⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Local Gem on Fletcher Avenue If you’re looking for authentic, family-owned Italian food near the university, Pizzeria Famiglia is a must-visit. The pizza is absolutely outstanding—true New York–style with great cheese, a perfectly crisp crust, and incredible flavor in every bite. We also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and a chicken cheesesteak, and both were just as impressive—fresh, hearty, and clearly made with care. Just when we thought the meal couldn’t get any better, Sal—the owner—surprised us with dessert, and wow. The red velvet cake was one of the best I’ve had in a long time: moist, rich, and literally melted in your mouth. The cheesecake was equally excellent—perfectly chilled, smooth, and delicious. Huge kudos to Sal and his family for creating such a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Amazing food, friendly atmosphere, and that true family touch that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended! 🍕🍰
Famiglia has taken care of our pizza needs for the past few years. Every single time it is delicious, on time, and to order. This time around, they went above and beyond. My partner and I are getting married soon and we requested a heart shaped pizza for our last non-married Valentine’s Day. In the note we left for the order, we put that we completely understand if they can’t do it, but they did it anyways. Their team is super generous and they were happy to make our order. Thank you so much for making our day. We love Famiglia Pizza!

As a foodie, I love family owned restaurants and this is no exception! It has outstanding service, clean restroom, clean floors and I passed by the kitchen after the lunch rush hour and it was clean. Eddie is the chef and he was really humble about the complements I gave him in person. I had the calzone with Italian sausage, white sauce, and mozzarella. Let me tell you about that cheese! It was the freshest and most tasteful cheese I have tasted. My wife had the buffalo wings, I did not take a photo because they were so good she devoured them in no time. The staff very friendly and were mindfull about my baby girl if she needed something else. Thank you for your 14 years of being open and giving and excellent service! It shows you are doing something right and have dedication to your coustomers.
AMAZING LOCAL FIND! I don't usually eat pizza crust but this stuff was so delicious I couldn't stop myself. And the prices were ridiculously cheap. You can get a slice of pizza and a sofa for under $3 or a slice and a beer for $4! Can't speak about any difficulties on the phone or with delivery since I came in person but anyplace will get a bad employee occasionally but I'd be happy to ignore that for the high quality, quantity, and low prices of pizza here. I imagine the prices are going to start going up once people start finding out how good this pizza is and they get busier. But even if the prices were double, they'd be about the same price as the competition and. it's the best pizza I've had in there area.

I came here tonight I've never been here but I had to tell you I'm a purebred Italian and I love my pasta this was actually really good pasta so thank you guys really good excellent service very small place but amazing

Pizza famiglia is one of my absolute favorites whenever I come to visit my mom in Tampa Florida. The slices are flavorful and the closest too New York Style pizza I will ever tase outside of New York. This restaurant will never disappoint totally recommend.
Pizza is great the owner even called me because I made a mistake ordering online I forgot to put cheese the owner called made sure that I did want cheese and put it on for free great pizza great service will definitely come back for more.

I absolutely love the lasagna here and the garlic bread that comes with it. Their marinara sauce has such a unique but delicious flavor it’ll make you finish the entire dish. (On a side note: Make sure to dip your garlic bread in that marinara, you won’t regret it.) This is the second time I come and they did not disappoint. Staff is sweet, place is clean, I love their outdoor area, and overall a great experience. 100% recommend. Thank you for the delicious food!!
I found the customer service was great and restaurant itself was clean. I did a carry out order. I have to be honest and say that the pizza was not the best. It’s kind of middle ground. Not thick crust but definitely not thin and crispy. There was nothing special about the sauce. It was just slightly above school lunch pizza. I spent $50+ on 2 large pizzas with 4 toppings each and a medium plain cheese with a 2 liter soda
Yes it’s not the nicest looking pizza place but the food is good pizza is good, will I come here again probably not. Garlic knots were good. Nothing amazing
Honestly? Worst pizza ever tried. I’m not picky ordered 60$ worth of food tipped well opened it up to a burnt.. not even well done.. (which I never asked for) we all tried a slice and ordered food from sumwhere else. The pasta tasted like sloppy plastic with no texture. Potato salad was great tho. won’t be ordering here just stick to New York New York pizza if your visiting the area.
The pizza was so bad. Pizza tasted like tap water, cardboard and the worst frozen pizza you’ve ever eaten. We got appetizers that were fine but we would never go back here. Went right in the trash.
I'm officially done with this place!! you have officially lost a loyal customer!!! They gave my pizza to the wrong guy and he almost left with it and I think he almost touches it. They didn't even bother to refund me or make a new one. I'm done!!
Ordered 4 large pies on 12/21/25 for a Christmas party. I bragged about this place because I’ve bought pizza from here before. It used to be delicious. Not tonight. Pizza was dry as cardboard and had no taste. Pies were definitely not made fresh. Must have been sitting around the whole day. Sadly this will be the last time they get my business.
Honestly, disappointed in the lack of customer service. I usually order with the wife and have no issues. I've probably been ordering from here for like 5 yrs now. I always order the same thing, I have never ordered anything else. Ordered today, did not receive what I stated. Called back to inform the guy that took the order and was immediately met with defense and him telling me that I'm wrong. This could have been so simple, a simple acknowledgement of an error but instead ended up going back and forth with what I know I said. I see now the type of people they are and it's sad. I used to tell everyone about this place. This review is for me cause I know they do not care.
The worst pizza I’ve had in a very long time Sunday evening I attempted this location it looked really nice with patio outdoor dining I noticed cheese pizza looked a bit old on display so i decided to order pepperoni in hopes to get some what fresh slice when I tell you the gentleman obviously threw pepperonis on an old cold cheese slice they were falling off the pizza, more like cold cheese bread hardly any sauce on it either I will never go back i found it so disappointing and disrespectful I could not go another day without sharing my experience
