The steaks were delicious and cooked well, the food came fast and our server was very nice. We had been to other restaurants before here that had long wait times for tables, this restaurant was slightly away from them and we were seated straight away and the menu here seemed better.
I dont give 5 stars often but this place deserved it! The food was excellent. We had the bison ravioli and it was delicious. Drinks were excellent too
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Great service, delicious food, and wonderful atmosphere honoring one of my favorite presidents. As a history buff, this place was already exciting to go to, but we enjoyed our food so much, we made an additional reservation for 2 days later, while sitting in the dining room! You can tell the owners really put their heart and soul into this place. Stop searching, you have found your restaurant! Day 1: we ordered the Sagamore Hill Roast Chicken & Goat Cheese Salad with a side of the Truffle fries. SO DELICOUS, one of the best salads you can get! and I will have dreams about those fries. Drinks: Theodore's Old Fashioned and Rocky Mountain Margarita, both Delicious! Finished with the Stars and Stripes Bread Pudding and the Nobel Prize Peanut Butter Pie. Day 2: we started with the Hot Springs Jalapeno Popper Dip and ordered the Speak Softly and Carry a Big Steak with another Old Fashioned and the Angler's Fish and Chips with The Yellowstone Campfire for dinner. Also Delicious. Some of the best fish and chips we've ever had and the steak was cooked perfectly! I wish I lived in the area, because this would be my new go-to place!
Nothing short of extraordinary! I had two standout dishes: the steak salad and the jalapeño popper dip...a harmonious symphony of flavors. Topped it off with Teton Ice Cream Pie...pure artistry. Just what I was looking for after a day on the slopes!
Pasta dish was very creamy and tasty - perfect for me as I was feeling something rich that day. Service is attentive and quick. Lots of space during lunch.
First time traveling to Jackson Hole and stopped into Roosevelt’s on a snowy Halloween! The staff was incredible, including Aaron! The food was delicious, and the fries were perfect! Definitely a must-stop for all locals and anyone traveling through!
Roosevelt’s in Jackson, Wyoming, is a well-regarded restaurant known for its rustic charm and upscale American fare. Located in the picturesque setting of the town, it captures the essence of the rugged outdoors while offering a sophisticated dining experience. The menu typically focuses on local, seasonal ingredients, featuring dishes such as wild game, fresh fish, and regionally sourced meats. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with decor that reflects the area's Western heritage. Diners have often praised the attentive service and the knowledgeable staff who can recommend excellent wine pairings or local beer options.
DAMN!!!! Came on their sixth (?) day being open and WOW. Service was awesome and the little aprons are so cute. The decor and general vibe match the Jackson atmosphere. The food was great!!!!! Probably the best smashburger I’ve ever had. Dad said the old fashioned was pretty good too. Loved it!!!!!
Great spot. Food was great service was on point. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. And the fries!!
The wife and I really enjoyed the food. The food was great. I would recommend the smash burger or the buffalo chicken sandwich
I had an excellent smash burger per my server's recommendation, and it was delicious. I also upgraded the fries to truffle fries, but felt that the taste didn't really justify the price increase, so I'd recommend sticking to the normal fries.
The food was outstanding, service was great and polite, and the facility itself is very nice. We have one last day in Jackson Hole before flying home but we’re seriously considering coming back tomorrow for dinner.
Roosevelt's is a cute little restaurant. The vibes are immaculate and western. The food is delicious😋 we ate some soup, chicken salad sandwitches, and burgers. Food was delicious and cooked to greatness.
We had a wonderful meal at Roosevelts this evening despite arriving in a blizzard! The restaurant was very busy, but the service and food was absolutely excellent. The manager Aaron sat an unexpected large party without any disruption in reservation seating and still managed to make the rounds and speak with every table. The prices were very good (especially for Jackson!) and the attention to detail was impressive. We will definitely be back!
We ate lunch here, so we have a limited opinion of their food. We both ordered salads and they were good, but the chicken had a fishy taste. I would assume they used the same pan that they cooked someones fish in. The tomato soup was delicious. Great drinks! I had to do the old fashioned, it was good.
Highly recommend Rosevelt’s for a nicer meal. We loved the salmon and ragu. The meal was very high quality. Also enjoyed the huckleberry lemonade
Pizza is soooooooo great! A pizza could be shared by 2-3 people. The ambience is great. Moreover, staff is super friendly. We had a great time here.
I went in for lunch. Not busy at all. I sat at the bar. The bartender was very nice. Dark hair, dark eyes, name starts with an L. Beautifully made drink, the huckleberry margarita. Food came out fast. I got the tomato soup, it was delicious. The caprese chicken panini is also very good.
