The food is really good, homey feel to it. It does get hot in the building a little crowded, but the food is worth it. Not to pricey... affordable. Would recommend to friends and family.

Lots of people at lunchtime. Thought that was a good indicator of great things to come. It wasn’t. I ordered their signature Gordita’s. One each of, chicharrón, barbacoa and pastor. Chicharrón was the best, but for the price and serving size it was not worth it. Solid flavors, but nothing O would go back for. All but one of the counter girls were friendly.

This was our second visit to Sazón Los Abuelos, and while the food remains good, the service still leaves much to be desired. On our first visit, I was disappointed to find they didn’t offer half-and-half for the coffee creamer. Additionally, they charge extra for handmade tortillas and for paying with a debit or credit card. This time, I was eager to try the chilaquiles, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor service. Our waitress disappeared for an extended period, and although another person eventually brought our food, we were left without salsa or coffee refills. The waitress reappeared only after about 15 minutes and asked if everything was okay, by which point the eggs were already cold. While the handmade tortillas are still delicious and the food quality is good, the $3 charge for a 4oz coffee that isn’t refilled feels excessive. The lack of timely service really impacted our experience. I hope they can improve their service for a better overall dining experience in the future.

It's ok. I ordered beef tacos on a flour tortilla and they gave me corn tortillas. 🌽 It didn't have enough onion and cilantro and the tacos looked a little squished. They tasted ok. I also got a Mexican style burger but it was not appetizing. The tomatoes were not round and it looked like the ingredients were just thrown together. The lady at the register just said, There's your food." as she tossed the bag on the counter. It was rude. Maybe you will get better treatment if you dine-in because then they may expect a tip? But, as for me, I am disappointed and I'm not going back. 😔 I understand sometimes people have bad days, but this was just a bad experience with food and service. Good luck! 👍🏻

Food is good but the customer service is terrible, they will never give you coffee refills and you're lucky if they bring the tortillas that come with the food. I asked the waitress for my put my coffee refill to go and I got changed for 2 coffees. I really like their food but I'm not coming back again.

I always eat here on weekends. But lately I’ve seen the quality of the food gone down. The taste is the not the same, especially the pozole. Kitchen staff and cooks need cooking training.

Neighborhood taqueria at a higher level. Service is good and atmosphere is typical. Selections on the menu are also typical. Breakfast for two was $45 plus tip. Not complaining, just a heads up.

Don't bother coming here the food is not worth it.the menudo has a very strong smell u can't even eat it I told the manager and she say sinces nobody else complain about it that I still needed to pay for it.i did pay for it .but my issue is that it smell I'm not going to eat something that going to make me sick.

Gives me Don Julio vibes, everyone is your waitress there, our waitress took our drinks our food order and not once did she return to our table, another waitress brought our food out , sorry ladies I was a waitress myself and YOU GOT to EARN your tip , we are paying for service and food , the shortest one there was our waitress and her demeanor and attitude, this is the second time we GET HER, no name tags so I don’t know her name since she didn’t presented herself to us nor greeted us , although food is good , there needs to be some level of expectations from this specific server!

I was there 2 weekends ago with my entire family. As I started eating I noticed that My chilaquiles has a hair in them I asked if I could get something else instead and they declined per the manager . I asked for her and she took more than 10 minutes to come, when she did she basically accused me of putting the hair in my food and stated that it was not a hair but a piece of thread and that it was from my sweater . She was very rude, and seemed very unhappy, my entire family loved going there but unfortunately that will be our last time there . We also saw a roach leaving video here .
