Fantastic food and service. The place is small and requires reservations two or three weeks in advance, but it’s well worth it.

Ingrid took care of us and made the night lovely and accomodating. Would come back, we got the pianist to play september hahaha

Great wine list and amazing musicians. My 3rd visit here and never disappointed. Last was here on Friday the 12th, July after the hurricane and they only had 7 tables but they still had 3 musicians preforming which were all incredibly talented. Dinner and wine for 2 people is around $400 upwards depending on your wine selection and of course how much you drink and tip. Have an upcoming reservation in 2 weeks but surely it will be much busier.

Oh brother! It's a really great place despite being kind of expensive. We went for the first time but didn't get a table because we didn't have a reservation but decided to sit in the bar area. The atmosphere was enjoyable. The bartender was very friendly, the drinks were very well done, the food excellent and the service was super. We are going back there again with a reservation.

Hidden gem!!! Great intimate atmosphere, the bar area is super cool and the dining area is very posh. You have to make reservations and expect no less than 5 star service.

All I can say is TOP NOTCH!!! My husband and I celebratory anniversary here and they did not disappoint. The ambiance, attentive service, delicious food, outstanding entertainment won us over. It is a small quaint establishment, very personable. We loved, loved it and will definitely be back.

All I got to say, for my first time fine dining this was an experience neither myself or my wife will forget. From the service, to the entertainment, to the guest all could not have been better. I am thankful for making a night that much more special.

Every one is welcoming. Food is very palatable. A great dining experience from beginning to the end. Thanks to our waiter, Bryan, who made excellent choices on behalf of us. Highly appreciated!

Everything we ordered was fantastic. Had the octopus, oysters, tomato soup, table side wedge salad, waygu steak, and salmon dish. Our waiter, Brandon was fantastic. He had perfect timing for the entire meal. If you are celebrating a special occasion, want to take a client out or are into culinary experiences …. this won’t disappoint.

Very cozy and posh place tucked away on Post oak below Cafe Annie's. The interior is lush with lots of warm lighting and overall seems to be a great place for a special night. We plan to return for dinner..they have some interesting items on the menu!

Great new restaurant. Has an interesting old school vibe, but avoids a stuffy atmosphere with great service and pleasant live piano. The food is pretty classic in approach. We started with the land and sea. Wagyu carpaccio was paired with oyster for a fine light start. Next, the escargot was brought to life with a light phyllo puff pastry to provide a light crunch to the sumptuous, rich sauce. My favorite main was chicken and dumplings. Our chicken was light and flavorful with a truffle punch. The lobster thermidor had Southwest twist with diced peppers and a creamy sauce, but I personally prefer the classic. Overall, Turner’s is another great addition by the Berg Hospitality group and we will definitely be coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Turner's in Houston, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Having previously enjoyed a meal at Turner's Cut, I continue to be thoroughly impressed by the Berg Hospitality Group's commitment to excellence. From the moment I stepped into Turner's, General Manager Christa greeted me warmly, recognizing me immediately without any introduction. Her thoughtful gesture of offering a tour of the back of house and the upstairs speakeasy added a unique and memorable touch to the evening. The speakeasy, in particular, was an absolute highlight, its ambiance was simply awesome. The bartender on duty was equally impressive. Although her name escapes me, her friendly demeanor and expert recommendations enhanced the dining experience. She insisted I try the wedge salad, and I'm grateful she did, it was, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. The atmosphere at Turner's exudes comfort and sophistication. The live pianist set a delightful tone, creating a vibe that was both relaxed and elegant. Culinary-wise, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the potato mochi were insanely good. The extensive wine list offered a variety of selections at reasonable prices, complementing the meal beautifully. Overall, Turner's delivers an outstanding dining experience. The combination of impeccable service, exquisite cuisine, and inviting ambiance makes it a must-visit destination in Houston. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning soon.

First time to visit Turners and we loved it! Sat up at the bar and had great service with Lucas and Leena, tried a Vesper Martini for the first time and enjoyed a great meal. Their wedge salad is hands down the best wedge salad I have ever had. The presentation to the “bacon”- never seen it served in such a classy way. We hope to visit again! Thank you for a great experience Turners!