Great experience at The Roosevelt! The Truffle Fries were amazing 👏 and the Street Corn appetizer was also a standout. The Southwest Salad with steak was solid, and the Fish & Chips were really good. The McKinley (prime rib) was absolutely delicious—definitely a must-try. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Pretzel Bites were more average, but still enjoyable. The Huckleberry Lemonade was refreshing and really tasty. Service was spot on, attentive without being overbearing. Prices were very reasonable, especially for being in Jackson Hole. Overall, a great spot that’s definitely worth visiting!
The desk crew at our lodging suggested this place. We showed up at 8 with 8 on a Thursday and were seated quickly. Most of us ordered drinks and they were good and came fairly quickly. The hostesses were friendly and the server was attentive and helpful. But .... The salmon I ordered was the highlight for me! It was cooked perfectly and served with some delicious vegetables in a creamy sauce. I totally cleaned my plate and barely remembered to stop long enough to take a pic. It's not cheap, but neither is much near a ski resort. Very good!
I had an amazing time at this place! I was so excited to try it when I visited Jackson a year ago, before I moved to Montana. I couldn’t believe how good it was! The Panama Canal Ravioli was absolutely incredible! I was so hungry that I almost finished the bowl, but I didn’t want to be rude to the people around me. The hostess was super friendly, and the waitress was so charming. It was a truly memorable experience!
This is such an eclectic restaurant. We ate here over a year ago, and decided to have my daughter's wedding "reception" there for a small private party of @ 14 people. Food was amazing both time we visited. The staff was very efficient. They had us all fed in @ 15 min. after ordering, and it all cane out at once. Menu is well rounded, with high end dining or simple favorites, accommodating any budget. Ambiance was sleek and modern with a flair of Teddy's best moments. Love this place and will visit again next time we're in town.
Great food, good service and cozy atmosphere! We got a beef burger and buffalo sandwich, both were very tasty and fresh, Our server was great and attentive, they also had a good variety of draft beers and ciders! I definitely recommend this place!
Upscale feeling with reasonable prices and good food. We went on a Monday and were immediately seated. The atmosphere is a modern spin on Teddy Roosevelt (classy sage and matte black). Overall would highly recommend. Our Cesar salad may have been the best ever- croutons were not super hard and parm chips were perfect. The chicken sandwich and fries were a great portion but the highlight was the mushroom pasta. It is packed full of different mushrooms with a cream based sauce that we wanted to lick from the bowl.
This spot came recommended by some locals—and it certainly didn’t disappoint after our horseback riding adventure. Both the smash burger and the chicken sandwich hit the spot perfectly.
Stopped here on our way to the Tetons. Our server Sloane was so nice and helpful, and the food was really good! Loved the western atmosphere! Everyone at our table was singing along to the music. Little pricey, but what do you expect from Jackson. 🤣
Smash Burger, Panama Canal Ravioli and the Roasted Chicken Goat Cheese salad were top notch - no complaints at our table! We finished then meal off with the Nobel Prize Peanut Butter Pie. Excellent. Bruce L our waiter was awesome!
Abraham was our server and was nothing but wonderful to us. He was prompt, friendly, and obviously cared about our experience. Food was awesome; got the Beef Ragu. Drinks were as expected: refreshing. Will return.
This is a definite must when in Jackson! Simply delicious! We ordered the Spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, the ragu and the carbonara. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was incredible. It was obvious how much thought was put into the comfort and atmosphere. Our waiter was kind and very attentive. We spoke with the manager on our way out. They intentionally make an effort to provide the best possible experience for every guest. Exceptional restaurant, lovely people, we will definitely be back!
Six of us dined for lunch and all agreed their meals were very good. Service was very good, and Robert was very accommodating. The adult beverages were very good too.
Visiting on our family vacation. Very accommodating for our large group. Everyone was very happy with their food choices. We had something from every portion of their menu. Delicious! Beautiful atmosphere! Highly recommend
After our 50-mile bike ride, we made our way to Roosevelt's in Jackson, WY, hoping for a well-deserved dinner. While most places in town cater to tourists, we stumbled upon a true gem! We started with the pretzel bites, and let me tell you, the house mustard was exceptional--far from your average condiment. It's the best we've ever had! You must try it for yourself; it's truly unique. I paired the meal with a Grand Teton Old Faithful Ale, which was just perfect. For the main course, we went with the Snake River Farms NY strip (supporting local!) and the Cowboy Carbonara. Both dishes were fantastic. We even had a great chat with the manager, who mentioned that the restaurant has only been open for four months. If you're in town, definitely give it a try--I hope they continue to thrive!
Fantastic Old Fashion. The rough riders roast chicken and the Brussels sprout salad were great. Our dinner guests had the smash burger and the chicken sandwich and loved them.
My husband and I ordered the spinach & artichoke dip, buffalo chicken sandwich with cowboy caviar, and prime rib sandwich with truffle fries. This was one of the best meals we've had. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and perfectly portioned. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff are kind and professional. 10/10 wish I lived here so I could come again!
