Loved the Vegan options! Everything was amazing for vegan fast food. The only issue I would say was to swap out the impossible burger for beyond burgers since vegans don't generally like the impossible burger because it was tested on animals. Otherwise, this place is Amazing!
Too excited to try that we forgot to take photos! We ordered the cheese burgers with regular and hot fries, plus a brownie milkshake! Everything was delicious. The burgers itself super flavorful and on point! Not a vegetarian or vegan but would definitely stop by every time we visit upstate!
Great little stop for burgers off the side of the road
The owner/employees made it a good experience. First time going here I ordered the cheeseburger. It's the first time I've had an impossible burger that was ground instead of preformed like a patty really adds nice texture. The sauce they put on there is really good but can be overwhelming. I did not really taste the cheese at all because it was hidden by the sauce taste I think I would order extra next time. The spicy fries were very good reminds me of another local burger place. They also have a drive-thru which is awesome for a mom and pop place.
We waited over a half hour to order, but it was worth it! You would never know the burgers were not meat, they taste and look exactly like meat. They put fried onion on them- so good! The shake is good too, not my personal taste, but people who like brownie batter type shakes will enjoy it. We'll definitely go back, probably once the hype dies down. A great addition to this side of town. It is a fair bit pricey, but I think that's because non meat patties are more expensive.
So good! I got a classic burger, hot fries, and cheese sauce, and everything was AMAZING! The cheese sauce, incredible...I'm still thinking about it. The hot fries, just hot enough to have a kick, but not so spicy that you can't eat the whole order (I did). The burger is great - plant-based but not obviously so, and the toppings add a little something special - I especially appreciated the generous number of pickles. Plus the employees at the window were super friendly - drove away still feeling the good vibes. A great spot, and worth waiting a few extra minutes when there's a line for fresh, quality, tasty food.
Such a delicious experience! Went on a Saturday afternoon, and the wait was not long at all. As a vegetarian, I thought the classic cheeseburger was out of this world (pun intended), but my meat-eating friend also loved it. Be sure to get the "double onions" topping, both grilled and fried, and the special sauce. Both classic and hot fries - especially with the cheese sauce - were fantastic! Will definitely be back next time I am in Kingston!
For me, this was a really good burger, if I could order the double cheeseburger anywhere I would. Great ingredients on the burger. Service was great they helped the drive-through moving. Its only a drive through so that's the atmosphere.
Stopped for lunch on the road while passing through Kingston. Didn't tell my partner that the burger was meatless until after she finished it and she honestly couldn't tell. The Strawberry Shortcake Shake may have been the best milkshake we've ever had. The cheese sauce for the french fries was insanely good.
I’m not a burger person, but wanted to support a local business so we tried it. So glad we did! The cheeseburger here was great! The quality was excellent - Fresh lettuce, well seasoned patties and soft buns. The spicy fries were awesome too. Definitely coming back and recommending it to other.
Moonburger is awesome. Amazing signature burger (somewhat like In n Out animal style but with a unique twist). Hot fries were delicious and taste like Andy's a bit. Cheese sauce for dipping, yum. Brownie batter shake 💀 ... Highly recommend even if you need to wait as it's super busy opening week. It's great. Go here.
I ordered delivery and it was WORTH IT! Had the MB Classic double cheeseburger and fries with the cheese sauce... it was PHENOMENAL! Taste hit every button and über satisfying, I have RARELY tasted a burger THIS INCREDIBLE! The fries were thin and crispy, even delivered, and the Cooper cheese sauce was a treat. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, GET YOUR BURGERS HERE!
Freaking outstanding. At first I was bummed at the size of the burger, but between half a shake, small fries and the burger, it was more than enough food. I was very satisfied. The burger was delicious, loved the seared flavor of the burger. Hot fries delicious esp with the addictive cheese sauce, shake (we got the strawberry) was out of this world delicious and tasted just like dairy even tho it wasn't! I can't wait to come back.