Popped in with a girlfriend who was visiting from out of state for a drink and dessert after dinner elsewhere since the pianist was there and I live within walking distance and hadn’t Turners yet. Sat at the bar and my girl friend ordered cake and since I’m vegan I assumed there was nothing I could have. John, the bartender went out of his way to go get me sorbet from the Annie so I would have something to eat. Blown away by the service and the knowledge of everyone, so kind and welcoming and the attention to detail here is off the charts. From the cloth napkins with the logo to the gold place mats, no stone is left unturned. My girl friend is big on whiskey and bourbon and the selection was vast and unique, John was patient and answered all of her questions and helped make decisions. We were there past close and never felt rushed. Kudos, Turners and John you have a new regular! I’ve found my new favorite neighborhood bar. Thank you for the excellent experience!

We were celebrating my boyfriend's bday Michael and this was his 1st time at Turners he was loved it. The red snapper was so delicious. I have been to Turners several times. We also met some new friends...Wendy and April our new Turner friends.

I love coming to this place! Tucked behind Annie’s, this cozy bar is one of my favorite spots to go to in Houston. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and I’ve always had great service. Good whiskey selection too

Came here for drinks and bites to catch up with a friend at the bar. I had the Gin Fizz and Steak Tartare & Foie Gras Torchon with a side of toast and it was delicious. Service was extremely slow, but the restaurant was packed so it was understandable. The decor is stunning and I can't wait to go back for dinner. I do advise against anything else but a soft white wine when you order the foie gras. Trust me.

We had our anniversary dinner here and we loved everything. The ambience itself is incredibly romantic. The food was amazing as well. My husband and I shared a steak and got some sides to compliment it. The drinks are superb as well. The Clearly Screwed was my favorite. Best of all, the staff treated us amazing. We felt welcomed as soon as we stepped in. This is definitely a spot I am coming back to.

Highly recommend this establishment. Loved the decor and ambiance. Food was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the entrees and desserts. The service was phenomenal; everyone was inviting and helpful. Our servers, Cecil and Najee, made the night especially wonderful with their knowledge, professionalism and warmth.

This is a place for those who love good food, great date night, or those who want to be seen but do not want to be seen if you know what I mean. The Wagyu Hot Dog Service is the Rolls Royce of hot dogs. It's something that can be cut up and shared for the table, as a side dish, or as a meal if you order 2. The beef Wellington is definitely a meal that can be shared.

Turner’s is truly an experience in fine dining that I’d certainly recommend. The drinks were delicious and service was excellent. For the appetizer, we had the broken arrow ranch quail and gnocchi batonnets, the waygu filet mignon for my entree and coconut cake for dessert. Every bite was sumptuous though the portions are small. The ambiance was amazing, with the most memorable part of my night being the live music from the talented musician on piano. I hope everyone gets that same lovely experience.

My fiancee and I went here for our engagement dinner and I set that as the reservation type and the staff all made the experience very custom towards that which we thoroughly loved! It was very personal and inviting and lovely! We had the beef wellington, truffle Mac and cheese, gnocchi batonnets, hunters chicken pithivier. To summarize, it all was extremely delicious, delicately and professionally prepared we loved every single bite! We also got celebratory champagne 🥂 The ambiance was very intimate with low lighting, pictures hanging all over the walls and a live pianist which we sat right next to. I thought it was going to be loud sitting next to the piano but surprisingly it was not. Of course it goes without say but I'll say it anyways.. go with $$$$$ lol Super super fancy and intimate and we loved it and we will always return for our anniversaries.

