yucca, chicharron, tamales, baked goods, and larger dinner plates. They give you ample servings of pickled cabbage which complements the delicious home cooked warmth of the main dishes with a tangy and spicy crunch. They offer both a spicy and homestyle cabbage. The agua frescas are fruity and flavorful. We tried the marañon and the guanabana which were both tasty. The service staff are friendly and helpful! Top notch Salvadorian food. Their portions, preparations, and people are great examples of applied Christian principles.
They have some good pupusas. I also got the carne asada plate and the fresh tortillas are soooo good! Bc I didn’t speak Spanish it was a little of language barrier but they finally got someone to our table who spoke some English. That isn’t a big deal. The food literally spoke for itself
Had been intrigued but finally made it here and got it to-go. Got the "Special B", which came with a tamale (chicken), 2 pupusas (chicken), plaintains, refried beans, and pickled cabbage (regular). Everything was delicious and flavorful. It was a good value for the price; this plate could be easily shared among two people. Service was fast and friendly. It would be nice to dine in next time.
I love this restaurant. They have an extense menu with Salvadoran food and some delicious pupusas. As well as a Bakery with delicious pastry. They have one of the best costumer service in restaurants that I've been. The staff are nice and always friendly. We ordered some pupusas with "chicharrón" (Revueltas) and fried plantains. They were sweet, tasty and in its point. The pupusas were good as always. They are practicing social distancing right now sitting customers in every other table. Also they are giving the Curtido and the salsas in desechables containers.
Absolutely wonderful food, the place seems very homely and inviting, the service was great even people from the kitchen came to check on me and how I was if I needed anything and what I thought of the food. My bill came up to around $8 which infeel was extremely cheap for the amount and quality of the food and the while experience. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.
Dinora’s Bakery is a delightful gem in Houston! The delicious food and exceptional service make it a must-visit spot. Located conveniently off Ella Boulevard and FM 1960, it's a quiet, clean haven for those craving authentic Salvadoran cuisine. While the beans and rice were a tad cold during my visit, the mouthwatering Pupusas and delightful breakfast options more than made up for it. A family favorite for sure!
Tasty pupusas! The order took a bit long to come out, but they were a decent size and the flavor was nice. I would have liked them to be a bit warmer, though. The customer service was excellent. Very kind people!!! Not once was there any kind of attitude. It felt very homey and authentic. Would recommend, and am definitely coming here again! **UPDATE** Dropped down to 3 stars because I took a chicken flour pupusa to go and they gave me a corn cheese pupusa after I specified twice. Still good service though.
Walked in and sat down for 10 minutes and no one even came by to attend us. There were also 7 tables that haven’t been cleaned up yet. Didn’t even get to order anything and walked out.
