This is by far the best Fogo location in existence- I’m not lying! The service was amazing- I really have to brag on our bartenders for their wonderful attitude and for being so accommodating! They even offered a chefs tasting menu for us since they were launching new menu items! 10/10 will be back!

Went for our anniversary. First time here. Our waitress Mariam was wonderful. She explained how it worked. She made great suggestions for the salad bar, drinks, and even made sure we had specific meats we wanted stop by for us. The entire staff was excellent with their service. The managers also stopped by to chat and check in with us several time. We loved it and can't wait to return.

Great food, fantastic service, very nice restaurant! I love the wide variety of choices here. It’s worth it to treat yourself to a meal here. The meats are very well seasoned and they will bring your meats tableside, giving the diner the choice of how done it is, so it’s the way you like it. The salad bar is huge, fresh, and filled with my favorite things, including fresh salmon and a huge variety of fruits and marinated vegetables, as well as more traditional salads. Picana and Lamb chops are my personal favorites on meats but they have, well, pretty much everything! Don’t miss out on Fogo!

My first visit to Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse in Houston was AMAZING! I’ve been to other locations before, but this experience was truly outstanding. Our server, Mycheal, was phenomenal—super friendly, incredibly attentive, and made the whole evening even better. He recommended a cocktail that ended up being the best I’ve ever had! The service was top-tier and I honestly have zero complaints. If you visit, definitely ask for Mycheal—you won’t regret it!

This was my first time dining at Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, and it exceeded all expectations. We were there to celebrate our uncle’s birthday, and the experience was incredible from start to finish. When our bartender Sandro found out it was his birthday, he went out of his way to make it special — personally wishing him a happy birthday and surprising him with a complimentary dessert. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. We'll definitely be returning soon!

We enjoyed a wonderful brunch experience this weekend. The staff was friendly, the restaurant is beautiful with the white linen tablecloths and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the omelet station, the maple black pepper bacon was amazing and the drinks were great! We will come back for another fantastic brunch soon. 11/22: We choose this location for our Anniversary and I can't say they didn't deliver. This place was great; we have no complaints. Good place to have lots of meat, especially beef. We went there for lunch, they had only beef, one type of pork and sausage, no seafood, chicken or duck. But the food is delicious, the salad bar has great varieties and fresh. Creme Brulee is nice. Chocolate dessert is too sweet. They offered a complimentary dessert for our birthday celebration. Overall, a consistent choice.

My husband and I came for our 9th anniversary. It was my first time and I truly enjoyed everything from the salad bar and ongoing dinner selections. We also enjoyed our Tres Leches dessert! Chris was great and so kind to take a picture of us.

What a great dinner! Wonderful service, very kind and attentive. The market table was an adventure all on its own, full of flavor with a lot of different things to try. Outstanding meat selections, the churrasco experience was really fun :) Grilled cheese with hot honey was a delightful surprise! The best part about the whole visit was their gluten free options, the bread is out of this world. The atmosphere was excellent, busy and loud, but not overwhelming. This was my mom's first time at a restaurant like this so she didn't know what to expect lol, but she really enjoyed herself. 2/14/25 boyfriend took me here for Valentines night. Reservation for 730. Started off with valet parking 👍🏽 sat us and explained how the food was served. You go to the all you can eat salad bar. Most of it I had no idea what I was eating, but I like to try new things so it was ok, the rice and gravy was really good. You have a heart on your table that you flip over for green when you want meat served to you or flip over for red if you have had enough. Omg so much meat. Prime rib, chicken, meat wrapped in bacon, the pork belly was my absolute favorite. And the lamb was good too. So much different kinda of meat. They also bring you cheese filled lil biscuit balls, fried cheese with honey. My glass of moscato di asti was delicious. Atmosphere was nice although I don’t think is a place for small children. I had a baby screaming to my right of me and behind me was another toddler on his iPad watching cartoons which the volume was on high. It was so annoying. Like it’s Valentine’s Day, date night, sweethearts day, take your kids to McDonald’s. I was so happy and more comfortable when they left. Also very very pricey. For just 2 of us, with 2 alcohol drinks was $163, $183 with tip. I don’t think it was worth that much. But to each is own. Enjoy your time here. Probably won’t be back. But not because of service, service was great. But for the price, the over all food, was not for me.

