I would return simply for the chips and salsa. Every breakfast brunch dish we ordered was on point. Coffee was great. However, we especially loved how the server kept refilling our dish with additional chips when needed.

It was a great choice! The wait staff was fast and our waitress constantly checked on us even though it was a super busy labor day weekend lunch! Our wait was just around 20 minutes but they got us in quick and we're organized with it! We got hit with chips and salse as soon as we sat. Got a small queso, yum! We ordered a full quesadilla, added rice and beans on the side. It was perfect, hot melted cheese and crispy Tortilla. Flavor was great! Definitely going back! Side note: I forgot my sunglasses, had to drive back, and as soon as I walked in, a young staff member held them in the air and smiled. I was so happy!

The Garcia’s chilie con queso is really good! I forgot the name but these were very tasty too! Then we had to get desert! They all were very good! Then to top that off service was very quick. Love this place and would highly recommend anyone to stop in!

Ordered menudo & Barbacoa tacos. Garcias takes the time to cut into small pieces which we like. the barbacoa tacos are not greasy & the barbacoa does not soak your tortilla. At most places i have to discard the greasy tortilla & move my barbacoa to a fresh tortilla by the time i get home. these & especially the homemade corn tortilla were delicious Update: first time here in the evening, amazing dinners, beer, & a great selection of deserts. First of all, the staff of the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The wait staff explained the dishes very well, making us aware of the ingredients (to ensure people with certain allergies and intolerances can choose to deduct/alternate from their orders). The food was really good - all of the items we ordered and they were fresh. Although we went there towards the closing time, the staff understood it and they were fine having us finish off our foods before we left. We gave them a tip for being so helpful. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and warm to let customers dine in with their loved ones/family/friends. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Kyle or have a craving for Tex-Mex and feel adventurous driving all the way to Kyle from San Marcos/Buda/your location.

The patio is back open and I'm super happy about it. It looks great with all new wood, nice new tables, and a fresh blue paint job. Will be dining here more often again. The shrimp enchiladas with poblano sauce are still amazing. The beans and rice mixed into some fresh flour tortillas is delicious. If the salsa isn't hot enough for you, ask for the breakfast salsa, it's much spicier. They also have a salsa verde that is just pepper and onions, and it's really good. Service is attentive and respectful. The waitresses were kind and friendly. I really enjoyed my lunch here and will be back again and again.

Despite that they didn't know what a Steven's Special was or even heard of it, our server Erica made sure we were able to order something similar while suggesting an alternative. The Queso was actually better than we expected for a Chile Con Queso combination. It wasn't as spicy as most. As you seen in the submitted picture post of the supreme nachos, you better bring an appetite or you'll have leftovers. I also suggest the Fiesta Plate (all beef or cheese) as you get a small variety of favorites as a meal combination. You also better arrive early to avoid the lunch rush and breakfast is served all day. Outside of the one server making sure our salsa bowl didn't remain empty to our wonderful server Erica making sure our needs were met and no one was dissatisfied or thirsty, we enjoyed our 1st visit here with the possibility of a return.

One of the better places in Kyle! Food is pretty good. A lot of good flavors, but they can be a bit stingy with like things the amount of cheese on a quesadilla, or salsa and pico. Service is fast and friendly, but forgetful. Don't bother asking for a lemon or lime for beer or tea. Depending on the time and day, parking can be tight as it's at the back of a sometimes busy shopping center. Overall pretty clean place, and not crazy atmosphere. Good for a quick lunch or dinner if you're in the neighborhood.

The waitress was fantastic, but the hostess was definitely struggling with large groups during a busy time. Salsa is great, there's 2 types, one is definitely more spicy.

First time here. Ordered the fried catfish platter which was good and fresh. The fries were a little overcooked though. The tamales were ok. Not something to rave about. But ok. The waitress was nice and courteous. Will come back again. If nearby.

Food was good, but WAY overpriced! I got two breakfast tacos and it was almost $10. I thought that maybe they'd be huge for that price, but they were very small.

I had the unfortunate experience to go order at Garcias Mexican restaurant , and I left feeling disappointed. We ordered lunch to go and when we got home, it was underwhelming. I ordered the chimichanga and it was dry and lacking flavor. It tasted like it had been sitting out for far too long. My dining partner ordered a tortilla soup and got a small chicken breast. We both had an awful experience and to top it off we ordered a large drink and we got a small standard size. I was told that’s the only size for the price of a large $3.59 with a large amount of ice it was very disappointing. We both expected much more for the price we paid of almost $50 for 2 meals I will not be buying lunch from here again.

I used to enjoy this place, I sent my brother in law to place an order to go, he arrived at 1:12 he than waited until 2:10 to get his order. Apparently the server placed his order on the table to the right of the register and forgot to inform him that the food was ready. He finally got tired of waiting and went up to ask where his food was they didn’t notify him that it was our order on the counter and it sat there for more than 40 mins. Then proceeded to give him the order that was sitting there for that amount of time, my brother in law told them he would not take the food unless it was remade. They went into the back came back 10 mins later and only offered a drink for the Inconvenience. Then I called when he got home with the food because i tried to eat my enchilada but we’re cold, missing a side and the order of fries I ordered for my son were dry and cold. Which the Manager Oscar only said he could give me a refund if I brought the food back which is an inconvenience to me again if I’m not the one who made the mistake to begin with, nor did I feel like ever seeing this place again. I wasted $38.94 at this restaurant and it was the worst way to start my Off my Sunday. Never again!
