This family-style meal was a truly enjoyable experience, marked by an impressive array of delectable dishes. As a party of 13 celebrating a friend's birthday, we found the portions to be generous, allowing each guest to indulge in two servings of every dish. Our meal commenced with the chef's signature Caesar salad, followed by an impressive selection of appetizers, including the exceptional Wagyu beef meatballs, which were a personal highlight. Initially assuming this to be the entirety of the meal, we were delighted to discover that the main course would exceed our expectations. Every dish was expertly seasoned, showcasing the chef's skill, from the tender beef tenderloin medallions to the succulent shrimp scampi, which proved to be my favorite. The lasagna, rich and creamy with a perfect balance of ricotta cheese, and the chicken parmesan, cooked to perfection and served with a tangy sauce, were equally impressive. The dessert course, for which we ordered the entire selection, concluded the meal on a high note, with the cheesecake being my top recommendation. I would highly recommend this restaurant to those with robust appetites, as every aspect of the meal was outstanding from start to finish. Our waiter's exceptional service also deserves recognition, as his expert guidance and attentive nature significantly enhanced our dining experience.

Always an experience when we go to Maggianos in any town. We will miss Gigis Butter Cake but enjoyed some excellent lunch specials finished with warm apple Crostada and Italian donuts.

Attended a Women's Holiday Prayer Brunch in a private room. The holiday decorations were truly picture perfect. It has been years since I visited this restaurant. I definitely enjoyed my nreturn and as on the past the food was delicious. I plan to visit again soon.

I have wanted to try Maggianos for years and finally we made it in. It did not disappoint. The food was very good and consistent across the menu. Doing the family style option is probably the best bet but you better be hungry and ready to eat if you want to get your money's worth! The salads were both great, lasagna was good, and the strawberry shortcake was the best dessert. The atmosphere is cozy Italian, easy to talk, and family friendly. Our waitress was excellent, the most personal and genuine ive had in a long time.

Took a lunch break here with a coworker since it was such a beautiful day and the place was just a quick walk from the office. The atmosphere immediately gave off that classic Irish pub vibe — warm, inviting, and nicely decorated with comfortable chairs and bar stools. It’s the kind of spot that feels equally great for a casual lunch or an after-work hangout. I decided to try their Ducky Dog with fries and paired it with an unsweetened iced tea. The food was tasty and satisfying — a good hearty lunch that hit the spot. The only minor downside was that the food took a little longer than expected to come out, especially since the place wasn’t too busy at the time. But honestly, the wait wasn’t a big deal because the service made up for it. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and checked in just the right amount. I also noticed they have two dart boards, which I thought was awesome — perfect for hanging out after work or on a weekend. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back, and next time I plan to stop by during non-working hours to try some drinks and maybe a few rounds of darts.

I had such a great experience at Ducky McShweeney’s Pub! The food was delicious and exactly what you’d hope for in a cozy pub setting. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, perfect for enjoying a night out with friends. The happy hour deals are amazing from 11 to 6 every single day of the week! It’s hard to beat those prices and the variety they offer. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Eliot, was absolutely fantastic friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. He truly added to the overall positive vibe of the night. Ducky McShweeney’s ambiance and vibes are one of the most chill spots in Houston to go to. This will be your go to place if you want to watch sports, have a good meal, and most importantly to have a great drink! Camille, Bartender, was very helpful and had great insights when it came to choosing drinks and food off the menu. She prepares good drinks and has the most friendliest attitude. She will acknowledge you and make sure that you are being taken care of, which is one of the many things that Ducky McSheeney’s place has to offer. Camille recommended the Lobster Crab Puffs as an appetizer, and it was so delicious! The Lobster Crab Puffs were in an egg roll with Kanikama, Cream Cheese, lobster, and tempura fried. In addition, the vegetables fried rice was so good and delicious! I highly recommend checking out this spot if you’re looking for a game to watch, great music, great food, and most importantly want a bartender friendly as Camille to make sure your experience is always great!

TONY our bartender was so friendly and informative of all the food and upcoming events, can get sushi from next door. Great place to watch sports! Ended up grabbing a pizza to go! I had the pleasure of visiting this place for a Christmas party last year 24. And this place is definitely a hidden gem. As I walked into the place i was taken away by the beautiful Christmas decorations that was placed throughout the bar. The people there was very nice and it seems everyone was just hanging out having a good time. What's surprise me more is the hidden bar that is through the employee only doors. Walking to the hidden bar upstairs, I was amazed at how l beautiful the decorations were there also. Upstairs included a full bar. Seating area such as booths and cozy sofas . They also had a man cave, which hold chairs made for kings as TVs surround the walls all around. The food was delicious. I will say I didn't care for their pizza but they fried chicken is definitely 100 out of 10. Bless the chef that fried that chicken.

