I've came here a couple times through drive-thru and the employees are very nice. They always work so hard and are always multi-tasking. The drinks are always done right I have never had an issue nor had a complaint. Be kind to workers and you should get the same treatment!!!
This place is so beautifully done , me and my friend couldn't help but say it was sexy xD!! With beautiful be furniture and jazzy sexy music for this setting. The staff were awesome and very calm. And the bathroom was fair . Enjoyed y your time!. The window are also perfect 👌
The staff at the location are some of the best in customer service and getting a placed correctly and the drive through area some of the best . When you have a location that looks small from the outside when you walkin it's much larger in size with great features and large art wall. Customer friendly they have been the best if the drink is make one that you had ordered courtesy and team work makes it a great location . Located near other stores and for those that great hamburgers is In and Out burger with Starbucks you have great lunch location . Starbucks you can go and have warm coffee or the best baked goods with great coffee or a nice cappuccino . As a reviewer that I have seen many this one location is one of the best even where you can check your lap top .
It was getting close to closing time and I needed some caffeine for the road. The outside lights had already been turned off but I saw another car take the gamble at going through the drive thru so I decided that 'there's strength in numbers', I may as well pull in behind said car and hope for the best. They actually took both of our orders, had great attitudes about it, got every detail of the special order correct ... and we drove away very grateful. Thank you team SDbux! Keep up the great work!
Neavah , I apologize if I spell her name wrong. Her service was amazing, she welcomed us when we walked in and very pleasant when she was taking our orders. She truly has a Starbucks sprit. God bless you!
I’ve had my fair share of Starbucks drinks throughout my life. I have been to plenty of Starbucks locations everywhere, however, this one in particular really stood out to me. Obviously I’m used to the great hospitality that starbucks everywhere has to offer but the guy that took my order (Domenic I think was his name. He was a padres fan!) was so awesome. Rather than giving me the typical “hi how are you” treatment, he was fun and matched my energy which is rare to find! I had ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso (something I’ve never had) and I didn’t really like it. So the baristas made me another one, which is something other Starbucks locations in the past have given me trouble with. 10/10 would come to this Starbucks again
Coming from an old Starbucks barista this store is worth visiting! Great staff that remember your name and drink. Also I've never had a problem with my coffee and haven't had to come back for a remake. Sometimes there's a wait. But it's Starbucks. If you wanna complain about the wait time make a mobile order.
Easily my favorite Starbucks because of 1) proximity to my house, 2) drive thru 3) access to the 94 freeway. Fast friendly service, and they'll make things right when service is less than fast. Just be aware that the In-and-Out line can sometimes make entering/exiting the shopping center a bit challenging.
Of course, I did go there with my friend who, after a long illness, was very well known at our Starbucks, who treat her like royalty. Her favorite drink, lovingly collected by her partner every day, had kept her going. I'm considered part of her entourage.
This is the best Starbucks! They're professional, fast, accurate, kind, I could go on. I'll see the line super long - and somehow I'm out of there in 5 minutes. I love the team that works here. They just never miss and they get through long lines so fast. Their customer service is unmatched. Their food and drinks are unmatched. Don't let the line intimidate you - it's because they're serving a large community and this team has it going on. I read a couple other reviews. I've been going to this location for years. It's because I never leave disappointed.

Nice new Starbucks... spacious... clean.. Manager is professional and conscientious. Note: The location is not the best (Funky area that needs a lot of TLC).. this Starbucks (one of two in this shopping mall) is a step up for the area on general. (4/2017)
4 stars for cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. I agree that this place is very busy, but they made their own parking area so that helps. The internet at this Starbucks is painfully slow so that factors into losing a star from me as that is important to a visit to me.
This is my everytime go-to place. Been my fav spot to sit and enjoy my Frappuccino (which i order most of the time). I just take a long walk to this place everytime i get chance. Plus their staffs are friendly and nice and their place is good as well. But this time it was kinda different because they don’t have indoor dining and I just had to take my coffee and walk on the road drinking it😅. I love this place and hope they’ll reopen their dine in.
I usually have a really good experience here. One time I had a bad experience where the staff member didn't want to split a drink into 2 cups, but I still go here often. It is a drive-thru Starbucks and it is right next to an In-N-Out drive-thru. Always expect many cars!!

This Starbucks is not it Waited 30 minutes in line just to order (drive-thru) , it happens. Location is always busy during the day and weekends, good luck getting out of the parking lot drive extra minutes and go to a different Starbucks.
