Pretty good sushi place, fish tasted fresh. The rolls are on smaller side but tastes good. They have bento lunch specials. I would recommend they invest in a better menu book with photos. It will help their business and make it more enticing for customers to purchase more menu items. I was recommended to try the Romeo and Juliette Roll and it was light and delicious. Bonus, there’s a huge Tesla Charging Station on the other side of the strip mall.
Family brought us here to celebrate a birthday - even though they stick to bento boxes and don't get the sushi. Worked out, everything was very fresh and tasty. It's a small space inside and very homey. Loved the no rice roll options. The servers were making jokes with us and jumping in pictures, we were the only ones there for awhile. (If you're the stick to yourselves type, you will hate this.)
Love, love Little Ferry. My absolute favorite the Sushi Burrito and Romeo and Juliet.. the fish always tastes fresh, the quality is always spot on consistent. The Romeo and Juliet is refreshing and light, the burrito is packed with flavor.
This is truly a hidden gem worth visiting for some great sushi! We went for a date night and instantly fell in love with the cozy atmosphere along with the warm and inviting service. The rolls were delicious and fish was absolutely fresh and tasteful. The happy hour specials were the cherry on top! The service was top notch and super fast. Servers were so sweet and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!
delicious and high quality! the salmon belly melted in my mouth & the holy cow specialty roll was great! the torched wagyu was so yummy. the servers were also very attentive and friendly :)
Me and my friends were hungry and we wanted to beat the traffic so we decided to eat early dinner and then go on the road. This place looked good and we love sushi so we decided to go to your place. There was a line up and we were told very clearly that things may get delayed to get seated inside. One good thing I want to say about the waitress is that she was very good with her communication, explained how much time it will take, how to order etc. We were lucky that we got seated shortly. The menu was shared and explained what's on the menu then one needs to mark the order form. The waitress came in no time validated by reading it loud. We didn't have to wait long and the appetizers such as edamame with garlic, and chicken karaga, while we were enjoying the drinks we relied on water which was served at the first place with the menu. We ordered non rice sushi which is more protein and less carbs. We had cucumber sushi, yellowtail sushi, and keto sushi. It was delicious and we really enjoyed having conversations and enjoying the sushi dinner. The customer service is great and I will give 5 stars to the waitress and her service. The ambience has a positive vibes and customers move in and move out smoothly. They do have a clean restroom but it's one person at a time so be aware of that.
One of the best sushi restaurants in Lake Forest. Yellowtail carpaccio, Holy Cow(wagyu beef roll), and some sushi were quite good. Shrimp tempura was crispy and fresh. Udon soup base was perfect but noodle was slightly overcooked.
5 Stars, the bento box was excellent. We’ve ordered this before at other restaurants but they seem to have it down here. All items were fresh and crispy. The sushi was also amazing. Service was excellent as they made sure to keep our waters filled and were on hand for anything else. This place is worth a visit!
I randomly decided to try this place and was pleasantly surprised. Very good find. Great options, quality sushi, good sushi, good service. Definitely will return.
Little Ferry Sushi is by far the BEST sushi restaurant in OC! I’ve had their sushi before , so I decided to order a catering from them for our party tonight. The sushi platter and the mixed roll platters were amazing - Super delicious and fresh, and beautifully put together! They even gave me some edamame on the house! Highly recommended!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻🍣🍣🍣
The sushi here is delicious, boasting fresh ingredients and inventive flavor combinations that tantalize the taste buds. Each dish is prepared with care, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and commitment to quality. Additionally, the service at Little Ferry Sushi is exemplary; the staff is attentive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. This combination of fantastic food and exceptional service makes it a must-visit spot for sushi lovers.
Some of the freshest fish I've had in a while. The rolls were really good as was the sushi. Everything was so good that I was comfortable ordering Uni, which was velvety delicious.
I'm grateful that a delicious sushi restaurant has opened in my neighborhood. I ordered a few rolls and a sushi combo. All of them are fresh, and delicious. The staff are also friendly.
