Hello, My name is Julie. I have been meaning to do this for awhile and I apologize for not getting around to it sooner. I am a Long Beach native, however the new Starbucks in my town is still working hard to figure out the heavy volume of customers. In the meantime, I have been going to the Island Park Starbucks. It is super close and convenient. My husband and I always do mobile orders for the most part. I have to say the people working at this Starbucks are some of the nicest and MOST hard working young people. My mother recently passed a few years ago and I have been dealing with a lot. The very fact that I get to start my day with this staff has boosted my spirits tremendously. It just goes to show a small act of kindness goes along way. I wish I knew all their names, but one in particular that is always SUPER kind to me is a man named John. Please, whoever the owner is and is reading this, your staff deserves a raise. As a recent worker in the restaurant industry I know how effective and important customer reviews are. Please take this one seriously. Thank you for your time.

Best staff ever. I come everyday and they always provide the best service with a smile. They follow COVID 19 protocol beautifully. Every single staff member is wonderful and I enjoy seeing them every morning! Not to mention, they were and continue to be there for us during a pandemic and they are ensuring to still go above and beyond for their customers. They deserve way more than five stars!!!!

The staff was great. The food and beverages were served quick,together and, exactly as ordered. The drive through is the best I've encountered. Quick and accurate, this may be the best choice of service due too the fact that this was the smallest Starbucks dining area I have encountered. Drink up🌞😊😁

One of the few Starbucks that has drive thru. On a major road after leaving the beach (Long Beach) so it can get crowded at times.

COFFEE IS TOO STRONG FOR ME BUT I PICK IT UP FOR MY WIFE WHO LOVES IT. THE DRIVE- THRU IS VERY VERY TIGHT, HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL GOING THRU!!

This is a small shop. It's off a main artery. No foot traffic. Clean, decent and great cuppa Joe. They must get their high volume during rush hours as they're across the road from the Island Park LIRR station. Their size does not allow a cozy setting.

Come here all the time and always have a good experience HOWEVER yesterday something irked me. I did a mobile order about 5 minutes prior to me going to the drive thru. I pulled up tell them I placed an order on the app and then waited behind two cars. My order said ready around 6:37pm. By the time I got up to the window it was about 6:41. This young girl with dark hair who i never saw before withheld my coffee as she told me "next time you might wanna give us like 5 minutes so you don't have to wait". I was so confused? It said my coffee was ready and I was to be waiting behind two cars anyway. As soon as I got to the window my coffee was ready so I didn't see the problem.

It's a Starbucks, really for coffee snobs. They don't like government employees. Only go if nothing around. McDonald's has better regular coffee.

The first visit here was good, the next couple felt lacking compared to other Starbucks.

The wait for the drive through window was at least 10-15 minutes two days in a row. About 5 vehicles were waiting. I drove away before ordering 2 days in a row. Drive through service usually fine. I went to Dunkin Donuts which certainly wasn't my first choice.

They have a drive thru although apparently they would prefer to move people in the drive thru as slow as humanly possible. When I have the small human with me in the car seat this is my only option. The dining room is small and I've notice that the coffee here is noticeably sweeter than other Starbucks locations.

Place an order online and they didn’t have strawberry so they put only dragon fruit. Sorry I didn't like the service I sow other girls making this for me at other stores and they do a great job. My mistake coming here.

No herbal tea and they don't know ingredients to kale mushroom bites. They couldn't be troubled. I found that information online.

RUDE employees on the drive through service. And why doesn’t Starbucks serve ketchup packets with breakfast sandwiches ? They charge enough and to not even carry ketchup is crazy.

The person helping me was nice and tried hard. Only thing is the drinks were terrible. I truly believe the employee was not trained as a barista at all and just left alone.

Waited at the drive through for about 10 minute and the drive through window employee forgot our order. Maybe he was having a bad day, but the young man was a bit rude rolling his eyes. Which I found quite amusing but annoying. I will be emailing the Branch Manager Ms. Sanchez in regards to the matter. Hopefully the horrible customer service will be addressed.

The guy that took my order was nice, not sure what his name was. Leila (I think that’s her name) made my refresher but didn’t bother to shake it even though the store was empty and they seemed more than staffed. She did forget the strawberry inclusions, to which I asked a different barista to please add since she was doing something else. Both seemed to have an attitude, and then she just added the dried strawberries on top without mixing them in.

Almost $7 for basically a MEDIUM cup of warm milk not a latte....

Absolutely terrible experience the girl that attended me was very rude also my frappe tasted horrible. I have called and called to try to get a hold of someone because my frappe is completely watered down and you cannot taste the caramel nobody even bothers to pick up the phone when the store was completely empty they also did not bother to give me a receipt

Worst place ever. Bad customer service, some employees don’t care about the drinks, never taste right, and you can tell by the look on the employees faces that they don’t want to be there. This past week they’ve messed up my drink and always have an attitude.

