Best pizza in Huntington, don't be fooled. Its a little bit outside both Huntington and Huntington Station towns but it's worth the trip. Plain slice can't be beat but all of their pizzas are great

Went today to pick up an order for my workplace, staff was so personable and the food was ready on time. Pizza was good but SHOUT OUT to those garlic knots, my god, so good Edit: months later and this is now my favorite pizza place.

The quality of their food has definitely gotten better in my opinion. We’ve ordered both large catering trays as well as just normal takeout portions and everyone was very happy .

We have used Johnny D's to cater several occasions for us. Chicken parm, sausage and peppers, and meatball trays are all amazing. Great pizza and great food for catering as well.

The crew incredibly friendly, the food is out of this world, the menu is a little pricey but when you see the quality of the food and the amount of food you can't really complain. I recommend an order of penne alla vodka with grilled chicken.

Good food, but make sure to order ahead during busy times. If you order takeout in person be prepared to wait for more complicated orders than slices. Overall good experience but a bit of a long wait.

Best Pizza in Huntington hands down. No gimmicks (cold cheese pizza) no BS just real good, tasty, perfectly cooked pizza. I come from Brooklyn and have lived and worked in the five boroughs most of my life. Have had Pizza from all of those boroughs as well as from Venice, Fiorenze, Rome, and a couple of other Italian towns. Johnny D's rates right up with the best of them. And I just recently began frequenting their establishment. Keep up the good work guys! PS going there tonight for a pie.

Best salad's and pasta I've had! Had a birthday surprise for my boss and ordered last minute and they made it happen! Not only that! Everyone asked "Where did you get the food?" Jonny D's is one of my favorite local pizza joints. I came in close to closing one day and they went out of their way to still provide great service and delicious pizza. Their delivery is also excellent. Everything I've had from here is good.

Johnny D's Pizzeria in Huntington is so delicious! I especially am a big fan of the pepperoni pizza! So good I can't have one slice I've got have two. Haven't found a pizza as good as Johnny D's. Best pizza around by far for miles and miles.

We Only Rate pizza Quality. Pretty solid, bit thin slice. Not many speciality slices. Garlic knots are not as spongey as i’d like. Cheese on pizza is solid , crust is not bad bit crunchy

Friendly greeting, nice variety of pies to select slices from if you are not up for an entire pizza. Salads are a good size and if you add grilled chicken I think they add an entire pound of it, freshly grilled, not sitting pre cubed in a fridge, and its very flavorful. I make a point of eating here when I am in the area. Great place.

Bet Pizza in Huntington hands down. The freshness of the ingredients and the highest quality ans that includes the great salads. One time I left my wallet in my gum bag yet Johnny let me take the pizza out as I have been a loyal customer for 2 years and i did return and pay it off. they have the thin crust which i prefer and the sauce is made there and they use the best cheese, no oil on pepperoni

The pizza at Jonny D’s Pizza is very tasty. Everything from the dough to the sauce to the cheese is good. I always try to grab two pepperoni slices and a fountain soda every time I pass New York Avenue driving towards downtown Huntington. I recommend their pizza.

Consistently excellent pizza, with great balance of flavors. The crust is simple but artful – a very thin layer of almost-charred crispiness at bottom, with just a little al dente, yeasty flavored dough, not too thick or chewy, for the sauce and cheese to relax into; and it folds into a good bite without flopping all over the place. Good pizza is an art. Just think of how important it is that the sauce and the cheese hang onto the crust just in the right degree so it doesn’t all fall apart, and that the crust isn’t just a bunch of dough, but gives you all that great texture which makes you look forward to the next bite. I had the good fortune to grow up with great classic New York slices, and Jonny D’s just nails it, closer than any place else on Long Island I’ve discovered in the last 20 years. I’ve never had a bad pizza here, and they’ve always been the way I described.

