My best friend and I visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was empty and we got a half booth half table. We were brought water right away. We had previewed the menu through yelp and came based on the pictures. Words cannot describe how incredible and fresh the food was! We had the smaller version of the pork belly platter which was served with one side of rice, fish cakes, fresh cabbage, marinated radish, and lots of other yummy sides. We also got an order of the rose tteokbokki and added cheese. To our surprise it came with glass noodles, egg, sausage, fried seaweed roll with glass noodles on the inside. Everything was phenomenal! So delicious. Service was amazing they were so polite and willing to answer any questions and were quick with re fills. Will definitely be going back. (Also it was relatively cheap for the amount of food we got!) we only spent $50 after tax for the both of us and honestly it was a lot of food!

oh my goodness! This place is awesome! It was packed but we lucked out on getting seated right away on a Friday night. The service is great, they were very attentive and lively. Their plates and silverware are uniform, very unique. We ordered the Braised Spicy Premium Beef Rib with Flat Glass Noodles (regular spicy) with some purple rice. They even cut out the bones for us so all we have to do is stuff them in our mouths! The soup/broth is a little thick and sweet cause of the squash, spicy enough to make you want to eat more. It was very delicious! Also ordered the Premium Bossam Boiled in Various Herbs. It was very tasty and juicy. Will definitely come back!

I wasn’t expecting much, but the food here was incredible. Everything was super tasty and bursting with flavor. I’ve traveled to Korea and still search for authentic tastes like this. This is a hidden gem; I’ll definitely be back to try more.

“Amazing Authentic Korean Cuisine!” Yuk Dae Jang is hands down one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to! The flavors are absolutely authentic, and every dish is prepared with care. The spicy beef soup (육개장) is rich, hearty, and packed with bold flavors that feel like a warm hug on a cold day. Their side dishes (banchan) are fresh and perfectly complement the meal. The service was quick and friendly, and the staff ensured we had everything we needed. The portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place for a casual meal or a family gathering. If you’re craving authentic Korean comfort food, Yuk Dae Jang is the place to go. Highly recommend it—you won’t be disappointed!

Lets just start by saying the service here is spectacular! We were immediately greeted seated orders taken and we never had to ask for anything they were on top of everything. Beef Short Rib Yukgaejang. Tons of flavor, beef short rib was big and tender very satisfied with this dish. Bossam was also very delicious we ordered the small and it was plenty for our group to share. You could taste the herbs that they were boiled in such a flavor explosion. We ordered 2 Pork cutlets for our kids and these things were huge. They both could have shared one, it was fried perfectly and pair well with the side dishes. We'll definitely be coming back whenever we're in town, we stumbled on this place by accident because another restaurant we wanted to go to was closed but we had such a wonderful experience here. Highly recommend!

The stone pot was still boiling when it was served, and the aroma was fragrant. The pot was filled with beef short ribs, pumpkin, potatoes, onions, carrots, vermicelli and other ingredients. The portion was so large that two people could not finish it. The beef is braised until it is soft, tender and tasty, with just the right amount of fat. The tendons are chewy and not dry, and the soup is just the right amount of salty and sweet. It is perfect to go with rice, and you can choose the level of spiciness. If you can eat spicy food, you can choose a spicier one, which will go better with rice! Tastes better

Amazing experience at Yukdaejang! I recently had a wonderful experience here last week, and I am extremely satisfied. The staffs here are very attentive, friendly and professional, especially Madison is a sweet girl. She explained everything for us, making sure we felt comfortable throughout the meal. As for the food, it was absolutely delivious! We got the bossam and spicy cold noodle and every dish was full of flavor. We all love the bossam. I will definitely come back here to try new dishes. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Soy Sauce Beef Short Ribs Hot Pot 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is a less oily version of Sunnongdan without the cheese!!! The beef short ribs are tender, sweet, and not tough at all! The side dishes are also very rich, and eating big chunks of meat is so satisfying. All the side dishes are delicious too. Although this big pot is meant for 2-3 people, I feel like I could finish it all by myself because it’s just that good—I couldn’t stop eating bite after bite. It also includes pumpkin, glass noodles, and mushrooms. I’m still reminiscing about it even after getting home. It’s seriously so delicious, you have to order it! Even if you’re dining alone, order it—you can always take the leftovers home. Korean-Style Bossam🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Bossam is one of my favorite traditional Korean dishes. I basically order it whenever it’s on the menu. This place adds a bit of a modern twist to the traditional flavors, creating a perfect blend of innovation and tradition. Paired with pickled cabbage and shrimp sauce, it’s absolutely amazing! Every slice of meat has the perfect ratio of fat to lean, and I think it’s delicious even on its own. Highly recommended! Their side dishes are also very generous, and the service is super friendly. The coffee candy they give after paying the bill is so good too—highly recommend!