I been meaning to leave a review for a year. The place is nice, the people are nice. But for whatever reason the drinks are always off. Not bad just not right. It always taste just a little bit off from literally every other Starbucks in the city. I can order something here with the same specifications I give any other place. And it's just different.
I really want to give 5 stars... it's turned into a grab and go location. All that wasted space. It's not the people, it's the company. Part of me understands, parking is insanely difficult here. Another part, those who are in foot might want to chill for a minute!

This Starbucks is one of the worse ones around. I come here because. It is the only one in my neighborhood. The employees working here have terrible attitudes. Not very friendly nor catering to their customers. It more about the quantity of customers served rather than the quality of the service. The facility is unorganized...messy...and the restrooms are dirty. Don't order cold brew here...they just simply can't get it right. It always too light and watered down and tastes awful. The employees here needs serious coaching and to be re trained when it comes to customer service. This place give Starbucks a really bad reputation!
Used to come here a lot, good service and friendly staff. Seating area and all, however we came in for a coffee and surprise no chairs, no restrooms. What's going on with Starbucks lately? I gave them two stars due to their coffees still being good.
The last 2 times we have had issues with incorrect drinks. On Thursday My daughter got wrong size she then went inside and she was the 4th order that she knows of that was made wrong. The Mgr told the employees to stop what they are doing at look at het she then told them u need to pay attention this is unacceptable today the guy handed me a competly wrong drink I handed back and let hime know this was not mine to which he pleasantly replied sorry I saw a drink and grabbed it he then retreived my drink which was to have 2 blonde expresso shots . Got home took a drink they did not use the blond expresso. U would think with mobile order they would get it right. Almost thinking might be a sign to stop going to starbucks.
Overall I have to say, I was ultimately disappointed. The very polite young man that took my order, had gotten the order wrong. When I noticed it, he was kind enough to fully refund one of my two drinks. I was especially happy about that. However, once I got my drinks and drove away, I noticed that BOTH drinks were missing the key ingredient of caramel. How does Starbucks serve "Caramel Apple Spice", without adding any caramel??? I was surprised by this since I would have left resoundingly pleasant feedback for the refund mentioned earlier. Of course, I will continue shopping at Starbucks; but highly encourage Starbucks to more thoroughly train and vet its employees on being thorough. We, the public, expect better from Starbucks; for our $3.00 to $4.00 beverages.
Nice location that is fairly new! Drive by is always busy so be patient. I'm not really a Starbucks fan but I receive gift cards so I go. I haven't found a Starbucks that will serve the Mocha HOT enough. Most of the time, its lukewarm, even though i Order + 140 degrees.
So many employees; very little help! This is maybe the only Starbucks that will make you wait at the counter for few minutes. ... while employees walk by you back-and-forth "patty will be there, she is getting something from the back" also every time I go there it seems like everyone is in a training again. If you're always in a rush like me, consider other locations.
Kind of annoying, me and my husband share one car so when he gets home late I want to get my drink for the next morning as he will have the car again all day. I leave as soon as I can and get there at 10:15, they close at 10:30. Pulling up to the window they say “we’re actually closed”. I understand it was close to closing but my drink is super simple and would’ve taken all but 3 mins at most. A genuine waste of gas and sucks that their hours don’t reflect what the closing crew feels. As someone who used to work there although it may be annoying we take certain orders up until closing and leave a register open and an oven on. Weird that this company lets their employees turn away money because they don’t feel like working.
As a seasoned Starbucks voyager, I’ve navigated countless coffee expeditions with the trusty mobile ordering compass guiding me. But on this fateful day, my journey into this particular Starbucks felt like stepping into an alternate universe where baristas were masters of the dramatic arts! I strolled in, phone in hand, ready to claim my caffeinated treasure with the confidence of someone who has done this a thousand times. Yet, my grand entrance was met with...silence. I half expected tumbleweeds to roll by as I stood there, ignored, unlike the other caffeine seekers who were welcomed like celebrities. My order status was clear: "ready," and yet, it felt as elusive as a mythical creature. Realizing my macchiato might need a search party, I bravely approached the counter. The barista gave me the kind of look reserved for surprise pop quizzes. I gave my name, and voilà, my order appeared. But alas, the cream cheese was MIA. I pointed this out, and with Oscar-worthy theatrics, the barista slumped her shoulders as if I’d just revealed a plot twist in her day. She retrieved the cream cheese, then asked to see the order sticker on the bag, implying that perhaps my bagel was trying to smuggle contraband. Just when I thought the saga was over, I requested a knife. Cue the dramatic sigh, suggesting I had asked for the secret of life itself. I typically enjoy having fun conversations with baristas and making sure they know they're appreciated, with tips that could fund a small island—$5 for just a drink, $7 to $10 for a drink and something to eat, and even more when ordering for a group. Even when they are busy and a bit short, I understand they're just in the rush-zone and always tip accordingly. But this experience was a first—I left without tipping, a rarity in my caffeine chronicles. Here’s hoping this tale brings about more smiles than slumps and sighs. As for me, I’ll be sipping my future lattes elsewhere, avoiding coffee drama (and quite possibly an acting class).
