Hidden gem in the commons. Why even get food from CDS anymore? They’ll fill your box up unlike One World, half of what they give you here for around the same price. What I got here is like $12. And the food is pretty decent. Here’s how you save money.
If you want to eat much, definitely a place to visit. A little bit of salty but overally nice.

ITS SO YUM AND SL MYCHH
It's not the best food but its cheap and fast and on North Campus that should count for a lot. I can get this faster than a coffee between classes. I eat here more than I'd like to admit.
I Really Enjoyed the Coconut shrimp/Chicken and Lowmein Dish! And it Is also Super Affordable with Good Portions& You do Not Need Wait Long.
I'm writing because I got the Mapo Tofu there for the first time in a long time and they have changed the recipe to one I like better. Now it's spicier, meatless (afaict) That aside, it is basically what you expect from a cafeteria style Chinese restaurant. 12 items you can pair with rice or noodles, 11 bucks.
Lovely workers, tasty food, big great portions. I love this place. All at an affordable price.

The taste is above meh grade but for the money can't complain. My appetite is below normal but the $7.50 combo easily lasts me two meals, and I think it's their most popular offering. Choice between fried rice, lo Mein and plain rice, the lo mein is probably the most filling but their fried rice is also really tasty. Not a fan of the General Tsos, it's a little too chewy for my taste but most of the other meat offerings are pretty good. Unlimited soy sauce, duck sauce, hot sauce packets!

Portions are enough for two meals and worth your money but the food is alright
The food was okay, nothing too crazy and it’s not horrible. There’s a variety of selection of dishes to choose from, including different types of meat and vegetables. Drinks options are also plenty. For a 3 dish meal it was around 14 dollars which is on the higher side. One dish I didn’t like was the crispy pork belly. Way too chewy and tough to eat.
Decent Chinese food at a very good price for amount of food. They have the food in trays and they serve you what you want. The lunch combo is very reasonably priced just above 10 dollars for a lot of food. The food is sometimes hit or miss though with some days the food being not that great.
This is definitely one of the best meals that UB students can get - extremely reasonable amount of food for the price. I'm a big fan of their sesame chicken! The only downside here is that it can get extremely busy during lunchtime.
I personally just love this place! Good taste, very reasonably priced and quantity is great, you can have a 2in1 combo and skip your next meal! :P

If you're starving and looking for a place to eat on campus, this place offers the best bang for your buck. That said, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I wasn't on campus. Their lunch special comes out to $11 and change, for a similar amount of food that you get in a lunch special at other Chinese places. The food quality is okay. Nothing fantastic, nothing terrible. There are a few more authentic options that are less commonly found in Chinese take-out restaurants, such as Mapo Tofu. The quality of these though are a bit disappointing; they don't really compare to how it would really be made authentically.
Food is not bad but one of the lady server is so stingy she gives very little portions. Like lady just give me that extra 2 piece of chicken.

In the last week the serving size was cut in half. Food is still great, but the price shot up coupled with a reduction in size makes the value too low.

Expensive and low quality. They do however give gigantic proportions. One meal can easily feed two. If you're at UB and need some Chinese then its close. Other than that you should go to another place that will be either cheaper or much better quality.

they are so stingy with giving you food. this is like another chipotle burrito bowl. their portions keep going down every single time I go.
The food was dry and tasted as if it had been sitting out all day, the price was fine but at what cost.
The worst place to eat among the many places in commons, the beef is hard to bite, the chicken and ribs have an odd smell, and the chow mein is always burned. The portions of food are also very little. No wonder why there is always few people there. If you don't believe me, you'll know when you try it yourself.
Something changed here. The girl that is up front is rude because she doesn't even know a bit of English and gets mad when you try to talk to her like it's your fault. Been going for 15 years. Always average. Last week it honestly tasted like the beef was rotten. I had to spit it out. Just saying, it's changed.