It's hard to find a fast food place that has gluten free and dairy free cheeseburgers. It's also very delicious. There isn't a lot of space in the drive thru or parking lot. The staff that work there do a great job and are always friendly. I love their oat milk based milk shakes but they should be gluten free too! Seriously amazing fast food and I highly recommend it. I go every time I visit Kingston
I love this place! 10/10. Highly recommend. The burgers are delicious, well-seasoned and a decent size. I enjoyed the fries as well, they were freshly made and crispy. I did not realize the burgers were plant-based until my 3rd or 4th visit, that's how good they are. OH! I almost forgot about the maple cinnamon bun milkshake. Imagine a cinnamon bun in liquid form. Yeah. If you haven't been yet, put this place on your to do list!
Great food. Use the website to order ahead and walk up. Don't need no fossil fuels waiting in your car. The options are great either vegan or meat.
Had a double classic cheeseburger and the pumpkin pie shake. Both were stellar, but the pumpkin pie shake was unbelievably amazingly great. Worth a trip just for one of those bad boys even if it was tiny for the “large”.
This is an extremely good burger, the cheese sauce with the fries is elite, and the staff are so friendly and inviting. I will definitely be returning time and again. This is my new favorite burger
Cheese burger and spicy fries are amazing! We love coming here after a snowboarding run! Employees are always friendly and food is made with care.
Food is awesome. The new beef is spectacular. Pricing is better than shake shack and I think the burgers and fries are better at moonburger. My only complaint is since it's drive thru only, it can get pretty backed up and take a while
I absolutely love these vegan burgers! It is crazy busy on a Friday night but definitely worth the wait. I'm not sure why they had to add a real beef option because I know meat eaters who have had this burger and can't tell the difference!
I have been going to this Moonburger since opening week. The service is always amazing. The location is perfect right off the highway. The food is the true star, however. Every single item on the Moonburger menu is a winner. Even my most die-hard carnivore friends are hooked on these perfect, plant based patties dressed to the nines, the oatmilk shakes are decadent without leaving you feeling bloated like a milkshake, and I always recommend getting a side of cheese sauce with your cajun fries. If you haven’t been to Moonburger yet, what are you waiting for??
Just found our go to place to stop on the way back from a weekend of skiing! Have always stopped in town for gas and wanted to try. Last night did not disappoint! Be true to yourself and go for the double! So good! Very helpful that to speed up the line an attendant will take your order ahead of getting to the window.
Great burgers - even as a meat eater I’m partial to the vegetarian ones, as are most of my friends. Shakes are solid. Hot fries also a highlight. I will say, I am disappointed to see some recent changes: addition of meat seemed unnecessary, the burgers were great as vegan. I’d much rather see new menu items - vegetarian chicken sandwich anyone? Or go crazy with something like veggie Burnt Ends? The other drawback was, I enjoyed that they had Boylan’s soda over Coke products. It fit with their initial concept that really felt like you could only get their offerings there. Those two changes have undermined it.
My first drive thru burger! It was so fun to have the traditional Americana experience but with a veg-friendly and forward menu. Love the crunchy onions and special sauce. Staff was friendly and genuinely looked like they were having fun. Practically-- super easy to swing by from the highway. Have already been back.
Awesome place and super nice owner who was out there in the rain on day one handing out menus and taking orders on the tablet. Efficient system and friendly staff with great burgers to match! Wishing all the best to Moonburger and can't wait to be back - now, please get merch!! Would love to rock a holographic rocket ship crewneck. Thank you to all!
Good things come to those who wait, and that is the case at Moonburger. With any new place, a wait is to be expected, and the food is well worth it! The cheese sauce is incredible, as is the food! Better yet, you don’t feel gross when you’re done eating from all of the meat and grease. 10/10 we will be back. The owner, Jeremy, is absolutely wonderful as well!
The name made me curious, I ordered a cheeseburger. Beef Burger with the usual cheese, ketchup and pickles topped with some kind of vegetable. It couldn't have been lettuce because it wasn't flat and dry, it looked like broccoli tops, whatever it was it was good, very good. I'm NOT sure when, but I have to go back again sometime. This drive though is located just off the beginning of Sawkill Rd after you turn off Washington Avenue. I Highly Recommend it, right now I feel like I should've gotten a 2nd burger.