We had an 11:30 reservation on Saturday to celebrate my husband’s “70” birthday. We walked in and there was no one there to greet us . It appeared that everyone was running behind and trying to setup for customers. The hostess that sat us was not very friendly. Once we were seated about 12 minutes past and no one came over so we just decided to go to the salad bar . Another 5 minutes passed and finally someone brought over water and bread. They were slow to bring out the meat. We’ve been coming to this location for over 4 years to celebrate our anniversary, birthdays and Father’s Day ( 3-4 times a year). We finally got an amazing server( older gentleman in blue shirt). We asked what was his name but I’m sorry I can’t remember it. He made the rest of our time fantastic.

We came for our anniversary. The overall service was great. The lady was really kind and understanding when I didn’t like a specific drink. She made sure we got the meat of our chosen. The salad bar section doesn’t have much variety. We have come for years and most of the time it’s stayed the same. The meat was quite the taste. We hoped for a more variety of meat, as it was very repetitive and the meat guys kept coming to our table with the same meats. I do appreciate whenever we request for our meat to be well done as most of them were medium rare. My partner loved loved the side dishes which was the mashed potato, bread rolls and the yellow sticks. We loved loved loved the Pineapple Mint Lemonade. Wow I was shocked. As it was our anniversary we got a compliment dessert. We decided to get the 3 leches and it was so delicious and creamy! I don’t think this is a place to come often. Would definitely look into trying other places.

We went for our anniversary. It's great! However, I gave 4/5 starts because I definitely think they should have a business casual dress code. The photos and Google showed light elegant/business casual photos. We were super excited to get dressed up andhave fun which we did. But I have a constructive criticism id like to suggest... On this particular night, there was a lot of what looked like young entrepreneurs in gym like clothes, and other visters who looked as comfortable as possible regulars (just didn't care for apparel), it confused me on the restaurants etiquette and standard they show on their website, Google and other social platforms.. Idk, I feel like some restaurants like these can lose their unique "top" experience when they don't hold a level of respect to keep that "top" experience alive by turning away certain lack of etiquette. However, overall the service, chefs, and restaurant was fantastic and I highly recommend it. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my hubby. I just made this rate of suggestion as a thought from my personal first time experience from what was expected visually, to what I noticed at such a top experience restaurant. Just my own personal opinion..

I had a tasty lunch at Fogo recently. The food was good, and the service was great. I didn’t give it a 5th star, because i expect the food to be great. Much if the beef was too fatty. It was a different experience than what I remember from my first dinner there 20 years ago. The building is showing its age in several areas. And, the location is not good. Lots of people use the parking lot to walk to the Walmart across the street, and someone in my party had their car window smashed and contents stolen. Hate to say it, but I would choose other options that serve more consistent food and better locations.

This restaurant was located pretty close to our hotel. Walked in, spacious restaurant, greater than seated. The menu is salad bar and meat, what you want from a decent Brazilian restaurant. The food is tasty and there is plenty of it! Be prepared to be full quickly, it just happens!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. The service and atmosphere was amazing and romantic. The cocktail was superb. And salad bar was unique and I enjoyed the several selections. My boyfriend got a complimentary deserve for his birthday. However, some of the meats were not that tasteful.

I came here for lunch with a group of eight to celebrate the New Year and had a great experience. I really enjoyed the fresh, well-stocked salad bar and the wide variety of freshly cut meats served tableside. The service was excellent, and our waiter even treated us to a complimentary dessert to share, which was a lovely touch. Great place for a group celebration.

On arrival, the valet parking was very convenient. I arrived 15 minutes early for my reservations i made for lunch. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with asparagus. This is coupled with an all you can eat salad bar. I also ordered the lobster mac and cheese. Everything was satisfactory. My waiter was solid. He explained what they were offering very clearly. I will definitely be back.

Visited Fogo de Chão recently and it was an enjoyable Brazilian steakhouse experience overall. The continuous tableside service of various cuts of meat was impressive—some like the picanha and lamb chops were juicy and flavorful, while a few others were slightly over-salted or dry. The Market Table was a standout with its fresh salads, cured meats, and unique sides like hearts of palm and feijoada. The cheese bread (pão de queijo) was addictive! Service was attentive and prompt, though the pace of meat servings varied depending on where you are seated. Desserts were mostly fruits but definitely go for the meats and salad bar rather than saving room for sweets. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it if you’re going with a hearty appetite or celebrating something special.

