Açaí Republic is hands-down the best açaí place in the OC and I’ve tried them all! I’m a major açaí lover :) this location is my favorite. The staff is always so friendly and it’s always so clean. Service is quick so it’s nice to make a quick stop during my beach walk. I highly recommend trying them if you haven’t done so!

Young guys running the place, yet they handle the volume of folks coming in off the beach quite well. The acai bowls were great. The empanadas were authentic, and the spinach one was exceptional.

We checked out this location for the first time yesterday and it was perfect! The place is super clean and nicely decorated, the food was amazing (we had authentic coxinhas, açaí and empanadas) and the service was top-notch! Vivi was so friendly, kind and receptive - just like a classic Brazilian hostess. We're already fans of Açaí Republic, but this spot was the best. We'll be back!

Indoor and outdoor seating plus chill music playing. easy ordering off a TV menu and watch the surfers on TV! a very welcoming place. great ingredients used plus lots of options for your bowl/smoothie and juices and some Brazilian pastries to choose from, too.

Acai shop right off Laguna Beach. The spot is very clean and the staff is very cordial and nice. Lots of different fresh fruit Acai options, with many different prefixed flavors too. My only gripe was the price and portion ratio. Our Medium was $12-$13 dollars and I just felt the portions was a tad underwhelming; I also paid up to get the whey protein powder.

How does this place have such a high score? I mean its conveniently located right across the street from the beach, but its not very good.I mean there is basically no service as you place your order on the screen which makes it annoying to customize. The acai base is not very good, very watery kind of frozen ice flavor, also taste like they add lemon, maybe as a preservative? The day I went they were out of berries, no blueberries or raspberries,and the fruits they did have were very tart not ripe at all. Overall it was just not very good, actually one of the worst I've had. The seating area is convenient, but that and location is pretty much all it has going for it. I was so disappointed. I didn't understand the high rating.
