I certainly didn’t expect to find authentic Mexican food in Kingston, NY. Met the chef who BTW is the owner and immediately understood why the food is so good and authentic. I felt like I was at the family dining table and the mother came out from the kitchen to make sure we were satisfied. What an amazing meal.

This is the best Mexican place in Kingston. There is a lot of authentic Oaxacan fare. They could do a little better with presentation of a few things, it's real home style Oaxacan food without much flair. The Pozole is a standout, probably the best in duchess or Ulster county. They also make one of the best chile rellenos I've had. The horchata is not too sweet, and the guacamole is solid and fresh , but not stand out. The tortillas are homemade and really special. The tortilla chips are also really good. They also have a sufficient tequila and Mescal selection. The owner and staff are extremely sincere and courteous. We're lucky to have authentic Mexican food like this.

Delicious pollo mole. Best mole sauce I have ever had. Delicious hibiscus water! Many gluten free options! Will be back! Highly recommend!

There is something deeply gorgeous about everything this restaurant makes. Flavors are fresh, healthy, and brightly complex. They make you feel both invigorated and hugged from the inside by people who pour all of their love into their food. And that murky red chili sauce they give you on the side for tostadas. Oh mi madre that stuff is made for Jesus. It’s unlike any of its kind I’ve ever had. So complex and savory and bright and herbal and also deep and…you could put it on ice cream or your dog and it would still be great. I am so happy. I've found my go to restaurant in Kingston.

I had zero idea this restaurant existed, let alone that it was a chain. All I can say is, the staff is super friendly, the food is cooked in generous portions and it reminds me of the sort of thing my grandma used to make. The only drawback is that service can be slow, but honestly, if you've ever lived in or near Mexico, that's just the lifestyle. If you want Mexican food that tastes authentic without paying an arm and a leg, this is your spot!

Came here on a whim for a quick bite and left pretty satisfied. Ordered 2 chicken tacos and 2 shrimp tacos. The tacos paired with the tomatillo and red chilli sauce tasted really good and full of flavor. Prices were decent as well.

Steak salad was ok. Steak a bit tough but still fine. Also had some chicken fajitas. They were also ok, the rice was very tasty! Overall good and fresh, a bit pricey.

There's a 20% included for tips, I don't earn enough to be honest and she barely had to do anything for us. If you're a student and are struggling like me then I don't recommend. Disappointing. Margaritas are weak, for the price. Tacos were disappointing. Most expensive tab at a Mexican restaurant for very little food. Service was inattentive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Have had better service, margaritas and food at a chain restaurant —— so disappointing. 😢👎