Nice little restaurant. We ordered some baked rolls and unagi bowl. The bowl only has a few eel on it so it's a bit disappointing considering the price. The restaurant is small so it could fill up pretty quickly. And service was great. Servers are attentive and polite.
It was my second time there. I had ferry lunch special combo sushi and signature roll and yellow tail carpaccio. it was as good as the first time. Price is good. Portion is good. Quality is good. It has become one of my favorite restaurants. My server , she was so nice and worked so hard. Definitely I will go again. ^^

It was awesome and tasty!!
Everything was good.
This is our go to for sushi delivery. Fish is fresh and they have such tasty unique rolls. We especially love the sashimi roll and the lake forest roll, but we haven’t had any misses here!
Former O'shine Taiwanese Kitchen is no longer here; it's now a Japanese restaurant with tasty and affordable dishes. Although the grilled yellowtail collar was sold out, the waiter's recommendation of the red snapper head proved to be an excellent choice. The fish was expertly cooked, resulting in juicy, flavorful meat that was rich but not heavy. The light and tangy ponzu sauce was the perfect accompaniment, enhancing the taste of the fish. This was the first time I'd ever eaten an entire fish head, leaving no meat behind. From the combo box, I chose the chicken karaage and the chef's choice sushi. As always, the Japanese fried chicken was excellent, and the custom-made mayonnaise took it to another level. The salad, a side dish in the combo box, was delicious with its light, sweet, and sour ginger dressing. The chef, who I think owns the place, gave me a free minced tuna sushi, and it was so fresh and tasty.

Freshest tasting sushi I have had in a long time. The small location allows for better and faster service.
We went to Little Ferry Sushi for the first time after everyone name it the best sushi in toen on FB. We went on a rainy day around dinner time. Every table had people sitting down. Our wait time was about 5 minutes. After we sat down, there was people coming in every minute. Sushi was amazing!! My favorite roll was Romeo and Juleit.
By far the best sushi we have had outside of Japan.. The service while gracious was a bit slow due to the onslaught of patrons. A definite keeper.
Everything about this place is great. The staff is super attentive and helpful. The food is excellent in both flavor and presentation. Always super happy to eat here. :)
What a beautiful restaurant. The food is very nice and fresh. The seat and music are very feel worm and cozy. Staffs are very kind. I will come back with my friends again.
Soooo good. Lovely place! Yuri is so kind :)
Really fresh, nice menu options. Decent prices for good quality sushi.
Me and my boyfriend could not be happier with our food and service here ! I have never written a review in my life but this place really deserves the 5 stars! We will absolutely being coming back and highly recommend it :)
First time here. Me and my fiancée are big time sushi lovers. This is the best sushi we’ve had. Definitely coming back soon.
Affordable sushi with great quality. Try the Spanish tuna if they have it. Friendly staff as well. It’s our new favorite local spot.
Amazing sushi for reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My new go-to sushi spot.
Delicious food, quick service! We will definitely go back again soon!
food was great , a lowkey spot so not so crowded . food was very fresh and the staff very friendly. only downside was they dont sell alcohol yet but i assume they are workin on it!
Food was fresh and very delicious. Service is quick and friendly.
Super good sushi. Very fresh and flavorful. Creative rolls. I highly recommend it.
Omg ..best Sushi ever. Nicest and friendly waitresses. Went there Friday, going back Monday...can't wait!!!
Small dining area, but excellent food and service. The food is just delicious!
Food was so yummy and fresh! Completely recommend.
Wonderful new sushi restaurant. Food was great and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
It’s only one place in California, who know how make rolls especially Philadelphia, thanks, the best place .
I love this place. The sushi is always good and the service is the best
Great tastes and great service
Very tasty! Pleasant and friendly atmosphere
Great food and fantastic staff, always so welcoming and kind!
Sushi was excellent, good priced and service great!
Awesome. Perfect crunch roll and unagi sauce. Thank you!!
Food was delicious and servers were so nice.
Best sushi in Lake Forest!!! :)
I recently dined at Little Ferry Sushi and had an incredible experience. The service was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my meal. The sushi at Little Ferry Sushi was exceptionally fresh and bursting with flavor! Whether you're a sushi lover or new to the cuisine, I highly recommend giving Little Ferry Sushi a try. You won't be disappointed!
