They were very nice, food was great will be coming back.
Great place! Definitely one of the best DQ places by far. They offer Military discounts so that’s definitely a big plus. Friendly staff regardless of whatever time you come in I’ve been here in the mornings, afternoons & evenings and their Customer Service is always amazing.
This is now my favorite Dairy Queen! Excellent Customer Service! They even give out Big Straws with the Shakes so you are not sucking your head inside out trying to get the strawberry bits up the straw! Nobody else does that!
(The phone number listed is not DQ. It goes to a private person s phone. ) Glad to see the phone issue is being looked into for the sake of the folks that had to screen a wrong number especially. We got an ice cream cake from you store and it was very good. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only took a short time to wait for writing on the cake. 👍
It's new. It's awesome. Love the show of local love! We ordered 5 blizzards and 3 people brought them out and flipped each one over! #itsthesmallthings Walking in to so many smiling people makes the whole experience better. Happy employees means happy customers! :D
I was there a couple of days ago and I believe her name is Jennie was outside helping me with my order totally amazing I just had to have the TikTok famo parfait
Big shout out to Patrick for the great service. This was our 3rd time visiting a DQ, and Patrick was patient as we decided what to order and he also brought out our blizzards as we finished our meals. The restaurant was very clean, and liked that they supported local businesses and military service members.
Juan Carlos took my order, and had great attitude.customer service was excellent I wish that there was more young adults with just as much respect he is a great leader
This is the best Dairy Queen that I go too.We order and sit our fresh fries and burgers. I have been to other's and this is the best one for my family.
I would give so much for the Mayfields to take over the DQ in Pflugerville. This location is just like the one on Burnet. Clean, well-lit, orders are accurate, and the food is great. I purposely drive out of my way to come here instead of the DQ in Pflugerville and y’all should too. This is how all DQs should operate.
Fast, friendly, and clean. Great store with very polite staff. We usually stop by a Dairy Queen on the way home from a trip, typically in a small town. Those are always local attractions but tend to be old and not as clean. This store was new and very clean.
We stopped in for a snack and shared a basket of the three for $5 tacos on sale. The taco shells were very crisp, there was plenty of meat and toppings. They were well worth the $5. The facility was very clean.
Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Food was fresh and ice cream was delicious. Best DQ location I've been to.
Great food. They also give a vet discount which surprised me. A good time.
This one in Hutto is very good. Great fries.
I came in right before closing time and let me tell you! This crew was so welcoming! Not only where they happy to work my order but they were genuinely interested in how my day was. (side note) I had just worked an 18 hour day and hadn't eaten all day. I ordered my food and they upgraded my drink, asked how I was, and thanked me for coming. Not only was my food hot, it was fresh, delicious, and perfectly made! For as long as I am around I will always give my patronage to this location for as long as they are open. Thank you guys, you truly made my night worth while!
Our favorite lunch spot & favorite DQ in Texas!
The food was pretty good compared to other fast food, the blizzards were fire but the service here was amazing! Especially from Desarae she was very knowledgeable about the menu items and was very helpful! She should lowkey get a raise.
When it comes to a quick and satisfying meal, Dairy Queen is a top contender. Their Hunger Buster burger and chicken strips, along with their signature Ice Cream Blizzard, are certainly customer favorites. Despite busy times, the staff is dedicated to keeping the line moving smoothly with an efficient approach. Remember to show your appreciation - even a simple "thank you" can go a long way. If you happen to be traveling through the area, do yourself a favor and make a stop at this spot!
Thank you to the very kind and patient staff at Hutto DQ!!! We brought our daughter and her volleyball team in to celebrate her birthday today. They truly went above and beyond. I'm very thankful to the owner, GM, and the entire staff!!! You guys are wonderful and we will keep those memories for a life time! It was extra meaningful to us as we travel for work. So we have only been in the area for 6 months. Our daughter's volleyball team being able to celebrate with us made her birthday feel like home away from home. You truly don't know how special this small town kindness meant to this nomad family. Hutto forever has such a place in our hearts! Stay awesome and thank you again and again!