Absolutely the best burger from a chain like place. Makes me cry everytime I eat a McD or Burger King regretting why I am not getting moonburger. They make the best ever version of an Impossible vegan meat.
This is one of the best fast food experiences I’ve had in New York. The burger and fries were great and the apple shake was exceptional. Would also highly recommended the cheese sauce!
The best vegetarian/vegan fast food option in town! Their burgers are really good and the shakes are incredible. They have beef now if you want it. The line can move kind of slowly, so you may have to wait if you visit during peak meal times. They are drive-thru only, but I usually park along the side road and eat my burger.
I try to go to Moonburger whenever there is one relatively nearby. This was my first time at the Kingston drive thru only location. The staff were really amazing ! And so was the food. I’ve never had a bad food item here . I support the transition if then also having meat even tho I don’t eat it. Whatever keeps them around ❤️
Eat here! The cool outside aesthetic of moon burger pulled me in, and the food delivers! The burgers are plant based (like impossible burgers). I don’t normally go for that but these were really delicious. Definitely get the fries, too! The prices are a bit higher than normal fast food but not unreasonable. They also offer GF buns. Drive thru was cute, and retro. Their food is out of this world - ha!
I love burgers but can't eat red meat for health reasons. So, anytime I see plant-based options I jump all over it. This was definitely the best take on a plant-based burger I've had. I got the cheeseburger, and I think the double onion and special sauce is what made it shine. Also, maybe the hot fries were the best part? Why is nobody else doing this?! The taste reminds me of BBQ chips and Andy Capp's hot fries, but these are actually spicy. The cheese sauce had a great consistency, and paired well with the hot fries, too. The Brownie Batter shake is pretty good. Certainly better than I thought you could do with only vegan ingredients. Oh - and no wait (around 3 pm on a Saturday).
So glad I finally made it! Very tasty, and with a limited menu they make accommodations for special diets which is so awesome! I had the classic burger on gluten free bun, the brownie batter shake, and the hot fries. Highly recommend the hot fries! For the heat and the smoky chili flavor. I went at about 5:45 and had a 20 minute wait. So worth it.
Fairly impressed with the taste of the burger. I am meat lover and didn't notice much difference in taste with the burger. Hot fries were good. The shake machine wasn't working during my visit, so I'll have to get the brownie batter shake next time. Line moved very, very slowly, as in 30 minutes for 6 cars, but taste was worth the wait.
Love the vegan shakes. The drive thru is rough. And it can be a long wait to find out they are out of shakes. I call in advance or place my order online and pick it up at the window! Much better that way!
I didn't realize it's drive through or pick up only. I was on a motorcycle, so I went to the pickup window to order. They didn't like that but I was able to order. (I explained that I would have ordered online but their website wasn't taking orders, saying the place was closed?!) They said it'd be 10 minutes or less. Twenty five minutes later, I received my food. There was no line, they clearly forgot I was there. I sat in the grass under a tree to eat, it was good fast food... in that it tasted like what I wanted and actually digested well. I'd probably go back but not if I were in a rush or couldn't order ahead online. The drive through appeared to work efficiently, from what I could see.
Drive pass this spot everyday and decided to stop in today. My daughter and her father never knew that it was meatless. Let me say they both gave it a thumbs up and left no crumbs.. Fries were fresh, milkshake was smack. Everything was good. The only thing was my milkshake was made while the car ahead was still waiting for his order.. it was 80 something degrees out so the top of shake wasn't cold and I didn't like that. So next time I hope my shake will be made last not 1st. Overall food is fresh and very good. Sauce on burger and cheese sauce is smack.. will definitely be stopping by again for sure
Food is very good, and their customer service in my experiences has been fantastic. We absolutely LOVE their shakes too, always look forward to getting them. Only 'downside' is that this is a single lane drive thru only, so depending on how busy they are you may be waiting for a little bit.....but it is well worth it.
