Really nice place, totally relaxed atmosphere. I had biscuits and gravy and it was as expected. Usual small diner biscuits and gravy - which in my opinion could be much better. But when making it in large batches it's a bit trickier. So over all, I'd say that they are 4 to 4 and half stars on the food, but for service easily a 5, same with the atmosphere. If you find yourself in Lakeport it is definitely worth stopping for.

Been eating here for years. Burger so large I can never finish the whole thing! Greatest salad on the lake. Really awesome service. Clean. My favorite for comfort food. Did I say family-friendly prices?

Simple diner with lovely staff and great food! Their breakfast is my favorite but recently I tried one of their burgers and was not disappointed! Some things are pricy, like the $4 to upgrade to seasoned, curly, or sweet potato fries but otherwise Renee’s is my favorite in town and I think for the price it’s better than other similar places.

Great food and great atmosphere! This place never fails for a quick bite on the run, or spending a relaxing weekend with the family. Their shakes here are awesome with a variety of flavors! You can choose to eat inside with comfort or outside under their covered areas, which are great for groups or enjoying the summer weather. This place is walking distance from the new Lakeport Park, the marina or downtown shopping. Limited parking space with some street side parking.

I have been coming to Renee's Cafe since long before I started doing reviews. And I have always loved my experience. Hold on while I take my first bite...mmmm ok much better now. This is mine and my family's #1 go to here in Lakeport CA, we love it here. So this time I went with the original review/rate dish for restaurants that serve burgers. The mushroom swiss. I added BBQ sauce this time and it's off the chain!!!!!... Ok bite break!!!!... Mmmmmmm!!!!! And the Carmel butterscotch shake . 15 shake flavors. And a tall glass of cold milk. And a stack of napkins ... My food came fast and my waitress is a hottie with a great friendly personality . When in Lakeport come eat at Renee's Cafe... Hands down best in town!!!!

Classic breakfast and diner food. The service was fantastic and the staff is really friendly. I got the French dip and macaroni salad. I don’t usually like Mac salad but this one was good.

Ate outside under the Gazebo and the beautiful Birdbath Garden! Ordered the Western Burger and Rancho Burger with Peaches and Cottage Cheese! Delicious! Wanted something different. Also the shakes are homemade and delicious!

Basic truck stop fare. If you're hungry and want a step or two above drive thru, served with grace and a smile, this is your kinda place. I got a mushroom and Swiss burger with a side of and some teriyaki. Big stack of fries and I only finished half my burger. I advise asking for extra napkins because the there's so much fixins on the burger it's gonna drip thru your fingers like a juicy burger should. Only there about a half hour and the waitress must have asked if I needed anything more at least three times. Hint if you like ice cream the banana split should be shared. I gave it my best and left half to the buzzards (joke people). I will be back.

Came here for breakfast this morning . Everything was great , I got 2 eggs hash , hash browns and white toast . Waitress and staff were very friendly . Definitely worth it .

Happen to be in Lakeport on blazing hot day so we want some treat to cool us down. This place offer yummy ice cream and shake with cozy dining room with local painting that you can buy. Also they have outside front and back open area to chill out. Nice staff reasonable price.

Undercooked hashbrowns, dehydrated sausage patties, overcooked eggs, toast hardly buttered. They got my order wrong, left the potatoes and eggs under a heat lamp. Wish I would have sent back and put up a fuss. Coffee is good.
