Came here with my coworkers for our lunch break. First time trying it, and we were not disappointed. Staff was super friendly and on top of it Jeremiah, the kitchen manager, brought out our food in a timely manner and even helped get us signed up for the reward program!! Will definitely be back.

We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was our 1st time here and our server (Ryan) was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He walked us through the menu without rushing and even gave us recommendations. We started off with a Mediterranean salad, then ordered 2 small pizzas. 1 custom with Pesto base and the other one was "The Don" 🤌🏻 both of them were magnificent! We finished off with the trio dessert and overall all employees were friendly and provided us with excellent service! We are definitely coming back!! 5 stars here 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The pizza tasted great, but the service was poor. I waited almost 35 minutes for the pizza and had to ask more than once for utensils and napkins.Definitely hoping for a better experience next time.

One of the best Italian places in the area. The thin crust pizza is one of the best I ever tried. Their salads and the service is also great. Pizza is prepared in an old fashioned fire oven, which gives the best flavor. The place is nice and quiet to have a great meal.

It’s been to long since we’ve been here.This place holds a special place in our heart. We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge years ago and ate at the very first Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn. Best of all our wedding reception was at Grimaldi’s in the Woodlands. ❤️

Extraordinary Women

This was our first time eating here. Let me first start with how exceptional our waiter Lucus was. This young Man was amazing. He made our Sunday afternoon even better. We told him the type of wine we like & he recommended one. We were deciding between two red wines & He brought us samples of both. We decided to go with the one he recommended. He was very professional & you could tell He likes his job. He took a lil time & conversed with us. We ordered a meat & cheese platter which was really good. We also ordered a sausage & cheese pizza which was also good. We will definitely be going back! With excellent service like this there’s no doubt about it.

Very friendly staff that will welcome you and make you feel comfortable. The place is very clean, including the restrooms. The place smells amazing. Grimaldi's has always been my favorite restaurant for pizza but tonight it was an epic fail! The pizza was soggy and downright horrible! I'm super disappointed

Our first bartender seemed annoyed to serve us wasn’t really attentive, forgot the drinks we ordered but Paul the other bartender was super sweet! he still checked on us and ended up taking care of us, he made our experience better!

We came here as a group and overall it was just okay. The pizza was filling and had good flavor, but it was pretty greasy and the toppings were uneven, so some slices were better than others. Bar Louie used to be a preferred late-night spot for us because of the drink variety and late hours, but the experience is highly dependent on the server. We visited around New Year with a group of 10–12 close to midnight (they’re open until 2 AM). Our server, Colby, significantly disappointed and ultimately ruined the visit. He took a long time to bring menus, and when taking orders he seemed more focused on whether checks would be split or together than the orders themselves—asking the same question multiple times. It felt like he wanted one easy check instead of individual orders. Our table was long, yet he stayed in one spot and shouted across the table instead of walking around. When asked to come closer, he ignored the request and just raised his voice over the music. Before writing this review, I read others from recent months and noticed service issues mentioned repeatedly—at least every second review calls them out. There are simply better-service options in the LaCenterra area. We ordered one round of drinks and left, so the bar missed out on revenue from a large group due to poor service.

Bar is cool but our server was horrible! Don’t even know her name be cause she never told us 👎 but it’s the young girl with the bad curly wig. Maybe find another job if you don’t want to provide customer service!

Very average in every category. Food is pretty mediocre. I would say it tastes like frozen food refried. The mocktails are ok, a tad too bitter and have way too much ice. For the price there's better options nearby

Me and my wife went to bar Louie this weekend in the cinco ranch location. Soon as we get out the car we loved the atmosphere and the dj was GREAT. What made everything terrible was the server. She was a younger black female with a curly wig she never told us her name. The first thing that threw me off was when I asked her how much was a certain drink she responded very rudely WHAT!! I notice the next time she came she only would make eye contact with my wife and wouldn’t even look my way. I asked my wife do you feel something’s off with her my wife responded yes seems like she has attitude. Ok I brushed it off and ordered more drinks (the old fashion was great by the way). Once we finished eating I asked for the ticket. Once again she looked like she was mad I asked for the ticket lol I paid and left her a tip. She grabbed the tap to pay machine out my hand with force and walked fast in the other direction. No thank you no nothing!! Great place and vibe but something must be done about the young female with a attitude..

Unfortunately, our first visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. From the beginning, the service was extremely slow and careless. We waited 30 minutes just to have our order taken, which already set a bad tone. After another 30 minutes, the pizza arrived burnt. There was no apology at all, and after mentioning the issue, we had to wait another 30 minutes for a replacement. On top of that, the drink order was wrong as well. What made the experience even worse was the total lack of courtesy. There was no warm welcome, no effort to provide proper attention, and not even an attempt to offer another drink or suggest additional items. It felt like the customer experience simply did not matter. We were a table of seven people, all visiting for the first time, and it is certain that none of us will return. Very poor service and a truly disappointing experience.