Celebrated our engagement at Roosevelt’s last night! Highly recommend! Our waiter, Nick, was amazing and very on top of everything! Our drinks were never empty and he was always close by if we needed anything! The pear and butternut squash ravioli was amazing! Can’t wait to visit again!
We are so glad that we decided to eat here for dinner. All three of our entrees were fabulous, and our waiter, Abraham was so great. He really was the icing on the cake for our evening there. We had a variety-steak, pasta, and a huge salad, and all were delicious.
It is a good thing we do not live here because I would be back at this restaurant every night just to order the Panama Canal Cheese Ravioli. One of the best meals I have ever eaten, and that is no exaggeration. Hats off to the chef!
My partner and I went for dinner. We are both big fans of history so it was fun to go somewhere dedicated to President Teddy Roosevelt and the American west. We split the street corn app and stone fruit salad to start, then had the Bison ravioli and chicken caprese entree for dinner. Everything was very delicious. We particularly enjoyed the stone fruit salad. The sauce with the ravioli was incredible as well. Highly recommend!
We visited for dinner and ate on the balcony. The onion rings were like onion doughnuts and amazing. We each had smash burgers which were also good. Service was very quick.
We stopped in here and had a drink (a really good Old Fashioned) and stayed for dinner at the bar. The food was good, I had the fish and chips. Service was excellent.
Roosevelt’s Restaurant Review We made a reservation through OpenTable and had no issues—everything went smoothly. The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, so I was a bit concerned about potential delays, but our reservation was honored right on time. We started with the wings and onion rings. The wings were flavorful and well-prepared, but the onion rings were under-seasoned, and the dipping sauces didn’t really stand out—they were somewhat unrecognizable in flavor. For entrées, my wife had the cheese ravioli, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I tried it as well and agree—it had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. I ordered the NY strip wagyu steak with truffle fries, and it was excellent. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and both the meat and fries were well-seasoned and full of flavor. My daughter had the roasted chicken, and she loved it—it was gone before I even finished my steak. My son opted for the fish and chips. Similar to the onion rings, the seasoning was lacking, which took away from the overall experience. Despite a couple of misses on seasoning, the service and quality of the main dishes were strong. Overall, I would definitely recommend Roosevelt’s and would return again.
Had the BLT sandwich at Rosevelt’s in Jackson Hole and it totally hit the spot. Super crispy bacon, fresh everything, just really solid all around. Also tried the cowboy caviar, fresh and flavorful, perfect side. Bonus: the view from this place is unreal. Great spot to kick back, eat well, and take it all in.
Service tends to be a bit slow as it took and hour to get in and out of this restaurant. The food and cocktails are amazing and the wait staff tends to be professional. Love the atmosphere and decor.
Waited a bit to long for someone to finally address us at the table. The food was good, hands down best home made tomato soup I have ever had. Everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered.
Pretty disappointed considering the rave reviews. The wait staff gets along very well…so much so that several of them were carrying on within feet our table. Then they didn’t bother to stop when one of them was on the other side of the dining room. The jalapeño popper dip was very good, but the chips were stale. The $15 old fashioned was good, but maybe half of the amount I would expect. The food was barely mediocre.
Roast chicken was tasty but portion was very small. The chicken breast was the size of a wing. Fish and chips - batter was very very thick and tough (see photo). Beef Ragu pasta tasty but portion also small. Huckleberry lemonade was great. Service and atmosphere were excellent.
Made a reservation for dinner here while visiting Jackson. We arrived and didn’t have to wait long to be seated at our table. Our server was quick to greet us and bring our drinks. However, we ended up waiting an hour for our food. The bison ribs were the standout. Everything else was pretty mediocre. I decided to try the bison ravioli and they weren’t very flavorful. Since bison is so lean they could’ve used a richer sauce. We decided to pass on dessert because the food took so long.
Very mediocre experience. There was a bug in one of the drinks we ordered and a piece of hair on one of our wings. However, the smash burger was tasty! Service was good, not fantastic. Overall would not suggest, there are better options in town.
I do not understand how this place has a 4.5...We got the stashburger, bbq chicken sandwich with loaded tots & the prime rib sandwich. Our water had stuff floating in it but after the waiter took the order he never came back. The chicken tasted old & the fries were cold, hard & stale. Service is a zero & the food is a 1 now the business is nice & clean but not a pkace I would venture to again.
So disappointing. Everyone in our party of four was so unimpressed with the staff, the service, and the food. The waiter was borderline rude. The food was not good at all. Waste of time and money. We left mostly full plates on the table and when the server asked if we wanted to-go boxes, we said the food wasn’t worth taking away. He didn’t seem to care. Fish and Chips were soggy and undercooked. Beef Ragu tasted like Hamburger Helper at best. The only thing that was good was the Jalapeño Popper Dip. With so many other outstanding choices in Jackson, we will never go back to Roosevelts.