I love me some Chaz! Beautiful spirit - you can just feel it! 🫶🏾 And the food is always good. I come often and haven’t had any issues. It’s typically hot and the employees are just as kind as Chick-Fil-A employees. I love this location! ☺️
We drive-through Hutto a few times a month and we happened.to stop at the Dairy Queen today. It was hands down the best customer experience we have ever had for fast food especially.. It was fast efficient the drive-through gentleman was a trainee I think Jakob? was Amazing.and friendly..You would think he worked there for years, the manager even came up to the window chatting with us asking how our day was it was great!! Every Dairy Queen needs to be just like this one, every restaurant for that matter!!
It was like a blast back to my childhood! Everything was great and this location is so clean.
We love to stop here after visiting Home Depot. Believe it or not, thier tacos are really good. For fast food tacos, they beat most.
Patrick went above and beyond to take care of his customers. We were there before midnight on a holiday. He was obviously exhausted but when he came outside to give us our food and saw our dog, he came back to grab her a puppy cup. The treat really helped with our rescued dog's anxiety. The blizzard and soft serve ice cream were both amazing. We truly appreciate him working so hard on a holiday night.
We were traveling to Round Rock On our way back to San Antonio and decided to get a small bite to eat here at this location. I secured a 3 tacos $5 deal on the app for my wife and a $7 full meal deal made fresh to order for myself. The service was pretty quick to take & secure our order at this location... not having to wait a lengthy period of time only for the food to be made fresh as well as very outgoing window and staff people at this location. The food tasted excellent. The only take away would be that I requested for some sauted onions and yet when I bit into my sandwich the sandwich onions were barely cooked more or less raw still but still a very good sandwich and was more than a great value for the cost that we paid giving us the ability to continue our travels back to San Antonio. If you're ever traveling or in the local area of Round Rock I would highly recommend you slide through this location and order some fresh delicious food well worth it thank you for the great experience!!!
My husband and I just drove through for a quick treat. I got a blizzard and he got a vanilla milkshake. Both were very delicious and as always we enjoy going to Dairy Queen and have for many many years!
Very clean, very polite, updated menu, TV child friendly. Quick service
Great customer service, good was great, nice and fresh. Place was also clean! I usually don’t stop at Dairy Queen’s near home because they’re taking apart but this one was worth it.
Dairy quinn is always a great place to take your family for a sweet treat. And just good fun
We love this DQ for a weekly family treat. The customer service is very good and the ice cream literally melts in your mouth! The DT is fast and friendly! We will keep coming weekly!
While their food is good, Dairy Queen's marketing choices are strange... their attempts at inserting their brand into pop culture is really stupid. It is so stupid in fact, that it is actually funny. I dined here earlier today and saw "Game of Cones" on the TV screen. This literally means nothing, and it's not even a pun because Game of Thrones has nothing to do with eating ice cream. The "Bacon I am your father" ad uses lazy clip art and Darth Vader from Angry Birds Star Wars (meaning the pig is wearing another pig). Also, if the pig is saying this to a strip of bacon, wouldn't that mean he is saying this to (a peice of) his dead son? This being said, I always get a good laugh at these advertisements- a unique experience no other restaurant has given me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐✅
The manager was my cashier for my order and he was really nice. I wanted a dipped cone with more than one flavor, but they couldn't do that. Instead they put the ice cream in the bowl form and put my two flavors on it. The treat tasted the same as a cone. Probably cost me a little more than a cone too.
Everyone was so nice and friendly. The food was warm and tasted really good! From the time we walked in to the tune we left everyone working was so friendly! I highly recommend this location and MAKE SURE WHEN YOU GO TO DQ LOOK FOR A MAYFIELD DQ!!! They have the best food and service!!! We went to visit the DQ in manor, the food was cold and tasted very odd. The service was not up to par!! I was very disappointed!! So make sure you look for a MAYFIELD DQ!! Also they are invested in the community and our Veterans!! That’s amazing in my heart!!
