Great shrimp tacos and good taco Tuesday and Happy hour specials! Friendly service. Edited, last time the shrimp didn't taste that fresh so they made me a very good chicken taco instead. Still love the place with $2 Coronas and friendly fast service on Tuesday!

Amber and her staff are amazing! You can always count on fresh hot chips, delicious margaritas and cheerful service. It’s a go to for a classic cantina experience. They get packed sometimes as they have a huge local and loyal following but it’s worth the wait if you have to.

This is a place that you would never know existed if it weren't for the internet. I would not normally go into the shopping center where this is located, it just isn't in my normal drive. I found Amber's online after living in the area for quite some time. This place is really great and all the food we tried was delicious. The service was wonderful and they even give you actually large salsas on the table so that also won me over. Fajitas were good, nachos were good, soup was good, combination plate was good. I want to try more things! :)

Best Mexican food in Orange County hands down! Everything here is delicious, fresh, and authentic. Amber the owner is proof hard work pays off and her thriving small business is proof. Laguna Niguel is home to the most bombastic Mexican food in the world. I’m a world traveler and I still haven’t found anything better. Good food with fair prices. Our waitress was also the bartender (double duty). She was attentive to our requests and very pleasant. The restaurant is small and was full of customers enjoying dinner and conversations. Easy parking.

Great Service and the atmosphere was wonderful. Food was good but I am visiting from Texas. We put a little more seasoning in our food. But I will definitely visit again.

The Durango enchiladas featured the obligatory bland Mexican rice and refried beans surrounding two chicken enchiladas hidden beneath a flood of salsa and melted cheese and topped with a medley of diced tomatoes, onions, herbs, and sliced avocado. The service was good, but a bit rushed since they had a full house. Best to go to dinner early on taco Tuesdays.

I can’t recommend this restaurant. We ordered the Caesar salad, chicken tacos, and churros to go. Upon arrival at our hotel, we opened our order to find a huge disappointment. 1. The chicken tacos were not tacos at all. They were enchiladas. 2. My “Caesar” salad - which the server noted was a little different from a traditional Caesar because it had a different sauce (and that was fine with me) - was not a Caesar at all. It had tomatoes and a few tortilla chips (in place of croutons). It looks more like a taco salad, which they also had on the menu... 3. The churros were tiny and had chocolate on them. I’m allergic to chocolate. There was no chocolate listed on the menu and the server never mentioned chocolate being offered or included. 4. No cutlery was provided. When I called the restaurant to note these issues, the response was “What do you want me to do?” I asked for a refund and the server said she would speak to a manager and call me back. Two days later, I’ve received no call back. Poor customer service. Can’t even speak on the food quality because we literally threw the order in the trash without tasting it and got lunch at our hotel. Will not return.

I am laguna Niguel native, born and raised and am now 32. I have been coming here since I was in high school (JSCHS/DH) and have not been here in many many years due to moving to Long Beach CA. I had the pleasure of spending time in Laguna Niguel with a special trainer of mone- one who is supporting my seal training for the e US Navy and was excited to bring him here. The two only servers had EXTREMELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially, the blonde one who has been here longer. (Ella- who clearly is not like the royal one- as royals know when they are in the presence of another as I am one too- a native one :) One- she brought us chips and salsa with no plates, and no napkins and we began to get salsa and chip crumbs all over the table and were eating in a mess. She does not ever come back to check on us, so I don’t even have the ability to ask her for plates so we are not eating in a mess. I can see her from afar with her back faced towards me standing near the bar. I am not going to yell across a restaurant, to ask for service that SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE GIVEN. I felt extreme disrespected by her through out our entire time there. When she brought us our food, she set everything down and with in seconds starts to run away so I can’t ask her for anything! Like she does not want to do any work! But I’ll make sure I ask her when she gets back and I do- but it’s unacceptable that I have to wait this long to ask, or even ask at all- as these should be a given- and SHE SHOULD BE ASKING ME IF I NEED ANY OF THESE THINGS OR ANYTHING AT ALL- as this is part of being a waitress. If someone does not want to perform the duties of their job roll- they should not be working as one- as they are representing YOUR BRAND and making you look bad, and now preventing future service from myself and fellow future clientele. Ella was extremely rude to my lovely friend, and it ruined the time of our experience there. Whoever is training these individuals- needs to enforce CUSTOMER SERVICE, too all races, colors, ethnicity background etc. We won’t be returning, so Ella was great at preventing you from receiving future business from a huge circle of us forces, law enforcement and emergency services.