This was my first time visiting Fogo, and I chose it to celebrate my 12th anniversary—after all, what better place than the renowned Fogo for such a special occasion? The food was very good, with excellent quality and preparation. The staff was friendly, but due to the overwhelming number of guests, the service wasn’t able to reach a truly personalized level. The most notable concern was the atmosphere. The restaurant feels like it no longer has any soul. The dining area is packed with too many tables, creating an environment so loud and crowded that it becomes difficult to hold a conversation with the person next to you, and even harder to hear the server. This setup suggests a prioritization of revenue over guest experience—an approach that may, over time, affect customer loyalty and the overall reputation of the establishment. For now, returning is not an option for me.

This location wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The items on the brunch cold table looked withered and dried out, as if they were out on the table from Friday to Saturday's brunch. It wasn't pleasant to the eye, so I didn't eat from the cold table but I did get me a omelet made to order and it was good. The Brazilian cheese bread was good, as well as the fried plantains. The meat that was served was good, just not seasoned well. Overall my family did enjoy the outing.

Our visit to the restaurant started out great. The food was delicious, especially the picanha, and the service was excellent. We also appreciated the pleasant atmosphere. Regrettably, our experience was ruined when I became ill with symptoms of food poisoning not long after we left.

The service we received today was not up to the usual standard. My husband and I placed our drink orders simultaneously; however, while my drink was delivered promptly, he had to request his lemonade three separate times. Each request was followed by a wait of approximately five to six minutes. We were not checked on during our meal, which prevented me from requesting a sauce. Our drinks were never refilled, and it was fortunate that we had a bottle of sparkling water, which we consumed entirely. Additionally, there was a considerable wait for our bill. We had hoped for a more positive experience, as is typically the case.

The service was pretty awful and the waiters kept offering us chicken wings and the worst cuts of meat. Some of the meat was dry. Fogo de Chao is way better.

Food was great and delicious, we were sat down at a decent time. Even though we had reservations it was a first come first serve. It took a while until they came to our table and serve meat. I had to ask for drinks to about 3 different servers before I got my second drink and again 3 different servers again for my third drink. There was one point where they stoped serving meat completely to our table. Maybe because it was Valentine’s Day and weren’t ready for the occasion.

Unfortunately on this day our table was passed by to many times and didn't experience the full fun of the pleasure meaning of the quality meats , I was ok with just salad Im not to much of a meat eater but my hubby is a fan of steaks and meats there for because he was'nt satisfied I give this restraunt a thumbs down. Maybe if the guys holding the meat would attend to All tables that would be a different rate. The point is not flagging them down to be attended there are bits that we place on table top to insure we need meat , I even placed my bit to get the extra but that didn't work ,the table across from us the girl there was eating meat like no other, but not once did the guys view our table, no excuses , the place was not packed. Friday night at 730 with reservations, and VIP. I do say the check was brought to our table very fast 😔 They did reduce the price after we let them know with no issue , but was looking forward to a great dinner that night. If the restaurant invited us with complimentary maybe we would then try again. Don't get us wrong we will pay full anytime, that's never the case when we dine. Just was unfortunate on this night.

I went 01/20/26 —- l've been to several diff Fogo locations throughout the country, probably around 50 times but this was my first time at this location. Overall mid, the service from the servers was fine, but I paid for the the FULL and saw less than half the meat! I asked 5x about bringing over certain meats or even the rest of them and it didn't happen. One of them clearly had a dull knife because he couldn't cut anything, the mashed potatoes came out an hour into dinner like what's the point at that point lol. So idk what was happening this Friday night but super unimpressed. Will I go back to Fogo? Of course it's my fav restaurant, will I go back to this location? Nope. Step it up, if someone is paying for FULL then make sure they’ve received the value.

