WINGSTOP: Where the Wings Are Hot and the Front Counter Guy Deserves a Raise Let me tell you, I came in for wings and left wanting to invite the front counter guy to Thanksgiving dinner. This man was a national treasure in a Wingstop uniform. Polite? Check. Helpful? Check. Cleaning like he was auditioning for a Mr. Clean reboot? CHECK. While I was waiting for my order (which was delicious and had the perfect amount of “I’m making bad life choices” seasoning), he was wiping down every surface like germs owed him money. I dropped a napkin and I swear it was off the floor and in the trash before I could blink. I think he might actually be a Jedi. He greeted people with a smile like they were long-lost family. Honestly, if this guy ran for president, I’d vote for him based on customer service alone. Anyway, the wings slapped, the fries were crispy clouds of joy, and if that front counter guy ever quits, this location will descend into chaos and despair. Protect him at all costs. 10/10. Would eat again.
Had a great experience here. No major complaints. The issues are minor. More of a typical thing with most of Wingstop. Pros: It’s on the feeder. Wait time was about 10 min. Environment is great. Staff was friendly. Restrooms are clean. Wings were delicious and warm. I like their Coca Cola Freestyle machine, a lot of variety of flavors to choose from. Cons: Space is small (like any other Wingstop) They add an alright amount of sauce. Really hope they add a bit more. Overall I would recommend this location.
The only reason I gave this location 4/5 is because they did not answer the phone when I called to make my order to go, I had to call a few times and wait a few minutes before someone answered. But it happens, the customer service was nice. The wings and fries were very good, the ranch was good aswell. My order was correct and I would recommend this location.
I love wingstop but lately just like everywhere else the just hiring anybody restaurant had ants and huge soda stains sticky floors and just a mess. Second only one employee knew English I had got 2 other employees and they gave me deer in the headlight look until I spoke Spanish but please while you here learn English not throwing shade but someone non-Spanish speaking will get frustrated. Next in my pics I posted the new promo for 2024 hotbox it was ok but not what I wanted compared to last years hotbox, which was amazing I posted a pic of that promo please bring it back this one not hitting. Just be aware in case you wanting last years hotbox like me
service was good. but if it's crowded, you can see bags on tables after customer leave and no one would take care of it for 15-30 min. i stayed there about 45 min as i tend to eat slowly my 8 pieces combo. had some dry rubs and from what i read in some other comments, it happened to me too: got only a little seasoning on the chicken, which means it was already dry when tossed, which means they were not made to order. it took less than the 14 minutes they announced me, now it makes sense. it was still good, to be fair
Ordered wings tonight from the Wingstop at Katy Mills location and order was delivered cold and was short 20 lemon pepper wings and a wrong fry order and size. This is the 3rd time this location has shorted our orders. Unacceptable. When we tried to call them and let them know know one would answer the phone.
called at 9:30 PM AND ITS STILL NOT READY WHAT THE HECK I was not notified my order was going to take this long.
Garbage! Down hill. Wings have zero flavor. Just like every other fast food place. Zero pride in thier food. Took over an hour on a monday.
Waiting 50 minutes for just one 8pcs boneless combo is ridiculous. This place is terrible—completely unacceptable service. Definitely not coming back.
We made an order for Super Bowl. I understand that’s a very busy day for wing places. But more than hour wait for orders is bad. I’m making this review because it seems like this store doesn’t honor order times. I have made orders here and I don’t ever get my orders on time. You can’t have a 15+ minute delay on regular weekday orders. Something has to change!
Will never be back to this location again!!! We order original hot sandwiches and they put so much sauce that all my buns were so soaked and soggy by the time we got home. We called and spoke to the manager Carlos and he said he couldn't help us unless we took the food back to him. We live 30 minutes to an hour away and couldn't take it back and waste gas to go back and get it replaced. He couldn't even offer us a replacement for another day since we live so far away. We asked for his GMa name and he said that they are not corporate, so he couldn't give us the owners name either to call and speak to them about our order and situation of living further away. They are crap and we will never be back!!!
I have to give them 1 star. They never have the wait times correctly. When order is placed online, and you show up at the posted time, they always say they are either short staffed or back up with orders. You still have to wait an additional 25-60 mins every time. This is the last time I order from this place. Stay away.
The guy server took my order and have me wait 30 minutes and then shorted me on two wings and told me to wait another 10 minutes for two wings! Extremely bad service. The wings are very salty and couldn't eat at all. Reply: your respond back to me below is pathetic and gave no contact or how you go about solving issue.
This wingstop is a joke. They have you waiting for almost an hour. People who would come in after would get their order quicker. Tht ticket was sitting there for the longest and the whole time I’m watching them work on other orders. This was very displeasing and disappointing.
Came into the store on wed dec 10th around 11pm and staff were rude and unsanitary. Besides making me wait an additional 30 mins, the guy at the front changed the trash and continued to touch food and orders with the same gloves!! After I called him out he went to his coworkers to tell them what happened and they high fived him his bare hand with their gloves and kept cooking food without changing them. And then he spent the rest of the time being rude to me in retaliation. Won't be back until they clean shop.