I have had pizza from Jonny D's many times. I always enjoy it. I also enjoy reading the Pizza magazine issues they leave out. It's almost as though they care enough about serving quality food and running a good business that they continually keep an eye out on ways to improve. I don't understand the customers who have had a bad experience, aside from the fact that those people always exist, no matter what restaurant. Besides, is it that hard to talk to someone behind the counter if something isn't right or to call the place up? Nah, better to just vent online. :)

Probably some of the best wings in town! Big pieces and tasty. They did a renovation recently and it looks nice, also added new food. I'm gonna try the Philly hero next time! The counter people are nice, know my name and are great to BS with while you wait. Update- My usual place now. I'm a picky person and this place hasn't disappointed me yet. Their pies are big and made perfect. My old place, you would find little black pieces cooked into the crust often (told they didn't take the time to clean the oven right) Not here. I guess some people still take pride in their work! Well done Jonny D's!

Hadn't been in a while but still same great place

My boss told me how good the cheese steak was, so I drove from Central Islip to Johnny D's. Everything was fresh, the cheese steak was amazing.!!! The bread was soft and the cheese was melted and the meat was seasoned to perfection. It was so good I even called back to the restaurant to tell the guy how Amazing it was!. The cheese steak was phenomenal!!! I also got the grilled chicken Caesar salad and two slices. If you are ever in Huntington I highly recommend this place!!

Their chicken Parm is worthy of going out of your way for. Likewise with their eggplant Parm. Also - the salad I asked for instead of the pasta with the Parms was outta this world. They could totally have phoned it in with a bland side salad (lettuce, three cucumber slices and a piece of tomato), but instead it was a fabulous real salad, - with green peppers, red onions, cucumbers, and even olives! Love their house dressing too. Worthy of your attention!

I live right around the corner. It's my go to spot for pizza. The staff is always great. And the pizza is always good. Word of advice though, if you get their grilled chicken ceasar salad, you'll never be able to eat that meal from any place else. The marinated chicken is just that good.

Everyone was so friendly ana welcoming. This was our first time here and it won't be our last. Family member said pizza reminded him of the pizza he grew up as a kid in the city. Crust was nice and crunchy. Lots of gooey cheese. Leftover slice was delicious too.

Seen this pizza place a few times and decided to try it via doordash. Very rarely can I find a pizza place where the pizza, wings and garlic knots are good. This place had all 3 tasting great! I will definitely order again.

After not having a slice here in years, maybe even since 2017... They absolutely knocked it outta the park!! I'm super impressed! The last time I had eaten here, they still had a bar across the window. Since their renovations, the interior is sleek, eye-catching, and reveals a bit of the history about New York, Huntington, and even the establishment itself. Very nice, great conversation starter while waiting to chow down. As for the slices themselves, I had ordered a mushroom slice, as per family tradition. The crust had a wonderful crunch to it, which contrasted nicely to the generous amount of cheese. It's truly an intense love affair; slightly messy, incredibly satisfying, and a meal that demands to be enjoyed heartily from the very first bite. Some may find it overwhelming, but it's a slice that left me wishing I bought the pie. A wonderful balance, the kind of slice you see on the movie screens. If you're considering yourself a loyalist of any of the other local pizza joints, give Jonny another shot. Like a fine wine, they only have gotten better with age.

First time eating a Johnny Dee’s, my daughter recently moved into the Huntington area. We just had pizza, but it was excellent. I’m sure we will be returning.

The pizza here is really good, wish it was closer to where we live. We usually go to another place by us, but got a gift card so ordered from here and loved it! Great pies and slices. The dinners/meals were not as good as the pizza itself, so we would stick to the pies next time we order!

Definitely a good pizza. Nice people. Very organized. I like that. That makes me feel good about the ingredients that are in there and the people seemed happy to work. There means a lot to a business owner as well. Be proud

Two times ago the sauce tasted burnt the door was open letting in the traffic dust and the guy in the back was scratching his head. The box for the hero was nice

I ordered 2 pies, one 1/2 buffalo, 1/2 white, 1 regular cheese. I wasn't crazy about the buffalo chicken, it was breaded and dry. The old Campagnia was way better.

Its hard to find a good pizza place. In the past I would say this is the best place! The problem is the people who work there. They don't care ! And the Quality of the food has gone down because of that

The round pizza sucks the crust is tasteless and I'm not crazy about the sauce however everything else taste so much better. The buffalo wings are amazing and they make great calzones. Their granny pie and sicilian pie are the on pizza I would get there. I feel like telling the guy this every time I get asked "did you order any pizza?"