What we thought would be a memorable brunch turned into a memorable lesson in patience.The salad bar was still reliable. Then we flipped our cards to green and waited excitedly for the churrasqueria magic to begin. Ten minutes later… nothing. No gaucho, no meat, no service, just us staring at an empty plate. We assumed it was because the restaurant was busy, but from that moment on, “wave and beg” became the norm. Even the busser managed to add a little attitude for extra flavor when we asked for help. By the end, we got to try maybe four meat options. So much for the “full churrasqueria experience.” To top it off, a manager randomly approached us to ask if everything was okay, what an irony. And then naturally, the check showed up lightning-fast, complete with a generous suggested tip. Sadly, it’s obvious the service culture here has taken a serious dive. It wasn't our first time but we won’t be back anytime soon.

It has been awhile since I went to Fogo de Chao. I always love their cheese puff but was disappointed when I went few days ago! They must have changed the recipe, it was so soft and chewy anymore not to mention they were not hot like fresh off the oven!

First time here to this location for a group reservation on saturday jan 17. Service was spectacular but food was not great. It took them forever to bring the steaks when 3 people on my side of the room ordered ribeyes and we never got them after 35 mins of letting the servers know several times. . And when the food did come to our tables half the meat was luke warm at best. Seafood tower and the desserts were fantastic but fogo de Chao in the woodlands and casa do Brazil on westheimer is better. Not sure if id come back to this loxation

Yesterday, my wife and I took our two sons to Fogo de Chão on Westheimer around 5:30 PM for an early New Year’s dinner — and the experience was nothing short of insulting. From the moment we sat down, the waiter treated us like we weren’t worth his time. He kept pushing the full experience on us even after we told him multiple times that we had been there before and wanted the single meat option with the salad bar. It felt like he just didn’t want to accept our choice. We finally placed our order, and then we sat there for 17 minutes before a single piece of meat made it to our table. When we ordered wine, it got even worse. He kept pushing the pricier bottles again and again, like we weren’t allowed to choose for ourselves. We politely chose the house red, and the second we did, his entire attitude changed — he disappeared, ignored our table, and acted like we stopped existing. Is this really how customers are treated when they don’t buy the most expensive items? Do they ever stop to think maybe people have a budget, or that not everyone can just throw money around? Because service was delayed from the start, we ended up eating mostly from the salad bar just to avoid starving, which completely defeats the purpose of going there in the first place. The whole experience felt dismissive, uncomfortable, and frankly humiliating. After this, we will never go back.

I was celebrating my birthday and we were ther since 11:30am and we waited around 30min just to get served again I only got the Pichana and I’m sure that passsed by a lot go tiems we were practically invisible asked for the mana around 3 times we had to go to the host and go oat because we waiting around 20min fo that they could take our check and pay the girl at the bar helped us out and she gave me my dessert but I was very disappointed on the service we didn’t get the stuff we wanted even tho it passed by us multiple tiems they did not stop again INVISIBLE we were at the edge where people walk so we’re were noticeable but they walked by us as if we did. Not exist my favorite fogo de chai but very dissatisfied and disappointed

I have always had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday at this place, but this time it was a disastrous experience. Bad experience for an important date. We waited at the table for 20 minutes to be served. The drinks arrived in over 10 minutes. The meat was not worth mentioning. The supervisor came over and only said sorry. Very bad service. I will never return. UPDATE . 02-16-25 It may be one of the worst restaurants in the Houston area but the customer service is the worst. They asked for my phone number and email to contact me and after 3 weeks of sending the email they never contacted me.

The food was less than the usual experience. However, we usually get great service. But, it seems one of the workers brought his family to restaurant, the meat skewers were all headed to that table and everyone else was waiting. I had to ask for the manager to get food for our table. The 3 of us ended paying $250 with no alcohol. It’s definitely not worth it. Most likely, we won’t be going back to this place again.

