El Rey De La Papa Y La Paisa is a small, inviting Mexican spot known for its delicious tacos, esquites, and mangonadas. Customers rave about the flavorful food, friendly service (especially from Laura), and reasonable prices. Some find the food dry or lacking flavor, and the horchata weak.
Tip: Be warned, the hot salsa is very hot! Also, be aware that this place is more like a stationary food truck than a traditional restaurant.
Bruh you better hurry up and try this lady's taco bruhh!! 🌮 trust I beeb places this lady taco not from USA it's from Mexico bruhhh! Im done your loss 📉 🙂 im coming back for 2nds
We ordered an assortment of tacos, mangonadas, and esquites and everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend
This place was amazing! We went close to closing time as we were starving and just needed something to eat before ending the night and this place delivered! I wish I took a photo of our food but sadly ate it, way too fast before I even noticed! We got 2 quesadillas with pastor as well as 2 horchatas and they were delicious! Came back twice this week because they had a sale for BOGO tacos! Absolutely delicious every time and for such a great price and awesome deal! Love coming here
After spending 3 hours in turnpike traffic the fried burrito saved my life. I was going to drive my car into a ditch. It is the best thing I have ever eaten. I dream about it every night. As I write this review I plan my next journey to this establishment for the fried burrito. It is the thing I love 3rd most in my life, right after my family and friends. When I die, I hope to eat nothing but the first fried burrito I ate at this establishment for all of eternity.
The street taco scene seems to be the in thing right now and who doesn’t like a good street taco or street corn. But let me tell you something, this little brick and mortar is the real deal. Great customer service, nice portions, authentic flavors and a reasonable price. I hope to see this place stick around. We will definitely be back.
These were the best tacos we have had in a really long time!!! The tongue tacos were outstanding and the birria tacos were perfection. I don’t always order Elote because it never looks like the picture but the Elote looked just like the picture and the flavor was exactly what I was expecting. The service was also 5 star. They were very accommodating and everything was with a smile. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Tacos are so delicious and authentic. They are as close as I can get to Mexico, Arizona, and California. 🌮😋🇲🇽 I've tried a bunch of different tacos, but these are the best in Orlando! ❤️
Finally, a delicious taco restaurant in Winter Garden. Very clean & good service. Prices low & BTW once you eat here you will likely return.
Five stars all around, I’ve tried tacos all over Florida from Apopka to Groveland. Food trucks and restaurants. Tacos Padrísimo takes the shell for best tacos. Eduardo and Valentina are so kind and generous! Thank you for a great meal!
The Burris tacos are what it is all about at this authentic, locally owned, taqueria. We always make a point to stop by and grab some of their delicious tacos and the quesabirria. Just the best!
Very friendly, Food was great. We got the birria tacos would highly recommend. Tamales were excellent. Flautus were also delicious and crispy. Elote was also excellent We also got asada tacos and chicken tacos. The chicken was just ok. The carne asada was good though. Last was churro wife liked it enough to get 3 more orders.
The food is super good, I recommend the birria tacos, a place to spend a pleasant time with your friends and family, the service provided by the super nice and friendly cashier makes you feel confident and gives the best recommendations.. I recommend this place 100 %
I ordered 4 Birria tacos and a quesobirrria. The food was off the chain. The two men working were very nice and the food is a good price. I highly recommend this little hole in the wall place!
Quick service, good prices, great food.
So good! Got the three tacos- fish, carnitas, and fish and elote. So tasty and im so full! Come here!
What an excellent experience the food was amazing and the drinks were amazing nothing bad I have to say but I wish i had more room to eat more will be back
Had to try this place and didn’t disappoint. I tried the asada, chorizo and pastor. Super tasty and tasty. Give it a visit
I had a delicious chicken burrito and a beer. Perfect pairing. Staff was wonderful, the location is quaint and very comfortable..
Laoudra was great from the time we came in . This restaurant is VERY CLEAN and the food is noticeably FRESH ! Truly authentic slow cooked meats I had the #2 combo with 2 Carnitas and 2 Barbacoa tacos and it was delicious ! I also tasted my mom’s Birria ramen and that consume is to die for !!! 100/10 Will definitely be coming back often ! If yous haven’t yet GO TRY TACOS PADRISIMO RIGHT NOW !
This is a great new Mexican food place, but adjust your expectations because it's basically a stationary food truck. I'm not saying that as a bad thing, just don't expect a big Mexican food restaurant. The owner was extremely friendly and made sure we had an exceptional experience. We tried a little bit of everything. My favorite was the burrito, and my wife liked the corn. We hope the best for this small business and encourage everyone to give them a try.
Ridiculously flavorful and delicious burritos. The food is comforting and simple in construction. Rice, beans, meat, but somehow incredibly juicy. Their homemade salsa are the perfect accompaniment. I prefer the red salsa because it’s a little more Spicy
Small but great place to eat! The food is delicious with good portions. The guy there is always in a good mood and patient. I love this place and will recommend it to anyone!
Our first time here, delicious food, friendly staff. Recommend this place! Will be coming back. Beware, hot salsa is hot!! 🔥

Small mom and pop taco place. Very inviting, clean.
Best tacos 🌮 come get some try it out! Great prices! Great employees!
Food is great prices are perfect and my 6 year old ate it so big plus.
Everything was delicious! Hadn’t found good authentic Mexican food in the area yet and this place exceeded all expectations! Will definitely be coming back
I had the Birria Ramen & it was full of flavor @ meat! Laoudra provided 5 star customer service. I will be back and suggest to others.
Found by accident. So glad we did!! Delish food, friendly service. Highly recommend
Laura always has good customer service. The food is great and she always make it quickly. She also is really respectful and cares about the customers.
The service, on point. The food was delicious, we ordered birria tacos and some tortas, we will definitely be back.
Food was amazing and quick. Service was also great. 10/10!!
Laura is the BEST! We have visited numerous times and it is always a delight. Our most recent visit it was pack with a rush and Laura managed all orders and cooking with a masterful elegance. The food was GREAT, as it always is when Laura is at the grill. Love this place!
So good. If you’re looking for a good Mexican street taco spot, this is it. I had a quesadilla and it was perfectly crispy and loaded with cheese and flavor. Everything tasted fresh, and the staff was fast and friendly. Definitely coming back.