Didn't realize it until I took the cup outside but the lid was filthy and looked like it was dropped in mop water. The caramel macchiato was also unusually burnt. People working there were nice though.

Restrooms are closed for customers, how I supposed to wash my hand before eating my sandwich? Didn't the governor and the CDC recommend to wash your hands? Such idiocy! At the same time, 6 people were sitting at the table without masks and drinking coffee, with me two of them went to the restroom
I would have given this location a 5star but the experience with the outside drive thru barista Lily today 11-11-23 was atrocious! I placed a mobile drive thru order at 11:53am and got in line at 11:57am, now keep in mind the line has over 10 people before me. Lily or Liliana comes to take my order and I tell her I did a mobile order and she then rudely says WHAT, in my mind I'm like wow how couldn't she hear me and she is at my window. So I told her again I did a mobile order. She then says what is your name? I say my name. She says WHAT again! I'm thinking this has to be a joke and why is she being rude to customers in a customer service setting. I say my name again and she goes YOU JUST PLACED THE ORDER NEXT TIME WAIT BEFORE GETTING IN LINE. It was clearly a line around the building and pass their parking lot, I had enough of her attitude for no reason at all and told her it's 1157am by the time they get done with all these cars it will be 1205pm. She then says IT'S NOT GOING TO TAKE 12MIN NEXT TIME WAIT BEFORE GETTING IN LINE! I looked at her and again said it's 1157am by the time I get there my order will be made and as she walked away I said you have a great day because clearly she was irritated with her life choices I guess. So now I'm in line trying to comprehend why she had to be rude but I was killing brain cells trying to make sense of it. Anyways, I got to the window after 1205 and WOW surprisingly my order was ready! Lydia at the window was very polite and asked if it was a mobile order and I said yes and got my order. I then told Lydia I wanted to make a complaint regarding my interaction with Lily who is being used as the face of their company because she is the first interaction customers have. I explained what happened and told her to look at the time as well. Lydia acted as if she understood, but when I asked for her coworkers name she said she didn't know who was outside. I found it odd you don't know who is running the drive thru speaking to you over the ear piece smh! So I asked for a manager, which was a shift lead and she provided me Lily's name. I let the shift lead know she can go over the incident with Lydia because I wasn't going to say what happened again. I told them to have a great day and drove off!! I've been to this Starbucks numerous times and never been treated so poorly. I definitely will not go back. I really hope Lily takes another training course on customer service or make a decision to love and enjoy the life paths YOU CHOOSE to take.
Slowest drive through EVER, even though someone stands outside and takes your order ahead of time. Get to window, I had 6.80 on my card for my regular coffee. They take all money from my card and tell me I didn't pay enough. Then when I ask why a regular coffee is 6.80 and my 84 stars doesn't cover it either. The clerk begins to be rude and say that I ordered more than I have money for. And repeated a long order that isn't mine. Doesn't refund money, and still wants me to pay for a coffee. I told him to keep the coffee and the attitude. This place is just can't seem to get it together. Not the first issue here.
Maybe they're renovating, but no place to sit with my laptop. This is the second one I stopped at with this same problem. sux.
Every time I have gone to this Starbucks, they get my order wrong. It’s been at least 5 times. Do better. Update - I tried them again & they messed up my drink & overcharged me. Person in drive thru even lied about the price. Really, really bad customer service at this location
Went through their drive-thru the day after Thanksgiving. Waited 20 mins in line and they got all three drink orders wrong. We didn’t realize it right away, so had to return and walk in. No apology offered at all, but they remade our drinks
There are no restrooms at this location. I got my drinks at the Starbucks in Albertsons (in the same shopping center) where I could also use a restroom. I understand that some Starbucks managers see providing a bathroom to customers as a hassle or inconvenience, but as a customer I see it is a necessity. I find it rude to suggest that I go somewhere else.
