Wonderful family owned restaurant off Cabot. Unassuming and friendly service. We ordered the turkey panini and tuna salad as well as short rib ravioli (not picture). All were very tasty and freshly made. The tuna salad was free from mayonnaise!!!

Best Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza I’ve ever had in the state of California - each bite was even better than the last, the cheese, the dough, the presentation - all perfect ! I was telling the owners, if I could leave 10 stars I would, but 5 will have to do lol. Best Pizza in town hands down. Highly Recommend ! Will definitely be back soon.

I had the best sandwich I've had in my 45 years of existence. A turkey sandwich. It was like tasting heaven. The bread tasted like straight from the oven. The toppings tasted like they were grown in the kitchen and cut as the sandwich was being made. I just don't know what to say and wanted to share. I took the sandwich to go, and called them to let them know how much I liked it. 😋🤤

So happy to find this place existing in the "franchise ocean" of Laguna Hills 🙏 Everything I tried so far was very tasty, homemade and extremely comforting. They use finely milled wheat flour for making pizza crusts and pasta, also known as "doppio zero flour" or "00 flour" 👌 Tomato sauce is so good and homemade as well, and their Tuscan Minestrone soup literally brought me back to my childhood. The service is amazing and the new owners, Michelle and Brett are truly wonderful, hardworking and welcoming hosts. Thank you for feeding me, and see you again soon! ❤️

It's a small spot so remember to be patient! The smallest kitchens make the best meals! The locals know about this spot so come early and sang all the take home items you can. You won't be disappointed! I'll say it again....it cost nothing to be kind. So eat up and enjoy!

I went in for lunch the other day and did enjoy my eggplant very much when I left. I went out without my purse. I am so impressed that the young lady that served me actually brought my purse to my house as she couldn’t find a phone number. This is very special treatment and this is a very special person. All I can say is thank you thank you thank you and I will be back to your restaurant

An absolute rarity to find an authentic Tavola Calda ristorante, with such a healthy driven menu! The food is divine, healing, and leaves you feeling like you just experienced Florence, italy!! Highly reccommend you try it!

My partner and I ate here for the first time. He had an Italian sandwich and I had a pizza. They were both incredibly good and the service was amazing. The family that owns the restaurant was there working and super friendly. They had home made desserts too that were equally as good as the food. We will definitely be coming back.

YUM!!!!!!!!! It was sooooooo busy but that just affirmed that the place is good! We did have a bit of a wait (party of 4) but again, after tasting the food, we understood the wait and popularity! We each got a different dish and shared, the portions are impressive. Every dish was tasty as hell! The waitress was a sweet gal and very bubbly, but we didn't have to ask for anything and she was quick with service. We may make this a new birthday tradition!

The short rib ravioli was a great surprise because I've never enjoyed ravioli but this was amazing with the butter sauce. The pizza is great because of the distinct crust.

Always get the turkey sandwich and turkey panini. I can say that everything in the sandwiches were carefully thought of - just so good. The pizza and short rib ravioli was good too, but the sandwiches is where it's at! Totally recommend 👌

I saw the reviews about this 15 year old bistro & decided we should celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary there. Michelle (owner) was lovely. The caprese salad, eggplant parmesan and short ribs ravioli were delicious. Bocelli was in the background too! We'll definitely be returning to try the paninis! Dianne & Bruce

The food was really delicious. I ordered the prosciutto panini with tomatoes and lettuce plus coffee. My friend ordered the short rib ravioli with butter sauce and it was really delicious and light. I highly recommend this place. The owner is the chef too, she was very nice. They also do catering.

Extremely nice people working here! Plenty of parking and a cute casual cafe style. I was very excited to try the lasagna (affordably priced for lunch) but found it to be so sweet (the sauce) that I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites. I also prefer my lasagna hotter and cooked fresh instead of reheated. The complementary garlic bread which came with it was good. Some people like sweet Italian marinara sauces but I’m not one of them. 😂 Not their fault.
