To be honest I have not been in the restaurant but my wife says it's beautiful so I'm giving five stars. We ordered Goat Tikka Masala, Tandoori Lollipops channa masala and Chicken Korma all was spot on this time and was delicious. The last time we mistakenly ordered spicy food and it was intolerable so beware! Mild to medium was amazing. Naan was delicious. Chocolate naan? Think giant chocolate chip cookie.... Delicious! Definitely strongly recommend!

Great meal and great experience. The staff is very kind and the food is very authentic and flavorful. The color and flavor of this saag paneer is some of the best I’ve had. I highly recommend this place.

As vegetarians, finding great places to eat can be a challenge, but this Indian restaurant was an absolute life-saver! We ordered Veg Manchurian, Tadka Saag amd hakka noodles. Salt was little less however, The food was exceptional, bursting with flavor and authenticity. Portion/quantity was generous. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. We stayed in Lake Placid for two days, and we made sure to come here both days because it was just that good. We’re already looking forward to returning on our next visit!

We saw all the good reviews and had to try this spot out. We walk in and it's absolutely gorgeous, Clean, comfy seating, and such a friendly and nice staff. We ordered veg pakora as an appetizer and tandoori chicken lollipops and kadhai panner, Goat curry, veg korma as the main course along with Garlic Naans and all the dishes was absolutely delicious and the portion was sufficient for all 6 of us .They even gave us Double ka metha as complementary and we ended the meal with masala tea and we are very happy and satisfied. I can say It is one of the best restaurants in NY. Happy Halloween in advanced . Will recommend to my friends and family and We'll be back.......

Goat Korma, lamb Rogan Josh. okra masala dish, tadka saag spinach dish, and eggplant masala dish and the spicy sambal. Wow! What a gem to be found in Lake Placid. The robot serving tray is a cute novelty as well. Ambience, decor and service were superb.

We were very happy to find an Indian restaurant in Lake Placid. The ambience, food and service was great. We tried the chicken lollipop, chicken kadhai, garlic naan and mango lassi, everything eas delicious.

Amazing meal at this restaurant. The decor is perfect, the staff all very helpful, attentive and friendly. I have been to many Indian restaurants, and this was one of the tastiest Indian food I’ve had. The flavours and textures were all individual, the food cooked freshly, naan was the fluffiest and freshest I’ve tasted. Such a gem in Lake Placid, hope more people travel the short distance from the main town to eat here, it’s so worth it. Thank you for a great feast.

Every bite was bursting with flavors that danced in your mouth! The aromatic dishes we had were deep in flavors that matched their exquisite presentation. The food was fresh and not ladened with filler ingredients. The sleek, warm ambience of the place made it an inviting place to dine along with impeccable service. I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in my life and, Indian Grill, was by far one of the best. I tried a few of the other restaurants in picturesque Lake Placid, but none came close to the quality dining experience at Indian Grill. I ate there twice during my almost week long stay in Lake Placid. You know what I should've done? Eaten there every day.

Had a fantastic experience here! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, but what really stood out was the outstanding service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. A special shoutout for the thoughtful gesture at the end—we were confused between ordering the brownie with ice cream and shahi tukra, and finally went with the brownie. To our surprise, the staff brought out a complimentary serving of shahi tukra just so we could try both. It’s rare to find that kind of generosity and attention to guest experience. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!

While we have found reviews of other restaurants in the area to not hold true, this restaurant blew us away. The food was delicious & spiced well. The service & attention to detail when it came to the customers experience made us feel like royalty. From the papadam on the table to start, to the gold settings and delivery robot, to the warm towelettes & candied fennel at end the meal, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.

I've dined here several times because the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. I would say it’s one of the most elegant restaurants in the area. I’ve also ordered food for pickup, and the portions (whether dining in or for takeout) are very generous. I haven’t tried many on the menu yet, but I loved what I did try: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, and Chicken/Shrimp Curry. The Naan is also incredible. The drinks they offer are absolutely on point. I was able to customize the spice level to my liking, and although they don’t specify, they do provide a side of rice with their dishes. For those who appreciate great ambiance, delicious food, and excellent value, this place is definitely worth visiting. I’m a huge fan of spices, and the flavors here suited me perfectly. To top it off, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and even the process of receiving the food was enjoyable. This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had during my stay in the area, and I would definitely visit again.

Loved the food there, and the atmosphere and service was amazing. It certainly was a premium experience. The chef was really nice, he cooked delicious food and he made us a special dessert. Definitely one of the best indian food I have had in upstate new York area. Looking forward to visiting again in our next visit to Lake Placid.

The parking was easy. The restaurant is very well designed. Everything looks fancy. They also have a plates delivering robot which is entertaining for my kids to look at. The food is delicious. Don't let the sizes of dishes fool you. We all felt so full before the last dish came. It's yummy and surprisingly filling. The people who worked there were very nice. I'd say that this is a place to enjoy food. (We didn't know what to order and asked for suggestions and the suggestion was well received) If you need food right away, I'd suggest to save this for a more relaxed time

We dined at Heritage Indian Grill in Lake Placid and had a mixed experience. The service was quite slow, which made the meal feel longer than expected. We started with the Hot & Sour Soup, but it tasted very different from what we’re used to in India — extremely spicy and not quite the flavor we were hoping for. On the plus side, the main dishes were generally good. The flavors were authentic and satisfying overall, but the Dal Tadka was underwhelming and didn’t really stand out. While the food had its highlights, the overall experience could be improved with better service and more consistency in flavor.
