OMG, their burgers. Local dive-ish bar, full of people who will wonder if they know you from town. Great place for pool tournaments, and their after-parties. Can take an entire rugby team and fit in well!

We came with a party of 12 on a Friday night and it was incredible how attentive the staff was. Food was great for a dive bar and they even turned the TV's on for our out of state team. Would come back!

My brother in law and I were in town to help move family. Earlier in the day I had given my girlfriend my card and my brother didn't have his either. After dropping a friend off we wanted to have a drink and made it just in time for last call. Not realizing I did not have my card ooops. Matt the bartender came to the rescue after a long day of moving he really made my day. I will definitely be going back my next trip to Ithaca and hope I can repay Matt the way he did to us. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. I bought my first beer here on my 21st birthday and 19 years later I'm still there multiple times a week.

Best to go on Tuesday nights (any burger half-price!) or when there's a good game on. Not too fancy, but I don't think sports bars are supposed to be. Also their rotating draft beer selection is awesome!

Food here is always amazing. I got custom spicy bbq fries with blue cheese on top... woah momma. Let me tell you these are amazing. Service is beyond perfect. Comes over periodically to check on the table just enough to be satisfied. Will continue to come back !

Nothing fancy. Pub grub. No frills. Food was well cooked. Beers were cold and cheap. Bartender was also our server and he was attentive and helpful. For a neighborhood pub, as an out of town visitor I felt welcome.

Pretty much Ithaca's only real 'Sports Bar'. Big TV's in every direction tuned into a game or ESPN type channel. Bar stools, booths and tables with room for groups. They also have two pool tables if you're looking for an activity. Excellent wings and boneless wings, several good flavors including 'Uncle Joes Hot' that is a like a hot barbeque sauce as well as traditional 'Red's hot'. "Vlad" sauce is my favorite as it's hot and a little sweet at the same time - kind like the best 'Asian style generals chicken' ever. Also great is their 'Sport' sauce (ask to mix it with hot) Years ago had the best burgers you could find, three years or so ago, they changed to just very good, still probably the best in Ithaca. Good drink prices ($4 22oz domestics on Sat/Sun) and nice selections with local crafts (lacking in rum options though). Also, every bartender I've interacted with is friendly and helpful. When I've sat at a booth, the waitresses are also great. Not really a college place; the crowds are friendly locals watching ESPN and playing the 'cloud' jukebox. Place can be CRAZY on Sundays during the football season - lots of TV's playing all the games - most are Bills fans, but Ithaca's diversity has groups cheering for every team and that makes a pretty cool environment.

Awesome place to have fun with friends and family, even if you go alone, youll find bunch of good people to make friends. Great food, I had Chicken Sub, was perfectly made with bunch of fries. Definitely recommended.

Some of my favorite wings in the Ithaca area and you HAVE to try their sweet and spicy Vlad sauce! Food is delicious with good size portions for the cost. And they have a parking lot which is so nice for being downtown

Food was really good, had a mushroom burger & fries burger was cooked perfectly also had an order of wings ,garlic Parm also very good. Taren our server was awesome the amazing thing is she has only been a server since September I would have guessed she has been doing it for a very long time

Nice sports bar. 3 pool tables make it a hotspot for pool leagues and tournaments. Several large screen televisions showing sporting events. Also, the food is very good.

One of my go to pubs in Ithaca for hanging out with friends. Decent drink options to choose from (Argos and watershed, among others, have better choices). 3 pool tables and a large seating area are big plus points.

Tuesday is the day to go. 5$ burger and beer. It's a sports bar. They have very friendly staff. Wait time can be long if you go around 5-7 pm. Burgers are great. I would recommend the mushroom swiss burger.

Amazing food, bar service is phenomenal. I've been here three times for drinks and food. Drinks are always ice cold and the food is perfect to eat as soon as it hits your table. Thank you uncle Joe's for another great experience tonight.

New ownership has this place making food as good as… actually, even better than before. The wings are the ones you’d expect from UJ and then some, plus the best bleu cheese in Ithaca. Burgers cooked to your temperature can’t be beat, and the quick service is great! It’s not a party spot, but a place to catch a game or have a solid dinner and be surrounded by great locals, great beer, and great vibes.

What a great spot. Loved everything about this place. Sports bar friendly, bartender Chris made us feel at home and suggested cocktails we should try. Wings were delicious. Sunday mid day stop turned into a 2-3 hour stay (they also had free pool) Will be back for sure. Didn’t disappoint, hidden gem.

We went this past Sunday to watch football playoffs. Before going I read reviews, looked at pictures. It was everything people said it was - many TVs, great place to watch a game, friendly bartenders (we grabbed 2 seats at the bar to watch the games). Crystal was very nice. Ordered wings with the house Vlad sauce, tater tots and chicken fingers. Will definitely be back to watch sports.

Good comfort food and big, cheap, cold beers. Generally a fun atmosphere with plenty of TVs for sports. The service can be hit or miss, frequently downright awful when the place is busy.

Popular sports bar. We went on a Sunday night. The place was packed but we received prompt service from a friendly waitress. Menu mostly bar fare- wings, burgers etc. We got burgers which were good.

It is a huge place. So crowded but it’s fun. Be aware that they tend to make medium-raw meets for their burgers.

This place seems like a slice of pure Americana to me. The best burger and beer in Ithaca IMO. 4 stars because they are heavy with IPAs and lack a broader range of brews.

Looks more like a bomb shelter than a bar with the brick exterior and limited windows... however wings were solid (recommend house made Vlad sauce), plenty of craft beers on taps, lots of TV s and plenty of space...