Wonderful dairy Queen wonderful service. People here are outstanding. I come here quite regularly and will continue to because they know how to treat people, especially veterans. Thank you dairy Queen. Thank you for hiring good quality individuals. You have a customer with me for life. Sincerely, Joseph Hall of Hutto Texas
Got here at the height of dinner hour and were able to order quickly and also got help from the friendly staff with choosing ice creams for kiddos. Nice enough atmosphere for fast food style resto. Nice and cool ❄️ - and convenient location for us on Ed Schmidt! Can't lose with a stop in at DQ, esp with kiddos! 😀
Parking lot is very well Lit. Loved the tacos and chicken strips. The gentleman who took my order in drive thru was extremely polite and attentive. Read my order back to me and made sure everything was correct. Even at the Window he repeated my order to me. I regret to say that I didn't remember his name but the NAME/EMPLOYEE ON THE TICKET SAYS...DT TABLET 1
Never been to a Dairy Queen in Texas before and my husband was right, the flavors are better! Had a French Silk blizzard and I'll never have another so yummy. They have different items on the menu also like tacos, and texas sauce and a root beer barrel! People were friendly and inviting. I've never had such a great time at a Dairy Queen. Thank you Hutto!
I was having a really bad day and went into this dairy queen for lunch, and the staff was so friendly! They were so sweet and the people in front really made me laugh and put a smile on my face. They're always so pleasant even just going through the drive through! I love this DQ. Ya'll are doing amazing work! :)
During my recent visit to Dairy Queen, I was incredibly impressed by the outstanding service provided by the staff. From the moment I stepped through the door, the servers greeted me warmly with genuine smiles, creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere. Their positive energy was contagious, immediately making me feel welcomed and valued. The servers were not only friendly but also remarkably attentive. They ensured that my order was taken accurately and efficiently, even during peak hours. Their attention to detail, from confirming my preferences to checking in during my meal, showcased their dedication to providing top-notch customer service. It was refreshing to see such commitment to making every guest’s experience enjoyable. What stood out the most was how the staff managed to stay professional while being personable and engaging. They maintained great communication among themselves, which resulted in quick service without any hiccups. Their ability to juggle multiple tasks, all while maintaining a cheerful demeanor, was truly impressive. Overall, my experience at Dairy Queen was elevated by the exceptional service from the servers. Their friendly nature, attentiveness, and professionalism made my visit memorable. I look forward to returning, knowing that both the food and the service will exceed expectations every time.
This place is amazing! The chicken is the bomb! Its so clean the staff is so friendly and the new blizzard-the snowdrift is friggin' awesome! Best DQ i have ever been to
Great experience at this Dairy Queen! I had a craving for a chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard and this satisfied it! They still do the thing where they tip the blizzard upside down before handing it to you to show its thickness. I took updated menu photos since the photos on here are old and prices outdated.
Decided to give them a shot since I was in town and was famished. Ended up getting the Dude sandwich with a strawberry shake. Can actually say, neither one was a disappointment. The shake over filled with strawberries, it was beyond delicious however, I ordered a medium...should have opted for a small, was full before I even got half way down to it. My sandwich, didn't even have room to eat it but once I got home later that night, I warmed it up in the oven and had it for dinner, it was delicious!
This Dairy Queen stays busy! With that said you cannot go wrong eating here for fast food. The staff are always happy and friendly and the management seems stay on top things. The beta part is they offer military discount for active duty and veterans. They even have signs stating so when you walk indoors and through the drive through window. My favorite ice cream is the peanut buster parfait. Next is their blizzards. Finally for food you cannot go wrong with a belt buster burger! I love the double or triple belt buster! Their burgers are juicy and flavorful! They have clean restrooms here and there is plenty of parking. Seating is good for both small and large groups. The driver through is always busy when I come here during the evenings. Definitely check this place out!
I'm not a fan of the hamburgers or steak and chicken finger baskets here, but I really enjoy the crispy tacos. There is always a long line for the drive thru, but I guess it's worth the wait. Plus, the ice cream is good, I've never received an ice cream from here that is pretty melted 🫠 like I have at Sonic or McDonald's. I'm a returning customer.
