Southern Maid Donuts

Terrific & friendly service. Very good & seemingly ALWAYS fresh donuts. I tried going to another donut shop after we had been to this Southern Maid a couple of times, & my family darned near started a revolution! It is a smaller shop, with actual seating for customers...reminds me of older style donut places where the focus was on customer service & good quality rather than just having the largest variety.

Great experience donuts are always fresh & donut holes are delicious. They always put you a couple of extra donuts in the bag!! It also has seating for customers overall great experience & my stop every morning when I get off from work!!

Love their donuts! So fresh, and in my opinion taste better than dunken and Shirley's combined! Respect local businesses and the community will thrive!

I stopped by this morning to pick up some kolaches and donuts. The place was clean and the lady working at the counter was delightful. My coworkers loved the Kolaches and many said they were much larger and better than the ones served at Shipley. The donuts were also fresh and tasty. I will definitely be stopping by again. This place has some good donuts and kolaches, some unique donuts too. I just wish stuff stayed in stock a little longer into the day. I understand though, it's something that happens at a lot of donut shops. Also don't usually have sausage kolaches w/out cheese, but that's not my preference anyways.

I only come here for the sausage kolaches, so I can’t speak to the donuts, but the kolaches are solid. They have a great meat-to-bread ratio (not overly doughy like some places). My personal favorites are the small jalapeño ones. The service here is excellent—the staff is always friendly, and they’ve even opened up a little earlier than the posted time when they saw me walking up. The prices are a little higher than I’d like, but that seems to be the norm everywhere these days. Bonus: You get free donut holes if you buy a dozen kolaches!

I've always enjoyed the quality of their food, but the selection has continued to shrink. 🫤
