We had a wonderful dining experience at Pho 54! I ordered the pho ga đặc biệt and my wife went with the bun bo hue — both were absolutely delicious. The pho ga had rich, savory broth with perfectly cooked chicken and fresh herbs that made every spoonful comforting and satisfying. The bun bo hue was bold and flavorful with just the right level of spice — deep, meaty, and beautifully balanced. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. This spot really delivers authentic Vietnamese flavors and has quickly become one of our favorites for noodle soups in Houston. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re craving hearty, satisfying Vietnamese food! 🍜🔥
Another pho joint in the center of Bellaire. Came during busy hour, but tables turned over fast. Plenty of parking in the Kim son area. Don’t park in front of the other tenants as they don’t like it. Broth was very good and fatty , which is a good sign it was cooked with decent bone and beef cuts, not from a powder as most new places are now. The meatballs were bouncy and chewy and the fatty brisket was o delicious. Veggie side was a bit light for 2 . They also serve dry Pho which is also very good and Bun Bo Hue which is also good. one of the few places to offer fresh Pho noodles made from scratch. It only cost $1 more, but it worth it as it absorbs the broth and flavor of the pho better than the dry packaged noodles.
The place was on the smaller size. We went in right before noon (weekday) so it wasnt busy. Ordered P1 special. Pho broth was clear, rich, and savory! The fresh noodles were a plus. They definitely DID NOT SKIMP out on meat! It was loaded with different cuts of beef, tripes, and tendon. Our waitress was nice and attentive. I couldnt understand the waitress but I believe she said they have a couple different size noodles (this I could be wrong). Overall, a very nice place with good pho!
The noodles are unlike anything I’ve had on the east/mid side of town. They were so good, fresh and worth the visit. Large portions almost couldn’t finish it.
Pho54 is a hidden gem! The pho is absolutely incredible – the broth is rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous. I tried the beef pho, dry chicken pho and spicy beef. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked! The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. This is definitely my new go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend!
Overall I’d give this a 4.5 star review. The Pho had a nice flavor. They didn’t have an option for seafood pho for what I could see. I did like the option that you could customize your phone with the variety of different meat. The tables were clean, the bottles of Sriracha and hoisin sauce were full. We did arrive at 3 o’clock, so it wasn’t very busy on a Thursday afternoon in February. I’d recommend this Pho location and leave some time that you can explore the other stores in this area
Soup super rich, loved the bánh mì w bone marrow. Meat was so soft for nam and also oxtail.Noodles kinda iffy
Best pho in Houston, especially their pho oxtails with bone in rib. You won’t find another bowl like this anywhere in Htown. The broth is full of beefy flavor, well seasoned and deliver on every note. And don’t forget to try the bun Bo hue Oxtails, it’s a one of kind bowl in Houston. No other restaurant serve this with Oxtails. It’s equally amazingly delicious. They also serve many other Vietnamese dish from rice plate to chicken noodles of different types. 5star!!!!
First time here. It’s like a neighborhood restaurant. They cook heartwarming food that warms your stomach and heart. The food was boiling hot and fresh. Just make sure it cools down before you start eating. I love the egg noodle, dry Pho with chicken, and the Bahn mi bread was really nice. Worth to visit.
Pho 54 serves up a fantastic bowl of beef pho that feels like a warm hug in a bowl. The broth is deeply flavorful and has this great balance—rich, a little sweet, and packed with spices like star anise and cinnamon. They don’t skimp on the beef either; it’s tender and melts in your mouth, pairing perfectly with the chewy noodles. They give you a good amount of fresh toppings—basil, lime, sprouts, jalapenos—so you can customize each bite. It’s filling without being too heavy, and the service is friendly and efficient. If you’re craving real, satisfying pho, this is definitely the spot.

One of my favorite spots in town for Pho. The Bone Marrow broth with proteins and the baguette is a MUST. Wife and I always get our own Pho and we share a Bone Marrow broth. Delicious!!!
Fantastic brisket pho! The broth is bursting with flavor and they’re generous with their beef servings. My family and I will definitely be back!
My favorite dish here is the P1. Pho Special (Pho Dac Biet) Pho with steak slices, flanks, fatty brisket, tendons, tripe and meatballs. And my favorite drink is the fresh lemonade. Along with good food and drink I appreciate their clean and modern atmosphere.