Love the straightforward menu and prices! The MB Signature burger was delicious, especially the sauce. The moon cheese sauce is a mix between queso and a beer cheese. The fries are ok, always a little undercooked/soft, but they are a good size and not overly salty. It is drive through only!
The classic burger and classic fries are good but the cheese sauce for the fries is out of this world. My only complaint is theyre a little pricey. Combos for 2 people was a few cents shy of $40.
Better than average drive thru fast food burger (smash burger style). I had beef, my wife had the impossible (meat free) version. Next time we'll try the fries, but recommended if only for the burger!
Pretty good burger spot. I thiught everything aside from the burger meat was really good. I highly reccomend trying one of the shakes along with the queso and fries. There’s only a drive in so don’t try to get out of your car after parking. The staff was quick and ensured that we got what we ordered.
Not too bad! Was curious so had to try Moon Burger at least once. Small entry way so I am glad we waited a few weeks after opening since it was still quite a long wait. A bit expensive, slightly more than five guys burgers, so it would only be occasional for me. I can see the appeal though if you are vegan or trying to eat healthier, but if not than you'd probably prefer sticking with five guys. Burger wasn't bad at all for a meat alternative, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. It was a bit mushy & messy, but it did taste pretty good considering. I did like the cheese sauce. Fries weren't too bad, just super salty, more so than McDonald's. One small brownie batter shake would be good for at least for 2 people. We bought 3 shakes, but probably only had about 1/5 of it & popped the rest in the freezer since it is super rich and decadent I can't see anyone finishing a whole one in one sitting since it is so much richer than any milk shake or frosty. I did feel super thirsty after though I think because of the fries. I am glad to try it all at least once either way.
Update: One week after the experience detailed below, I was contacted by Moonburger in response to an email complaint. I received a partial refund for my order. Also a gift card that I most likely won't use any time soon. Moonburger seems to care about their reviews. I probably will steer clear for awhile, hopefully for Moonburger this was just a tough night for them and they give other people a better experience than I had. Original review (1/17/25): Ordered online. So many problems: Message saying the order was ready came through early. I headed over. Then waited 10+ minutes standing outside the window for the fries to cook while our burgers got cold. Next noticed that a big shake we ordered was served as a small. The label on it clearly said "big." The employee was about to argue but I pointed to the label so they asked if I wanted them to make a new one. I said yes so then waited more time for a new shake. Next we got home and found that a double cheeseburger had only a single patty. And our root beer was diet coke. And a cheese sauce was missing from the order. Come on Moonburger. I got ripped off on an extra patty & cheese sauce as well as a shake if I hadn't noticed that error. Also - if your employees are working for tips and punishing customers who don't tip on a drive through order - think about raising your prices and paying them more. I won't bother you with my business in the future!
Amazing milkshake, great fries. The meatless burger is not a substitute for meat burgers. It was fine. The lady that took my order was not friendly. If she was friendly, I would have given 4 stars.
Today I got my usual at Moon burger. The food is typically very good but today was not. The fries were cold and there were no napkins in the bag
Great lactose free shake, park to pick up your order so you don't have to navigate the 2 space parking lot.
Not clear that it is not fully vegan anymore. Beef burger and cheese are now the defaults which we didn’t realise, didn’t think I would have to double check my order at what started as a fully vegan place. Very disappointing
Dark. Female staff are courteous and cordial. Male staff members are standoffish rude and could care less about being there. No thanks . Burger was great. Service depends on who you get. Advice, just go through the drive-thru and don't walk up to the window cuz they pay. No attention to you there. Also, if you're picking up an order here, be careful. Areas dark parking is not safe
Drive through only, and was kinda slow so I would order online ahead of time. The burger was pretty small and average tasting. Hot fries are decent. Definitely worse than shake shack.