I truly don’t understand the good reviews here. Dined at 7 last night. Firstly we told the server it was our first time he ran through the menu explanations and the full or premium experience and we never confirmed which we wanted he just assumed I suppose and although there are à la carte entrees and sides we never got to order those because after we ordered waters and a non alcoholic bev he was not seen again for another 25 minutes and I wanted to order wine and 2 sides but at this point I was irritated. Second they offer atleast 12 meat options. In 1 hour we were offered 4 of them, twice they came by with the same ones we already had and after requesting sausage and pork we only got sausage. Had our green cards up for 10 minutes and no one stopped so at this point I’m upset. For the price point this place was so disappointing. No meat wowed me, the service was terrible. The worst part was I asked to speak to a manager and all the sudden my server appeared at the table. He asked how he could help I said I would like a manager. He said I am customer service. I said what does that mean he said repeated I am customer service. I said ok I just want the check. He said no please tell me what happened or what’s wrong. So I told him everything from above in a very nice way because I don’t want anything free it’s not about money for me at all and I said the place was entirely too big with not enough staff and etc. the wait times and how he never came back. He argued with me back and forth about how he checked on us multiple times. 2 times in 1 hour btw. 3rd time was to ask to remove a plate from the table. Either way I don’t want to argue with him so I again ask for the check and he brings it by with a discount. Never have I heard of managers in a restaurant being the servers as well. Will never come back to this unprofessional place. Save your money.

I was really excited to try Fogo de Chão, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to the hype or the price. The service was disappointing from the start. Our waitress seemed bothered whenever we asked for anything and was very short with us. She disappeared for a large portion of our visit and only reappeared to drop off the check, which made us feel overlooked and rushed out. As for the food, we constantly had to ask for different meats because the same 5 options kept coming around over and over again. For a restaurant known for variety, this was very underwhelming. The salad bar was small and nothing special. Most meats were either burnt or dry! Paying $140 for essentially the same 5 meats, a limited salad bar, and poor service just wasn’t worth it. For the price and experience, Chama Gaucha does it much better. Sadly, this visit was a letdown and I don’t see myself returning.

This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had at Houston location. The servers at Fogo de Chão Houston were rude, dismissive, and openly disrespectful. It honestly felt like we were being rage-baited on purpose—ignored, talked down to, and treated like we didn’t matter at all. While every other table around us was being served fresh, hot steak, we were repeatedly given cold, dry leftovers. You could clearly see the difference. Same cuts, completely different quality. It felt intentional and humiliating. We paid the same high price as everyone else but were treated like second-class customers. No apology, no accountability, no effort to fix the situation. For a restaurant that claims to be upscale and premium, this was embarrassing. Rude service, stale food, and zero respect for guests. We will never return, and I would strongly warn others to think twice before spending their money here.

Unfortunately, my visit was really disappointing. I sat in the bar area which was warm due to issues with AC and not one time did the staff offer to relocate because of the warmth I ordered a cucumber mint smash which was light and refreshing I ordered from the menu call SHAREABLE plates But received what was like a small sized crab cake and also ordered the Lamb lollipops which where sent back because they where RAW the location that’s off Richmond is way better will not return to this ever again

Do not recommend. Fogo de Chão used to be a very accommodating family place. I remember you could even get a suit to wear to match proper dress code over 10 years ago. But now, you have to wait over 20 minutes just to get your drink refilled. The meat quality is good, but the rate at which is being served certainly isn’t worth the amount of money you pay for such service. Sometimes the manager walks around and drops off food at your table without asking you if you want or telling you what it is. Everything at the salad bar looks and tastes stale and old. You can see the crusty residue of sauce and fats on certain items from the salad bar from how long they been just sitting there. It was very disappointing that I got hinted to close my tab sooner than I got offered my second refill after being there for a total of 50 minutes. I got there hungry, and left hungry and unsatisfied. It’s a complete waste of money. Go check out Chama Gaúcha instead! EDIT: They had replied to my review inviting me to message them and then they deleted the comment. This location has some serious leadership issues (screenshot photo added at the end)

We’ve dined at Fogo de Chão several times before, but this recent visit was extremely disappointing. Despite making a reservation well in advance and arriving five minutes early, we were made to wait over 45 minutes in a packed, hot, and humid lobby with very limited seating. The front-of-house staff were rude and unwelcoming, and to make matters worse, the AC vents in the standing area were dripping water—an unacceptable condition for any restaurant, especially one at this price point. Even after we were finally seated, the dining area itself was uncomfortably hot and humid, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. The only saving grace of our evening was our server, Chris, who was attentive and provided excellent service. It’s disheartening to see that while prices have gone up, the overall experience has significantly declined. This used to be a place we chose for special family celebrations, but sadly, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