The staff at this establishment are very rude and get an attitude when ordering and/or recieving your order. Will not go back.

Horrible customer service on Saturday mornings. Today was my last day going. My coffee is never made the way I want it even though on other days it’s exactly how I want it. The man at the window on Saturday mornings just ignore what I say and as soon as I pay for my coffee he walks away from the window and I don’t get a chance to get my coffee fixed. I had to stop and go else where on my way to work to get coffee made my way which is just a drop of half and half almost black it’s very simple what I ask for.

Terrible drive-trough service ever! We ordered mid size latte and waited it around 20 minutes! When our order was ready they give us SMALL size. Ok, they apologize and after couple of minutes they gave us MID size. But when I tried that latte it was sweet pumpkin spice latte instead of regular! What the terrible service! I also tried to call them but they never pick up the phone. Ridiculous! Avoid that tortilla-speed drive-trough service and try your coffee on taste before you leave that ridiculous place!

Should have known better, don't use the drive through. Almost half an hour for a Grande Bold. What, everyone in front of me ordered a foofy specialty drink with food? It was the barista's first day and they had to consult the image guide for each drink? Should have gone to 7-11 for a Brazilian. And saved $2 to boot. 🤔

I’ve been there three separate times and every time they’ve made the wrong order. CHECK WHAT YOU GET. They mess up way too much for the money they are receiving. How hard is it to look at the tag and make the drink correctly.

I normally I do not complain but I got this delivered it’s. Supposed to be a green to lemonade i honestly don’t know what it is . It taste like water with a splash of lemon

They closed the really good Starbucks in sands shopping center so I had went here. They were slow and rude. I ordered a grande coffee which they charged and gave me a tall coffee. When the extremely rude fake redhead handed me the coffee she said tall and my order said grande when I questioned her she got defensive and was extremely rude. This is the Starbucks they should’ve closed not one in the sands shopping center. The staff here is just awful and rude.

It I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. Extremely unprofessional and rude employees. I went there today and ordered THREE coffees and when I got to the window the man helping me said he only got two, so I asked if he can please add the third one. Even though it was HIS MISTAKE (no biggie, mistakes happen), he told me that I would need to park and go inside to resolve the issue after I WAITED 20 minutes on line. I ended up leaving with none of my coffees and will not be returning.

I had an awful experience this morning I was trying to ask that lady that was in drive thru about a matcha drink and she acted plain ignorant like she didn’t know what I was asking making me feel dumb and with an attitude looking at me as if I didn’t belong there. I've been going to this location for a decade and never ceases to amaze me how the service could decline every year but this location remains open. Staff sitting at tables meant for customers while every other table is taken, staff at drive thru can't take an order without messing something up, no food order comes with napkins unless you ask. Just on unpleasant and over priced experience every time.

I usually use the drive to buy my usual black ice tea/with a touch of peach... we all know it's not real peach. I tell them to please use very little and I repeat that and then ask for them to cut it with water and ice. The sugar content is beyond ridiculous. What does this attendant do but use as much sugar as possible. It was so sweet it tasted bitter. I had no time to return and ask for my money. They should follow directions because we're talking about someone health. Don't go to this location if you're following a healthy diet and trying to avoid excessive sugar... "m going to be making my drinks at home..

Very upset the cashier at the drive up decided not to pay attention to the change I had in my hand to give him with my cash. I said “EXCUSE” he ignored me the manager in the back saw me ignored me too, very rude and unprofessional people work there I will no longer go to his location. When my coffee was handed to me I said I have the change he said “well the register is closed” unbelievable I’m in shock of this service horrible service there! Island park and Lynbrook Starbucks went down hill, I never recommend neither locations!

Walked into Starbucks for the first time this year. I ordered a simple “Bacon, Egg, and Cheese”, only to be met with a passive aggressive glare from the barista with purple hair. The moment I dared to ask, “What’s the Gouda?” a completely reasonable question, mind you, they let out a condescending chuckle, as if I’d just asked if coffee comes from cows. Apparently, ignorance of their pretentious menu is a crime, and I was now the punchline to their inside joke. Never again. Why can’t we all try to be nice to people who don’t frequent Starbucks and I thought Starbucks was suppose to provide a good experience for all.

Bought these cups in-store two days ago they all cracked and broke within a day. Called the store they told me to come in and swap them out. Went in today and dealt with the manager vilma or wilma i don’t know the exact spelling. She was flat out rude and basically told me to kick rocks “ Call corporate and deal with it “ .. Have no idea how a person with such horrible people skills could become a manager of a store. Besides that the store has always been pleasant and good. Thankfully i just got off the phone with corporate and they showed me the respect a customer should get and fixed the situation.

This store lacks customer service. The manager is sloppy. Coffee is marginal. There is a coffee shop just over the bridge in Long Beach, much better or DD up the road. Bought coffee for our monthly women's group. They ground it so finely it tasted burnt. The manager refused to take it back. Never again for this location.