I have visited this location about 4-5 times since moving to Katy. Service is EXTREMELY SLOW. I mean, it’s really bad. Their menu is salads and pizza so that backs up the entire kitchen because it is only pumping out pizzas which take time. If they had actual appetizers (like meatballs, wings), people wouldn’t mind waiting but it is honestly ridiculous. The servers are not great either. They are all nice but they do their jobs poorly. I have a soft spot for industry workers as someone who worked at a restaurant for 10 years. They forget things, they don’t check in on tables or clean up throughout. This is a huge red flag for me. Our last visit, 11/29/25, we were sat at a table that was being taken care of by a bartender. I don’t mind this at all but she clearly could not handle all of this. I asked about happy hour and she said it started at 5 pm and so I double checked because the menu says 3-5 pm… she then corrected herself. Our drinks took forever, our salad never came, pretty sure she didn’t ring it in, and then the calzone we ordered was genuinely terrible (the sauce was even cold). That last part is on the kitchen but it was just bad. Pizzas were good. Drinks were inconsistent. I ordered the same margarita twice and they were completely different even in color. I also didn’t like that I didn’t see an itemized receipt when I went to pay. She just told me a total and I asked if she removed the salad we didn’t get and she had forgotten to (of course). All of this leaves a bad taste in my mouth which sucks because the pizza itself is good. This location needs to re train their entire staff. Please do not leave me one of your generic apologetic messages.

Although our bartender was great, we didn’t get the pizza we paid for. We just left this place with our to-go order. We have gone here FOR YEARS! With some exception, our visits have been good. We were the first and only ppl in immediately after their daily stoking. I, the only customer inside other than my husband, walked up to the pizza-making station and asked the guy if they were open for orders. Nothing. I asked the same question AT LEAST 3x. He NEVER acknowledged my presence nor answered question. Hmmm. Dismissed his rudeness as a heating problem (not the case). Another guy tried to cover for him so we let that slide. After we got home, we discovered that we did not get what we paid for. I called and waited a for a bit to speak with the mgr but had to leave b4 mgr made it to the phone. Please do better.

I wanted to apologize to the staff for coming in to eat. I should have taken the hint they didn't want us there when we sat on the patio for 10 minutes. The bar tender apologized and did seem genuinely sorry we waited so long. She went to go get someone and we sat another 5 minutes. Mind you this was a Friday night, and the place wasn't even packed. I would say it was slow. I saw 3 different servers on the patio come out and help the 5 parties sitting outside. When the waiter took our order, he couldn't even look us in the eye. He was looking around and behind his shoulder. It sucks too because the food was decent, but they clearly don't want customers bothering them at work. I'm sorry for stopping by! Awful customer service at the entrance. The hosts are rude and make people wait outside even when there are plenty of empty tables available. It feels like they simply don’t want customers there, completely ruining the experience before it even starts. The only positive part of the night was our server, Michael. He was truly exceptional — polite, attentive, and the only one who made us feel welcome. Thank God he was there, because he is the only reason the evening wasn’t a total disaster. Sadly, I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic hospitality.

I am **beyond** disappointed and honestly furious with their management and staff. The way they treat families smaller than four is absolutely ridiculous and discriminatory. I arrived at 6:30 p.m. and was told there would be a 30-minute wait. Fine—that’s normal for a Saturday night. But then I noticed no one was sitting outside, so I asked if there was a wait for outdoor seating. They said **no**. I told my husband but still decided to wait for an *indoor* table. Twenty-five minutes later, they tell us our table is ready—only to try to seat us **outside**. Seriously? What is the point of making us wait if there was ZERO wait for outdoor seating? We specifically didn’t want to sit outside because I didn’t want my 1-year-old to get cold. When I asked to sit inside, they had the nerve to tell me we needed to wait another 15 minutes. And while they’re saying this to me, I’m literally looking at **five empty rectangular tables** inside. Their excuse? “Those tables are for parties of five.” I could not believe what I was hearing. We’re a family of three, and they refused to let us sit at ANY of the FIVE empty tables. The logic is unbelievable, and the lack of basic customer care is even worse. --- This was my husband’s favorite restaurant, well not anymore. Unless they apologize to me in this review, I will make it a mission to tell my family and friends not to come to any Grimaldis location because of this policy

Awful service, and long wait times. I honestly regret even tipping the waiter because the service was incredibly bad. We were a party of four and ordered an 18-inch pizza to share, since we weren’t that hungry, along with one drink each. The drinks took 30 minutes to arrive, even though the place wasn’t that full. We were seated at 9:30, ordered 10 minutes after arriving, and by 10:30 we still didn’t have our pizza. At that point, we were hungry and halfway through our drinks. When the pizza finally arrived, it wasn’t even the one we ordered, so we had to wait even longer. They offered us a free dessert, which honestly felt like the bare minimum they could do. Then, when the bill came, we noticed they had added a 16-inch pizza we never ordered. Unsurprisingly, we were the last ones to leave, (mind you, this place closed at 11) and all we had ordered was one pizza and four drinks.

When we arrived the hostess quickly assured us that we could be seated but, they would not be able to take our order for an hour and thirty minutes. And after that, she said it might be another one or two until our order comes out; due to other orders before ours. Whoever is running the place clearly doesn't know what they are doing. I've never been to a restaurant that was so disorganized that it would be hours before I could get my food. I didn't get the chance to try the food because the restaurant is so disorderly.

They don’t seal their pizzas when you order delivery. That’s very unsafe and unsanitary. Going to the trash and I will not order again. Also let me add that if you want to add extra pepperoni when ordering online you can’t. Online doesn’t have an option of extra pepperoni, so I order bacon and then call and get them to change the bacon to extra pepperoni. Sometimes they understand right away and no problem(today) and other times it takes a while to get them to understand the deal.

I don’t know how this place has good reviews. The pizza is paper thin, dry, and very expensive. Not worth the price at all!