We kept it simple & ordered a large cheese pie, 1/2 plain 1/2 w/ some toppings and buffalo wings. It was edible; but Pie wasn't crispy, undercooked? oven not hot enough? and big pieces of raw red onion and raw green pepper, not appetizing. So stuck with the plain slice, but whatever cheese was used was too strong tasting and overpowered the pizza. Ordered mild buffalo wings, received buffalo that tasted like it was mixed with teriyaki sauce and too salty. Life is too short to eat mediocre pizza. So this place was a one & done for us.

Solid pizza, but shaky customer service. I've been here several times, and my satisfaction is always determined by who's working the counter. The managers/owners are nice and professional. But, depending on the counter girls mood.. there's no telling how your time there will end. On a positive note, I love their grandma slices.

Overall Jonny D's is slow, pizza is bad, and salads take you asking to get them made after you order them. Better options exist a literal minute away at New York Pizza, so if you can pass on Jonny D's.

Pizza was lacking flavor. Wasted. Had to throw it out. At the counter, Not sure if server is hard of hearing or being funny. But repeating my order 3 times as you grab each slice. First and last visit. Smh!

I’ve never done this before but I had to give a poor review. Ordered a pizza and Tenders and they didn’t send me the pizza. Gave two stars because the Tenders were good.

Quality of food is poor at best. Presentation is not very appealing and quantity is sparse. Flavor is missing and salt can’t even bring it out sadly.

Ingredients are inferior. Cheese is so salty it is barely edible. I could have sworn they were using Kraft. And it cost twenty dollars for 4 slices to go. Don't know what happened there but they are terrible in my opinion.

Won’t be going back Seems like the quality has gone down hill this year. Ordered a sausage parmigiana hero and a chicken parmigiana hero. The bread was either toasted stale bread or just cheap bread to start with. It was like biting into a cracker. The sauce tasted like cheap canned sauce, and on mine I had asked for “a little salt and pepper”. Taste like they dumped half the shaker. Too bad because the staff is nice and the pizza is decent but not as good as some of their competitors in the area.

Back again. It's been almost two years and I see they must have new owners. Maybe the food here changed. Nope! Had a couple of different slices that were not good at all. Sour sauce! Maybe canned, because that's what all pizzeria are using now. This was once a very good pizza joint. WELL I BROKE DOWN LAST NIGHT AND TRIED THEM AGAIN. NO BUENO!!! THE WINGS WERE NOT ONLY SMALLER IN SIZE (WHICH THEY CLAIM ARE "JUMBO"), BUT THEY WERE ALSO DRIED OUT. YOU HAVE SOME NERVE OWNER TO DO WHAT YOU DO WITH THESE OUTRAGOUS PRICE INCREASES. I USE TO SPEND AT LEAST $50 HERE A WEEK FOR YEARS... BUT NO MORE!!!!! YOU SHOUKD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. AND BY THE WAY, THE PIZZA SLICE, I HAD ALSO INCLUDED, HAD ABSOLUTEY "NO" FAVOR AND TOO MUCH MOZZARELLA. A BLAND TASTELESS SAUCE , WHICH THERE WAS HARDLY ANY OF ON THIS SLICE. GOOD RIDDENCE JOHNNYS.

If you call for delivery. Doesn't seem to matter what day or time... Expect to wait an hour. Last time was 1hr 20 min for a pie. Was room temperature. I'm no further than 5 min away. Not raining. Just want delivery once in a while. I understand 45min but 1.5 hrs for a pie that takes a total of less than 15min to make from scratch and less than 10min to get in the car and ring the bell. What were you doing for the other hour??? Terrible. You need to fix that.

The food just wasn't good. I've had pizza in a dozen different pizzeria in Huntington. I was passing by and thought the only way to know is to try so try I did. Pepperoni slice sausage, slice and a Sicilian square. Also a chicken roll which was unusually cold as if it had been almost frozen. on a 1 to 10 I gave it a 3. Rather disappointed . won't be returning.