Delicious and Comforting! Tried the galbi jim at Yuk Dae Jang for the first time, and it was fantastic! The beef was tender and flavorful, with a rich, hearty broth. The vegetables and mushrooms soaked up the broth beautifully, adding great texture. The flavor was deep and satisfying, though it leaned a bit too sweet as it kept boiling down. Still, the balance of spice and savory notes made it an overall great dish. Definitely worth a visit for authentic Korean comfort food!

Service 5 ⭐️! They are all very friendly. Really enjoyed the Braised Spicy Beef ribs, super tender and perfectly marinated, it’s the sweet Korean taste kind of flavor. The glass noodles inside soak all the sauce, super delicious. They even offer to cut the rib into small chunks which is super convenience for sharing. I personally don’t like the premium pork belly, the meat is tender but somehow I can still smell the “pig taste” which I don’t enjoy. But my friends like it. Will try their other options in the next visit 😋

Hidden gems at the corner and need to be shout out guys!! I have tried multiple times just to explore everything on their menu lol according to the owner, this is a big franchise in Korea and California and they're very first location in Texas. Their signature is Galbi Jim (spicy braised beef rib) and Bossam (premium boiled pork belly wraps), dumplings, noodles and other hot pots are so good. In the beginning, i thought it's expensive since the price on the menu, so I just stopped by to try cold noodle and the original Yukdaejang noodle but i ended up was surprised by the bowl is biggg and i saw the hotpot of another table is huge! So..yeah i came back with my friends and tried several things again and again lol Small menu, consistent tastes, big portion, and great service. What else are you looking for right? Lol P/s: don't forget to get coffee candies when they give you a check

I was between getting cold noodles or yukdaejang. I’m glad I chose yukdaejang with fresh pasta, I enjoyed it so much. The noodles had a slight bouncy texture, but it got soggy quickly. The flavor of the broth wasn’t too spicy and very well seasoned. I love that they offer purple rice, it went well with my bossam wraps. The staff were friendly and attentive, they helped us choose what to order and even offered us aprons to keep our clothes from getting dirty. I gotta come back with a few more friends to try the braised beef!!

The taste is so good. I have been eating this soup for more than 10 years, but I’ve been a customer here for 2 years. Sometimes when I order extra spicy online, I receive regular spicy. I always pay $1 extra for extra spicy because I really love spicy food. One day when I ordered extra spicy at the restaurant, the waitress explained to me twice that it’s already spicy. I understand she was just worried about me 😊 But since there is an extra spicy option and customers choose extra spicy, please make it extra spicy. When I get the wrong spice level, I can’t enjoy the food because it doesn’t meet my taste level.

It's his first time and my second time trying Korean food. I'm glad I gave the cuisine another chance especially when I was craving any type of beef intestines anyway. The yukgaejang was literally the best soup I've ever had. My brother also enjoyed the bulgogi. Definitely coming here again, especially during cold days.

I was drawn to their buy one get one free deal. I would say the beef soup is tasty with a good portion. They were out of the blood sausage that afternoon. However, my friend and I did feel very thirsty afterward, probably due to too much MSG added. Overall, it's a place worth trying out.

I came to YukDaeJang one evening near closing time. The employees didn't look like they want to serve me. There were a couple of tables of customers there. But they probably had a long day. I don't blame them. Food was ok. The waitstaff took wrong order. But it's ok.

That was really upsetting. I truly hope management can improve staff training, because the food is good, but the service today seriously affected the overall experience.