If I could give it a zero I would. This young women seems miserable in her job. I hope her job gets better or her life. I asked for a side of milk and she didn’t seem to want to do her job. I didn’t mean to inconvenience her. But it seems every other time I come to this store I get a bad experience.
I always order the same cold coffee since almost 5 yrs and today I got a diluted no taste coffee, I went back to the store and explain to the lady (worker) and I felt like that she was looking at me that did not now I was talking about, she was not being polite with me and was rude. At the end she change it in a bad actitud. Never come again 🤢🤮
Zia took are order and we waited 25 minutes before Aaron gave us are first drink. Chow was just laughing and talking in the phone. I’ve never in my life witness my drinks taking longer than normal. I just know this is not the spot for afternoon coffee.
I went to this location and order a grande ice Brown sugar oatmeal shaken espresso they forgot yo add the sweetener when I address this to the employee she proceeded and said it was weird with a big attitude, when she remake my order she pretty much gave me a cup full of ice , not to mention my other drink was terrible disgusting and end up in the trash that was a passion tea lemonade which they didn’t add lemonade but I notice once I was home
This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to, we spend about $50 to $80 every day here and there is always something wrong but this is the worst time. We continued to come here because the convenience of the drive thru only. How can anyone give these two drinks and think it’s ok. I’ll let the drinks speak for themselves. Bad almond milk and what they give you when you order a venti with no ice.
I asked for two drinks, one iced chai with no ice "to save for someone else later" and a peppermint white mocha with half the amount of flavoring, no whip. After waiting until I got home to try my drink, I received a regular mocha chocolate in my drink. This is a completely different flavor and after paying over $5 I expected it to be what I ordered. Also, my chai has been overfilled with milk to the very top in lieu of ice. This causes the ratio of chai to milk to be completely off and only tastes like 2% with a hint of spice. You should've still left room for my ice and stopped pouring at your regular line. What a waste of my time and $10!!

Bad Starbucks. Rude employees. Tables and chairs removed inside and out. Bathrooms removed. I’m guessing due to the bad homeless in the area but that doesn’t explain the condescending employees.
Inexcusable wait time. Slowest service at any Starbucks.
Zero Stars if I could. There was no bathroom available. There was nothing to sit on. There was zero zero furniture. I asked the person in there if I got a drink and went to my car if I could come back for a refill and she said no. Utterly ridiculous
this place is the worst never go here in your life they have horrible service and food and everything to add onto all of this madness I went to this Starbucks with my daughter It her birthday and it was 9:30 pm and on the maps and internet it said the Starbucks closes at 10pm when I got there they told us we can’t order and was so rude and had an additude and lied and was so mean and rude and distrespectful and told my daughter to go to a diffent one and lied,
The worst Starbucks! The staff is so caddy and annoyed when you ask for something. Zoe is extremely unprofessional and rude. They are unorganized and all over the place as far as orders go. I say this with a lot of grace and have given this store several chances because it’s so close to my house and we all have off days but no more. I will literally drive on the freeway up the street to college and get out of my car for better service. Not to mention they don’t let paying customers use the restroom or should I say my 3year old potty training while we waited for a mobile order as she was about to pee on their floor. I just can’t even deal with the people there. Thanks Zoe for the rude sarcastic attitude totally a great start to my day and making me wait over 10 mins for a mobile order and lying to me that mine was after everyone else coming in lol I’m a Starbucks VIP I know for a fact doesn’t take 20 mins for a coffee order.. May God bless you and guide you to treat people better and work on your communication skills and help you get through your hardships so you don’t take attitude to work.
I used to come here a lot but since they have a new Asian girl as manager, supervisor o whatever she is I don't like it. She is very rude, careless and never smile. She doesn't give a good service. Btw coffee is goood.
This is the Starbucks to avoid if you can help it. Disgusting. Filthy. I was told their bathrooms didn’t work and I bet I know why. Don’t go there for hygiene and safety sake.
1 star only because I’m a partner and they wouldn’t take my partner card for my discount. I do not need an app to get my rightful benefits. Anyway, fix that, stop changing up the rules each time I come thanks.
They are always out of something and always mess up orders. Out of cold brew before 11am is crazy. Service is rude blame it on the blue haired guy at the window. Worst Starbucks in SD and lemon grove but everyone already knows coming here you risk that. The Albertsons Starbucks team is even more amazing LMAO
Terrible service! I asked for a black coffee and they couldn’t even get that right. I wasn’t given a receipt either and when I called several times to speak to a manager so that I could come get what I actually ordered, the phone just rings with no answer. Do better Starbucks …