The food was the only good part. From out of town this was our first moon burger experience. Pulled up and the menu board was broken. We were met with attitude when we said we needed a minute to look the menu up on our phones. No shakes available. No fountain sodas available. Overpriced for what it is but there are no complaints about the taste of the burger and fries
Double burger with vegan cheese was messy when I received it as you can see from my photo. Sauce all over the wrapper and just not put together well. Barely any lettuce or onions on it. And they don't specify what's in their "special sauce" so not sure if it was vegan or gluten-free. I ordered ahead for pickup at a certain time and when I got there they still had to make all my food so I had to wait. Hard to find the place as it's very small and tucked back off the main road in between 2 Quik Checks. I wish it was all vegan as their ordering online is confusing. Positives: I will say that the fries were really good, as was the brownie shake. And I have celiac disease so I also appreciate that they have gluten-free buns and that shake. Also, I just appreciate in general that a fast food type place offers vegan and gluten-free options.
It's a pretty nice drive thru burger place. They're a little stingy with everything, but the overall taste and quality is acceptable for the price. The chocolate shake was amazing as well Update: During my last visit they were out of both the hot fries and the milkshake which honestly was pretty disappointing given the small menu they have. Removing a star for that The burgers are still good though
The food here is great but they get the order wrong every time. It seems like they just give you whatever is ready regardless of what you actually ordered. They just really really suck at filling orders correctly. This is especially problematic when you order impossible burgers and they just give you regular beef burgers.
When moon burger opened, I was a huge fan. Offering only a plant based burger seemed like a bold choice, I mean you can get a beef burger at a hundred places in town and plenty offer impossible meat, but to offer only the plant based option seemed like they were trying to make a statement which I appreciated. At some point they added beef to the menu. I'm sure this was an economic decision but I find it disappointing. This essentially makes the beef option the default with the impossible being an alternative. It seems like an admission that the impossible burger isn't good enough to stand on its own and seems to abandon whatever statement they were trying to make originally, at least in my perception. Tonight I stopped by after work and ordered an impossible burger and after getting home realized I had been given beef. We all make mistakes but perhaps if you're unsure of the order, it would be best to confirm with the customer. I called and the person I spoke to was very polite and apologetic, and offered to comp one in the future. Unfortunately, I think it will be hard for me to return
Good food, consistently terrible service. Don't use online ordering or you'll be left standing in the cold for at least 10 minutes because your food isn't ready. My last 3 orders something has been missing/messed up but you don't find out until you get home because it's takeout only. I wish that I could count on this place because it's awesome to have a good veggie option and the hot fries are great, but what's the point if they can't get the timing or the orders right? Get it together!!!!!!!
Waited 45 min in a drive through for 2 burgers and frys. We asked for no onions on a burger got onions. Burger was okay for the price but the wait isnt worth it.
I'm sure I would have enjoyed the burger if it was made the way I asked. The drive through girl wasn't friendly, it was my first time, I asked for no cheese and pickles and still got cheese and pickles.
These people charge about $9 for a cheeseburger now I'm going to be honest with you if you've ever had the 1921 Burger from White Castle. This is only maybe half as good as that. And that burger is around $2.50. so obviously there are no White castles near Kingston, New York and obviously by the rest of my reviews. I'm from the New York City area so that might make me seem like some sort of a snob or a clown, but let's be realistic for $9 this ain't it. And it seemed like, and I don't know if I came near closing time or something else was going on. The person that helped me wasn't rude but had a blank personality and I can totally accept that. I don't blame her in any way. But if you're not ready for that kind of thing, be prepared.
