Giorgio Lombardi

A delightful trattoria where you can enjoy delicious traditional Piedmontese dishes. Generous appetizers and delicious first courses. The atmosphere is decidedly rustic, the service is courteous, and the staff is friendly and efficient. We had lunch for three: tongue and anchovies in green sauce, a Piedmontese appetizer, tomini cheese and mortadella. Agnolotti and tagliatelle with meat sauce. Everything was delicious, home-cooked food. Prices are average.

A good trattoria in Ivrea located on the road leading to the castle. Try the agnolotti with butter and sage and the tomini with salsa verde. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The menu offers a simple selection of typical Piedmontese dishes.

A simple lunch served by friendly, relaxed staff. A caprese salad and a plate of ravioli, accompanied by sparkling water, cost €17. Reasonably priced for a relaxed, healthy lunch.

Mixed cured meats appetizer: a half-raw salami that we sent back; we expected more from a dish like this; we appreciated that they didn't question our reaction; the first courses were good; the service and cleanliness aren't the strong points.

I'd say the name reflects the type of place well: a piola. The staff is helpful and friendly, the service is quite quick, and the food is like what you'd eat at home.

The place is old and shabby inside. There is no paper menu for choosing dishes, but a small anonymous poster with little written on it. The service is still friendly. The dishes are sparse and the raw materials are not of quality. The prices do not reflect the gem.

The food was average, as is typical for a true Piedmontese, which I'm saying is nothing special, but still good. The service was good. It's a shame that when I went to pay, I noticed the place was extremely dirty. Since no one was eating inside, a little more care in keeping the place, the chandeliers, and everything a little cleaner would be nicer.

I was expecting to be better, the food was made in microwave and wasn't fresh, the wine is ok but the customer service is pretty bad, short menu and I think that I was scammed because for a lunch for two people they charged me more than 50 euros.

After reading the reviews, I dived into this old-fashioned trattoria. It's a shame it was colder in there than out. Anchovies in green sauce, soaked in oil, and butter and sage ravioli that certainly didn't capture the flavor of the butter or the sage. What a shame.