Lets get straight to the main points. The atmosphere of this place is incredible and would highly recommend just on that point alone. The service was on point. Not too needy but our waiter Juan was there when we needed him. The food delivery timing was perfect The only downfall for me is the food did not match the price point. I gotta be picky if the steak cost a 100 bucks and the entire meal was well over 2 bills for two people. The food was good but nothing spectacular. But the portions were great sizes to share Alright so let's get into the deets, (deets is slang for details, this is what kids these days say #GenZ) The restaurant is very cozy and gives a rich grandma vibe. 👵 . I love me a rich grandma. The Christmas decor was classy 👌 Then oh my word! The freaking live music was so freaking romantical I could feels it in mine ball sack. The piano player and singer really set the place to next level quality atmosphere. The waiter we had ,Juan, was so cool and was there when we needed him. He had this cool move where after he took our plates , he would take a small brush or comb thing and clean the table. That guy was clean with that move. Alright now the FOOD! So me and my wife split the meals , so we had the same thing just shared . So goddang I could only imagine what that bill would have been if we didn't do it that way. But it was definitely plenty if food for the both of us. We got the wedge salad. It was good . The lettuce was fresh and not old. Nothing too crazy about the dish. The bacon on it was 🔥 . Then we ordered the Mac and cheese and the 20 oz waygu rib eye. That Mac and cheese was good, a little thiccccc for my taste and bruh why they gonna use the kraft Mac and cheese noodles?? Get some grown up shells. The steak was seasoned well and cooked to medium rare. But overall the steak was missing something I don't know what it was but something. Sorry go ask Gordon Ramsey if you wanna better review! Then we got the cherry tart. This was the best thing we got , I recommend this for a dessert. It's was a little crusty (in a good way) a little creamy, sweet and decadent.

This restaurant is the definition of class. Disarming when you first walk in through what feels like an incorrect door, Turner’s fires hard on all cylinders. Blow n away doesn’t even begin to describe our experience at this hidden treasure in the Post Oak area of Houston. Ambiance redefined. The aim was to go for a New York supper club, and from the movies I’ve watched I think they nailed it. A live pianist takes his seat early into the evening to work his magic and add another layer of class you weren’t quite ready for yet. Impeccable is the only way to describe every aspect of this operation. You’re literally waited on hand and foot in one of the finest establishments I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining in. If you’re in the dog house, this place is a sure fire way to be king again. 👑

What a great space! Very traditional fine dining. Service is excellent! Enjoyed the Christmas lunch offering. Sea Bass with caviar sauce was cooked perfectly. The touch of goat cheese and cranberry to the Butternut Squash soup wasa delight. I don't typically drink gin but the Gin Fizz was a delight! Space is beautiful designed for that cozy comfort vibe.

My third time at Turner’s and always a must when visiting Houston. Love the decor and the food even more! Still thinking about the Hot Dog (hate to say it but better then NYC Hot dog 🤪), Beef Wellington (perfectly cooked and seasoned) and the coconut cake, divine! Can’t wait to go back!

As soon as you walk in you are greeted with kindness, warmth, and excitement. Staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Drinks were absolutely delicious and beautifully made. I have eaten here a few times and my last experience was underwhelming. They were very relaxed with the dress code which brings down the atmosphere in my opinion. For some reason it was much louder also but that is probably due to individuals more than the restaurant but some acoustical treatments could be helpful. Food was good and wine was great.

Hidden to the left of Annie’s Cafe. Very small intimate restaurant. Small menu, heavy on seafood. Juan took great care of us. Artichoke soup was too bitter for our taste. Yummy free bread service. Had the duck special and ribeye. Meats seasoned well. Pomme purée could use more cream. Live piano player that sings was a nice touch and took request. He plays until 12:30am on Saturday nights. A great place for date night. Limited seating so we were stuck in a two top off to the side of main dining. Would recommend to try once. Complementary valet

Just took my bride to Turner's for our 33rd anniversary. We dine out a lot and our preferences may not be yours. First of all, the service and beauty of this restaurant is top notch. Amanda and Lucas at the bar were informative and great to chat with as we enjoyed a cocktail or two prior to dinner. Try the butter-washed martinis. Vic and team were our servers and the team didn't disappoint explaining the menu and process of how we will be served. Never rushed, we enjoyed multiple courses. Impressive was Vic noticing the wine we ordered needed to chill a bit before serving. His solution was a couple of comp'd glasses of wine. That was much appreciated and creative. Now to the food. The menu is diverse and has something for everyone. We were a bit boring tonight and ordered the wedge salad, shrimp cocktail, Scottish salmon and whole Branzino. The wedge was delicious, however, the "bacon" item was more of thick cut pork belly and was not a well paired item for this salad. I appreciate the creativity, but a mouthful of salad which includes a soft slab of pork belly wasn't our favorite. A crunchy bacon would have been a better addition, in our opinion. Both fish dishes were perfectly cooked. I should have begun by saying my bride and I typically let the server decide the best way to order our dishes and welcome their suggestions. In this case, the addition of the lump crab sauce was suggested and we agreed. The sauce was delicious, don't get me wrong, but the Branzino already comes with a mussel and broth topping and adding the lump crab sauce was a bit much for this dish. If the chef suggested it this way, as a rule, then why not have it that way on the menu? Adding it, just to add it, may not have been my choice but we go with the server most of the time. The perfectly cooked fish dishes turned into more of fish stews ruining the crispy skins on both the salmon and Branzino. You must order the coconut cake! Period! We will definitely be back due to the service alone. This place is doing it right from the service side. Bravo. Thanks for a great experience y'all.