Place was clean, which is always very important! You can see the kitchen from the counter and looks very clean. Price for three street tacos very reasonable. Tacos we ate were shrimp, carnitas, pastor, lengua, carne asada and barbacoa; give 4 out 5 for tacos do to lengua being ok. Also had the nachos with barbacoa; chips were nice and crispy, had to mix all ingredients.. eat them at the place they could get soggy and not crispy if you wait till you get them home. Overall will come back!

Food is okay kind of expensive for what you get. I feel there are better options for the same price or even less.
Been looking around for some good tacos. These were OK, they were dry tho. & the horchata didn’t have much flavor. It cost $18 for this

Giving 2 stars because the service was good, only came here because my usual taco spot was closed for the day. I wouldn’t recommend the food it was flavorless, store bought tortillas, hard meat. 13649 Granville Ave, Clermont, FL 34711. Go here by far the best in the area.
They were very kind and got my food out quickly. However, not a big fan of the food. The horchata tastes too much vanilla. Like just sugar and vanilla. I also ordered tacos, the tortilla was ok but the flavor on the pastor wasn’t great compared to many places I have tried. It was an ok first experience but I wouldn’t come again.
Very Disappointed with this food uncooked. Shrimp is not clean. Rice was not even properly cooked. They charge me almost $15.exter 4 doller for Shrimp. No Sour cream add There's no test. Quantities very small and little top of that. I don't find any tusty . I will never go there for food. Waste of money in an unhealthy.
We ordered from here thinking it would be good based on the reviews, but the food was a major letdown. The chips and queso were not Mexican. The cheese is more like low quality nacho cheese you might get at a gas station. The tamales were dry. They nickel-and-dime for ingredients. Would not order from here again honestly.
First time here and definitely the last one as well. 15 mins after we placed our order they came to tell me, they couldn’t make my burrito cause they didn’t have rice, that I had to wait 30 mins. The place was empty, what were you doing for 15 mins that it took you that long to realize they didn’t have rice? Food was salty. Over priced for the “quality” of food. I had to get up and get the bottle water we bought half way thru my meal cause they never brought it. All the chairs are high, we are short women and our legs felt asleep. Over all not a good experience. Zero stars.
This was a huge disappointment.. we’ve lived in TX, traveled the west and absolutely love finding a great taco spot. Sadly this is not it… Upon entering we were not greeted, and she all but rolled her eyes. The website clearly stated a taco Tuesday special available at all locations but she stated that was not available there.. I find that hard to understand since there are only two locations. After ordering to go, she bagged it up, sat it on the counter.. said nothing and turned her back to us. The vibe was very off. Tacos were ok at best but the green and red sauce was tasty. Sadly when the service is rude, I certainly won’t spend my money there.
They barely put any meat inside the tacos. Literally not even a bite. $15 crazy
Only 2 persons attending, cashier was taking orders and cooking at the same time , he never changed his gloves and he was taking money and food 😞😞 Not good it all.... Chips no good, guacamole 🤮 No restrooms , no place for wash our hands Small place... bad service, no good food.. I do not recommend this place 🤢🤮
There is no reason this place should have as high of a rating as it does. I have been to almost every Mexican restaurant in the whole western half of Orlando, been to places like LA, Mexico and Texas many times, and this was one of the worst - skip it and go somewhere like Don Poncho instead. The food was bland and dry, service was terrible, and the atmosphere was really bad. No air conditioning in the middle of summer, no bathroom or even a sink, no complimentary chips and salsa you get at practically any Mexican restaurant (good or bad), and extremely skimpy on portions. Tacos don’t have much meat and basically no onions and cilantro (one of my tacos literally had 2 pieces of diced onion and one piece of a cilantro leaf). Tortillas didn’t taste fresh (super dry), and the refried beans and guacamole tasted frozen - not even homemade at all. And it wasn’t even cheap!! It was expensive - more than other places that actually taste good! Don’t go here; from my own personal experience, pretty much any other Mexican restaurant is better than this.
Flavorless and tacos were dry. Everything was over priced and sucked so bad. Asked for chips with my guacamole and got fries… if u want authentic tacos this is the place u should NOT be going to. Ruined my whole day spent $65 on terrible flavorless food. My man ordered birria tacos and this is the slob that we got mind you we didn’t even go anywhere we at in the parking lot cause they only have high stools which isn’t comfortable to sit in if you’re pregnant or have any disability. To finish this off the worker who completely got our order wrong caught an attitude when we asked for one of our orders to be refunded… we ordered birria 2 tacos and got 2 order of birria quesadillas -.- how u get mad when u didn’t even give us what we ordered AND IT WAS SLOPPY. Just disgusting who ever owns this place needs to take a trip to Mexico and take some notes.
This place was truly disappointing. Flavorless tacos and 3 pieces of meat.