We just went here for the first time for our anniversary. We were craving sushi and all the positive reviews convinced me to check it out and Little Ferry did not disappoint! Some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. All delicious and thoughtfully made. And everyone was so nice! Also really cute decor, modern yet cozy. I’m lucky I’ve found a new place so close to home that I could literally walk there! We will be back soon for happy hour! ⛴️🍱💋
Just visited this place with my sister, and we were delighted with everything about it, staff is very attentive and nice, the place is very nice and soothing, and the food was great, everything was very fresh, my personal favorite was the chicken teriyaki. It has a great balance with service, food and prices are great.
Favorite local sushi place. Small neighborhood restaurant. Fills up with patrons quickly. Consistently good food with fresh ingredients. Healthy food. Very good service every time. We try to go off hours to avoid crowd.
Worth 6 stars. This place was surprisingly good. No wait. Prompt service, and surprisingly delicious menu that was far beyond expectations.
Cute little local sushi spot. Inventive rolls, high quality fish, excellent service. Chefs are fast and skilled. Everything is clean and fresh, great rice to fish ratio on rolls and nigiri. Plenty of specials. Def worth a try. If you're reading this, just go!
I recently discovered this gem of a restaurant and I am happy I did. We tried the bento box and all the items were fresh, tasty and leaves you wanting more. It was so good we returned 2 weeks later and had it today. This time we tried a variety of sushi rolls and once again it was delicious. Great friendly staff and quick service to add. Excellent service and great food all around.
Great neighborhood sushi restaurant! I’m not a huge reviewer, but this place was fantastic and is new. Give it a try and you will definitely want to come back! The fish was fresh and service was AWESOME! Uri, our waitress, waited until 7:45pm to take our order so we could have the happy hour special (Mon-Thurs 7:45pm-8:30pm). We especially loved the Cucumber Island riceless roll and Spicy Crispy Tuna! The crunchy onions on top of the Cucumber Island were absolutely delectable!! Check this place out! We highly recommend it!
Best sushi we’ve found in the local area. The only reason for a 4 on service is because my husband likes to request hand rolls instead of tradition rolls and that’s a hit or miss depending on the server. But other than that it’s really a local gem with high quality fresh sushi and very friendly staff.
My boyfriend and I had a lovely dinner tonight. Served by Yuri, who was so bright and friendly. She was personable and super effective at her job. It seems like she’s happy here and that made me so happy. Sushi was delicious! Music is the right volume, everything feels clean and fresh! The host tonight was also great. Excellent service :)
Just tried this spot for the first time and was very impressed. There are so many options for the lunch special, something for everyone! The prices are reasonable and the food portion is very nice. My friend and I both got the Ferry lunch special, and for rolls we tried the Aloha and Ferry. I look forward to exploring more of the menu! The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The service is very friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed our meal here. The sushi was delicious, high quality, and the price was very fair. The service was good too. I love that they have blue crab on the menu.
The people working there were so kind, warm and friendly. The sushi was delicious fresh and reasonably priced. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.
Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Place is small but cozy. Totally recommend. Needed to drop one of my stars based on our last 2 visits. Tried a couple other dishes and they weren't nearly as good as our first experience. Will decide to drop another star or add one back if we come back.
This place is great !!!! Just wanted to say how much I loved my recent visit to this restaurant. It was my first time, The sushi was fantastic, and the atmosphere was spot-on. A huge shoutout to Euri, our server—she was beyond phenomenal and really made the experience at the place special!! Can't wait to come back! Yaseen
I keep coming back to this place because the quality of the fish/rolls are consistent and taste delish. The service staff is almost so kind to me and my children. Very considerate. The restaurant is quaint.
If you're looking for that "Hidden Gem" of great food in a cozy environment, Little Ferry is the spot. The sushi is super fresh, the rolls are delicious, and the appetizers are great. This is a great night out with your spouse, or good friends & family. I cannot say enough about Little Ferry. Check it out!
