Found this place on TripAdvisor. We were the only ones there for lunch on Friday. The wine selection was impressive. We ordered almost all the appetizers despite being a party of four. The food has a lot of room for improvement. The dishes lack a bit of character. The desserts are homemade, including the ice cream, so I gave them a 4; otherwise, I would have given them a 3. The tagliolini with sausage were very dry, although tagliolini tend to dry out. The service was perfect, attentive, and the atmosphere overall was lovely.

For work I frequently dine out and I only review a place after returning several times, having said this: The venue is elegant and refined and is ideal for formal business dinners but also for an evening in good company, allowing conviviality but also tranquility. I have no doubts about the quality of the dishes offered, this is a corner of Savona with the characteristic dishes and high quality found in lower Piedmont. The wine list is truly extensive enough to be a book but, when needed, I let myself be advised and the competence and courtesy of the dining room staff has never disappointed me. The "chef" (or simply "cook" as he likes to be called) pops out every now and then to greet and chat with the diners. The average price, from 50 to 70 euros, is higher than the average of the places in the area and is worth every penny. I recommend it for a dinner in Savona where you want to avoid fish dishes and where a certain elegance is required, particular attention to the guests or simply for a nice evening with your partner.

We always love returning to this charming restaurant, a slice of Piedmont in the Savona marina. Traditional menu with a few more unique offerings, excellent wine list. The service is courteous and efficient. In particular, this evening they literally "moved" our table, originally located at the entrance, to the center of the room... an uncommon kindness... chapeau. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of the best restaurants I've ever been to! Impeccable service, a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere! The food was a riot of deliciousness, from appetizers to dessert! What a discovery! I think one of the best meals I've ever had. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and attentive; the chef even came to our table a couple of times; the quality of the food was exceptional. We ordered the tagliolini with white truffle (very delicate), the tagliata in a breadstick crust (fabulous), and a panna cotta and a bunet to finish. The wine list was excellent; we paired our meal with an excellent Nebbiolo. The restaurant is welcoming and tastefully decorated. Well done!

The best choice for a meat-based dinner (or lunch) in the province. Truly well-designed, elegant, and delicious dishes. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can clearly sense the hard work, professionalism, and passion behind every dish. The service is attentive and professional. The wine list offers endless choices... Piedmont reigns supreme, but there are great options of all kinds, including plenty of Champagne. How could I not mention Sergio, a delightful person who always goes the extra mile to ensure we have a wonderful time at his restaurant? I could rave about La Granda for hours, but I'll simply say it's an ABSOLUTE MUST TRY! Gabri and Vale.

A little gem ! That says it all ! A great selection of wines , lovely dishes , soft atmosphere and excellent service . A special mention for the attention and time that the waiter took to translate into english some of the things we did not understand on the menu . And last but not least ...the Violet panacotta !!!! Ambiente moderno e confortevole. Cucina prevalentemente piemontese con leggera rivisitazione. Comunque il menù è molto diversificato e presenta occasionalmente anche pesce. Personale professionale e attento, cantina fornita e con buone etichette. Torneremo.

Son rimasto deluso dal servizio lentissimo, la cameriera che ci serviva non ci calcolava minimamente, é passato un sacco di tempo dopo l’ordine e poi tra una portata e l’altra. deluso anche dall’antipasto piemontese: mi aspettavo almeno o un po’ di carne cruda o un po’ di vitello tonnato, invece c’erano un misero uovo ripieno, una fettina di peperone con acciuga, due fettine fini fini di lingua ed un po’ di giardiniera…18€, di certo non l’antipasto piemontese classico che uno si aspetta e che si mangia in Piemonte.

A bad experience; perhaps we were there on an unlucky night, as neighboring tables also complained and were surprised by the positive reviews they'd seen online. The prices are too high; we spent €90 for two (appetizer, first course, wine, and water)... for the quality of the dishes, I would have spent €60 maximum. An experience I wouldn't want to repeat, and we left very disappointed. The downsides were many: 1. Difficult to find, incorrect location on Google, and no clearly visible sign. (You have to go up the stairs near Generali) 2. They offered us a choice between inside or outside, but as soon as we sat down, they made us get up because we had a reservation... too bad it was always empty. The entire restaurant had so many empty tables for a Saturday night. 3. The menu didn't have prices for women... it's 2022, and it's inconvenient to have to use a menu, even when two people are cluttered. 4. Half an hour waiting for the wine list, which is actually a huge book with more American wines than Ligurian ones... 5. The appetizers were average, the Fassone steak tartare was already seasoned and full of oil (as seen in the photo). 6. The rump had terrible breading, and the tajarin were dry, as if they were made the day before. Both dishes are typical of a lower-middle-range trattoria, not a restaurant that sets itself up for high prices. 7. The service tries to be that of a "high-end" restaurant, but unfortunately there were several lapses in attention, such as the bread that was offered and never arrived. Too many times we asked how the food was and how it was, almost intrusive.

Esperienza purtroppo deludente. Le aspettative erano alte, ma il servizio si è rivelato poco attento al cliente. Il personale poco socievole molto riservato. Anche la qualità complessiva non giustifica il prezzo pagato. Mi dispiace lasciare una recensione negativa, ma credo sia importante segnalare questi aspetti affinché possano migliorare in futuro. Al momento non mi sento di consigliare questo posto.