Though definitely Americanized, this "Irish" Pub has given me a new respect for sports bars, especially if they're Irish themed! The dishes that are considered Irish/British are shepherds pie and the fish in chips, the fish and chips are Americanized but taste brilliant. Chips and cheese are decent and the buffalo wings are deep-fried/the highlight. Very enjoyable experience, very enjoyable atmosphere!

Me and my wife were just driving around being random and the name only had us like woah! We have to walk in there luckily it was steak night! Cesear was our bartender pretty cool guy informative and friendly. As far as bites we tried the queso, my wife liked it but i did not the ground beef we added was bland not even any salt the queso wasn't seasoned overall just didnt taste like anything bthe steak though😮 freakin amazing! That guy if you read this man we will see u soon for another! The dessert was very good! Cream brulee 😋 love the place looks amazing the music surprisingly on point we will be back

Recently hosted a Gatsby theme fundraiser party for a neighborhood school’s PTO, in the speakeasy upstairs… Literally did not have to bring any decor and barely lifted a finger regarding what was needed/requested. The space upstairs was beyond our expectations! Christina, their event coordinator, was amazing and responsive with all communication throughout the process. Jay, on the management team, was also quite the asset, taking care of us throughout the evening. Both Christina & Jay, along with their bartenders gave us hands down, the best experience and service! Everyone was professional and charismatic. Our party is appreciative of all their efforts, making our nite one for the books. 10/10 recommend

This plans has a delightful spread of sweet and savory options (my favorite were the pancakes and French toast). During the weekend they have brunch, and on Sundays they have life music until 4pm and happy hour all day! There is also steak hot on Thursday(5pm to 9pm). I can’t wait to go back!

Ambiance: Nice-casual Italian eatery in The Galleria area with a large menu and ample seating options. Great spot for a date night, family lunch, or solo dinner at the bar. Perfect for celebrating any occasion given their expansive menu. Highly recommend their crab cakes and house salad! Great portion size for the price. Nicely decorated and good service. Maggiano's is one of the better chain Italian restaurants IMO. Decent wine list and drink options. Parking onsite. Close to many other shops/restaurants.

The rating is actually a 4.5. Our company just had a holiday party on their second room. The bartender did a GREAT job. Please give him a raise. Holiday decorations throughout the restaurant is amazing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pub scene with an awesome late-night DJ 🎶🍻. The food here is surprisingly good—honestly, the best fish and chips I’ve had in a while 🐟🍟. Do yourself a favor and get the wings with the Asian sauce 🍗🔥. It’s not always on the menu, but ask your waitress, and she’ll hook you up. Pro tip: the sushi next door is quick, fresh, and delicious 🍣—you can order it from the pub too! This is a great spot to catch some football (aka soccer ⚽) or other sports games. Tons of fans show up, so if you’re planning to watch, be sure to reserve a table or check the boards to see what local groups are coming to watch which games 📺🏆. The staff can be a little slow when things get busy, but hang tight—they’re super friendly and always take care of you with a smile 😄🍀. Late-night vibes are killer with a DJ keeping the party going 🎧💥. It’s got that classic Irish pub feel, and of course, we couldn’t leave without knocking back a few pints of Guinness 🍺 and some Irish Car Bombs 🍻. Definitely worth the visit!

Get it together Maggiano's! First off, food was AMAZING! But the service is sub par. The restaurant was barely half full and we waited forever for our wine, then had to pour our own glasses. Fruit fly everywhere and where did the flooring go? Rustic is not your style. :(

I got the Rigatoni all Vodka. It was A+ soo good. the bread and the butter they use as well very nice. My only complaint is that the shrimp was over cooked and it was 4 or 5 pieces of shrimp for an extra 9$ which I thought was ridiculous, it was rubber!!!! I ordered on door dash and could not get a refund very upset by that. Otherwise the pasta and bread were a 5 out of 5. Also the food is very expensive, I think it was like 30$ for a plate of pasta.

I've gone here twice and really tried to like this place, but both times the fish and chips failed. It was our sole purpose for going based on reviews. The service is good and the happy hour menu was ok. The first time the fish was one big soggy plank, which was a shame because the actual fish was fresh. The second time, we decided to ask for strips and it was MUCH worse. Extra heavy breading with little strips of meat inside. The waitress was shocked at the pile of thick, uncooked dough. I also ordered the beef stew and was going to just take it home because I didn't want to complain about the entire meal. After showing the bowl of brown water with barely any other ingredients, our waitress insisted on removing it from the bill. It's a nice atmosphere for sports fans and cold beer, but the food could use some help. We still spent $170 Lol The sushi next door was a hit and you can order from Duck's...they're service is also very good!