Very friendly young lady at the window. The food wasn't the best. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, and the lettuce was soft and mealy. I only got 3 strips of the grilled chicken breast on my salad, which to me is ridiculous for a $12 salad. However, all and all everything else was pleasant
They are friendly, get orders right, keep a clean restaurant, and make decent food and ice cream. You can tell the staff take pride in the customer experience. Good place worth your money although not very fresh food.
My family decided to try the recently opened Dairy Queen in Hutto, Texas. It has been steadily busy since opening recently and it was busy, but not overly crowded today. The staff, while obviously new, is friendly, courteous, and appeared well trained. They even took care of a small mistake with our order courteously and quickly. We will definitely be eating there again in the future.
This is a fantastic DQ, it is a new building and the staff are always delivering great service. There is never a long wait and the food is always consistent. They don't skimp on the blizzard mixins either.
We only got desert. We went inside because the drive through was packed. Was fast, but there must be corn syrup in the ice cream, because I enjoyed it but my body paid for it later.
Originally had a 5 star rating but the last couple of visits have been bad. Order is messed up and when verbally confirmed before leaving they lie and say it's correct.
Got a frozen birthday cake. I think it might have gone bad at some point. It was grainy and had a weird taste. Very disappointing
I realize I should only go there for the ice cream, which they do incredibly well. $14 for a 6 piece chicken tender meal that should have only qualified as a 6 piece nugget. Nothing like the pictures. Food was luke - warm when received which is nutty because there was only one car ahead of us and parking lot was almost empty. Not sure what the sauce was that came with the meal but they should just lose it.. They're just wasting money. That being said... They do ice cream incredibly well.
I've visited this location twice for ice cream only. My only complaint is that both times I've been here, the employees have been so unfriendly. They literally just looked at us with a blank expression, took our order and handed us the number without saying a single word. Then, the person who brought our food to the table dropped it off without saying a word. I get it; it's a fast food job where you're probably working too much and getting paid too little. At the end of the day, you need paying customers to run a business and a little customer service could go a long way.
Sometimes the food is a hit and sometimes it's a flop. The recent visit it was a flop the burger was greasy but the previous day before this visit it was a hit, that's why we went back.
Went by and ordered a regular meal and a kids meal, they didn't give me a kids meal, they gave me another regular meal; big burger, big bag no small burger or ice cream treat... disappointing.
Made a mobile order and came home to eat and my husband goes to pour his “large” fries out onto his burger wrapper and they had literally put a medium fry container inside a large one… like come on guys. If somebody pays for a large give a large. I don’t see how that can at all be an accident
For the price they charge for a large Blizzard they should be making them where they are full. Every other DQ has their Blizzards full. Then when I asked the guy at the window he just said"oh, sorry about that". Well, sorry about the fact I won't be spending my money at this Hutto location again. Update: the bottom 2 inches of the blizzard were just ice cream, none of the selected ingredient that should be mixed throughout.
So, food is always great. Never an issue. However, the employees mask wearing is. This is the 3rd time I went(yesterday) and saw inside employees not wearing masks properly. This time, it was the cook. He had it below his nose. I had emailed them a few weeks ago and discussed this with a very nice man. Please have your employees, especially the cook! Wear masks properly. I know its hot. I get it. It sucks. But working with peoples food, it needs to be worn properly.
Edit: I stopped by a Pflugerville Location and I ordered the same thing from my previous post. Quess what, it was $4 cheaper! I know each location sets its own prices but that is a huge difference. I’m leaving two stars simply because a small vanilla ice cream cone and a mini one topping blizzard, should not cost over $10 This location’s prices have nearly doubled in a year. Corporations/ Franchises using inflation as an excuse.
We ordered tacos with a misty freeze, cheese curds and fries with 2 ranches. They didnt give us a straw, the food was cold, the tacos were half empty, and they missed the ranch. The service is typically good but they just didn't follow through with our order.