Incredible atmosphere, attentive service, moderate food. We celebrated a birthday here and the intimate atmosphere is what drew us in. We loved the rich details, club chair comfort style seating, live piano/singing, 12/10! Unlike many other reviewers, we received top notch service. We dined on a Thursday evening and were sat immediately. Incredibly attentive and knowledgeable staff. Mgmt stopped by a couple times to ensure we were satisfied, 12/10. Where Turner’s fell short is the menu. Here’s what we ordered: Fried quail - well seasoned and deep fried. Liked the sausage gravy, but didn’t impress. Wagyu filet - petite, lacking in flavor. Had better filets at Eddie V’s. Potato bake with Mayo based topping was quite good. Tomato soup - bland, not impressed. Skirt steak - flavorful and tender. Tetrazzini - disappointed we spent $32 on this. Pass. Coconut cake - wonderful! Highly recommend! Bread - the complimentary bread is what we keep talking about long after dinner. Great pretzel bread, we’d go back just for the bread. We should be saying this about the other menu items.

Fine dining or Pete’s piano bar? A identity crisis Turners should resolve. The restaurant and atmosphere was great for family celebration until it wasn’t. The pianist catered to the loudest and inebriated guests. It’s fine if you’re looking for a casual outing but not for caviar prices.

Money doesn't always equate to quality, and Turner's is a good example of that. The service was inattentive; after finishing our meal, the empty plates sat on our table for over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment. As for the food, it was simply average—nothing stood out, and I would rate it as "okay." Not more, not less. I would say: If you're familiar with J. Alexander's filet mignon, you'll likely agree that Turner's falls far behind in comparison. On the entertainment side, the experience was weird. Diring most of our meal time, the bartender was reproducing recorded music while, on the background, a pretty well arranged live standard jazz performance was playing. Please note: It was live music playing, which was, in my opinion, being overplayed, was unrespectful with the artist and the audience. Overall, I would rate Turner's experience as mid quality.

We enjoyed both the service and atmosphere here on our recent first visit. The food was just average; a disappointment given the very high prices. The primary reason for the low rating was the 3% Restaurant Operating Fee tacked onto our very high bill for 6 adults, out for a special celebration and ordering cocktails, appetizers, salads, dinners, desserts and nice wines. Although this may or may not be becoming standard practice, it should certainly be communicated prior to ordering. I have to wonder if the hard working waitstaff are seeing their tips suffer as a result of this offensive practice.

A below average experience. Small portions and average food. The drinks don’t taste crafty. I did enjoy the atmosphere with the live piano music. The mashed potatoes came in an 8oz cup. This has been one of the poorer fine dining experiences.

We were really looking forward to our visit to Turners, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The host’s behavior came across as unprofessional and felt discriminatory, which immediately set a negative tone. Service throughout the visit was extremely slow, and while the food was just okay, it definitely didn’t match the high prices. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and sadly I wouldn’t recommend it.

My husband and I had a reservation at this restaurant for 7:15 PM. We arrived around 7:20, and initially, everything seemed fine. However, we experienced extremely long wait times for both our appetizers and salad. Unfortunately, we never received our main course and decided to leave without dining. This was a disappointing experience, especially considering the high expectations we had for this place.

Two years ago, we went there for our anniversary, and everything was amazing. This time, my husband booked it for my birthday, and it was disappointing. I told them I don’t drink or eat pork, but the staff kept saying they couldn’t adjust anything. My steak came out medium rare instead of medium well, and they kept removing bread and napkins from the table without asking. The staff and even a guard kept walking around watching people, which felt uncomfortable. When I was showing my husband something on my phone, the waiter said “no cameras,” which was rude and unnecessary. The food and atmosphere weren’t the same — I wouldn’t go back again.
