I didn’t expect this place to be good. Guy in the front - nice and attentive and didn’t rush me at all. Service is fast. Place is clean and packed. The matcha tastes like matcha 10/10! Toilet also clean. The beef empanada is also good I have to buy another one! I’m coming back here and I can’t wait to try other drinks and food! ❤️

Siphon Coffee is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots in Houston. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between laid-back and refined — ideal for working, catching up with friends, or just relaxing with a good cup. Their siphon-brewed coffee is something special: smooth, rich, and full of unique flavor notes you don’t get with standard brews. Beyond coffee, their food menu is thoughtful and fresh. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, happy to make recommendations or explain the brewing process. Definitely a place I keep coming back to. If you appreciate high-quality coffee and a great environment, Siphon is a must-visit.

Siphon is my go to coffee shop, not only because of proximity/location, but also because of the quality of the brews and the options. It has a kitchen so you can order breakfast foods or sandwiches. There are several baked goods, and better yet, empanadas. My favorite coffees are the drip, Americano, and iced snickerdoodle latte. There’s a good amount of seating but it can be hard to find an open couch or indoor seating because of how many people come to siphon. Also parking is limited but there’s parking around the residential area nearby

Busy place for busy people. The only place with outlets, though, might be at the bar seats and some of them are a bit loose. Other than that it's a great place for hanging out. They are often full house so get there early.

I enjoy coming here for breakfast. If anything, I recommend any of their delicious taco grande.😋 I also enjoy their breakfast sandwich and empanadas. Their hangover fires are the best. It's definitely a must try. 😍 I love the atmosphere here. It's definitely a good place to study 📖 during non busy times. (Which it does get busy on certain days.) If you're in the area and are looking for good breakfast food, stop here and give them a try. 😃

Great local specialty coffee shop Siphon is one of my go-to coffee shops whether it’s to get work done, read or relax. I’m not a big coffee drinker but the beverages here have always been amazing! If you’re unsure of what to order, I’d recommend the Barista Special and list your preferences and they will make a great drink for you! Staff are super-friendly; I’ve never had a bad experience here. Cafe internet is solid and bathrooms are clean. The cafe features indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating features a variety of styles including leather couches, counter-top and barstools, and traditional tables. Outdoor seating is mostly booths with cute overhead lights. I’d recommend avoiding outdoors when it’s really hot and/or dusk/dawn as there are mosquitoes. I do wish there were more outlet plugs at the cafe - these can be very limited when it’s busy. The parking lot fills up quickly but there is plenty of (shaded) street parking a block over. Sam the barista makes a great Rose-flavored latte

This place is fantastic in the following areas; Food has a unique taste; my favorite is an eggs burger. The speed for the food order and getting to your table to exceptional. Amiable staff, and the owner and I have his picture below 👇 in a black shirt. The drinks are incredible, especially the coffee flavors and the style they make. The decor is superb; please try to outdoor ally setting area. It gives you a Mediterranean feel. Amazing crowd! Not so much amazing Quantity vs. Price $$$ is a bit expensive for the portion of the food. See the pic below for my burger almost close to $14.00. Please give it a try; the manager is big time Houston Astors supporter ❤️❤️❤️

At the counter I was referred to try the Rosemel Latte with whole milk, y'all, so delicious! The staff and ambiance 10/10 as well. Try the Rosemel if you're a latte enjoyer!!

They have an option to get “barista’s choice” where they ask you four questions and then come up with a drink of their choice based on your answers. Thought it was fun and my drink came out good too! They have lots of merch and goodies for purchase, even for your pets. Lots of seating inside and seating in the back and front of the shop as well.

Clean and friendly laid back environment, overall a solid spot to grab a drink and relax. Both indoor and shaded outdoor seating available. Drinks and food are very solid for the money, although the menu could use a few more options when it comes to pastries. Parking is relatively easy during off hours, but during peak hours it may be a bit more difficult. Open later than many other coffee shops, so a good choice for those wanting to grab a drink and work a bit later.

The customer service was nothing special the guy barely interacted with us. The food took a very long time and they were serving no espresso drinks. The chicken and pesto sandwich was on a very soft under toasted bun, very bland and the “fries” weren’t fries but that could be a mistake on my part for not reading the fine print. Regardless, the food was underwhelming and the service was slow. I would not come back here and I’d definitely say it’s over priced for what you’re getting. Atmosphere was well set up and aesthetically pleasing as you can see from the photos.

Ordered one cold brew and one americano and it took 26 minutes to get. They had one person making drinks on Saturday afternoon. Unless you have all literally go anywhere else. We didn’t get food and the atmosphere seems fine. Rating strictly based on service.

I have literally never encountered people who were so uninterested in life and their jobs. The men just stand there and talk to each other and don’t turn around when customers enter. They just keep talking to each other. They often forget food orders so it’s a waste of time and money to try and get the items you already paid for. Don’t get me started on if they give your drink to the wrong person. I’m so over siphon coffee and will not be returning. The pumpkin bread is great but not worth dealing with people who will watch you stand at the bar waiting for your order for 10 minutes and never ask what your order was. Why would I stand at the bar watching these boys make drinks for no reason? Ask my name! My order! Something! And you can’t just get their attention because they’re always just spaced out or talking to each other or talking about shoes(???)

I had heard about this place and I was excited to try it out on my only day off. I ordered my items on the kiosk inside the cafe. The servers were preoccupied on their phones and completely missed or disregarded my order. I waited for 20 minutes for two pastries, and a coffee. Then the server Kind of rude, And instead of checking for my orders, he simply said he didn’t see them. Once he actually checked, he found my orders and after a very uncomfortable transaction, I was able to get my food and drink. The drink was hurried and honestly tasted bad and so did the Empanada. The chocolate chip cookie was good and I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s a nice location with a cool vibe. Just pour service. I really wanted to like this place. I may give them another chance and hopefully I will have a better experience and we’ll write a better review. But in general, the places is too expensive for such bad service. Instead A scrolling the Internet, and socializing amongst themselves, the servers should pay more attention to the customers.