The amount of protein was decent for the price (expect to pay around $17 with tax for a bowl of soup). The liver in my soup had a very strong unpleasant metallic taste that I am not use to. The soup had a lot of MSG. Overall the meal was okay.
The pho broth was just right and the meats were good. The meatballs had gamey taste to it which I didn’t like. One of us got large and one small and I’m sure the large isn’t any larger besides the bowl size and more broth. It was only $1 different so I got large.
The pho competition is very high, especially in Houston, but Pho 54 is probably one of the best ones I’ve had. Tip: Make sure to ask for fresh noodles! It doesn’t cost extra and I feel like they taste better. What stands out about Pho54 is the amount of meat they give. Many pho spots tend to give an average amount or skimp out but at Pho54, there’s plenty which I appreciate. The broth is pretty solid- maybe Pho Dien’s broth is slightly better but honestly, it’s pretty comparable. I also love how you can choose up to 4 different meats since I usually only like tripe, steak, brisket, and fatty brisket (not many pho spots have this combo and you’d usually have to get tendon with it). This is my go to spot for pho from now on!
Pho 54 is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese pho. The service is quick and the staff are friendly, adding to the overall positive dining experience. One of my favorite dishes here is the special dried chicken pho. The boiled chicken is perfectly cooked with golden yellow skin and tender, juicy meat. The sauce poured over the dried pho noodles is incredibly delicious and complements the dish beautifully. If you're ever in Houston, you should definitely give it a try.
I had to try this spot out when I heard about it from a fellow friend. Both of the broth were good but I think it was overhyped for me. They do give you plenty of proteins for both bowls. The vegetables were quite fresh and if you order the pho, you can get your bean sprouts steamed if you like it that way. The small bowl was like a medium for me. The bowl was bigger than my hand in diameter. I got super full and couldn't finish it all.
Ordered the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and Pho Ga (chicken rice noodle soup). Generous portion especially for the meat and super tasty. Order the fresh Pho noodles that they make daily in house, it was top notch. Only complaint is the service/attitude from the staff was very apethetic and cold. Pretty common for a busy Asian place so if you don't mind that; great value for quality Vietnamese food.

First time going to Pho 54 for lunch with the Family. Here is my take...the broth was ok, the noodles was kind a little under cook. The beef stripe neednto cut funeral. The one good thing is a small bowl is pretty large. There are a lots of noodle and beef balls. Overall, I give it a 3 stars for pho. Definitely have better pho in Houston.

We went to Pho 54 around 3pm on a Sunday. The place was pretty small and wasn't very decorated and standard, so the initial vibes were a bit off. The Pho Tai (pho with steak) was honestly pretty good, (broth was sweet and noodles were well-cooked) but the meat tasted dry and some might say "preserved." The service was standard, nothing out of the ordinary, instead of a greeting were were just asked, "how many?" The waitress quickly gave us water quickly menus, she also took our order quickly. Also, the bowls were HUGE. We all ordered smalls of meatless pho, Pho Nam, and the create your own pho with fatty brisket and couldn't even finish it (which is never a bad thing...) We were pleasantly surprised they had an option for 'create your own pho', and most excited for it, and the fatty brisket we got with it was delicious. Overall, you get a lot of pho for a decent price, around $15 per person. This place is worth visiting at least once just for the new experience.

I ordered one small special bún bò and an extra serving of noodles. After paying, I gave the cashier $20 and received only $1 in change. I asked the cashier (she looked to be in her 60s) for the receipt so I could check it. She realized she had given me the wrong change, so she intentionally avoided printing the receipt. When I asked again for the receipt, she became annoyed and claimed that she had even given me extra vegetables for free. If what she said was true—that she gave extra vegetables without charging—then why was my change short by almost $2??? I am very unhappy with her dishonest attitude. I want clarity about what happened; it’s not about the money. What bothered me even more was her attitude, acting as if she were doing me some kind of favor. Customers should always check their change and the total amount instead of letting the owner cheat them. Tips should go to the servers because they deserve it more!
people please check the menu and the price per meal. when it time to paid be aware of the cashier because they will overcharge you. ask for the receipt if you feel cheated .