I am disappointed. It’s overpriced and out of my budget. My mom’s burger was saturated with mustard and the fries were cold and dusty when I got them. The wait was 20 minutes and only two cars were ahead of me. They forgot my large coke and we had to show them a receipt when I told them clearly I wanted a large coke. Not over the moon with moon burger
One thing about the Moonburger in Kingston? They WILL put onions on your burger no matter what you say lmao I hate writing bad reviews on fast food places because I know how much it sucks to work there but no joke one time I went around the drive thru 6 TIMES to finally get a burger without onions on it after specifically saying NO ONIONS when I ordered the first time. I had 6 burgers in my car by the end of the insanity and had to bring them to my mom’s house so they wouldn’t get wasted. I was laughing but at the same time that’s 5 burgers they gave away for free because they aren’t paying attention. This time I went around twice and gave up and just picked the onions off when I got home. But onions really suck to pick off because then the whole house and your burger and everything still smell like onions afterwards. I’m vegetarian, I don’t have a lot of places in this area I can quickly go to to get something delicious and I LOVE the oat milk milk shakes. They don’t hurt my stomach after either. Fries are good too. But guys I’m begging you to stop smothering everything in onions 😭😭 it also makes me not want to eat there at all because if they can’t even pay attention to not putting onions on, how do I know I’m not getting real beef when I ordered the Impossible patty? It sucks :( when vegetarians eat meat for the first time in years they can get super sick! Ugh sad
First and last time trying this place. Took one bite and the burger was raw, so I had to wait in the drive thru line a second time, as there’s also no option to go inside. The staff were kind. But the remade burger which I specifically asked the second time to be well done, still came out medium rare-if I’m being generous. (Photo is of the second one) Honestly it also tasted weird, flavors were just not appetizing. I ate some of it before throwing the rest away. Fries were good and staff was nice but the burger was simply gross.
This used to be our favorite fast food spot in the Hudson Valley. As a plant-based person, this restaurant exploited the vegan community and used us to build a brand that now totally goes against these ethics. There’s no such thing as sustainability raised cows. There is no compassionate slaughter. If you want to serve burgers, why don’t you kill the animals yourselves? We’ll never be coming back here again. Thanks for selling out to meat eaters and taking away such a staple for us vegans.
Tried the premium beef burger Well, first bite was a chunk of gristle with chopped bone! That was the end of the meal- be careful what you eat here. No more for me and mine.
I was trapped in their unable to exit drive thru for 55 minutes before receiving my order. The man two cars behind me put in an order online after 20 minutes of waiting with no cars leaving the order window, and received his food before I was even able to order at the intercom. After another 25 minutes I finally received my order, which the receipt said was one beef, one impossible burger, which was incorrect having ordered two impossible burgers. Upon bringing both burgers to complain about the order being wrong, I was informed that they were in fact BOTH BEEF BURGERS, so a completely incorrect order. We are vegetarians, and this restaurant started as vegetarian, so it is incredibly insulting to make me wait AN HOUR in a drive thru that once entered you cannot leave, only to have to beg for the order I actually paid for. Luckily neither of us is allergic to beef, because it is a serious health issue if we were. You could kill someone, especially because beef and impossible patties are harder to identify without tasting it or pulling it apart. The staff was clearly struggling and short staffed. At one point an obviously disgruntled worker walked outside to restaurant to yell for another worker who may have been on a break that they needed help really bad. The worker appeared stretched to the brink. The worker on the long break casually made their way back inside. The fries were cold, soggy and awful. The burger we finally received had a hair embedded in it, and neither of them tasted like it was properly cooked. I have visited this restaurant so many times, and I have never EVER had a complaint about it, and I would’ve given it 5 stars without blinking. The food was always good, always correct. I don’t know what’s changed recently but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had a fast food restaurant. The person in front of us had an element of their order that was incorrect and the person behind us an element of their order that was incorrect and both had to go to the walk up window like I did. It’s clearly the fault of an owner that has expanded too quickly, adding beef burgers to a vegetarian restaurant, adding online ordering to a kitchen that can fit 6 ppl maximum. When you add beef burgers to a restaurant that claims to cook on separate griddles, you HALVE your cooking space, and when you add online ordering you arguably increase your orders by at least double, if not more. So halving your cooking space and doubling your orders results in ungodly wait times, which have nothing to do with “cooking to order.” This is absolutely disheartening and they’ve lost themselves two extremely dissatisfied long time and formerly LOYAL customers. This was a soul crushing experience and the owner should be ashamed. The workers looked exhausted, weary and disheartened. I can tell this is not their fault cuz they were trying their damndest.