We ate a couple of different sushi plates. All of them were amazing. Fresh, and each has unique flavors. One was with beef instead of fish, and that one was my kid’s favorite. I suggest you go there. I will come again.
Visiting from out of state and stumbled on this small sushi restaurant hidden in a strip mall. Awesome experience! Super friendly staff, a great vibe and spectacular sushi! My wife and I ate our fill and loved every bite.

Stopped in for lunch while running errands in the area. Filled up quite quickly (even late on a Saturday afternoon) but it is a small place, however, must be well liked. The Good: 👍 Very reasonable prices 👍 Several good specials 👍 Attentive, friendly service. 👍 Family friendly menu. The FYI: 👉Small place, limited seating. 👉Limited liquor, just large Japanese Beers and Cold Sakes (and those are not cheap).

Great vibe. Busy prep area that fun to watch. Great place for sushi and conversation.
너무나 싱싱하고 맛있는집
Great sushi spot in Lake Forest. The combos are fairly priced and come with plenty of food. Would like to see a slightly bigger selection of rolls.
Pretty solid. The rolls were pretty good. The 10 piece sushi was pretty good although some of the pieces had rice that was a bit hard. Overall pretty good though and I’d order again.
Very noisy and quite small but excellent food and service. Limited beverage menu.
Little Ferry Sushi offers fresh, flavorful sushi with excellent presentation, making it a hidden gem for sushi lovers.
This place used to be a 5/5 for me. The first time I had it it was amazing. So fresh and the rolls had really nice, unique flavor combos. Very refreshing. And the more I ordered from here, the worse it got. It’s not bad by any means, but it’s just not as fresh or flavorful as it used to be. The mango tango roll is really good still. The workers are really nice but there was a waitress who seemed to forget a lot of things constantly. Otherwise the rest of the staff are really kind and attentive.
The restaurant is small, but the food is big in flavor. If you can't find a seat then I highly recommend you place your order on-line. I recommend the Romeo & Juliet roll, especially if you like a zesty if the lemon. The Golden Dragon roll is really good too.
This is a great *little* sushi place. We went on a Monday night and waited 30 mins to get seated and then another 30 to get served. It looked like they were swamped with to go orders. Sushi was yummy! Kids bento was perfect for my little one. Don’t know if we’ll go back, but we enjoyed the food.
Atmosphere: small strip mall located restaurant. Dark Asian tasteful themed decor. Service: Friendly and respectful especially to elder guests in our party. Food: ordered lunch combo with chicken karaage and California rolls, shrimp tempura, udon, and sushi combo. All food was fresh and well prepared. Would definitely go back.
So I came here very excited after seeing a video on Instagram. I will say the vibe was great, the details were beautiful, the service was great, the food was great also! The inside was small, pretty cozy distance to others but I didn’t mind. But I have to take a star off because of the portions. It was very small for the price and unfortunately I didn’t get full with 1 roll and a bento box. If the price was lower I’d understand or if the portions were larger.
I ordered the mango tango today and it was terrible, supper fishy and did not seem fresh.. so disappointed, considering we spent over $50.
Stopped by at 2:35pm with my family and was turned away, despite a 3pm closing time and customers still dining inside. No clear or reasonable explanation was given. The interaction felt uncomfortable and honestly raised concerns about how we were treated. The whole situation felt off and unwelcoming. Not a good experience.
The staff and management are extremely rude people, I went to pick up an order in this cold weather and they said the order was not ready, wait outside. Can you believe it, they make you wait outside in freezing weather?
Bad customer service and the place is tiny
Very slow
Rudest and most absurd customer service. Placed an Uber eats order and even though I was charged sales tax, they adjusted it themselves without authorization and charged me twice (see screenshot). When I called, they told me they were too busy and hung up. I called back and another employee picked up and told me the owner would not allow her to talk on the phone. You can’t just change the price to whatever you want after a customer has paid.
I have a newborn and they wouldn’t let him sit in a stroller. They said he can only sit in a high chair or lay on the booth. They are scared of lawsuits of someone hurting themselves on my stroller but they aren’t afraid of my baby rolling off the booth or through the high chair?