We got two regular cheeseburgers when we ordered TWO of the Bacon Jam MEALS which were $12+ so feeling ripped off. there was no bacon jam, no onion rings no cheese and jalapeño ranch as pictured at the drive-through.I’ve left 3 messages as your machine cuts off after 15 seconds. Not happy about overpaying for something I didn’t order. Please contact me. As we only got tiny little regular cheeseburgers which are certainly much cheaper than what we ordered and paid for. We paid $37+ for the two meals which would have been ok if we got what we ordered. Please make this right and call me back
The staff is very unprofessional and need to be trained how to interact with the public. When they mess up my order they have an attitude. When I respond with we’ll ask your co worker who took my order the manager gets upset and make a smart comment. But, no wonder they act this way there is no accountability because it is a FRANCHISE! They hire who they can, there is no training and definitely no respect for customers! I will not spend a nickel at this location!
They website said they closed at 12 am they were closed by 11:00 pm
I went to the Hutto location and find it to be well run. I ordered 2 orders of tacos and had an extra one added to each order at $1.29 each. They forgot to add my extra tacos. I left a message for the manager, but never received a call back.
I pulled up on a cold night at 10:30 pm and there was an employee standing outside taking orders. No one was in the drive thru. This was very unnecessary.
Wow 45 minutes waiting in the drive thru just to get to the window and see someone who looked like he did not want to work there. Then to witness them HEATING UP BURGERS IN THE MICROWAVE. . . WHAAAAT!!!!. . . not fresh burgers . . .disappointed I guess I'll just stick with whataburger P.s. don't even try to write to the corporate office, they don't give a hoot and never reply back to feed back
Food was typical. Service was typical. My review is because I told a crew member I needed to take my two young kiddos to the bathroom we will be right back please don’t throw away our food. We come back, food drinks everything was gone… I told the person up front he didn’t seem to care. I just said can my boys please have their ice cream cones He gave them the cones… but that was almost 30.00 worth of food someone threw away
Normally, I am a huge fan of our local Dairy Queen, but not tonight. First, there was a trainee doing the register with no trainer assisting so that took a while. That wouldn’t have been an issue had orders been processed in order! I had been waiting for about 10 minutes for an order of 2 blizzards and a pup cup before a group with a young female (who apparently had friends working in the back) ordered ice cream for her and 4 others. They made those sundaes, blizzards and banana split before my order. There was also another young girl that came in and ordered a blizzard (another friend) and her order was brought out while I waited. It wasn’t made until I asked a manager to check and she had the staff make my order, which was another 5 minutes. I understand when restaurants are busy having to wait, but to watch orders come out well after mine and others had been placed and solely based on it being a friend is unacceptable.
Not accommodating to those who have disabilities Also, kinda annoying they have someone outside 20 feet away from the menu so you can barely read it. They just assume you know what you want like they are a short menu place similar to chick fil a or in-n-out. Andy’s at least has two or three menus so you can see before getting to the human walking the line or at the window. It’s also 85° outside and there are four total cars in the drive through. The human isn’t needed.
Girl working drive thru was super rude, I wasn't done ordering and just told me to pull forward told her I was still ordering more and she answered with attitude for no reason, when I pulled up she was hiding behind some guy laughing. I tried to make a complaint but it was shrugged of as a normal thing. If you don't like your job find a new one sis.
Don’t even know what to say. We get all our birthday cakes from here. Wife goes in tonight, two trainees at the counter both arguing with her about cake flavors because apparently they don’t know a basic cake exists. After 10mins my wife pulls it up online and they still say she’s wrong. 🤦🏻♂️ Finally got what she requested and the dang thing is freezer burned inside like it’s been sitting around for a while. Time for a new place.
This place used to be awesome, but it’s really gone downhill. The service was terrible, and the staff was super rude. When the food was brought to our table we said “thank you” multiple times and never got a “you’re welcome” back. The food was awful, and they messed up our order. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend coming here anymore. Hopefully management takes notice and makes the necessary changes.