Uncle Joe's is definitely a locals bar that caters to those locals. Though, this for well behaved individuals of the college crowd this can be a fun place to watch sports. I really enjoy the $5 burger night on Tuesdays. Definitely one of the best burgers in town.

Good local bar with food, French fries are especially yummy, also has a veggie burger. Service is usually great, sometimes gruff. Could get crowded during popular games like any good bar.

I have only limited experience; once I eat here, I will return and review food. Beer was cold and reasonably priced; bartender was friendly. Music was awful; it didn’t seem to match any of the patrons- way too teeny-bopperish.

I came here on a business trip and the people and staff are so nice. I liked they had Canadian beer on tap but they can use an arcade machine besides the dart board. I wanna go as soon as the leaves fall again.

Not a bad bar for the area. It has the atmosphere of a small town sports bar. The quality/quantity of the food does not match the price IMO but it isn’t that bad for Ithaca. They do not provide wifi. There are also decent number of tv and the place was pretty clean for a bar.

We went here to watch football on a Sunday afternoon and loved it. Good beer selection. I had chicken bites with sports sauce- good and the ranch dip was excellent. My partner loved his wings. The vibe was very fun, everyone really focused on the games. Great waitstaff.

WOW. The environment of this place on Sundays is phenominal. They've got every game going on multiple screens, every football fan you can imagine in the bar and the locals are extremely friendly. The blue cheese burger that I had was absolutely delicious, and my girl very much enjoyed her veggie burger "8/10". However, the service was iffy because the waitress was clearly stoned or on something... but hey, It's Ithaca. Cheers.

Good place to find a money pool game. The bar selection is all either ipa or basic bottom shelf no middle ground

Looks a little run down, decent food but the prices seem a little high. Usually only go on Tuesday for the $5 burger night.

The service was disappointing. The server had messed up my order and then told me the cool would not send out the proper replacement order with fries because it was too late in the night. The kitchen still had about 10 minutes before it closed. I understand closing down there kitchen in a timely manner is clutch for a cook, but the screw up in the order I had put on 20 minutes earlier was not my fault.

Burger specials night. Burger was ok cooked as requested. Not sure why, when you pay an extra dollar, you only get like 6 onion rings. Service was slow ... waitress not new but sure seemed inexperienced. Off night for Joe’s I think

Great TV viewing for sports. Shows B1G games, a rarity for Ithaca. Good burgers and wings. The regular French fries are simply bad and the curly have a little more flavor, but overall clearly frozen, processed fries. Good beer selection and very friendly, helpful staff. The regulars are older and kind of crazy, just short of making it uncomfortable.

Not my jam, pretty loud, most likely because the space is all open. Used the ladies room and when you turned on the sink it did one quick blast of water, groaned and turned off. When someone else flushed a toilet it ran again. I did not try the food, so I can't comment on that.

Go to uncles Joe's 3-4 times a week and at least drink or eat one of those or both Ordered mushrooms several times and today ordered with drinks and the amount of mushrooms were ridiculous. Less than half of usual and one third of what I have seen served. Told waitress and nothing. Love the people working but tonight disappointed

The first time I went, the older man bartender seemed very impatient. He was also working the second time I went in. I asked him for the WiFi password, he gave it to me and seemed much friendlier this time. But when it didn't work when it told me I was connected, he basically gave me a cold shoulder. Pulled pork was nothing to write home about.

Ordered a burger. Medium rare. LTO and bacon. My friend ordered the same but with cheese and rare. Both came without the onion. My burger tasted like it came out of the package and went directly on a griddle with no seasoning, very flavorless. It also had no pink left in it. Let the waitress know very kindly we did not receive our onions. She came back out with a bowl of oversized 🌙 cut, dry, red onion, and said the cook was dramatic. She was very nice, problems definitely in the kitchen. My partner ordered wings. Large, baked, very fatty, skin wasn't crispy, sauce was forgettable. Seems more like a billiard dive. Menu is not worth ordering from even with the lower pricing. There are much better spots to get a burger and a pint for cheap. The eating area is surrounded by TVs in which I think maybe 2 weren't on the same ball game. It kind of defeats the purpose of a sports bar.

Very good food, place nice, but just getting there play pool and one guy yelling to me with no nice. Very offensive and the first thing the bartender say was (guys I need the kick out the bar) I'm so surprised the guy offend me and the bartender kick me out for no reason sorry loosing customers! I'm sorry but I'll never go back.

the short waitress with short brown hair and glasses is more attentive to the pool players than anyone else l. I was waiting for over 10 minutes to pay and leave because she was more focused on talking to those playing pool than making sure anyone needed anything. i needed a drink it took 5 minutes even with her at the bar to notice us. not to mention she was on her phone regularly. I have never had this issue prior. the service is always good and the food is amazing. I was very disappointed with this server. the other servers i have interacted with have not only have been attentive in making sure everyone is cared for they built relationships. i am very disappointed with my experience tonight.

Waited for 20 minutes for them to take our order but they kept stalling us so we walked out. They even took the order of the people who came after us so I guess they choose who they like to serve here so just keep that in mind if you plan on going here.

I thought I noticed a tinge of sourness in my burger but against my better judgement I added some salt and ate most of it. 30-45minutes after leaving we were rushing to a public restroom because I was about to get sick from both ends. Would not recommend. Also, we felt like we were getting bit by mites or something at our booth. Would not visit again. Otherwise a great place if you don't mind the above.