Ducky McShweeney’s Pub is a solid spot to stop in for a cold beer. I’ve only tried the fish and chips, and while the flavor was fine, the batter turned out a bit soggy, which took away from the crisp texture you’d normally expect from fried fish. The tartar sauce also seemed more like plain mayo, which was a bit disappointing. That said, other reviews highlight that they serve a great steak, so I’d consider giving that a try on a future visit. Overall, it’s still a place worth checking out—give it a shot and see what you think.

We had lunch on a Tuesday, not busy at all. We thought the name of this place was too funny to pass up. Our food was perfect and delicious. However, our server didn't check back in with us after food was served. My daughter wanted another cocktail. We noticed our server trying to change the settings on the televisions for 15-20 minutes. We finally flagged down another server and asked for our check. Not sure I'll return.

I tried to give this place two chances, but it just never met my expectations. The service is not the best at all and it looks like they’re short staffed too. While the waffles were good, the chicken was very crispy. I had to tell them to remake it, and they still made it too crispy again. I definitely will not be coming back and I won’t be recommending this place to my friends or family.

After 20 years, I could never in good conscience walk into this restaurant ever again. Everything is downgraded. When I started coming here you would get sit down with the nice wonderful bread, oil, herb pepper mix. It would be perfect!!!! Now, it is a reheated Hawaii style roll that’s plain cheap. The new menu is a complete cheap knock off of what it used to be. I used to order the shrimp in crab Tropheo which is in a picture from years ago . Now you can just just plain Jane overcooked unsalted terribleness. They don’t even have lump crab to add to anything anymore. They bring you an overcooked kind of like a deep fried frozen crabcake. The service. I used to appreciate the servers, knowing the menu, trying to sell you a product that they actually believe in…… now you have sales competitions and them trying to force you to buy stuff. My last visit: December 7, 2025 we went there for my daughter’s birthday and the waitress was very forceful on us trying to get this family style meal even though that all the Meals that we wanted were outside the family style meal plan. After we ordered, her exact words were oh I’m gonna put that in as the family style and I will get you everything that y’all want. There were four adults and three children. Are appetizers that we ordered were only fried mozzarella and the crab cake. She purposely brought out two orders of fried mozzarella, and Kinda avoided us until the entrées came. While I followed my toddler son around I noticed that there was two other servers behind the bar bragging about how many family style meals that they have sold. I asked him if there was a competition going on and then jokingly told me yes. The crab cakes that I ordered was outside the family style meal and also the lobster carbonara did not go into the family style plan. When the entrée showed up, I told her I no longer wanted the appetizer crabcake and it did not seem to face her at all because honestly, I don’t think that she even ordered it to keep the family style on the receipt. When the bill came, she attempted to charge us for four adults and three children on the family style plan, even though that I ordered an appetizer that did not come out and an entrée that did not fit inside for family style plan. After I explained this to her, she was almost offended and she said that if she took it off, but she would be in trouble. I told her that I did not care if she got in trouble because the service was terrible and she did not listen to us in the first place. Why would you charge for four adults in the family style plan when my order alone set outside the plan altogether. It was there at that moment that I clicked that she was going to do whatever she wanted to do just to pass a competition. When she handed us the credit card leader after payment it was immediately tapped on 25% tip. The audacity. The pictures I’ve added is an entrée that will probably never exist in the shell of what it used to be, also of a picture of me and my wife on one of our first dates where I was showing her what real Italian food used to be.

Not to be one of those people who complain online, but I felt mistreated today at Ducky McShweeney’s. A man named Cesar Rojas Jr. singled me out and asked security to have me leave because of a past incident( that happened 7 months ago) he had with someone else I met there. I had nothing to do with that situation, yet today he took it out on me. This made me feel so subhuman, and I don’t know if it was racial or some other kind of bias, but it made me feel really bad. No one deserves to be treated that way. He acted like he owned the place and I didn’t argue, I just left quietly. All I wanted was to enjoy a Guinness and the pepperoni pizza, which I love here. I was here just last week watching the Canelo fight with no issues. This felt unfair and personal, as though Cesar had a bias against me. The guard and Sabrina the bartender were very kind and professional, so this is not about them. It is about how Cesar treated me. Unfortunately, I would caution others to be careful who they deal with here.
