This is one of the better places to go right before you go to hobby airport I would say this is one of the best restaurants to go to in Houston. The best dishes in order would be : tangsuyuk, jiajiang mien, orange chicken, sizzling rice soup Tangsuyuk sauce on side : 10/10 so crispy, not too sweet , and just the right serving. It’s never bad to get Jiajiangmien: 10/10 lots of sauce not too salty, tastes similar to Korea

When I say fantastic I mean FANTASTIC!!! I been going here for 20 plus years, my parents use to bring me all the time as a kid, I didn’t eat chinese food for about 3 months when they were Temporarily Closed, oh I’m so glad they back open again. The owners know us by name wonderful food always fresh, awesome service and the atmosphere is great. Don’t just pass it up pull in you won’t regret it!!!

This food hits the spot every time. My favorite dishes are all pictured - crispy fish with fried, jjamppong, lomein, and crab rangoons. All good is super flavorful and filling, can never get just one dish. Great place, usually pretty quiet and chill. Service is fast and friendly.

Are you looking for great Chinese food in Houston? Try Shan Hu Chinese Restaurant another longtime family favorite and today I understood why! Earlier in the day we dropped by to pickup several kung pao chicken lunches to go! Since it’s my fave dish I returned to see what the big deal was. Wow - my dish was savory, aromatic, perfectly spiced; the chicken and veggies were fresh and tasty! It’s a spicy dish but I added their awesome hot oil which took it to another 🔥 level! The lunch special includes the tastiest egg roll, soup of the day which was hot and sour and your choice of fried or white rice. My family member ordered the sweet and sour chicken which is also a favorite. They serve generous and beautiful portions on nice dishes at good prices. I also liked the iced tea. I can’t recall the last time I enjoyed a Chinese food meal so much. I highly recommend these good people! I was a bit worried coming here due to the location but the restaurant is outstanding. Evwn if it claims to bpe a chinese restaurant the menu is also translated in korean and has some of koreas popular dishes including kimchi. It's clean and the food delicious I recommend the jajangmyeon and tangsuyuk. Staff is friendly!

The food was good but did not stand out. It was a pretty standard sweet sauce on the chicken (Peeking. Chicken). However it was nice that it was all white meat chicken. I think some other items may be more for my taste. It has good promise and the menu price is good. I will try it again for sure.

I usually go for lunch and it’s I think 12$ for the meals which are LARGE and shareable. They bring out “chips” when asked for them and have the best spicy mustard 😮‍💨, their biscuits are to die for as well. The customer service is excellent & they always make sure you are well taken care of.

Was just there earlier today. This is my favorite place to get jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) I always come here when I’m craving it. Their pan fried dumplings were big, delicious and juicy. They did forget to give me my utensils, but everything else was great! Will continue to come here!

Shan Hu Chinese Restaurant is an above average restaurant. The restaurant is clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. After I ordered my food. The wait time for my food to be prepared was reasonable. I would recommend trying the crispy duck. It is 15 bucks but it is a very tasty dish. I would recommend trying the Shan Hu Chinese Restaurant.

My first time to visit here. Wanted the fried rice but it had no bean sprouts, carrots or peas. I ordered the chicken chowmein. It was soaked in this brown sweet sauce. It was mainly chicken and onions. Awful, just soupy and Awful 😖
