Pryscilla is the reason we dine at Denny's in La Porte and today was no exception. Pryscilla was the only waitress and the place was hopping! Thanks for the superb customer service, Pryscilla!!
Nice place and waiters. It was late so me and my family went because it was right by our hotel and we got back from an event. Despite only two waiters, they were excellent and food came out fast. My only complaint was about the people around us being impatient and completely rude to the people working who just wanted to get their orders out.
Had a wonderful breakfast and their coffee is delicious. Service great
This nostalgic location is always a treat to visit. We met family that returned from a cruise and everyone left full & happy. Thank you!

I have to give a shout-out to kalyssa! The food is always incredible and the service is top-notch, but she makes the experience truly special She is so attentive, friendly, and always remembers my order Last night she recommended the bourbon chicken skillet, and it was amazing! If you go definitely go in the afternoon to catch her there Thankfully last night my elderly parents and I were in there when the storm happened cause she took such good care of us until it stopped raining yes the lights did turn off for a moment but they were immediately back on although their register and computers were affected due to it we completely understood about cash only until a very drunk couple came in and tried to cause trouble for her she handled it so well and still so nice even when the man came in aggressive towards her staff I will forever go here and be greeted with the same welcoming smile 😁💕
Their food was good. The pancakes were fluffy. They were an inch and a half. Their cook was wonderful. He cooked my eggs just like I want them extra extra scrambled soft no butter on my toast that cook with an excellent cook. The coffee was good. The restrooms were clean. That’s a nice Danny’s. I wish they would build more like that one.
5/5 stars! My son said his server Brandy C. at Denny's was absolutely fantastic! 🙌 So upbeat and friendly, she made their dining experience truly enjoyable. The service was lightning-fast, and she had a great attitude to boot! 😊 Thanks for the great service - they'll be back soon! 👍
I came in last night with my family for dinner, and shakes! Everything was delicious! Our server Kalyssa was very sweet and helpful, my kids also adored her and we can’t wait to go back!
i LOVED it. amazing people and food. my waitress was super nice. even when we had trouble with the card machine the lovely GM helped with it..overall a great place and i’ll definitely be back

The food was freaking awesome!! Gotta hand it to Denny's y'all. They stepped up their game! Lol I definitely plan on eating there again. The service was great and everyone was very friendly as well. Their menu has a good variety of different foods to choose from. There's something for just about everyone. :)

This is a new item (forgot the name) on the menu! Fun and tasty breakfast change...biscuits and gravy topped with chicken pieces, shredded cheese and eggs, sunny side up. Really nice employees and clean restaurant (safe covid procedures followed).

We enjoy our local Dennys. Usually we go there for breakfast. Pancakes are great. The service is great they all treat us so well. Most of the time know our order before we order. :). Especially decaf coffee for me. They almost always make a fresh pot as not too many people probably drink Decaf. Megan is awesome and we always enjoy her service and conversation, but the others are excellent as well. We really enjoy the kindness of the staff. Building needs some TLC if not a complete wipe and load but hopefully Dennys corporate is aware of this and is here in La Porte for a long time. Thanks

Was 1 waitress, 7 people were in restaurant at the time. We were told as we entered; there was going to be a wait. Table was dirty, made excuses how the shift before them didn't make tea. Food wasn't cooked to order, not sure we will be back. Waffle house was right down the road.

Service was good but place definitely needs upgrading and remodeling has a bathroom like smell.
Went in to pick up an online order. My order was wrong, when I came back in to correct it the woman working the counter was unbelievably rude to me for no reason. When asked if my order could be remade the lady working the kitchen loudly scoffed and said "really?!" At which point I told them to just give me my food back so I can leave. This is 100% the kind of place where they will spit in your food for even the smallest slight. Absolutely abysmal customer service.
Whoever this lady is that answering the phone and taking orders really should find a different job if she can't handle customer well. 3 people tried to order food and she refused everyone service! You cannot talk crazy to paying customers on the phone and talk to people like their stupid!! & u wonder y u got called out ur name! Yall need better servers with BETTER ATTITUDES!!! So if yall hungry,...please eat elsewhere cuz her stank attitude ain't worth going to dennys. The waffle house will get all me and my co-works money from here on out
The place is nice to look at but, if you want to have salty food then go ahead you are more than welcome here. I ordered coffee and the girl brought the cup but no coffee after 15 minutes I asked her what happened to the coffee and she was like, "oh my bad let me get it." The broccoli had a seasoning also salty and kind of spicy. There was no smoothies or shakes since they told us that the machine for that was broken. Add that we were EATEN BY MOSQUITOES, they have at least 20 mosquitoes surrounding the tables 😒. Not good when you are at a restaurant. They also don't let you get tables together for covid reasons but they have the restaurant at full capacity. Doesn't make sense. So if you have a big party avoid coming here. If I come back to this location I hope they fix all this problems.