This place has declined a LOT. Yesterday I got the brownie batter shake and it was not at all what it used to be! It tasted sour like yogurt. My kids didn’t like it and they’re kids! It used to be the best vegan milkshake ever and now it’s sludge. I think it’s likely why I woke up feeling very sick.
Food was amazing BUT, I ordered online and after I received my text saying my food was ready, I stood at the “Online Pick up” window in the raid watching their employees drop cheese and just about everything on the floor while I stood their in the pouring rain. My bad was RIGHT there and they just let me stand there for 10 - 15 minutes waiting as they just dropped stuff and refilled fry boxes… I say hire better people or pay them more.
It was a lot of money for nothing. Super complicated to get in through the drive through, I ordered three juices, they didn’t give it to me although I paid for it. The spicy fries had waaaay too much seasoning on top you’re basically eating seasoning with fries. Not good for the price
I could care less about atmosphere and service as long as the food is decent but this is disgusting slop. 2 cheeseburgers 3 fries and was charged $50. burgers were raw, fries were all hard, probably reused from the day before. They didn’t have part of the order, ordered online never received a refund for the items they didn’t have in stock. Took 30 minutes to prepare the food, whole time I was there only a single person drove thru the drive thru. The price vs the quality is so egregious it should be a crime. That’s how bad and absolutely disgusting it was. I been here before too. First time it was good no issues. second time the burger was medium well but still edible obviously this time it was raw and I literally got robbed. I’m not the kind of person to complain but not only is it extremely overpriced but you’ll get better quality at a McDonald’s and it’s probably healthier too since it’s not raw beef or old fries at McDonald’s.
We got to the Kingston check-in and were at the ordering at 8:50. We kept asking for someone. Finally I walked to the window and was told he would take my order. He didn’t answer. And then at 9:00 came out and told us that he was closed and there was nothing he could do. Terrible customer service!!!
I ordered a burger with lettuce, ketchup and without cheese and they gave me a burger with only patties and cheese. They texted me that the order was ready and when we came to pick it up only then they started making the order
PSA: if you value your health and have food allergies, I strongly recommend you never, ever give Moonburger your business. I never write reviews of anything (this is literally my first) and I hate to, but I have been to Moonburger 6 times. 5 of those 6 times - that's 83% of my visits - they have made a serious mistake on the order. I'm not talking about missing ingredients or missing items, although that happens every time as well, I'm talking about serious food allergy mistakes. Without fail, I politely request no cheese and explain that it's an allergy. Without fail, they put cheese on the burger anyway. One time, I had to go back THREE TIMES in one night for them to get it right (and by "right," I just mean without ingredients I explicitly told them I'm allergic to. There are ALWAYS other ingredients missing or added without being requested, which is not the end of the world). They are usually apologetic and give me tokens to use for free meals when I return, but it doesn't matter anymore. They have an infinitesimally small menu and yet they manage to make serious mistakes every single time. I'll be giving my remaining tokens to those who need it more than me and I'll never go back again. Enough is enough. They're going to seriously hurt someone, if not worse. I see dozens of reviews stating the same thing, sometimes blaming the employees, sometimes laying blame elsewhere. Ultimately, this is on ownership as it happens at all locations, apparently, and with significant frequency. They need to either massively overhaul their training and quality control immediately or they should not be in business, full stop. I don't say that lightly, but they are simply not to be trusted. Great concept, it's really a shame.
Moonburger’s food is delicious, but only when they can get your order correct. I’ve ordered multiple times and I’d say at least 50% of the time the order is either incorrect or incomplete. How do you check off a receipt with multiple items and forget to put said items in the bag? It’s actually pretty comical.
We feel betrayed by the new origin story that pretends they didn’t grow with the support of vegans and vegetarian. If you want to include meat in your menu that is your prerogative; it’s also mine to stop being a customer. The following review is before Moonburger stopped being all vegetarian: The burgers were full of flavor, the fries were fresh and the cheddar cheese dipping sauce was perhaps the best we've had at a restaurant. We travelled an hour for these burgers and will do so again!
