What a find! Perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, this chicken checked every box: delicate crisp batter consistently cooked through and flavorful, juicy meat. Service was helpful and welcoming. The price was so low I thought it was a mistake! This goes on the list of must-haves when visiting Bard!

I must admit that I have a problem- an addiction actually. I just can't get enough of Kennedy's Fried Chicken. It's a combination of the perfect batter and cooking, leaving a perfect texture and juiciness that is unlike any other fried chicken that I've had in the past. Compare it to a chain restaurant like KFC or Popeye's- no comparison. If you order it, make sure you enjoy a piece on the way home as that's the climax of the taste- fresh from the fryer. We usually get a larger order and eat leftovers for the next few days. It remains crispy and doesn't get soggy like you would expect. The staff is awesome and very friendly. I have a lot of respect for this hard working family who consistently delivers quality food. Whenever I order food, they always seem very thankful for my business. I am the one who is thankful for such a great place to eat and for the opportunity to support a great local restaurant that supports my fried chicken addiction. Don't hesitate about trying the food here- you won't regret it.

Fried chicken and other fries goods offered at this venue are just as tasty as they sound. Ambiance is not great though most people do take out anyway.

The food is VERY well priced, very tasty, and very filling. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because nothing from each dish I had was really very special, but they were very good dishes.

Was really happy to find a halal restaurant in this town. The service was fine. We ordered the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and box of mixed fried chicken with some sides. My sandwich was ok, wasn't spicy like I asked for but the flavors were fine. The Chicken was a disappointment. Over half the pieces were completely overcooked and dry inside. The sides were ok. Would've returned the Chicken but we were just passing through.

Absolutely awful experience. This place is a joke. They gave me the wrong food, then acted like it was somehow my fault. When I tried to get it fixed, the staff were unbelievably rude and dismissive — zero accountability, zero customer service. Communication was terrible from start to finish, and they clearly don’t care about their customers. I walked out angry, still hungry, and completely done with this place. There are plenty of other delis around — literally any of them will treat you better than this one.

Such a shame. I've been to this place for over 15 years. The business has changed ownership and the new owners/workers just don't care. Bad attitude, bad customer service, and overall an I don't give a hoot attitude. Sucks. Used to be such a good spot with great food and great service. Hopefully the owner can see this and get it back on the right track.

Honestly this place has gotten worse and worse. The chicken is always over cooked. Forget about getting their tenders. You may as well ask for the breading deep fried and left under a heat lamp. The worse part is their customer service skills suck. Take the criticism and learn from it. Don't be lazy and leave unedible food out for people to consume.