I ordered Dairy Queen for lunch today. All items were well sealed for delivery and my food was fine. The issue was in my drink. When I dumped out the rest of my cola, there was a hunk of metal in the bottom of my cup! How on earth could this happen? Is this a broken part from the ice machine? Not good.
App has been a huge issue here. Have been unable to redeem on multiple occasions. They also don't flip my blizzard half the time.
went inside to order a single ice cream cone & it took over 15 minutes… that’s ridiculous. i’m not one to lose patience but with 5 people in the ice cream section of the building & it taking that long to get a cone…. who wouldn’t.
My boyfriend and I went to DQ earlier and we order through Drive Thru, two blizzards, my boyfriend’s Medium blizzard was literally just filled 3/4, it was not full at all. Then they give me mine, mine was full which, nice, thank you, but, then I start eating it, and I find chunks of pineapple in it? I ordered a Royal New York Cheesecake Blizzard! How come there’s chunks of pineapple in it? It didn’t even have the strawberry center, now I know it might be hard to get the whole center filled with the strawberry, but it barely had ONE piece of strawberry! We were literally going to drive back, but we had to get home, didn’t eat it right away cause I got stuff going on, I just finish eating this till now and I’m just really upset that I didn’t get what I wanted. I hope to hear back from you all.
Was told by rude assistant manager (I assume) that because the order was placed more than 10 min prior that I couldn't get a refund and would have to call corporate. Although it was because they took longer than 20 minutes to make my order. I said OK, immediately left the store and called corporate. Really saddened by the service, it used to be my favorite place to eat out in Hutto.
I went through the drive thru for a cone, no-one in front of or behind me and the parking lot barely had anyone. The person took my order and didn't give me the total, instead they said I'll let you know at the window, which means they weren't logged in or at the window. And then I waited for about 5 mins for a cone. I almost left then because something was off when you have to wait that long for a cone. When she finally opened the window, I could see my cone on the counter dripping. She said she just made it......please. This is the reason I had to leave. I am not paying for you to lie to me and give me subpar service. I will go elsewhere.
Me and my family have been to this location many times to eat inside and never had a bad experience until today at the Drive-through. I ordered dinner for my family of 3. 1. Ordered a Beltbuster (double) combo with grilled onions and added bacon. Got a hungerbuster (single) with no bacon. Charged $2.50 extra for bacon and didn't get what was paid for. 2. Ordered 3 mini royal blizzards. They put them in 8 ounce coffee cups with the ice cream already melting and handed to me individually without flipping them upside down. A top on them would have been perfect. Total $17.37 for melted ice cream in a coffee cup that dripped all over my clothes right when I grabbed them. The person saw this and offered me extra napkins to clean myself. 3. Had to ask for a drink carrier (I was by myself at the time) as they give me ice creams and drinks one by one. Overall horrible experience, not a good thing after working long hours during the day.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Never in my life have I been served a raw chicken of any kind. I will never go back to a single Dairy Queen for the rest of my life. Every chicken tender was raw and I already ate two by the time I checked the other six. If I get sick I’m taking legal action.
Simple mistake order messed up, I ordered a triple ended up with a single. Call to see if there's anything that can be done about the price difference, just to be insulated and mocked that il starve now. My hunger isn't the concern the fact I paid for something and didn't receive my order and nor my money back . Not looking for anything free just want y'all to choose a better manager that will pay attention to the detail and care about what's coming out, whoever the manager is at mayfield DQ hutto Thurs Feb 26th @ 2:09 pm called just to hear her be rude and then offer me free stuff to try and cover up like her disrespect would go unnoticed. Food good and all service is really starting to decline though.
Don’t waste your money. Spent over $18 for 2 sundaes and cheese curds and this is what we got. The sundae was literally a cup of milk and the top was falling over the edge of the cup. The cheese curds were all mushed together and the breading was soggy. This is pathetic. Just stealing peoples hard earned money. Based on reading other peoples reviews, it seems something is going on at this DQ. We have been here many times and it never used to be that way. They would turn blizzards upside down and they were solid. I hope they get this figured out because I won’t waste my money again if they don’t.
