We had lunch with an appetizer, first course, second course, wine, coffee, and an after-dinner drink for twenty euros. Excellent value. The service was also excellent. The inn also rents electric bikes for €40 a day.

I hadn't booked and there was no room, but I was able to use the deckchairs for free and had lunch around 2:00 PM anyway. The polenta concia with sausage was good. Good value for money, too. Great courtesy. I'll be back, but only after reserving a table!

I've given this review some thought, so I've let it sit for a while, and this introduction is necessary: ​​briefly, during our stays in the valley in June, July, August, and sometimes September, we visit a different valley every two or three days based on our hiking plans. This is a pleasant location off the beaten tourist track, very beautiful for hikes, but it doesn't offer any restaurant options. Given that this inn offers quality ingredients and extremely light, home-cooked cuisine, the price-to-price ratio isn't a good fit for us, obviously compared to what we've found elsewhere. The staff is polite, but the portions are small for a hiker, but perhaps suitable for those arriving by car. The recipes are good, but nothing more than good old-fashioned cooking. We won't be returning.

A negative experience, unfortunately. We decided to dine there, having made a reservation the previous day, as we were between two Observatory shows. The menu consisted of three courses. We ordered the appetizer buffet, 15 euros; it consisted of only cold food like rice salad, farro, veal roasted in tomato sauce, pickled giardiniera, and little else. I understand that we could have refilled it as many times as we wanted, but 15 euros seems rather excessive for that type of food. Not to mention the main course: 15 euros for a sausage, two boiled potatoes, and two slices of cheese. Speechless. That dish was worth 6 euros at most. And dessert, a mini cup of I don't remember what, 5 euros. I understand everything: that there weren't many people, inflation, and the high cost of living. But that's just not the way it should be. Disappointed, especially since the reviews weren't bad. Too bad.
