The service is incredibly slow. Twice we've been here, and we've found a potato chip in our chilaquiles, which makes us question the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. They brought us a cappuccino where the flavoring was still undissolved in the cup. The food was cold. To top it all off, the music is just a phone connected to Spotify playing ads. So we all hear the notifications it receives.

Nice place, but the service is terrible. The dishes on the menu are incomplete, and when you ask for what's missing, they tell you it'll cost extra—the cheese, the pico de gallo, the meat. They refused to give me orange juice because they said they didn't have any, even though they had plenty at the counter. And to top it all off, they serve everything in a really rude way... It's a shame. I won't be back. I hope they train their servers properly.

The place has deteriorated quite a bit. I was a regular customer, but the menu hasn't changed for a while now. I come here for a coffee and there's no variety in pastries or rolls. It seems funny that since it's a cafe, you can't offer a complement... Personally, the guys on the afternoon shift are more concerned with chatting among themselves and looking at their cell phones than serving customers. The upstairs area is always closed. It's a real shame, it was a very good place in Jilotepec.

Terrible service and food 😐 We came from Mexico City to visit Jilotepec, and I'd heard it was a good place to eat… which, to my surprise, was not the case! Upon entering, we saw tables with dirty dishes, which we couldn't sit at because of it. No one came to offer us a table. After 15 minutes, they finally attended to us, and they were incredibly rude. When the service arrived, I decided to order chicken consommé and a breaded cutlet stuffed with guacamole and potatoes. My partner ordered Aztec soup and a pastor torta. To my surprise, the consommé was saltier than the ocean and tasted like chicken bouillon cubes. The breaded cutlet, besides being dripping with oil, was burnt. The potatoes were refried and tasteless. The only thing that was passable was the orange soda. The bread for the torta hadn't even been cooked on the griddle; they literally assembled the torta as it came out. To top it all off, the service was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. They brought the bill while we were still eating, claiming they were "closing," and as I went downstairs, I saw a couple eating as if nothing was wrong 😣😕😡😡😒. The total bill was $600 pesos! Neither Sanborns nor Madero has ever treated me like this!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!

They take a long time to serve you, and when they do, their attitude is terrible. They're short-staffed, so the waitresses should be focused on serving the tables properly.

I went in the morning, the food was disgusting, they didn't provide cutlery, so I got up to ask for it. They didn't deliver the full plate, and the water didn't arrive. The worst in the city, definitely one of the worst experiences.

I do not recommend it at all, they take a long time to attend, the time I went I found a huge stone in my beans 🫘 which when I bit into it without realizing it, caused a part of my tooth to come loose 🦷 which I let them know and they only apologized but did not support me with anything of my dentist's fees since I had to have resin placed to reconstruct the damaged part, terrible place 😡, if you have the opportunity to go, better not take advantage of it.

Unfortunately, I got a bad impression of "Café Iffel." It's not a coffee place at all; it looks more like a diner or restaurant. It has affordable prices, but its service and attention aren't the most adequate. If you're looking for a coffee with friends, definitely don't go here. Go to the garden cafe.
