Wow by far one of the best place in the AV for Sushi. Sato sushi taste so fresh and what I loved is there mix in rolls also very surprised to see cilantro on their rolls but let me tell you it was delicious. I will be coming back for sure and best believe I will tell my friends about Sato sushi. Customer service was excellent and we arrived late at around 8:45 pm and the waitress was kind and tentative to our questions and also willing to help with selections would definitely come back and spend another $220 dollars anytime well worth my money! This place is till the best out here I keep coming back for more!! Love it!

So I have a feeling our dining experience was out of the ordinary and I say this only because the people I went with had been there several times before. Dinner was great however it seemed like the dine-in patrons ( or just us)were put on the back burner for take out patrons.. Dinner was DELICIOUS,I would totally go again but if you made me wait over an hour & 15 minutes for my sushi when we were clearly just forgotten about or the waitress lost our ticket.. I might talk some s***..

Visited this place for the first time for take out and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the flavorful rolls. I will definitely be back for the eel , tempura shrimp, and spicy tuna rolls. Revisited for dine in yesterday 7/14/21 The rolls were exceptional but the service surpassed our expectations. We had three females that continously came to our table to see if we were good. Noemi,Gladis and Yaeli ( please forgive me if spelling is incorrect) were very attentive, very polite, and personable. They made us feel at home and we will definitely dine in from now on. Thank you.

Sushi is delicious, the dinner combination selection is great! We brought in a homemade cake and they served it after dinner. We were celebrating my son's birthday. They also gave him his free dessert for his birthday. They have excellent service

What an amazing experience! The service here was outstanding—friendly and professional. The menu had so many great options, but I opted for the seafood paella, which was bursting with flavor and had the perfect balance of spices. The ambiance was laid-back yet stylish, with a stunning view of the water. The entire evening felt like a mini-vacation. Highly recommend for any seafood lover!

The lobster Dynamite roll is my go to fave and baked mussels, the plum wine was also good is what I had sitting in the restaurant, after my meal I did order some things to take home, the only thing is I wished there was more vegetables in the mix tempura, don't get me wrong it was good just 6 or 7 pieces of mix tempura was a little pricey for that much..

It is okay place to eat sometimes. I ordered a Chirashi bowl, however, what the chef gave me wasn’t a Chirashi bowl, it was a Poke bowl. The fish was ok, but not excellent. The atmosphere is friendly. It is definitely not a fancy place to eat, but just regular place to have sometimes sushi.

Right when we walked in we were told where to sit, but what was surprising is that we were waiting for about 10 minutes just to get a menu. Every single restaurant we've been to gives us a menu as soon as we sit down. This restaurant is the first that took a long time for the menu. The forks that were given were not washed properly, you can still see and feel the food on it, at the same time it was still wet. The cream cheese gyoza and the crunchy dragon sushi was lacking flavor. Then to top it off the chicken teriyaki dish i got was way too salty, the rice and the chicken was literally drowning in teriyaki sauce. I added a picture of the chicken drowning in teriyaki sauce, unfortunately its not really showing the actual details of how it really looks. I had to eat some of my husband's white rice to eat the chicken with since the rice in my bowl was drowning in teriyaki. The bulgogi my husband ordered was salty. The waiter was nice so that's why I gave 2 stars, otherwise i wouldve given 0 if i could. We were super hungry for dinner then to get food like that was very disappointing. Want to taste good legit sushi go to areas such as Santa Clarita, glendale, burbank, San Fernando Valley, LA.

Idk if covid affected staff here but i didnt have the best experience. I asked for a plate pictured under their restaurant reviews on google from 2 years ago... they couldn’t do it. Maybe their menu changed or owner changed idk. You see how dirty the spoon is, all that grime stuck in the crevice of the spoon, pretty gross. Presentation of food was strange. They use soup bowls for sashimi, not very appealing. It took 45 mins for me to get my food which didn’t require cooking so I’m not sure why the long wait, it was 1 order of sashimi, not the freshest looking fish let me tell you. They have 1 waitress trying to manage all tables and she seemed overwhelmed. The price was high for the food Quality and portion. If you’re reading this review... go elsewhere.

Don't try to order take out from here you can hardly ever get through because they one have one phone line. Worst for take out from any restaurant anywhere

Drove 40+ mins for terrible sushi and service. Walked in at 7:50 on a Saturday, ordered at around 8:05 and didn’t see or appetizer till around 8:40 all the while watching a table that had showed up after us, order after us, and with more people get their food, eat, and pay and leave all in the time it took to get our first sushi roll. We ordered 3 deep fried rolls and 1 normal roll……. The deep fried rolls were colder than the normal roll. Also we were missing a role. The rolls didn’t taste like anything. I thought I had caught covid and my tastebuds were shot. Our waitress was extremely rude. She never checked in on us even when we were waiting 30+ mins for the appetizer. It was like she was avoiding us the whole time we were there. And when we finally got the chance to ask her about our missing roll she walked away and never came back to tell us what was going on with it. After waiting another 10 mins we just decided it wasn’t worth it anymore and got up to pay. Would not recommend going here there’s plenty of other sushi places in the AV that at least at like they care.

Don’t go here if you’re trying to go get your food right and on time and you want it to be professional. This place is a joke. Not only did I wait for an hour when they told me to wait 30 minutes for my food, the cooks preparing my food are just messing around not paying attention to what they are doing. They don’t take anything serious. On top of that, when I finally got “my food” the hostess gave me somebody else’s food and she didn’t even notice. I went back and she clearly didn’t notice me standing in line until I said hey you keep calling my phone. I brought back the food. It’s until then that she noticed me. All while a couple in front of me was waiting to be seated and she’s on the phone trying to fix their mistake. First and last time. Never going back

My girlfriend and I went to get sushi at Sato for the first time and we had a terrible waitress who couldn’t recommend me food because she’s not a sushi person and I had to beg for a good or popular recommendation. She still had no good recommendation. She was quite overall so I just ordered a roll I didn’t know I would like. Overall we canceled the entire order because we didn’t feel comfortable with ordering and we got the impression it wouldn’t be that good since she had not liked sushi that much. There wasn’t any other option for another waitress.

We came in a group of of 4 and this place was so hot I asked the waiter what’s going on with the ac and she said the owner won’t turn down the thermostat . There no way this owner is open for dine in and doesn’t have the thermostat lower then 80 degrees . Completely unacceptable!
