We came here for Valentine's Day and had a great time! We sat on the patio out front with the heaters and it's wasn't very chilly. The service was great, and food was delicious! Both meals were too big, we decided next time we'll have to split one meal

First time here for dinner and we loved it. Our server Annalise was awesome. We got a nice table facing the ocean. Food was delish. We ordered the following items: 1. Tuna tartare 2. Half a dozen oysters 3. Filet mignon 8oz 4. Margarita pizza 5. Brussels sprouts 6. Caesar salad We loved everything here. Oysters and Brussels sprouts were one the best. Also my steak was perfect. I ordered medium and it was perfect. Most of the steakhouses like Flemings, Maestros also mess it up, their medium is more rare when you cut it. Their medium was just perfect. I will be back!

Amazing experience. Sara was a great server. Very attentive, and proactive in terms of ensuring our experience was great! Milk rolls and Caldo for the table were great. The NY strip was “Vietnamese style”, and it was delicious. Spicy and sweet, with great complimentary components. Others loved their salmon dish, and the rib eye (not bone-in). The paella for two was a healthy portion for each; featured delicious rice and seafood and tasty crispy chicken likely cooked separately and then add in to the dish. Parking in the underground mall lot is easy and just east of PCH; with restaurant validation it is complimentary. Very dog friendly, outdoor dining available; staff not masked currently. Looking forward to our next trip there! Chef owned spot has a dynamic menu that changes frequently! - we keep coming back, and we keep leaving happy. Amazing, caring, and observant staff. We were celebrating an anniversary, and they treated us to a chocolate moose cake. We had the salmon, fries, New York Team Vietnamese style, simple salad, and 1/2 dozen oysters. All delicious.

Decided to try their menu for OC Restaurant Week and I was pleasantly surprised when I realized this place is right next to the HB Pier. I made reservations and we had a booth facing the ocean at sunset, which was gorgeous. The bread was probably the best I’ve had. It was extremely fluffy on the inside, but it was the butter with warm honey that was served to spread on the bread that stood out to me. Absolutely delicious. The Scottish Salmon was perfect, like so so good.the pan roast was very tasty and a very hefty portion, enough to feed two people. We waited almost an hour for our entrees, but other than that service was great. I would definitely return to try other menu items and for the views of course.

I am pretty easy to get a five-star review from! But Blue Gold dropped the ball, they abandoned us at check time and left us sitting waiting for a box, our bill and parking validation. We were just looking for a quick bite for our date night, which turned out to not be so quick! No complaints on the food, and up until we got the food, the service was okay. Wirh menu prices being on the high side, I'd expect an elevlated level of service........ When we first got there, we wondered why we had only been one time, the lack of service slowly answered that question🤣🤣🤣

We were so lucky and got to sit in a booth facing the windows as the sun went down - beautiful! The service was a little slow but food was good overall. The Clam Chowder is delicious but share it or you'll be too full for the Key Lime Tart! Nice atmosphere

Delicious food. Server a bit slow, but very cheerful. Clam chowder was amazing and also was the short ribs. The oysters were washed out too much so there was little flavor. Salads look kind of poor.

Everything that could go wrong went wrong! The food took a long time, the fire alarm went off right when I was ready to blow out the candle on my cake…..BUT! I have to give it a 4 stars because the waitress was very friendly and she had such smiley eyes above the mask, the food were perfectly plated like it is a five stars restaurant, beautifully done! The taste was way above expectations, the dining area has a view of the ocean. For all that you get, the items on the menu are reasonably priced. The only spoiler is the unattended palm trees right by the bay window that blocks the view of the ocean. It’d have been been better if the trees were trimmed. I’ll be back. 10/2024-came back and had a great time! Food and views well worth the drive.

Was visiting the area and saw this place recommended online. I was dining alone and have a fairly small appetite but wanted to try a few different things, so I ordered three appetizers. Still had leftovers. It was all delicious. My server, Chris, was great too. This would be a great date night spot. There are a few tables by the window which overlooks the beach. Recommend making reservations. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the shopping mall. They also provide validation for the parking garage.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing views of the pier and sunset. Tasty cocktails and delicious good make this an exceptional place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. My rib eye steak was delicious but I think the chef isn't clear on what medium-rare means as my steak came back medium-well, hence only 4-stars and not 5 (yes, this is nit picking but when you're paying a little more for your meal you expect more attention to detail). With that said, this is an excellent place to visit and I for sure will be back (will prolly just get the fish instead next time).

Great food with awesome presentation and great service! We went in for Mother’s Day and we had to wait an addition 20 minutes even though we had a reservation. The restaurant had a nice view of the beach. We ordered the milk rolls, classic Benedict, double Dutch fries, salt roasted red beet, and pan roast for the whole table to share. Everything tasted good but I liked the classic benefit, milk rolls, and pan roast the best. It is definitely a place to come back for a special occasion but just hopefully we don’t have to wait another 20 minutes even though we have a reservation.

Good waiter. Decent atmosphere. Terrible food. Things were cold. The clam chowder was a massive bowl of flavorless cream. I nearly painted the floor when I got home because it was so bad.