The pizza was so badly made it was a mess! You couldn’t even pick up a slice. Worst of all taking it back to the restaurant the owner said there was nothing wrong with it! All of the toppings were at the bottom of the box! He is a very and arrogant man!

I was using the bathroom and after I was done ,one of the employees were so rude and he said why don’t you use another bathroom.He was racist and talking bad about me because I was black.Please I wanna know if customers can use the bathroom!!!!? And also I was with my kids and there were so shocked to hear that .Is there any way I can talk to the manager.🤬🤬

They got my order totally wrong, forgivable - but also left my slices in the oven too long, again forgivable. But then this guy starts arguing with me that the slices weren't burnt? NEVER going back. Serious customer service issues at a pizzeria in a town with dozens of other pizzerias.

The most rude staff... unorganized and dirty

My husband and I ordered a pie this weekend. It was delivered cold, slimy and with no flavor. After one bite I declared it absolutely unedible. I tried calling the restaurant but no one answered phone. I am assuming the caller idea popped up and they new I was going to complain. (Of course, I will never be able to prove it.) No way they could have looked at that pie and said "Job well done". More than enough pizza joints in this town so there is No need to go back to them. Enjoy our dollars you scammed from us, you will never get another one from our wallets.

I placed a order yesterday 1/13/25 for a heart shade pizza for my girls and with their name letters ( I show the picture of what I want ) they said yes , and now that went for the pizza was nothing similar with what I asked 😏 by the way was the dinner for me and my girls to celebrate San valentin after a hard and stressful day of work 🥺

Just ordered fettuccine Alfredo. First. It came with spaghetti. The Alfredo tastes like jar stuff. It was soupy and Taste less. The garlic bread was mushy and over salted. First and only time going here. 🤢

Ordered a take out with a large pizza and a ceaser salad recently from this restaurant. I found there were a lot of flies in the salad. I should have taken pictures and post it there but I totally forgot about it. They should clean the veggies before giving people to eat. Will I go there again? Probably not. Too scary 😟 😨

This rating is only to reflect on the service of the manager Kayla. Her attitude was not becoming as one who should be managing a food service establishment. I asked for my family and I to be moved to another table because of limited room of the table. She informed me that the only reason she gave us another table was because the next seating was a party of two and the small table would be fine for them. She went out of her way to advise me it was not because I asked her or that she could care at all that we had enough room for our food at the table. My husband biscuit and gravy came out cold and he ordered additional food not to complain. Kayla came over to the table and asked if he wanted her to heat up the order. No apologies, or anything. and who want someone to stick their food in the microwave rather than asking if he wanted her to redo the order. Someone need to tell her about Customer Service and send her back through training. Our waitress was Awesome. Other than the manager the restaurant was a thumbs up. Will find if Kayla is there before eating there again.

i'm only writing this review because my 5 year old son asked me why we left the restaurant. we went inside the pizzeria. there was literally no one in line. i waited for about 5 minutes patiently. no acknowledgement; no order taken. i watched people who were seated get up, approach the counter get helped. i watched delivery drivers walk in, approach the counter and get helped. It's when somebody who i didn't believe to be a delivery person walked in and skipped past me, head to the counter and get helped that i decided to call my son (who i asked to get us some seats upon entering) over to leave. I've never written a review in my life but, i strongly believe my treatment was primarily due to race (black). i deem my son too young for these talks at this point in his life so i have decided to leave my experience here.

Went to pick up an order and they had me waiting for 30 minutes after saying itll only take 5 minutes. That was already not a good start but as im waiting for the food. I go to sit down and look up to see two men laughing while one of them is doing obscenities with him tongue towards me. Theres creepy men everywhere but I cant even get pizzas in peace no more smh

Johnny D’s has some nerve selling these nasty elementary school grade Patties. At least purchase a quality frozen burger if you’re going to charge almost $20 for it (with fries of course). I had to add cheese to my burger and put it in the air fryer. Still didn’t eat it. We like the service here and some of the food which is why we’re customers. but shame on you for this. We wasted money and are still hungry. Tuh
