It smelled especially delicious inside tonight (like bacon), the staff is friendly and entertaining (note the one cashier who playfully ribs customers) and the selection is consistently wonderful (bunches of aromatic fresh cilantro are one of my staples).

I always love going to Kennedy Food Garden. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent and it's in a very convenient spot for me to have lunch there and get back to work with time to spare. If anyone goes there I highly reccomend the Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad. It's so good! I usually have them make a wrap for me with it. Trust me, it's worth trying.

Huge portions for the money great friendly staff. Another busy place for lunch if you get there alittle early you can get a table although you may upset the regulars from the apartment building upstairs. Don't park right out front unless you like donating to the PPA.

Chicken parm sandwich, chicken avocado sandwich, & chicken avocado salad are all giant and amazing. Rotisserie chicken and sides are delicious too but only ready closer to noon, not really before 11:45AM generally. Great value, lot of grade A food for the $.

Kennedy House deli is located at the ground floor of the Kennedy House apartments. Friendly staff! Good sandwiches! Everything is always fresh! It’s also a market. They make breakfast sandwiches too. I had an Egg bagel toasted with Lox and Cream cheese! Delicious! Stopped back later and ordered an Italian Hoagie for later. I love their hoagies! There’s seating available if you want to sit and eat.

Just moved into Kennedy House. Went to the Garden for something to eat. Good food at good prices. The salads are huge, enough for 2 meals. Also good breakfast sandwiches. Great place for a casual meal.

My hope is to believe that Delis will do you right. With a good rotation of customers everything will always be great. Right? Well not totally. Corn Beef Special is my go to. But the bread was just a little tough. I know rye bread can be hard but I normally have one where the rye is a little softer. Ate the sandwich without the bread and I was pleased. Store is great as you can so many other small items. You can eat in or take out.

Sandwich are good but the price on the website has nothing to do with the price once you’re at the place. Every items has 1/2$ difference. Already told them multiple time but they said « We are not the one doing the website » LMAO, scammers.

So slow! Also: dirty, and no ventilation. Note, there's no actual outdoor garden. This place had good reviews but I was disappointed. It was subpar. I was excited to go on a beautiful day in Philly, thinking I'd got a sandwich and eat outside. Note - there's no actual garden. Positive - seems reasonably priced for the area. The staff was nice and were hustling but the system was just poorly set up so it still ended up having lots of delays. Negative - everything else. I'll highlight 3 issues - 1) They're hustling but so inefficient - long lines for ordering, long waits for a basic sandwich to arrive, and then a long line to pay. 2) The place is in serious need of ventilation. It was stuffy. 3) It's dirty, which concerns me. It's certainly possible they have high standards for their kitchen and it's all sanitary, but the place was dirty, and that made eating there a lot less tolerable. It might be unfair that I had expectations of it being more than what it was. Lower your expectations and maybe it would be fine. The table next to me seem to be a big fan of the sandwiches. They said it's 'worth the wait' for the huge sandwiches. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day

I normally eat there every day and I’ve done take out during this COVID-19 period. I heard my favourite employee that was working there for 13 years at least was laid off because they had COVID-19. They had spent their required time in quarantine only to come out of it ready to work and found out they had no job. all immigrants Need to be treated fairly during this time period. If you’re going to treat an employee like a slave and not be filled with compassioon to the people that make all your money and profit that’s not right. I think this is time to boycott this establishment.