This place need to be closed very disrespectful worker.I order a meal package wing under cooked had to put them in air fryer to finish cooking my buffalo flavored fries were drenched in sauce like they put the whole bottle in there.Called when my wife brought my food.They guys said there was no manager there but that he would redo the order or refund me,but he would tell the next guy so he would know about it.Called around 5 cause I was gonna send my son after work cause I was going out of town I could come back.Then the other guy that answer said he couldn't do anything cause there policy was that we had to bring back the food.im out of town so I told him I could send pictures of the food.He said cant do nothing.Really need better training and need to have some management there cause both times I. Called they said there was no manager.Then the guy said to give him my number so they could keep it there for future problems.Check your food before you leave or better yet dont buy there trust me bad place.
Carlo, what a terrible way to run a business. First we walked in and asked about the online deal and you weren’t very welcoming. I just ordered online. No friendliness nor customer skills at all. While we were there, there was a customer there before us who orders his food and had been waiting about 15 minutes. He was wanting some seasoning that he ordered with his food and it was not in his bag. Then when you went to get the seasoning you gave him a dash small container of it and wanted to charge him more when he asked you to fill it. So he took his money out and waited for you to bring it back to the table after the mistake you made. You then proceeded to rudely ask him to come to the register to pay or come get his refund. He came up there and got his 17.00 refund after your terrible customer service. Then you go to the back and talk about that man with the rest of the employees saying you’re not his slave and he’s treating you like a slave. You have some serious entitlement and terrible attitude. Sir you are a store manager, and act this way? It’s crazy that you would rather loose a sale and give the customer a refund instead of giving that man some seasoning , which I’m sure are Pennies on the dollar you’re making. Oh I also recorded you saying these things incase corporate or the owner wants to inquire about this issue. I’m not sure if retraining would make a difference, you have no people skills and clearly no management skills. I can see why the customers reviews are the way they are. If I was the owner I would seriously be re thinking about the position you’re holding in this establishment.
I feel that the big problem of this owners of this store, not even the store manager, nor its employees, but the people who own and run this business. You can see in the face and attitude of your employees that they HATE their job, they are not happy working there, I am very sorry for them, I worked in customer service and I completely understand them. This store is a mess, the floor was completely wet while the workers walked on it, the person who attends at exactly this time (10:48pm) should not work here, his attitude is disgusting and seems to hate customer service, bro, this is not your job get out of here. It's my first time in this store and I had a HORRIBLE experience.
Whoever runs this place shouldn’t even be allowed to run their bath water. I waited over 35 minutes just for everything to be cold besides the fries. In addition to having thick white chucks in my ranch. None of the workers had on gloves and one worker had long hair hanging in his face with no hair net while working in the kitchen. I just couldn’t believe my eyes.
Just a heads up to anyone ordering from Wingstop 🚨 I had one of the worst food and customer service experiences recently. I ordered a chicken sandwich, wings, and fries — and ALL of it was completely smothered in salt and seasoning to the point where it was inedible. I had to throw the entire order away. I called the store to report it and spoke with someone named Carlos, who claimed to be the manager. Not only was he rude and dismissive, but he also told me I had to drive 30 minutes back to the store just to get help. After all that, he only offered 20% off — with a bad attitude on top of it. This was a complete failure in both food quality and customer service. I have photos of the food and will be sharing them so people can see exactly what I was served. I have eaten at a lot of Wingstop locations and the food is usually consistent. This is the worst one by far. Fries were cold, rubbery and had very little seasoning (Even though I asked for extra). They were also thicker than they normally are, but that may be a corporate change, I don't know. The original hot wings had so little sauce on them, you could barely tell what flavor they were. The cajun wings were good and consistent with other locations. Luckily I'm just passing through and won't have to eat at this one again to get my Wingstop fix.
Called to informed them the ranch given to me had white chunks. All 4 containers were like this. After informing them it was a DoorDash delivery and if there was something that could be done the staff member stated I had to drive up there. It was a door dash delivery for a reason, at least some type of compensation. Because it was a total let down for the whole family. When asked to speak to a manager the staff member put me on hold and again repeated that I had to come up there. I decided not to keep arguing but to get the name of the manager shift lead and his name as well. The gentlemen decided to hang up on me instead. This is the only Wingstop I have had non stop issues with.
I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN ! They stole my money ! I ordered food from here on 9/2/24. I waited an hour after my order was supposed to be ready to receive my food . Only to receive it with not a single drop of sauce . They literally LITERALLY served me NAKED COLD WINGS. Thank god I checked my food before I left and went home ! I IMMEDIATELY took my food back inside and requested a refund ! The shift lead on duty MOISES ALVEREZ stated he could not give me a refund because only the store manager has authorization to do so. Then he proceeded to take a picture of my in store receipt (which he refused to give me a copy of) and sent it to the store manager for my refund . Needless to say my refund was not entered and the payment was cleared from my bank ! I tried calling his location several times and the phone just rings and no one picks up ! This location is terrible and THIEVES! IF I DONT RECEIVE MY REFUND I WILL BE SUEING THIS LOCATION! They took my money and I didn’t receive my food !
